from the website

The no bullshit, no fine print terms of sale

We Accept Bitcoin Only – Bitcoin allow us to collect large sum of assets in a short period of time, and due their nature the bitcoins can also be move to where they are suppose to go in a similar time frame. We are aware this will introduce Import issues for certain EU and SA countries. Avalon ASIC hope re-sellers will take this opportunity to grow and take care of this problem.

No Refunds - The Avalon units are made on a built-to-order basis. This means when you place an order, your bitcoins are used to order parts to construct your Avalon Unit. Refunds therefore are impossible. Utilizing a short time frame, batch based, and built-to-order method allows to manage finances properly and reduce risk for all parties. e.g. Avalon ASIC, the re-sellers and the buyers.

Trade-Ins - Avalon will continue to honor our old customers providing trade-in programs of old generations units, FPGA, and in the future for first generation ASIC modules. The Trade-In Orders are not part of the 600 unit limitation existing in Batch #2.

Im sure im not the only one confused about the exact meaning of the bolded as the OP says you will accept in this batch#2 preorder.
this overtime term of sale smells like fine print c'mon. Im considering buying one or two and I hope you sell everthing but just say something and stick with that, changing rules in the last minute doesnt help.
1382  Local / 中文 (Chinese) / anyone here in China wants avalon batch2? on: February 02, 2013, 05:53:40 AM
Anyone in China wants avalon?
I have some FPGA that can get you a discount if you do.

like said here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=139704.0
and here:

the fpgas are all in China, so very LOW shipping costs if you want one.

1384  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 12 BTC - Discounted Icarus FPGA [UPGRADABLE to Avalon ASIC] on: February 02, 2013, 05:02:39 AM
hi there pal, are you interested in one of these?

the product is that, everyone should know what to do.
what else can I say about them? they consume 18~20watts.
1385  Bitcoin / Hardware / [sold out]discount on Avalon ASIC on: February 02, 2013, 04:57:15 AM
sold out

Like many others I still own some FPGA
26  units all of them latest batch and running 380MHash bitstream.
That makes 10.200ghash. Super stable. But this race requires faster running shoes, I chose ASICS.

Have one of these and in the future(almost now, NOW) you can trade-in for Avalon
as stated in the following topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=139704.0

Im asking 12 BTC each.

In the past, two forum users bought three of these boards from me. Maybe they will stand up in this topic confirming the good shipping and smooth transaction.

What Im doing here is gathering more costumers to buy ASIC . Ill have a good conversation with everyone interested.

So, those who want to buy Avalon come and talk to me in private. Im waiting you.

also avaiable: a 703n wifi router from TPlink, three 13-port hubs, two 650w PSU.
1386  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Aplicativo para Android desenvolvido por Brasileiro. on: January 31, 2013, 04:45:35 PM
PARABENS!! Realmente é um otimo programa!! Smiley

Sem querer misturar as coisas...MAS... Falando de programas para Android que sejam sobre bitcoin...Olha esse:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgdroid&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5jZ2Ryb2lkIl0.

aliás, aqui a primeira asic: http://garzikrants.blogspot.com/
1387  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AVALON ASIC has delivered first RIG (68GH/s Confirmed) on: January 31, 2013, 12:01:40 PM
yes it applies.
1388  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Avalon ASIC] Batch #2 pre-Sale Thread on: January 31, 2013, 11:02:56 AM
But for this batch #2 it will be:

"Trade-ins - The original trade-in program mentioned will be honored here, $200 for Iracus, $300 for Lancelot."

see OP

 Huh

wow

My question here to Avalon team: are you going to honor what you have said in the past HERE
Quote
Trade-Ins. Avalon believes in continuing the trust that have build up with our old customers. Reinstating our policy of $300 per Icarus, $400 per Lancelot, limited one FPGA trade-in per ASIC unit. The trade-in program will continue to be available and will apply to 1st-gen Avalons when the time comes.
and what is written on the webiste http://launch.avalon-asics.com/#prices or you just keep changing the history and provide this illusory discount trade-in program?
1389  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Avalon ASIC] Batch #2 pre-Sale Thread on: January 31, 2013, 10:46:46 AM
can we believe the numbers here?

http://launch.avalon-asics.com/#prices

I saw this once was 399/499 and now is this:

ICA 299 / Lancelot 399

It was 300 and 400

on that site was 399/499 a week ago, I saw when It was first posted on the "AVALON ships" thread, but of course now only the webmaster can confirm that.

1393  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Ships on: January 28, 2013, 08:48:23 PM

I wish that picture had something else next to it so I could get an idea as to how big it actually is.

Power connectors tend to be the same size wherever you are, so you can extrapolate from there.

You don't know how big a standard computer ATX power supply is?

the case is BIG - I would say  16cm height - 40 width - 50 length
taking 120mm each fan plus the PSU back(10x14cm)

thats it, now you all can start making the cabinets Cheesy

and looks like thats an antec 650w PSU
1394  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Ships on: January 28, 2013, 08:21:23 PM
My crazy "Chinese Government takes interest and confiscates everything" theory becomes less and less crazy. If the government did step in, it wouldn't be a surprise we don't hear anything from them anymore. Them "checking in" could just be government official who is reading the boards to find out what we know.

cue the music.....

LOLLLL

1396  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Como fazer render bitcoins? on: January 28, 2013, 08:11:49 AM

https://www.mercadobitcoin.com.br

Obs:  O que você queria comprar? (curiosidade)

se ele nao disse no topico, eu evitaria perguntar isso Grin

Victor, vc pode comprar direto de alguem que esteja disposto a vender, ou numa das "exchanges" pelo mundo
1398  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 GH] Ozcoin Pooled Mining |DGM 1%|PoT 2%|PPS 3%|Stratum+VarDiff port 80 on: January 24, 2013, 09:04:32 AM
hello everyone, simple question:

217550   2013-01-22 09:54:50   25.13950000   xxxxx 392,985   13.36869480   0.00003402   0.22%   Completed
217546   2013-01-22 09:29:56   25.00280000   xxxxx 62,576   14.81920884   0.00023682   0.21%   Completed

block prize(bold) should be 25, is this an example of the POT cut that goes to the block founder?

The pools payout per block varies on DGM there is no "should be 25" as it varies from round to round depending also on shares in previous rounds, you have chosen 2 particularly short rounds as examples
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=39497.msg481864#msg481864 is an explanation of how DGM works Smiley

you will also notice we have added some new columns, these will show DGM, PPS and POT payouts and totalled to show how much the pool is actually paying per block as the DGM stats are somewhat skewed by PPS and POT payouts currently.

there is no "POT cut that goes to the block founder" as block finders can be on any of the 3 payout methods. The pool does have to payout to POT and PPS miners as well as DGM miners Smiley

I want to put "should be around 25"

but looks like I am completely wrong about the workings of the pool
 thanks for your kind answer
