I don't know what amount I need but I am going to help the Earthquake Victims Of My Country With the Bitcoins! I already donated 0.155BTC to a group of volunteers working at Gorkha! Now I have no BTC's left! That 0.15 BTC were all earnings from signature campaigns and help from Jake! I can post pictures after the money has been received and relief materials has been bought with the bitcoins! I still didn't clearly get this thread! As far as I understand, I think this thread is for helping for good! If I am wrong, please feel free to delete my post!
BTC address: 12eZVGQXywuY1S42xXDojpJ9j1R52gSvLN

I won't make any comment about Lil Boosie because no one is perfect, but he is product of and reflects on the Deep South culture.

I did not understand that until I heard the music Smiley

lol! I was just going through my old tweets today too from two or so years ago and I remember one that said "lil boosie sucks". I stand corrected, Little Boosie is AWESOME!!

We are always loving our (re)birth place.

With another 5, I would like to see if Shelby Henry Moore III can find a better use for it than how it is now.

I'll be here waiting Smiley

648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 30, 2015, 05:12:24 PM
I'm under the assumption we ain't seen nothing yet. 42 btc might look like a lot of money now, though on a global scale it's the tiniest drop. Note that xmr doesn't have to live up to its full promise to be incredibly profitable when bought at 0.00165. It has only just begun.

If only the tiniest percentage of people believe in the tiniest chance for monero to be able to fly we're gonna be well over 10$ a coin. That actually makes al the selling and shorting remarks at these levels quite amusing actually.

What is an ocean, but a multitude of drops?

Welcome to the Age of Aquarius, my friend Smiley

Take it for what you will, I have an order for 42 BTC at .00165BTC/XMR.

who the hell are you people with this kind of money to play with in cryptoworkd? Blows my mind the $$ that gets thrown around here.

This. I don't know anything about volkain's situation but speaking generally if you've been around since 2012 or earlier and have avoided being scammed too much, or screwing up badly on risk management, you've probably done pretty well in crypto. That of course is independent of however else you might make your money. Obviously many people are here as investors who ware well off already, or professionals with good incomes (or both).

I'm glad you're all getting to know me Smiley

Just to clarify, see bold above. Was not intended to describe you necessarily. There are all sorts of individual stories here.

It's all an oldddd story...

I really feel for this community in the same ways I do for the human beans that help build Ubuntu, etc.

Thank you (again) Smiley
After reading this post, I stumbled upon a French text (English version) which blew my mind regarding how great ubuntu (the philosophical notion) is.

I like this one too http://www.harisingh.com/UbuntuAge.htm

I think that the members of the Dash community need to start a fund to promote the mental health of the Monero community. Clearly, the fact that our coin is worth 6x as much as theirs must be causing some serious mental issues.

In particular, I'm concerned about Smooth. Once he made real contributions to Monero, wrote actual code. Now, he's just a shell of his former self. Instead of doing something meaningful, he pursues a rather quixotic quest; disparaging Dash. Righting all the wrongs, all of Duffield's terrible deeds. Megalomaniac delusions of Dash's destruction must dance around in his head every time he makes a post. Without intervention, his rants will give way to delirious ravings.

Smooth, this is that intervention. But for us to help you, you've got to be willing to help yourself.

That'd be awfully nice of you all Smiley

vokain, here is iCEBREAKER using you to attack me, honestly please let everyone know how you feel about that, obviously I see him for the toxic cunt that he is, but as you are basically pro monero and anti DASH I would be interested to see if you condoned his poisonous hate campaign or dissociate yourself from such blatant fuckery as what he is trying to do is not about the coins or their merits at all it's just pure shit stiring and worse.

I've always considered you a friend. I also cannot question The Good Word.

P.S.:IceBreaker has always been on my side, though I didn't see that at first

How do you feel about Otoh posting the screenshot of his XMR rage-dump here, and then crying about being "attacked" when his flamebait gets a negative response?

I thought that was pretty funny.

Good Smiley

Who looks toxic hate filled here?

just calling it out as it is, myself I'm unmoved, it's nasty shit but really not my problem, especially not any more, vokain may not like being dragged in to pillorying me though as I actually consider him a friend and hope that he does me too.

Otoh, you saved me from a pyramid scheme and I've been eternally grateful for that.

Otoh, did you dump because you are afraid your association with Monero might accelerate DASH's price decline?
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency - 0.8.8.6 on: April 29, 2015, 12:19:05 AM
Otoh this is making you look bad, and I took your original post about your dump as a buy signal for XMR and am still buying.

GLWT dood, lets all win here, if you gain from my dump then I'm happy for you, I dumped because that made sense for me as I could only see this Monero price and project going down from here as things stand, it has - at least short term, but whatever, btw 'look bad' um I'm not in any beauty contest here btw, or even popularity ftm.

Focus on the (+) Smiley

I've been a large and long term holder of Monero up until this week, approx this time last year my XMR holdings were worth $60,000 and I've sold none until now, why did I decide to sell - because I took a good long look at the coin, it's development and potential as far as I could see it and decided that it was no longer something that I wished to support.

Why did I take a fresh look at it, because among other coins that I back is DASH and on the BCT DASH thread there is constant trolling by Monero fans and the dev smooth, just check how many posts he's made there today alone, dozens and dozens and dozens, why is this happening - I assume to make the thread unreadable and spread FUD, well it does this but it also creates a very poor image of crypto in general and Monero in particular, it is going out of one's way to try and antagonize everyone who sees it.

So I am no longer prepared to back a coin that has a main dev act in such a toxic way, I now no longer own any and do not plan to in the future, those remaining I wish you well with it but my decision to sell three days ago was primarily a business one, I do not see a bright future for this coin as things are atm I'm sorry to say.

Otoh, it was me mostly whose orders you sold into. I earnestly think that smooth and everyone here, while sometimes perceived as vitriolic, only have the best of intentions behind the message they have.

Best,
Antony
