741  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-05-11]Bitcoin Price Technical Analysis – Back to Channel Support Again! on: May 11, 2016, 04:49:14 AM
Higher-yielding assets like bitcoin were dragged lower in the earlier trading sessions, as investors priced in the possibility of additional easing measures from several major central banks upon seeing downbeat imports data from China. This pushed bitcoin price lower against the safe-haven US dollar, which happened to be propped up by positive medium-tier reports yesterday.

For now, traders appear to be holding out for bigger market catalysts to see where bitcoin price should head next. There are no major reports lined up from the US economy today while tomorrow has the BOE Super Thursday (monetary policy statement, meeting minutes, and Inflation Report) lined up. A downbeat outlook could weigh on market risk sentiment and push for a downside break for bitcoin.

The next batch of catalysts for the US dollar aren’t due until Friday, and these are the retail sales and PPI reports.

744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: May 11, 2016, 03:07:06 AM
Using multiple wallets is good security practice, but at the very least, part of the coolness of the protocol is the ease of whipping up a new address . Like opening up a bank account, without giving them your life details and blood type. Certain wallets have features that make them more useful for certain tasks (I use mobile wallets for my Sig earnings, for example, because I buy silly stuff/food/speculate  with the funds , and they move around a lot)

security is the basic reason for each people use more bitcoin wallet. im use some wallet, xapo, coinbase, old blockchain, new beta blockchain, mycellium, electrum and of course paperwallet Cheesy

746  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: May 11, 2016, 02:39:05 AM
Motivate women to use bitcoin and learn different earning methods is really a hard task. Only doing things at the right time helps women to enter bitcoin for their needs. Now I believe lot women have started using and earning bitcoin.

i see a lot woman use bitcoin at this time. i see some facebook group for woman discusion about bitcoin, but no more, maybe only 1% of all population in the world using bitcoin
747  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-05-11] Bitcoin is not the answer to central bank worries on: May 11, 2016, 02:15:37 AM
Here's a utopian image (or perhaps dystopian, depending on the point of view) to ponder: Central banks have switched from issuing money in the form of cash to releasing digital currency and registering transactions on a distributed ledger along the lines of the Bitcoin blockchain.

Because it doesn't require much of an upfront investment -- the clearance and transaction recording system is decentralised — the central bank is now able to do something it has never done, namely accept depos ..

748  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 10, 2016, 08:16:35 AM
It depends about how much money you've got. If you have allot of its better to invest then to save your
money. But don't you have so much money its better to save some for a backup you will never know
what the world will bring.

have more money is not enought you must manage it too. you must manage where you can invest your money, where place can give you fair and reasonable interest also trusted place.
749  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: May 10, 2016, 07:55:34 AM
Every one of us here has own it's preferences on how will it going to be used. I would still choose bitcoin because in terms of digital it is now easy to earn just by doing tasks and services unlike gold you need to mine it physically and it's more expensive due to buying and using their hardwares.

bitcoin is easy to spend it, sending, receiving, buying , selling .
i think the digital investment is more secure and high chance to growing .
750  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: May 10, 2016, 07:53:26 AM
Im buying bit coins not just for the fun. I want to invest them into some little upcoming company's or just invest in some gambling sites or maybe i will hold them for a halving.

never thinking to invest at gambling or use your bitcoin for gambling it's very high risk.
i recomended you save/hold your bitcoin until block halving or until bitcoin price reach $500
751  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 10, 2016, 07:35:09 AM

he is writer in newsbtc and other website . i think his life is not booring as you think Smiley
752  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 10, 2016, 06:57:11 AM
There are different types of jobs in which you could squeeze in BTC to go with what you're doing. If you are the type who's fixed on the computer the whole day, might as well find the time to join signature campaigns. If you have some knowledge and funds to burn, get your feet wet in trading. It's always better to just mix both if your schedule allows it.

it's good idea use salary from signature campaign to trading, maybe you can double your bitcoin.

if you want to go full time on bitcoin, i think better you go full time on online earning, so you can get more source, you can get money from youtube, blog adsens etc.

I think signature campaign is not a main 'job' on bitcoin. Yeah, you can earn bitcoins from signature campaign. But i think full time on signature campaign is not worth, better stay on your day job.

agree with you and Im never says you can use signature campaign as mainjob.
this is just option if you want to full time on online earning you must have more source, paypal, payza, adsens etc.
753  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 10, 2016, 06:54:35 AM
It's a good idea though, i also pick both save money and invest money. Just don't go all in on an investment. Spare some for saving, and it would be okay.

Dont you know that saving and investing your money is something that could be done with a same action? If you invest your money, you are actually saving it as well because what you invest in means that thing is yours and it is definitely your money so it is actually a same action though people dont understand it and think it is different

in same case invest and saving is diffirent, if you say saving money, people will thinking you save your money at bank with low interest or sometimes no interest rate, and if you say you invest your money you will send your money to some one to growing it, or you buy gold /bitcoin/silver/diamond etc. then hold it and waiting price rising to sell it and get profit.
754  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: May 10, 2016, 06:48:41 AM
the mothers day is the best opportunity to motivate women to use bitcoin, you can do all sorts of things in this day. you can give them a paper wallet as a gift, just like a gift card which is really money and better than gift cards even. and it would also be like an investment.
nice idea use paper wallet as a gift, but we must introduce it to redem paper wallet, and how to use bitcoin. I am afraid, your mother would tear the paper wallet before you explain it  Cheesy
755  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: May 10, 2016, 06:45:55 AM

it's very posible if you have more "free time" to waste it, better to waste your time to collecting bitcoin than you waste your time to playing game.

playing a game is not wasting time, it is some kind of entertainment as long as you enjoy playing them. but using faucets IS waste of time because it is a meaningless job with extremely low payment while you are putting pressure on your eyes and wasting time and electricity.

Im not gamermaniac, and i hate wasting my money (time is money) at game. for me wasting my time for earning money is better than playing game.

anyway game also consume electricity  Cheesy

Well being a gamer can at least help you in egames gambling. Thus some people can call gaming as hobby, as long you have stable income.

And i agree that its better to waste time earning. As a college student I sometimes online for half a day posting and keeping tracks on altcoins.

My advice is to familiarize yourself in the system, we got altcoins that can also help give money as long as you have the strategy.

Altcoins are so pump/dump on many you could watch all day and if it goes to crap... you still could lose big depending on how much you are invested.  I really tell people to be careful with altcoins to many are just crap.

I would possibly look at Ether due to backing.  But they make bot's even that do investments they are online 24x7 watching coins and you can program... even with these bots you can lose money.  So I don't think amount of time spent online will save you with altcoins.

game is hoby and earning money for life is a job we have to do every day, and if we do it every day we will feel comfortable and begin to make it as a hobby Roll Eyes

in my opinion altcoin created just for double your bitcoin no more
756  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-05-10] Zug first to accept bitcoin for government services on: May 10, 2016, 06:41:08 AM
In a world first, the Swiss town of Zug in central Switzerland will begin accepting the cryptocurrency Bitcoin as payment for government services on a trial basis.

The Zug municipality made the decision at its meeting on May 3 and the pilot project will start from July 1 and continue until the end of 2016. Bitcoin payments up to a value of CHF200 ($205.8 or 0.44 XBT) will be accepted for standard government services.

The authorities claim they want to lead by example in a region that has recently become a hub for the financial technology (Fintech) sector in the country. The self-appointed “crypto valley” of Switzerland hosts around 15 companies specialising in blockchain technology that underpins Bitcoin.

757  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-05-10] Bitcoin Price Technical Analysis – Uptrend Channel Forming on: May 10, 2016, 04:46:05 AM
Downbeat NFP data from the US economy last week spurred a late Friday rally for bitcoin price against the dollar, as the report reminded traders that the Fed isn’t likely to increase interest rates in June. However, downbeat global data appears to have brought risk aversion back to the table and might support the safe-haven dollar against riskier assets like bitcoin.

Over the weekend, China printed a larger trade surplus but the report components showed a 10.9% drop in imports, their 18th consecutive monthly decline. This could spur yet another downturn in commodities, dragging other higher-yielding assets lower in the process.

Later on in the week, US retail sales and PPI figures are due and strong data could keep the dollar supported. On the other hand, another batch of disappointing results could lead investors to prop up bitcoin price.

I brought few of them and invested on cloud mining service, not much just to see how it goin'

You need to be careful while investing in cloud mining, as majority of sites are ponzi which will scama you and giving nothing  in return.
I think not all bitcoin mining sites is a ponzi You can see the characteristics of a Ponzi sites is they only live for a short time may be less than 1 year or younger
but I find hashnet. mining sites that have been living since 2011? looks like they not ponzi site?

buying bitcoin and invest at pure cloudmining (hashnest) is nice tactic, it's better than just hold your bitcoin at paper wallet, you can get some interest from cloudmining and if your contract done , and the bitcoin price rising you get double profit.
