Guys, I agree that PC is more universal then the game console but... As you know, every month we see a lot of new games who are published on gamespot or ign and if we want to follow that tempo we must have a lot of money. I mean, I have a computer and the most of the games I used to play on PC, but now I can do that. What I am trying to say that, you have to be prepare to buy new parts every 6 months for your PC if you like to follow the evolution of the games. At the games console is different. For example, if you buy Play Station 4, you will be always available to play all games that was developed for that machine. You don't have to care if the game is 2010 or 2012, if it is create for Play Station 4, then you can play it for sure.  Plus, if we want to compare, PC has the best resolution, but is x3 or x4 time expensive then the consoles! but the games are cheaper for PC. and 6month? i usually keep my pc about two years - ok i cant play with max settings but it still looks way better than on console |

imho tether usd is way better in digitalizing USD because BitUSD still carries some risk - afaik 25% price change of bitshares is enough to make bitusd worthless (which is not much considering that bitshares is worth nothing atm)

why are some people so persistent about trying to damage the reputation of dash? Throughout all my time in this forum, I've never seen another coin receive so much backlash, do people do this out of spite? Do they gain something out of this?
Hi there, that is a good question. Let me answer that one for you: they think DASH is the reason why Monero isn't going anywhere and are angry. for me thats not true. i have bashed dash before i saw monero. i just got a little tired the last year repeating myself so i stopped...i just hate scams and this is what makes me angry about dash. nothing more or less... |

tbh i dont see any way to keep private data safe from a gov which really wants them. undetectable bios backdoors ( http://blog.invisiblethings.org/papers/2015/x86_harmful.pdf) and sidechannel attacks (which allow the leak of data) are there and usable. sorry... i'd love a world where it would be possible to trust our govs. but they are just too powerful. what you may try: - buy pc's from different countries (eg china, russia, usa) and split your wealth and just hope that not all of them cooperate or go insane the same time. - pen and paper the only way out is: just try to be unimportant ;-) they dont care about a few millions... |

What Tim Cook means is that there will be little use of physical currency in the future. We will only use digital currency in the future. Bitcoin is the best digital currency, so if it is used widely, Applepay will integrate it.
apple wont integrate anything. they are known to try to always make a new standard and let their customers feel elitist. imho: google, paypal and wu may integrate bitcoin.... but apple? no ;-) |

Glauben kannst Du in der Kirche. Hier geht es um Befehl und Gehorsam. Und es fällt einfach ziemlich leicht zu glauben dass ein Staat die Stabilität einer Währung gewährleisten kann. Bzw ist fiat geld ja eigentlich ein Schuldschein der aussagt dass man mit diesem Schuldschein Wert vom Staat erhalten kann. Der Glaube an den Wert kommt dann halt aus dem Glauben in die Fähigkeit des Staates diesen Wert zu erbringen. Dummerweise scheinen nicht wirklich viele zu erkennen dass diese Fähigkeit sehr fragil ist. Die Staaten haben so viele Schulden dass sie praktisch nie diese zurückzahlen können. Ein Geldschein (Bargeld) kann nicht als Schuldschein betrachtet werden. Es gibt nur eine Partei, die Dir gegen Bargeld etwas geben kann und das ist Dein Mitbürger/Händler um die Ecke. Verkauft Dir Dein Bäcker morgen kein Brot mehr gegen Dein Bargeld, dann war es das. Der Staat garantiert (ausser mit Notstandsgesetzen und notfalls Gewalt) hier gar nichts! Dagegen kann man Giralgeld als Schuldschein betrachten. Die erzeugende (Geschäfts!)Bank schafft per Kreditvergabe Giralgeld. Dieses Giralgeld (also sozusagen die Schuldverschreibung) kann man nun an andere Menschen weitergeben. Die Empfänger hoffen nun, dass sie die Schuldverschreibung wiederum weitergeben können oder die Bank ihr Versprechen einlöst, und sie notfalls Bargeld dafür bekommen. Der Staat schützt dieses Geschäftsmodell per Monopol (durch die Bafin), indem er nur ausgewählten Personen (den Bankern) erlaubt, solche Schuldverschreibungen weiterzuleiten. Jeder andere Mensch muss dafür zwingend eine Bank benutzen. In jüngster Zeit haben Malta und Griechenland gezeigt, was von dem Versprechen dieser Schuldverschreibungen (also dem Giralgeld) zu halten ist. Ausserdem muss jedem der darüber nachdenkt (und der den Begriff Mindestreserve einordnen kann) klar sein, dass das Bargeld gar nicht in ausreichender Menge existiert um diese Schuldverschreibungen einzulösen. Soweit ich weiß ist die Definition von Fiatgeld mit Goldbindung dass es ein Schuldschein war mit dem der Staat garantierte dass man, wenn man zur Notenbank geht, den Gegenwert in Gold erhalten kann. Natürlich kann man den Schuldschein auch einfach an den Bäcker geben der dann den Staat als Schuldner hat. Wie das allerdings bei Nicht-Gold-Gedeckten Währungen gehandhabt wird weiß ich nicht. Die Notenbank kann ja nicht wirklich etwas auszahlen. Ja, die Diskrepanz zwischen echtem Wert und theoretischem Geldwert ist mittlerweile eine enorme Blase geworden. Und da der theoretische Wert durch Zinsen immer weiter wächst kann das nur auf eine Katastrophe hinaus führen. Soweit ich weiss garantiert der Staat bei FIAT (nur noch) folgendes: - Du kannst damit Steuern zahlen - Du wirst es gegen Waren und Dienstleistungen tauschen können In beiden Fällen sagt er jedoch NICHTS darüber aus wie teuer das ist. Dh ob ein Brot morgen 5€ oder 10€ kostet ist eine ganze andere Baustelle. Wer in DE einen Laden aufmacht muss Bargeld akzeptieren und Steuern in Euro bezahlen. Das wird mit Staatsgewalt durchgesetzt und damit wird der Euro für uns zum Zahlungsmittel. Ein Shop kann natürlich zusätzlich auch andere Zahlungsmittel akzeptieren; nur an Euros kommt er nicht vorbei. |

i'd add: anon, blockchain size, tail reward (means mineable forever), good and secure mobile support, cheap transactions, high tps (able to buy coffee with it), preferably no need for light-clients because its (and will be forever) light enough nothing at stake problem: not interested. i dont want any kind of pos. at least no reward for staking please. quantum proof: imho not important yet. the algos which are quantum resistant seem to be too big atm. |

They are faking their volumes, just like Mt.Gox did in 2013. Too many inside trading, no real traders there. Remember their scandal last week, they cancelled completed trades.
Yes, I didn't like how they have reversed those trades. I think that wasn't fair toward people that were involved in those trades and that actually got good deals out of it. But where did you get from that they are faking their volumes? Their volumes are already small enough. If you have some other informations, please share it with us. Or you are just talking from the top of your head? i dont like the trade reversal too, but AFAIK they are obligated to do so. and we can be sure they dont fake their volume and that the owners dont trade their temselves... ^ all of that comes with regulation ;-) |

why do you need XAPO private key anyway? just send it to electrum or something than export the private key  I don't really see why you have to do that at all maybe he needs to sign a message? IMHO using a wallet where you dont control the privkey is asking for trouble |

Ausserdem liegt die vor der Tür und nicht im BK... ist immer wieder toll wenns regnet ;-) Vllt schaut der Zusteller ja dennoch auf den Briefkasten, ansonstne könnten man den Aufkleber ja möglichst auffällig gestalten, sodass er ihn definitiv sieht. Evtl. Könnte man einen Fußabtreter damit beschriften als kleinen scherz, dann sieht ers beim auf dem Boden werfen xD Oder den Zusteller einmal abfangen und mitteilen, dass man das nicht haben möchte.
