Natus Vincere must really be trolling. I was really surprised to see them losing to FORZE there. They lost two maps in a row on Ancient and Inferno which brought their end by 2-1. s1mple had a really great day actually. Especially on Overpass he made a big impact with 32 kills. He was at top on the other maps as well but this wasn't still enough for the team to make it to the victory.

Astralis are a more challenging team to beat for Natus Vincere on paper. But we shouldn't forget another thing that Astralis lost to Spirit by 2-0 before coming to lower bracket. Besides it has been a long time since Astralis and Natus Vincere played against each other the last time. It feels like Natus Vincere will beat them by 2-1 in s1mple's lead.

I don't think NaVi is trolling. NaVi's substitutions were very wrong. Even though S1mple played well on all maps, it was not enough for the team to win. S1mple is limited in what he can do as well. After all, this is a team game, not an individual game. NaVi team needs a good igl player.this is not something that can happen with npl and electronic.the team already has high fire power but there is no one to manage the team.I don't know if S1mple igl's occasionally in the game, but even if he does, he is definitely not useful.

At that time SEA isn't really playing for global competition that is why most playstyles they had are behind the meta or sometimes they're making their own meta. Even until now the meme still exist about SEA as a cancerous server, but it's not that they don't play like pros but because of their unusual builds.

Let's separate the actual competitive teams in SEA and the actual SEA server in pubs. They're two completely things and what's most with the SEA competitive teams these days, they're now with mixed players from other regions that have been competitive.

I'm rooting for the Old G coz I want to see them on the group stage again hopefully they wont choke again like any other times they did during qualifiers.  I remembered during an interview from the last year's TI when topson said it was different when he was playing with Ceb and BigDaddy compared to T1 coz he was comfortable having someone taking the command while on his new roster there was nobody who would step up to the plate. Regardless they have a good run last year, I wanna see topson back in action again with his unorthodox builds.

We all have the idea why it's fun to watch players like CEB and Topson being on the same team again. Although this is no longer the OG that we used to see, it's still giving us excitement to watch them go back in the scene and make their way to division 1 and compete against with other teams. Their roster is completely strong and optimistic with their potential.

As for Topson's concern, while both him and ana played for a SEA. That was truly a different experience on them because the intimidation is there, Kuku won't give that command to them as they're two time TI champs and it should be the both of them or at least Topson that should be giving the command then since ana is like a shy-type boy.

However, it made me realize that these two, Topson and ana, really gives that credit to whoever is captaining them and that's why Topson said that it was a good experience but yeah still far from the team play that he used to be.

Koreans are not the best players but they certainly excel in the coaching position. They lend insights and strategies that not a lot of teams and coaches in the West can provide, possibly due to their roots in SC2 and other MOBA/RTS. The remnants of the MVP team are the only ones remaining in competitive Dota if I'm not mistaken, and others such as Febby still pursued playing Dota but only as a streamer.

Hoping that NGX finds success with the new coach in the roster, and hope that they have fixed whatever internal issues they may have leading to them placing badly on a lot of the more recent tournaments they're in.

It's true that Korean players are really good at strategizing and they've been recognized worldwide. The past-MVP rosters have been put most of them into coaching positions and that's why they're in demand because of the success that they contribute to the teams that they've been with.

There's still dubu that's playing for Bleed Esports which is on SEA region but prior to that, he played for NA with the team, TSM.

As for NGX's first match, they've lost 1-2 against Entity. Yet, more games to come.

Esl pro league matches will resume tomorrow. There is not much to enjoy between the first matches in group d. The toughest challenge seems to be spirit-Astralis. I expect Natus Vincere to get a comfortable win against forze. Simple and his team have been out of form lately, but they are a team that will be easier to recover. Now they need to show success in tournaments. They have a good roster and this shouldn't be a tough challenge for them.
Liquid-Rare atom will also be an easy match for liquid. Liquid is at a good level right now and their opponent is a team in form. But there is a difference between them. Their opponent is better in terms of map winning percentages, but there is no team that can achieve proper success in that region. Therefore, even if it is difficult, liquid will win the match.

Yeah, the opening matches in EPL group are usually quite boring and one-sided. But the Spirit vs. Astralis game might actually be close. Their performance against Liquid, a tier 1 team, on IEM Katowice was decent. So I think they could also give Astralis a close match here. I'll probably only going to bet on that game and skip the rest.

I can say Astralis had a terrible performance. I don't understand how they managed to play so badly especially on the anubis map they chose.You chose the map but you play so badly.Then why did you study this map or why did you choose it?
Astralis roster is not as strong as it used to be and it's sad for the fans.Device is back in the roster, but it's not an individual game.The team is not doing well despite having a player with strong aime like BlameF.Gla1ve and xyp9x are far from their old performances. Not to mention the young player buzz who is also very bad.

For my bet of the day i've gone with a multi that's barely above 2.01 as I think the Liquid vs OG series might go the distance. Gaimin Gladiators should take down Ooredoo Thunders with ease since Monaspa had no problems taking them down 2-0 during the first day. Entity vs Team Nigma might be a close series when there are rumors that ATF could be moving to the offlane position but I don't think that'll be enough when Entity looked great during the Lima major.

There might be something wrong with the current roster of OG because they have not won a map yet. It is 1-0 right now between Liquid and OG but Liquid is already 6K ahead of OG on the second map. It looks like OG will be 0-2 in standing this early in WEU. Given they had face strong opponents (Tundra and Liquid), I never thought they could not take the matches to a distance.

Gaimin Gladiators lost to Ooredoo Thunders, 2-1. I was not able to watch the game so now I am intrigued with OOredoo because GG is not an easy opponent but they defeated them. GG easily defeated team Liquid which speaks a lot to ooredoo defeating GG.

What a match day indeed! It was crazy to see 3 out of 4 matches go to the underdogs. I mean, who would've thought Liquid would lose 2-0 to Rare Atom? I've never even heard of that team before, but I gotta give them props for taking down a strong team like Liquid. With that said, I'm really excited for the second day of matches. I'm definitely gonna bet on Rare Atom, since they impressed me so much in their last match against Liquid. And with the odds still against them (2.7), it's even more tempting. As for the NaVi vs Astralis match, I'm sticking with my favorite team and betting on NaVi. I hope they don't fall into the last-chance bracket

Yeah, I totally agree with you on this one. NaVi really needs a dedicated IGL to help them get back to their previous level. I'm not sure if it's still in the table, but I think bringing Boombl4 back would be a great move for the team.

I don't know if Boombl4 will come back, but there was a time when the transfer of Cloud9 player Hobb1t was on the agenda.if there is still such a thing, I think it will make a big difference if he is transferred.they have more or less the same language and I don't think they will have any problems with the agreement. The lack of IGL in the team is obvious. I think this is the only reason why the team with such a high firepower is constantly failing.A team with players like s1mple,b1t and electronic should not still be unsuccessful. it makes no sense to me, even though they have built such a good roster.NaVi should be 1st or 2nd in all tournaments now with this roster.

OG is going through some very troublesome games. Team Liquid and Tundra Esports didn't even win a map in their match. I watched the Liquid match, especially in the game they picked Furion, Liquid was extremely finishing. Furion cast gold all over the map and they finished the game right away.

In the first match of the day, we watched spirit-forze. Forze seemed to be the more advantageous team because they beat a team like navi. The winner was the forze team. Forze won 16-8 with a nice ct performance on the mirage map of their choice. The second map was the anubis map chosen by spirit. Spirit, who played well in the ct part, won this map and remained to the last map. The last map was ancient and forze beat it 16-4 with a perfect game and became the team that took the first spot.
In the second match of the day, we watched the ence-rare atom fight. Rare atom cannot actually be ence's rival. So they are not a strong team. We also saw this during the match. Ence won 2-0 and became the team that took the other slot.

It was a very crazy day, people are still under its influence. I watched some of the matches, but I may be a little late to write. To say something about the Forze-Navi match. S1mple tried to beat Forze alone but failed. Has anyone seen the Awm wall hits on the Overpass map, it's like Wall hack finished all their opponents. The team certainly can't keep up with the sharpness of S1mple. I'm waiting for them to go to another substitution in the near future.

After Nertz joined the team, it is obvious that they have experienced a rise.When I look at the roster of the two teams now, the more experienced names are on the Ence side and I think they are better as a team.Forze beat NaVi because he had a little luck, otherwise I didn't expect him to come this far.I think Ence will win 2-1.Now their firepower has increased even more after the arrival of Nertz. It must be said that they are a good squad. Forze has a tough job.

OT won against the strong team of Gaimin Gladiators which is considered in this meta as a formidable team. Can't say that it was just luck because it happened in a series that needs two wins.

It's obvious that they haven't really played much as a team for long. Yuragi is also in a pretty terrible shape given how bad he plays and how many times he needed help even though the situation could have been avoided. Give it a few more games and I'm pretty sure OG will figure something out. They're up against Ooredoo Thunders and I think they could win on this matchup, provided that they catch that synergy and start rolling the ball before the enemy starts doing their own thing. Pretty sure Chu can do his magic and win with the boys.

With the match of OG versus Liquid this match already in favor with the team liquid because of the puck rotation and the Natures prophet presence. Once the puck already 6 they manage to roam and hunt every time they have ult and seek for the MK even the MK can't kill their support. For the minute of 20 minutes they manage to conquer the game already because of the MKs not capability to clash. During this time they get the Aegis asap and make the 2 rax

In the second game tusk and Morp combo can make the game snowball, I don't know why they keep using the Invoker hammer combo because of topsons pub game.

My view is similar to what the odds are atm and would give a small edge to OG since they have the experience while Ooredoo Thunders have the surprise and momentum factor after their huge win against Gaimin Gladiators.

When it comes to betting i'd skip but my prediction would be 2-1 OG, the over 2.5 might be an okay bet but i'd prefer to go on Tundra -1.5 @1.85 against Team Nigma.

I'd also go with Forze for this upper-bracket final match. It's hard to discount their achievements in this group so far, as they've beaten NaVi and Spirit in BO3s. Additionally, I think that Forze has better map stats compared to ENCE, which gives them an edge in this match-up.

Since Ence is a more experienced team in these tournaments, I might take this risk and bet on Ence. After Nertz arrived, there was a noticeable performance improvement. Forze is not such an experienced team. Nertz brought excitement to the team. He has a good aime and I think he will carry the ence team upwards. It is an important development for him that he chose ence to save himself. He will make good use of it. I haven't checked the odds but I want to bet on ence.

It's obvious that they haven't really played much as a team for long. I’m wondering what kind of magic Chu can do to overcome their Division giant. Pretty sure they can have a game against a division 2 team but the problem was OG didn’t catch up anymore on the meta compared to other team like Liquid, Tundra and GG. OG was left behind without an impressive supports. Most of the strongest team in their division has a reliable supports which they can give space to their carry to farm their item without the need to respond.

Reliable supports is what lacking on OG. OG has a complete roster, it’s just other team has an impressive roster that’s why they looks like Division 2 team now that always being outplayed and outdraft in every match.
