Then fuck off if that's what you would do. If you had CIRCUMSTANTIAL evidence like I said you would let the case build until it's solid. That is that

even if you have proof and such things you should give him his mail account back.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 13, 2015, 04:36:54 PM
Are there any stores online or offline that accept Monero?

https://steambitshop.com/ through shapeshift (they even show xmr as a payment option, but together with a bunch of other alts)

and any bitcoin shop through xmr.to
443  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting-Vod be prevented deleting posts Self Modded thread/Removed from DT on: September 13, 2015, 03:22:34 PM
best thread ever, should be required reading. can we sticky it?

1+ for the sticky, this is going to be pure entertainment for the next couple of months, I believe Vod is also from Canada

I am!  Edmonton, Alberta Smiley

My identity is no secret.
But QS's identity is secret, and he has previously stated that he wants to keep it that way. So, if he actually decides to sue you, wouldn't his identity be revealed? And since he doesn't want his identity revealed, he won't actually sue you?

maybe he is using an alt to sue?
444  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 13, 2015, 06:25:48 AM
There have also been no logical and/or factual arguments that counter any of my arguments, but rather nothing but trolls, scammers and shit posters who in no way address my arguments.

ROFL
95% of bitcointalk are trolls, scammers and shitposters now?
just not sharing your opinion and trying to convince you that a dictionary is more trustworthy than you makes you think that?

446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Petition to pass the Bitcoin Alert Keys to Andreas M. Antonopoulos (w/POLL) on: September 12, 2015, 09:52:21 PM
just an idea: wouldnt it be great if everybody could just edit the keys as he wishes?
eg. some people are the defaults but other can offer an alerting service too.

and anybody can decide which he wants to trust with alerts.

one question: are there different alert keys per person? are all alert keys needed to send an alert or is one sufficient?
447  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New suspicion: QuickSeller and BiPolarBob appear to be the same person on: September 12, 2015, 08:03:19 PM
preceisely what he does. Escrowing away for his alts  Wink

Thanks for proving my point, friend

ok, you are saying that QS ONLY provides escrow for his alts? thats your proof?
LOL
448  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New suspicion: QuickSeller and BiPolarBob appear to be the same person on: September 12, 2015, 07:56:02 PM
Well I won't bore you with the details, friends. But over here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1139462.0) I mentioned some concerns with the BiPolarBob user.

But I am starting to think he is QuickSeller.

When I mentioned this suspicion it looks like QuickSeller posted very fast and offered to Escrow for BiPolarBob (at a fee!).  Evidence is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1139462.msg12402296#msg12402296

Doesn't it seem strange, friends? An accusation-suspicion is made and QuickSeller pops out of nowhere to escrow for BiPolar Bob?

It seems like I discovered his game so he is just being funny about it now. why else volunteer the stupid escrow for the alt of his?

please bore me with the details

and no... i dont think its strange that QS is escrowing for BiPolarBob. thats what QS do...escrowing away Wink
449  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 12, 2015, 07:48:15 PM
I am still in the process of my investigating but it seems quickseller and BiPolarBob are the same. I have started the accusation but I will build some evidence before making a big show of it

why are you hunting BiPolarBob?
Did he hurt your feelings because you didnt receive something for free?

Leave this thread alone please... QS is a problem big enough already. no reason to add you to this mess (btw whats your main account?)
450  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tomatocage is a scammer on: September 12, 2015, 07:27:07 PM
We're all alts of TC. This is all a dream, and everyone is dead when TC wakes up.

TC is hibernating. I had my doubts.

So TC is responsible for everything that went wrong? Why the satoshi price isn't going above a dollar?  Shocked

nono... you gotta Blame Vod

LOL

452  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 12, 2015, 08:34:46 AM
Has everyone that paid escrow fees to Quickseller been paid back?

afaik he didnt contact his customers just waits for them to find out and contact him - in which case he publicly promised to pay back.

so i'd say: no he didnt. but obviously i can't proof it.
453  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is escrowing for yourself using a secret alt OK? on: September 12, 2015, 07:58:42 AM
You are not paying for a neutral third party, the cost of using an escrow is factored into the cost of the item you are trading.

The very definition of escrow implies a third party.  You are paying a premium for protection against scammers.  When you are both the escrow and buyer/seller you provide no protection at all, so you are not entitled to any fee at all.  You are taking fees under false pretenses, and it really bothers me that you don't see that.

This is just Canadian insurance law - not sure about the other countries, but I'm sure they are similar.
So you are telling me that you are willing to pay a higher price for an item solely because neither party trusts eachother sufficiently to send first to the other party?

In other words:
-You believe a widget is worth $100
-If you trust the person enough to pay first without escrow, then you would not pay $101 for the widget
-If you trust the person enough to pay them first without escrow, then you would be willing to pay $100 for the widget
-If you do not trust the person enough to pay them first without escrow, then the total amount you will be willing to pay is $101

If this is your argument, then why are you willing to pay more for the widget if you are using escrow? Huh

if i sell you an item and say it is new and original packaged and the item you received is used and not original packaged wouldnt you call me a scammer?
even when i tell you that i treated that item well and it is as good as new and there is no difference if original packaged or not... thats your argument regarding escrow.

you redefine the word "escrow" to fit your needs. look it up in a dictionary!
454  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 11, 2015, 05:35:10 PM
Seems to me that the stress test, also known as Bitcoin Giveaway, has failed to harm the Bitcoin transactions in any way.

While Mem pool is quite large and tx back-log has also grown, it seems that the only back-log are the spam transactions them self.

Real transactions are going through as usual Smiley

does anyone else notice that btct has much "502-bad gateway" today?
imho this stresstest only seems to be a forum stress test Cheesy

bitcoin seems unaffected Wink

456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will I be able to use bitcoin again? I can't get ANY of my wallets to load on: September 11, 2015, 05:12:43 PM
3 different wallets, 2 different devices, 2 different internet connections tested. I have never had a problem with my wallets like this before. I just think it's a little fishy that all these things would coincidentally happen at the same time.

so please tell us which software you use and what errors you get
457  Other / Meta / Re: How to fix this? on: September 11, 2015, 05:07:30 PM
i get that too sometimes. today a little more often

i guess ( !) many people are loading the coinwallet stresstest thread over and over again; putting huge load on the servers.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will I be able to use bitcoin again? I can't get ANY of my wallets to load on: September 11, 2015, 05:06:09 PM
I'm assuming this is because of the stress test, but I can't get any of my wallets to load right now, and without that I can't get any transactions sent.

I need to send coins urgently right now. Is this hopeless? Why does everyone on the forum seem so nonchalant about this?

wallet loading problems hasnt anything to do with the stress test. the stress test would only affect sending coins (but it seems it dont do that atm)

what error do you get? have you looked in the logs?
459  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is escrowing for yourself using a secret alt OK? on: September 11, 2015, 10:58:36 AM
Well, it's almost completely unanimous that using yourself to escrow is considered a big no no.

I suggest the community leaders tag anyone they catch doing this going forward.

as long as TC and Blazr thinks its Ok and stay on DT i dont think it wont happen...
IMHO when QS come back in a few months he will be back on DT.

so i just think DT is fucked...
460  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 11, 2015, 04:38:32 AM
So, what, I uploaded a shit ton of these keys, it says I have oodles of btc in my blockchain acc, and I can't do shit with it... Fucking useless I guess, unless anyone has any ideas?

Basically it does not worth the effort, you are most likely to be able to pull out 0.005 bitcoin if you are lucky enough to broadcast a transaction with more than 500 inputs of 0.00001 bitcoin and get it confirmed by some of the nodes, that's $1 but will waste you a couple of hours time
I learned something today.
This experiment showed that several people don't fully understand how bitcoin transactions are constructed and how bitcoin ownership works. Several people seemed to think that 'sweeping' somehow automatically moves the inputs into their address without having to create a transaction. Sweeping does not move any coins and does not change coin ownership. Sweeping is just a layer that certain wallets provide that makes it look like everything has merged into one address when it really has just added a private key to your wallet.

about what wallet you are talking?

usually:
import: import the address in your wallet and dont do any transaction
sweep: move funds in your wallet and forget that privkey
