1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 24, 2016, 05:15:07 AM
buying altcoin at ICO then sell your altcoin after ICO launch (after price rise) then save your bitcoin and waiting new ICO coiin agan  Cheesy

Not all at ICO list has good experience after lunch. Price rise of some are really really low and you can't even see a profit even an inch. Well other coins get their peak after the rise but in most of the time, it isn't happening.

we must research before invest at ICO coin, like who behind the project, where he opne the ICO, someday i invest at ICO coin and i earn 30%-50% , usually every ICO coin will be pump before dump

1065  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-02-22] Bitcoin Core 0.12.0 Released: What's New? on: February 24, 2016, 05:05:28 AM
Today marks the official release of Bitcoin Core 0.12.0, the twelfth generation of Bitcoin's reference client as first launched by Satoshi Nakamoto seven years ago. Developed by close to 100 contributors over seven months, the latest version of Bitcoin Core includes more than 20 improvements, particularly regarding performance, security and usability.

These are the sixth most notable changes.

Memory Pool Limiting

Memory pools are the collections of unconfirmed transactions as stored individually by all full nodes. Memory pools fill up in between blocks as new transactions are transmitted over the Bitcoin network and are depleted when these transactions are included in blocks. But if a series of subsequent blocks remain full for an extended period – either due to legitimate transactions or spam attacks – memory pools might not deplete completely, and backlogs could build up. With no maximum limit, the backlog might even grow to the point where nodes run out of memory and crash. (This is the “crash landing” scenario former Bitcoin XT lead developer Mike Hearn feared.)

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. is quietly testing technology that underpins the digital currency bitcoin on U.S. dollar transfers between London and Tokyo, part of an effort to boost its spending to deal with emerging threats from Silicon Valley.

The nation's largest bank has been testing the program in recent months to move U.S. dollars for about 2,200 clients between the two financial centers using a version of the "blockchain" technology that underpins bitcoin, said Daniel Pinto, head of J.P. Morgan's corporate and investment bank. The bank wants to see whether the blockchain technology, known as the "distributed ledger," can be repurposed for currency clearing and settlement to give clients faster turnaround times and reduce the bank's risk.

1076  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-02-22]Bitcoin Agreement Promises To Break Impasse, Leads To Jump In Value on: February 22, 2016, 06:37:26 AM
On Friday and Saturday, a group of key players in Bitcoin met in Hong Kong and came to an agreement over some questions that have divided the community for more than a year and caused it to split into factions.

The accord represented a first step in breaking through the impasse, and afterward, the currency, which had been rising over the previous week when the event details had been finalized, reached a value of around $430, a level last seen in mid-January.

It was then hostility over the debate reached critical levels when one of the most prominent developers declared Bitcoin a failure and announced he was quitting it altogether in a widely publicized blog post that coincided with a New York Times article. The currency immediately shed 15% of its value, demonstrating one of the persistent threats to the currency – the issue of governance. The fact that Bitcoin is not controlled by any one entity but by a sprawling group of developers and other economic actors means that it is not always obvious how problems will be resolved or who is responsible for resolving them.

1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: February 21, 2016, 03:08:48 PM
it's not a real money, bitcoin is only "digital money" , i think real money is something where you can use it for "real trading" and you can hold it with "real hand" ......
1078  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-02-21] Bitcoin Buying Service Comparison: Circle vs. Coinbase on: February 21, 2016, 03:07:10 PM
The best way to buy bitcoin is to look for a traders in your city and deal with them face to face, so you will not have to lose any bank or credit transaction fees or reveal your identity to a website
it's not as easy as what you imagine about trade in Bitcoin, in my city it's very hard to find someone interesting about bitcoin, if i found someone who interesting to buy my bitcoin I doubt he will accept "real time  bitcoin price" he will give some fee maybe $5-$10
