I've long said signature campaigns could help to actually improve the forum but only if they're run by managers that do their job properly.
Bounties are not helping this problem. Forget about an entry fee to creating a signature campaign or requiring a useful product. You'll have an army of spammers at your feet that are also happier when your token is worth something: double the scam fiesta!
342  Economy / Reputation / Re: VOS IS RUNNING A PONZI SCHEME on: February 05, 2021, 03:34:41 PM
I read the accusations about you, regarding pedophilia. There is no way that someone made up the story like that. So it means that IT IS A TRUE.
Please, for the sake of everyone who is utterly stupid compared to you, explain to us your highly-intelligent logical process that led you to such a conclusion.

Premise: There is no way that someone made up the story like that.
Conclusion: Therefore, the story is true.

Missing precursor: How is it possible that no one is able to make up a story 'like that'?

Adkinsbet indicated they willing to solve the problems, but it looks like you keep on pushing and constantly making false accusations against them and give negative tags for no reasons.

Now it seems they have left the forum and people can only settle issues directly with them.

So again, well done Jollygood, thanks to you some players can not solve their cases any more on the forum.
Agreed. Why not persist in the event of shadiness when you can just deny responsibility after you were given tangible consequences?

Never mind the ToS spam.
345  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Play Smarter 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: February 03, 2021, 03:20:20 AM
For the past 2 months the fee was ~$2 we charged users while we were often paying $10+ out of pocket. Between BTC and ETH we would have spent hundreds of thousands this month alone in fee subsidies for users which gets unsustainable when users are using stake as a wallet to avoid paying normal fees. We will keep our fee under the current transaction fee so users will still benefit. As the network normalizes and fees come back down our fee passed to users will be reduced further. We are working on making it so users can set a custom fee
More inputs to a casino, of course, increase the size of the transaction. Consolidating many small deposits to withdraw a winning amount (expected to be much higher than the average deposit) means a potentially expensive transaction. What's the average deposit size? It might be worth investigating a sliding withdrawal fee determined by the value of your transactions - incentivizes reduced size usage.
346  Economy / Reputation / Re: Member Jollygood of bitcointalk trust abuser and general imbecile. on: January 28, 2021, 07:36:20 PM
Oh, you got me!
Yeah, you forgot to log out of the account. Happens to the best of us: sometimes when I'm LoyceV or Lauda or theymos, I post on the wrong topics.

That's what happened when I posted this way back:

I think Lauda's trust ratings are accurate. Maybe 1% of them have errors or have expired in relevance but that is no example of corruption, at least not blatantly.

Oh, silly days. Smiley

At this stage Jollygood is going a bit crazy as well, as he is apologizing against his own (with his 2 accounts).
Now, is there any concrete evidence for these claims or should we start linking together everyone who types similarly?
347  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Sell Casascius 2013 .5 Series 2 on: January 28, 2021, 07:28:46 PM
Will try to get a pic uploaded.  Am a bit illiterate to this forum, so need to figure out how.

Number is 122LPqmM
Newbies can't upload images directly but we can quote it for you. If you simply post it onto imgur or another image-hosting alternative and share the link, other users can place [img][/img] tags over the image page.
348  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Sell Casascius 2013 .5 Series 2 on: January 28, 2021, 07:04:51 PM
Got a photo?

Best if it's accompanied by the latest block number + last few digits of its hash and/or the current date.

More like since day 56... but that doesn't have the same kind of charm to it.
Remember, this discussion is not relevant to the actual content of the scam accusations.

Ad-hominem attacks distract from the topic of discussion and it's difficult to keep a conspiracy going if you are going to add every DT user that supports the flag and gives the account a negative rating. You might as well throw out the sentiment, "Anyone who distrusts AdkinsBET is untrustworthy. The proof is because they're attacking AdkinsBET and that is untrustworthy!"

Better to write out direct sentences than to sneak in rhetoric all coward-like.
350  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Spammer Blacklist] The Shitlist on: January 28, 2021, 12:30:34 AM
This neutral rating somehow is permanently branding any account that is tagged to be one of the worst spammers of all time..  A little tweak on the sentence may do, probably.
I agree. Changing it to simply
Quote from: <original> Part of the Spammer Blacklist: this user has made at least 50 replies [...] to
Code:
Part of the Spammer Blacklist: this user has made at least X replies that are not up to forum standards.

:: This should make it better both for determining the severity of the spammer and for reducing the "top N worst" branding.

The people on the list are being monitored, of course. Though, I find that most of these users in the past have stopped posting for some time or altogether, resuming their one-liners as if nothing happened. Or sometimes the most egregious spammers will continue to post insipid surface-level remarks that relate to the topic title for a couple days.
I'm starting to change around some of these neutral ratings.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anybody recommend any Ethereum tokens to invest in? on: January 26, 2021, 03:06:43 PM
Can anybody recommend any Ethereum tokens to invest in?
Yes. Anyone can recommend any Ethereum token to invest in - if you are the kind of person to invest in something purely due to someone else telling you, then perhaps you should consider your risk assessment with the use of that strategy.
352  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆⚽ Adkinsbet.com | Sports | In-Play | ESports | Racebook | Virtual Sports | ⚽🏆 on: January 25, 2021, 11:45:02 AM
I have also reasons to believe that 1 person is managing more accounts. If you check their history, they are always involved in the same topics, shortly after eachother.
Does that mean that, under your reasoning system, you can link together several accounts that opposed the flag together since they post in similar topics? This distracts from a core issue that I would still like Adkinsbet to address.
Adkinsbet: Did you change your Terms and Conditions without telling players? Why?
353  Other / Meta / Re: Pining useful thread on: January 24, 2021, 05:13:22 PM
Every additional thread dilutes the value of previous threads.

We know this with the monetary policy of the central banks - that's why we picked Bitcoin. So why would you do the same thing to the most valuable threads here?
What threads, in particular, are you talking about?

I don't see anything that is worth pinning that can't be sought out via a simple search.
354  Economy / Reputation / Re: AdkinsBet - My personal experience on: January 24, 2021, 04:50:36 PM
There are a few questions/requests still left unanswered:

1. Proof of solvency via a signed message.
2. The question of whether players knew about ToS changes, never mind agreeing to them.
3. The strange behavior of some users posting personal details.
I tried to be generous but there were way too many red flags - those neutral ratings reflect my understanding at the time and I didn't want to tag them until I thought it was vital to prevent new players from joining.

Let's not extrapolate from a sample size of 1.
355  Economy / Reputation / Re: Who give us Justice? on: January 24, 2021, 04:46:55 PM
You'd better read the forum rules before posting. Serious trolls and spammers will certainly be banned from the forum.
He asked for it. Might as well oblige:

Moderators please suspend me from this fucking forum.
In this forum all are broker Grin

I guess he's made enough from his bounty spam and is ready to retire from the forum with his riches. I never knew bounty farming was such a luxurious lifestyle.
356  Economy / Reputation / Re: Who give us Justice? on: January 24, 2021, 04:10:13 PM
You all are same.
I have no alt account.
Let me be generous for one small aside.

If two users on the forum share the same wallet address, how do prove that they are different identities, never mind different people?
Suppose I share an address and contact details with YOSHIE - if I simply say, "that's my brother," is that sufficient to show that I am not him?

If you think about this for more than 5 seconds, then you'll understand.
You all support YOSHIE because he is hero member.
Shame on you all.
They're still only a hero member? What a fucking loser! He'll never get into the DefaultTrust cult at this point. Smiley

Shame on you the legendary.
You all are same.
You have no Justice.
Good luck...
What is justice, anyway? Is it double-posting and breaking forum rules? Is it believing someone purely based on a textual response? Or is it in reality a blanket word that has no real meaning, which you use as rhetoric to push a connotation onto your detractors? You say these words but I'm not sure you even know what you're saying.
357  Economy / Reputation / Re: Who give us Justice? on: January 24, 2021, 03:14:27 PM
If its my fault then 90℅ of bounty hunter are wrong.
90℅ of hunter participate the same bounty.
Are they all alt account YOSHIE?
Nice deflection. Just kidding, not really. What do other bounty hunters have to do with your situation? Nothing. You want to expose them? Do it: you'd be doing us a favor.

Quote
You think we're a bunch of fucking morons, or what?
Your language are so nasty YOSHIE.
SHAME ON YOU.
Are you such a shitposter that you are unable to properly read quotes? No wonder you went for the "my brother" excuse.
358  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Spammer Blacklist] The Shitlist on: January 24, 2021, 03:02:03 PM
Okay.  I already know it.
Tagging someone if it's only based on old bpip recordings without comparing the actual activity is still unacceptable.
Also people can change.
It's not the first time you were tagged for being a spammer. I'm sorry that I wasn't fast enough: I should have added these ratings as soon as I started reporting you.

If neutral feedback bothers you that much then you should consider how you ever got to the point where you thought, "let me write 10 pages of consecutive spam posts". Three pages into your post history, you can start to see the same level quality as the posts I typically report. If you want to say that you've changed, then that's okay, but you haven't been doing much posting since those replies were deleted. How am I supposed to know that all of a sudden, you are now able to write incredible responses with renewed vigor?
For the record, almost all of the users who have triple-digit good reports had entire pages of posts reported: that's how much spam they were generating alone. I can understand that you want to "change" but would you have done so yourself, had I not reported those posts?

I usually remember the usernames of the worst spammers out there. For some reason, I don't remember yours, so I must have done the bulk of the reporting in just a few days or even a single day. What does that say about the quality I saw?
359  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM!!! AdkinsBet scammed me for amount of 196 mBTC in completely blatant way on: January 23, 2021, 11:23:54 PM
that is true actually what you write, but many sites are doing this.
Wars are justified: many countries do this.

Whataboutism is not relevant to the topic as we are discussing Adkinsbet. If you have a problem with another site, take it up with them in another topic. Don't derail this one.
Should casinos be allowed to change their ToS whenever they want without telling players or without their permission?
360  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM!!! AdkinsBet scammed me for amount of 196 mBTC in completely blatant way on: January 23, 2021, 11:17:04 PM
It's a peculiar thing when it comes to ToS changes.
-snip-
Oh, but there's more: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5309454.msg56101203#msg56101203
The image damage clause wasn't added until afterwards. Plenty of things were removed or changed which are even more strange.

I'm not a fan of the whole "if it's in ToS then it's OK" attitude that a lot of forum members seem to have. Such a framework lets casinos get away with so much and you have an unbelievable amount of oversight.
