On SILK price again, just keep on pumping it until you end up dumped onto by people who mined this coin early and got it at almost no cost. Put even more money into coin that is "secured" by a mere 10% of total staking weight ( https://chainz.cryptoid.info/silk/#!extraction ), has a "massive" difficulty at around 0.002 and is 51% attack-at-will ready by a dozen of people who have not just a huge amount of coins but also staking weight due to not staking for as long as 286 days ( https://chainz.cryptoid.info/silk/#!rich ) which practially means they can generate enough blocks in a row to overwritte possibly thousands of already generated blocks, all easily provable by just one address that holds under 350,000 coins ( https://chainz.cryptoid.info/silk/address.dws?BGBFhw84VK5mk6iePMWYg4fasognpTUxEo.htm notice 8 blocks generated in a row very recently and keep in mind Poloniex and Cryptsy require just 6 confirmations).

So yes, go buy more SILK, stupid.

dat 11 btc wall on polo at 1350  Shocked

It makes perfect sense to sell now, especially if one bought at low prices few months back. Community is almost non-existing or uninterested in helping even a bit. Check https://coinomat.com/coinvoting.php there are 26 votes and 21 are mine (a newcomer to XCR with 10,000 coins total so yes, you people, especially you idiots with up to or over 1 million coins, ohh you really suck balls!) and check forum inactivity both here and at official forum. Trade volumes at exchanges are very low. Cryptsy is out of order for months and who knows how long it will take for them to fix their XCR wallet. No important changes to official wallet except a mere make-up, nice looking GUI and that's it for the next few months. Hardly anyone gives a damn about newest delegates, people have put time, money and effort into running full nodes and they got what in return, a few % of total votes?

Pathetic shitards, why the fuck have I joined you really? Must be a few beers and Vodka some days ago, yes, now I recalled doing stupid shits on exchanges back then.

This is my last post at this thread, bye.

It is probably a good idea to move somewhere else for a day or two, just in case.

Venus and Mercury lined up together couldn't affect the earth's oceans in any significant way.

There is a chance you could be hit by a meteor you know - it could be a good idea to wear a helmet all the time, just in case.   Wink

Wearing a helmet won't save you from meteor, if it reaches you it will kill you but not staying around Sant Andreas fault line at mentioned date might actualy save your life. As for the planets, you are definitely clueless and underestimate their effect on everything.

Start using decentralized communication solutions. Plenty of altcoins have some sort of plain text or even encrypted messaging.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 20mb block increase = 20 times more transactions possible? on: May 27, 2015, 12:58:10 PM
1 block up to 20MB in size every 10 minutes on average is cool but it could be a dissaster if couple of such blocks are generated just few seconds appart by the same miner or miners that agreed on longest chain. It also does nothing in terms of speeding up the process of transaction confirmations, waiting over an hour for 1st confirm would still occur so how about 5 blocks up to 4MB in size every 2 minutes on average? Makes perfect sense to me but feel free to debate, I might be missing something with this whole deal.
Having blocks come quicker provides no advantage over 10min blocks. Why?

The same hashing power; faster blocks means more orphans and if we had 1 block every minute, we would have 10x less security from a double spending attack. Right now a doublespend would take ~ 2 hours, if 50% hashpower was used. (actually i'm probably wrong, its longer)

Now if we reduce blocks to 1 minute blocks it will take far less power to doublespend and a quicker time.

Basically, faster blocks will be less secure, cause more orphans and pretty much just bloat the blockchain. So yes, you are missing something. Smiley

An attacker with 51% or more hashpower will own the network regardless of block time. If we drop block time to 1 minute that same attacker would still need 51% or more hashpower to successfuly double spend. The only way to "protect" from double spends is to wait certain period of time, not number of new blocks added to blockchain. If I wait 1 day and only then send you whatever you bought from me it is almost impossible you'll double spend on me, block times can be 1 second or 1+ hour.

The same goes for orphans, it makes no difference how many of them will be created if you wait long enough. I think you are underestimating the traffic volume and existing bottlenecks when it comes to moving 20MB blocks around especially if they are spread just seconds appart (not orphans but blocks that add on top of each other). Few such blocks would basically stall any nodes except very fast ones and that does not really work toward more decentralization because over time there would be less people running full nodes.

Vote for Cripti to be added at Coinomat.com https://coinomat.com/coinvoting.php
Coinomat.com offers bank transfers, withdrawals to Visa/Master card, and custom debit card for all the cryptocurrencies on its platform.
On top of that instant exchanges to all supported cryptocurrencies and e-currencies are available.
Crypto to Fiat liquidity can provide a significant boost to Cripti.

Voted, thanks for adding XCR to the list but the name of coin is Crypti, not Cripti.

And hi to Crypti community!  Tongue

Bought 20 votes for just 0.01 BTC, I think that is a very low price for eventual addition of XCR to Coinomat given all the benefits that service offers.

BTW, how long I have to wait (hours, posts, activity) before I can add avatar to my profile here?

Cheers guys!

https://bitnodes.net/node/194-135-94-86/

Blockexplorer soon Smiley

Your node seems to be behind with blockheight, it reports just 60,000 blocks and does not send any data to other nodes. Is it actualy a full node or some cheap node-mimic crap?

On SILK price, it is cool to see it reaching 350 Satoshis but even if it is "an accumulation at any price" it is idiotic to not provide buy support at lower prices afterwards. Few thousands SILK dumped on both Cryptsy and Poloniex can bring price down to 2 digits range. Even a new all-time low is still very possible. To whoever is doing it, you have removed liquidity from sell side but did not added noticable liquidity to buy side, a noobish trade. It is even worse if you already burned all BTC you had for SILK investment.
