Might anyone know why I'm getting these errors in MyMonero?

"Not enough spendable outputs / balance too low (have: [xx] need: [yy])"

"Failed to create transaction: Wrong number of mix outs provided ([m] outputs, [n] mix outs)"

are you getting it consistently? try changing the amount a little bit.

Have been trying varying amounts and just tried a smaller transaction to receive this:
"Something unexpected occurred when submitting your transaction: Invalid transaction"

It's not because I see at least some potential in Monero that I dislike Litecoin, it's that way before Monero ever was even conceived I noticed that Litecoin offered nothing meaningful over Bitcoin aside from experiment and speculative venue. Philosophically, nothing is different with Litecoin over Bitcoin that Bitcoin doesn't already do well. The story with Monero is different because Bitcoin, when I first learned about Bitcoin, was considered anonymous (enough) but really, it's the most transparent method of ledgering.

Nietzsche's point that the highest ideal of Christianity is the destruction of most of mankind  - -

- - only shows how mistaken he is regarding Christianity.

The highest ideal of Christianity is that God became man to make man God.

Haven't heard it this way before. Very poetic, good sir.

"Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on Earth, as it is in Heaven"
"As above, so below"
The six pointed star (interlaced triangles pointing up and down) represents this ideal too.

Why, vokain, that almost sounds like Emmet Fox.  Bravo.

As above, so below.

But, all of this has to come from WITHIN.  Let those who do not believe do so in peace.  And it's even better to pray for them.  And that has a double-good effect.

Apparently your prayers worked! I've decided I'm going to worship the Greek Gods! My logic being that many are better than one, always go with an original, I like the idea of Gods who actively (physically manifest) take part in your life for better or for worse, and i believe the adoption of a foreign god is what has led to the current problems in Greece--if they'd go back to their roots, the Gods would set the world right again and the Greeks would return to dominance. May Zeus bless you all for showing me the light!

Now, does anyone want to join my campaign to move books on Zeus away from the mythology section and back to the religious section? I'll be taking donations, of course. 10% of your weekly income is prescribed to get the maximum benefit from the Gods.

You kind of receive the God that You allow to Be. The Greek gods have their own, maybe given, maybe earned (the immortalized mortal-born, which is a powerful ideal for all of us) domains of godliness, but they're, separately, not all encompassing. I think that's where the split from paganism and monotheistic Abrahamic religions arose. The Qabalah is a good lens to conceptualize God in Its different degrees.

Edit: OROBTC, thank you for the Emmet Fox suggestion, just started The Sermon on the Mount yesterday:)

Any conception of god that depends on a trickster god (lucifer, satan, devil) isn't all encompassing. Maybe what jung was talking about when he said the evolution of man was determinant on incorporating your shadow self instead of badgering it with morals and dogma (I'm adding my own spin to make it more obvious--of course). Once you lose the idea of a permanent right and wrong and accept humanity for what it is, evolving hopefully, you stop trying to will it towards an impossible ideal (god ideal jammed against an impossible--but sadly more realistic due to the slant being too big towards godism--devil ideal) and start willing it towards what it actually can become.  I want a reality based on reality, so any system that starts "In The Beginning...." with a humanoid as omniscient and omnipresent is a deal-breaker for me. Now if you want to develop artificial systems to help men to come closer to the possibility of that ideal, then i'm all ears. The Wright brothers didn't fly because god gave them wings, they flew because they understood  how to assemble the tools to get off the ground and dismissed the idea of "If god wanted us to fly, he would have given us wings." If mankind wants godlike knowledge and to live unbounded lifespans, more than a few men will need to put down the Bible and start developing towards a singularity that lets man become the AI.

"The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird flies to God. That God's name is Abraxas."

"It has been called “The Blob,” a gigantic patch of abnormally warm water sitting in the Northeast Pacific Ocean for months. And now, The Blob may have helped midwife a record-breaking bloom of algae stretching from Southern California all the way north to Alaska." http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/imageo/2015/08/06/record-algae-bloom-laced-with-toxins-is-flourishing-in-the-blob/#.VeNKO8PEYlo

What they don't tell you is that radiation from Fukushima is what's incubating this sucker.

Thanks for the link. I really would not want to be living in California. They're telling them they can have a 9.2 earthquake at any time, and they got fukushima radiation floating towards them, which is getting into their fish... yuck.

"When north coast fishermen set their nets on June 9 in anticipation of a good fishing season, they got more than they bargained for – and less. Along with Nass River sockeye, their nets pulled up thick blankets of slime. It was originally thought to be marine algae, but the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) has determined the slime to be a “goo” of  phytoplankton. It’s believed to have been caused by unusually warm ocean temperatures in the northern Pacific Ocean."

This radiation fulled Japanese monster is already attacking the coastline.

Kind of a nice symmetrical karmic dynamic to this

I think one source might be also some hard core bitcoiners starting accumulating Monero.
They are not publishing it to drive the price up but I assume they have realized btc is not going to 1000 usd each any time soon or even never again. Bitcoin was a good investment for those who invested into it in 2011-2012 but not so good anymore.

BTC will definitely reach $1000 usd at some point in the future. The Block Reward halving guarantees it.

You seem so sure.

The original public ledger is worth a trillion dollars at least, in the end game.  I can't imagine a situation where crypto reigns and the longest running ledger in our species doesn't carry some large value.

That doesn't mean that it will be the *most* valuable, only that its value should be pretty secure over time.

I would actually not be surprised if Monero eventually overtook Bitcoin, and possibly another currency even overtook Monero.

There are multiple possible end games.

Edit: It has come to my attention some people think these stories and articles are meant to create fear. That is not the case at all. With faith in Jesus Christ there is no fear.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. 19We love, because He first loved us

What is written in this thread is just a bunch of stories or thoughts about things that may point to bible revelation prophecies or passages or other signs of the times.

So I stumbled onto something yesterday on youtube. I thought it was very interesting, because in the past people have tried to predict when the rapture will be and when the end of days will be, and have said the end of the world will be in the year 2000! And then...

We survived Dec 2012, I think the Human race has at least a few more decades left.
If I had one BTC for every Rapture/Revelation Prophecy since 1980 then there would be almost no Bitcoins left for anyone else.  Cheesy

2012 was just the end of one super-cycle of the Mayan calendar system into the beginning of another.

Official Notice

The Mausoleum of the Marquess of Arda constructed; the Estate wants to be dissolved

The first man to die in the Kingdom, the Marquess of Arda, has been buried to his beloved haw, near the Botanical Gardens. The mausoleum is aboveground, quite small and simple in appearance.

The Marquess' Estate has held many auctions in the past and the proceeds have been given to the Monero developers according to his spoken will. Yet there still remains a very large hoard of 10 kilos of gold and other valuables, almost 10,000 mil in total. We would give the Estate to the complete control of Monero developers to do what they wish with the remaining funds. (It has to be noted that this donation is larger than anything recorded in the cAPSLOCK XMR HoF.)

Please appoint the manager for the Estate.

Then you're doing an injustice to people with many of these posts by causing people to turn to God out of fear rather than through love of God and all God's Creation.

How did Jesus teach salvation?

Now might be the time for me to observe that I cannot find this kind of thinking at any other forum I belong to (Zero Hedge and PMBug).  High caliber thinking about world financial topics on a Bitcoin website.  Bitcoin must have a "High IQ" set of users and fan base...

Many of us have convinced everybody we're geniuses. I assure you; this is a trick. We're just egotistical fools but we're very good at manipulating people. That's all.

A bit more on the optimistic side...
http://soulspottv.com/blog/a-powerful-gamma-wave-set-to-hit-the-earth-in-september-find-out-why-that-is-a-good-thing/

I refuse to accept anything other than The Good Word Smiley

"We have been hearing so much about the bad things that are predicted to happen this September.  From government plots, aliens, to an asteroid.  But what does all of this fear bring us?  Well, honestly, it brings us a lot more of what we don’t want.
Many people, including Bashar, have told us that we each live in slightly different realities and are co-creating larger agreed upon realities all the time.  In fact, he says that if we fear that something might happened it is because we believe it is extremely likely.  This unfortunately gives away our power, not only to enjoy this moment but it adds power to what may or may not happen in the future."

Welcome to Paradise, ladies and gents.
479  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: August 16, 2015, 04:43:43 PM

But if the old ledger will not preserve the XT ledger perfectly, what happens if suddenly the 75% drops 25% or otherwise? Why 75%?

Its not a moving target. Its a change point. If you want to change back, for whatever reason, you start a new process to get the network to follow you.

I see now. Thank you. Also just read about the 1000 blocks conditional.
480  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: August 16, 2015, 04:14:20 PM

I was ignorant of the 75% thing until last night.
Now I wonder, pools are fickle. If 75% is achieved and bigger blocks start being validated, what could happen if 75% goes back down for whatever reason? I don't know enough technically to articulate this too well, but maybe there's something there.

Edit: just read about the 1000 blocks condition
