441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should move to BTC? on: October 31, 2019, 10:45:26 AM
don't sell your XRP to buy BTC, the market is now more towards the downtrend. will feel very loss if you sell xrp then buy btc and it turns out btc prices continue to fall. it's better to just save your xrp, if you really feel like buying btc, I would rather recommend your capital for short-term trading.
I will suggest to sell XRP and buy bitcoin, are you an XRP investor? If you are, have you get profit a few months before when the price of bitcoin went up to $13.000? I guess not, since I know most majority the price of altcoin was decreased and there were many people who griped about it.

We all know, there are two types of investor who have investment here i.e long term investment and short term investment. If you believe that the XRP price will goes up again at least reach back its ATH $3.8 then you can hold it and you will face some problems, just see that the XRP is centralized coin, but if otherwise you only have one reason to buy bitcoin because you will comfortable IMHO.
I will encourage your suggestion. If someone is really serious about making money with  the help of digital currencies, then he should start his journey with bitcoin as it is the most beneficial crypto coin so far and has already proved its potential by introducing millionaire to the world. As a matter of fact, altcoins highly depend on bitcoin for their growth and rates. They cannot return huge profits like bitcoin either.
Right, because the world of crypto has started from Bitcoin and still it is number one currency in crypto market, and its price gets increase several times more than any other coin in the market which means that Bitcoin is more profitable as compare to all, so the first preference should always be Bitcoin for investment.

it seems the words in my post about 7 days ago have been wrong, not according to what happened today. at first it was true that the bitcoin position at 8k went down to 7.5k (don't sell your xrp to btc)

It should after 2 days after that, I immediately correcting again by suggesting selling all xrp and buying bitcoin. I'm late to respond.
now in 9k position, it seems to have missed a big profit.

442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: October 31, 2019, 08:30:11 AM
Over 850 millions of people use alipay as means of payment mostly in china and i heard lots about wepay as well, i come to think of it that what if bitcoin was been used in their places instead? if alipay and wepay can get to where they are today then altcoins have all the chances of survival as well. Wepay and Alipay are just online payment solution, crypto can do better.

Real use cases plus real life working products, let these two be your main focus when picking altcoins to invest your money on, do not listen to those saying 'dump altcoins for bitcoin' when you are holding solid altcoins
added it could be a way for crypto to get space in the world online as a new payment method. after that crypto will be more easily accepted. In addition, another benefit is crypto that can survive and also improve the quality or excess of the product in the market and also the real product can work well.
crypto already get space in the world online as new payment method at several merchants, maybe it has not yet become a mass payment but crypto already has its own market. I see there are already several token projects that aim to be payment options and work normally and still survived until now, example Pundi X.

Although bitcoin can survive on its own but altcoin still contributes greatly in the crypto world, at least 33% in coinmarketcap are transactions conducted by altcoin.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Years of bear market.. what to expect next on: October 31, 2019, 07:00:14 AM
i'd expect for another year of a bear market..
i mean there could be some pumps but not as significant as in 2017
in my opinion the significant moves will come again in 2021 - 2022
our job is to accumulate!
it could be that your guess is correct or slightly misses. the possibility of mid-2020 will be a determinant of the fate of bitcoin whether it remains in a bearish condition or leads to bullish. for a while we see the progress until the end of 2019.
444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trade Vs long trade on: October 31, 2019, 04:11:17 AM
All depends on you if you are the type of person that has time to do full time trading, then why not do trading. If you are the type of person, that has less time as you are also doing full time job then maybe a long term will fit for you.

Daily and long term trading are both good, what matters is that you are doing something that will help you and will increase your income.
If the job is full-time and wants to do daily trading, it can actually be done even though the profit is only small, there should be no problem, trading is only to increase side income from the salary. Or you/we can use big capital to make a lot of profit if trading is more important than a full-time job. (I personally do not really like long-term trading, can not be patient)
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Initial Model Offering(IMO) replace Initial Exchange Offering(IEO)? on: October 31, 2019, 01:11:42 AM
the concept of a good idea, but whether this will bring change and hype people will choose IMO or people will still like IEO? same as before when still using the ICO system, and suddenly there was a new breakthrough namely STO but the demand was not much, the hype was only temporary and in the end people preferred to return to ICO. After that, a new concept emerged, IEO, which is currently the most commonly used.
however I support your idea, because it's something new and unique, which can improve the type of investment the old model (now).
446  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 30, 2019, 04:16:05 PM
I compare Bitcoin to gold. Gold is also limited in its supply. In this gold very similar to Bitcoin. In the past, people used gold to pay for goods and services, but then gold was replaced by Fiat money. Perhaps this happened for the reasons described in the first post of this topic. Thus, I think that ultimately Bitcoin would not be able to become a currency for everyday settlements. Perhaps some digital currency with moderate inflation would be good for these purposes.
bitcoin was very difficult to be currency.its value has high volatility in every second.we need more regulations from government that will make bitcoin accepted.gold could accepted cause it have pshycal shape.meanwhile bitcoin just a value , maybe with support from other digital payment system it could be realize.
very true, the difference and the main point is, gold is physical while bitcoin is only a value. bitcoin cannot guarantee. so, agree with this.

The easiest factor to understand is because the value of bitcoin is not stable. Too much speculation that quickly affects the value of bitcoin.
however bitcoin will be difficult to accept by all countries in the world even though bitcoin can help a country's economy.
447  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: October 30, 2019, 02:10:57 PM
It can be a threat and not a benefit for other users. It is better if we will not participate in project that needing our documents because our identity will be at risks. KYC is now part of regulations but still we should prevent joining in a project that requiring our identity.
Agree if kyc is part of the regulations but I see that there is still a lot of data that is misused, even though we don't see it directly.

There is no benefit if kyc on the token project.
Let alone doing kyc in a market exchange whose reputation is indicated to be a scam. And kyc is now often misused by airdrop programs. danger!
Kyc's benefit for me is that I can do transactions on the exchange market that is already legal in my country. for now, that's all I got.
448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: October 30, 2019, 12:09:25 PM
I think these expert traders are hiding their losses just like you said. First of all because as "experts" they need to live up to a professional reputation wherein their trades are good and profitable, would you take trading advice from someone who is broke? No.

If anything I wouldn't be surprised if in reality ALL experts have hidden losses that they never disclose to the public.
Yes clearly the main goal maybe is to build a reputation, so many people will assume that "he" never suffered the slightest loss. no problem, i admit it is normal thing.
on the other hand it's good, because the goal is to motivate newbie traders to not be pessimistic when trading for the first time, and can learn how to analyze the right way, which he has given to everyone. he don't want that newbie trader follow the wrong way.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins for 2020? on: October 30, 2019, 10:10:44 AM
When talking about "the best", there will be many choices. It seems that the strong candidates are still BNB because they are supported directly by the market itself.
Yah,, even though I actually have chosen litecoin and xrp, for me this is the best but not necessarily someone else will be the same as me. If we think about it, most of the best categorized altcoins are those that have expensive price/high prices except for xrp and xlm. hmmm ... or maybe it turns out that xlm/xrp which is very potential in the future.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BCH even be worth mining after the halving? on: October 30, 2019, 08:55:25 AM
I think Halving can't guarantee a price increase for BCH. the price increase may be only a little, if we remember a few months ago there was also halving litecoin even though the price experienced a surge but only slightly.
Except if halving bitcoin, usually it always gives the most noticeable impact, if for this I am very sure.
If you want BCH mining, please go ahead. all altcoin include bch will follow the bitcoin price movements.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between ICO's and IEO's on: October 30, 2019, 06:56:03 AM
ICOs are usually without an escrow and are held on the website of the project, often manipulating data on the amount of funds that have been collected. too risky!
Whereas IEO, there is an escrow at the same time being held on the exchange market. more trustworthy than ICO.
Even though there are many differences, there are still drawbacks, there is no guarantee that the type of investment we choose ICO/IEO will be successful.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LiteCoin or ETHEREUM? Best Investment option. on: October 29, 2019, 08:35:58 AM
If you really have to choose, I would suggest you choose ethereum. The potential of Ethereum is greater than Litecoin, and in a situation like this. Not that Litecoin isn't worth investing. It's just, I suggest the best for investment.
Yeah I agree, if you have to choose between these two coins, it's better to choose Ethereum than Litecoin, but it doesn't wrong if you also choose LTC into your portfolio because Litecoin is also a good coin and suitable for long-term investment. I personally will buy LTC and I want to hold it for long-term.
Me too.
Litecoin is the best option as a long-term investment, the reason is because I have bought and save litecoin in my personal wallet. (i don't have eth)
Not too bad if you want to buy ethereum, and yes, if i want buy I will choose this only for short-term investments (I don't really need eth at this time).
I actually use Litecoin for capital on gambling that I am currently using.
Both is best for investment.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Klaytn ( kakaotalk) project on: October 29, 2019, 06:44:01 AM

454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth for me in my situation to start btc trading? on: October 29, 2019, 03:37:49 AM
I think become a trader and programmer is really different way. You won't get experts on one of them if you doing both.
Traders is have to learn the technical analysis and also always have to read the news about crypto everytime because crypto price is oftenly affected by the news.
And if you want to be a programmer you have to learn many new technology or programming language everytime.
So i think you have to focus at one speciality.
But out there, seriously there really are people who can do these 2 speciality at once and become experts in both. Maybe rarely find people who really can, but in fact there really is. How if he could have used his programming knowledge in a different way and made a profit in the analysis when trading. we would not know that, anything could happen.
Use this situation to get a lot profit, i see btc price there is still up and down movement between 9100-9300, enough to get profit if you have a lot of capital. (or someone who want to trade) .
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: October 28, 2019, 03:01:15 PM
..... in one month can you on average do you always experience victory? for example this month and also this month. I myself was the same as you but in the end everything ran out including the benefits I got from gambling
As proof and example, today I just got a profit.

(link reference)
that's profit today, not bad for capital bet with a higher base bet again or can choose to save to vault or just withdraw it all (best option). On average i can certainly get a victory every month even though the amount is not much.
But, by the way, to be honest, I've also experienced in a month never won even once, and of course I have to think about earning money outside of gambling. Cheesy
35% gets money from outside the gambling area
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: October 28, 2019, 12:53:39 PM
I think I live from gambling. There was a time when gambling became a source of my income, hmmm and though sometimes there was a time when I got money outside gambling to buy food and drinks and sleep. Well, if the percentage of my life from gambling is around 65% and the remaining 35% gets money from outside the gambling area.
I am not a professional who always gets profit every time playing gambling, but I feel my soul comes from gambling lol.
so it's very possible if there is someone who is serious about his life from gambling.
Is this really true that someone is able to make a living from gambling? I think it is a bit strange because I myself when so active in gambling felt there was no calm because I always thought "Will I win or lose every day" and make a burden. Control of lust when gambling from humans is very difficult because several times I myself also play with defeat due to lust. how do you handle it? Grin
Really true. I am not lying.
playing with small capital and every profit even though the profit is not much, I deposit the profit into a vault. (I play gambling on primedice and stake)
there are times when I can't control my lust, I feel it too just same like you. just be consistent with how you bet and control your capital.
please remember, that my life is not entirely from gambling.
-snip-
the percentage of my life from gambling is around 65%....
I am not a professional who always gets profit every time playing gambling....

458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 28, 2019, 08:12:42 AM
It depends on the market situation, if in a Bearish situation then I think it is not suitable for daily trading because it is difficult to get profit, But if the Bullish market situation is suitable for daily trading because with volatile prices it will be easy to get profits. Long term investment suitable for the Bearish market situation.
if we can take advantage of the situation even in bearish conditions we can still get profit. believe it or not, pro traders will always be able to get a profit in impossible circumstances though. daily profit can be achieved even though a little struggle.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to get back into mining? on: October 28, 2019, 04:51:06 AM
Since all this while that mining altcoins have not been profitable like before i don't bother to keep mining coins so i just lock my mining rig in a room and now that bitcoin halving is knocking on the door i think its a good time to start mining even if its not profitable? i believe if bitcoin surge over 30k altcoins will take the ride we've been waiting for, anyways, what do you guys think? good idea or bad ?
not good idea.
still will not be profitable even if later the price of bitcoin rises to 30k. the total cost incurred will be greater than the results (the more difficult to get bitcoin), unless you have a super sophisticated mining tool.
460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: October 27, 2019, 03:12:20 PM
profitable if you focus diligently doing it and have quite a lot of capital, because if a little capital and do daily trading is will need long enough to enjoy the full profits. oops... don't make it wrong, there is another way even with small capital can get a lot of profit, that is when the market is fluctuating up and down sharply, take advantage of the opportunity to choose which coins are trending up and down significantly.
