301  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 24, 2016, 09:05:48 AM
It's depend, if you have much money and not use your money, i think it's better to invest it into something. So you can earn profit from there and your money will grow.

i invest my money at ethereum classic, now i need money and the ethereum classic price fail if i sell my etc i lost arround 0.4btc, i think we must save some money too, if we need cash we can use our saving money, and nt touch our investment.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: August 24, 2016, 09:03:37 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

Gold have using value added . that mean for long time will more safe than bitcoin. However, in short-time bitcoin value almost like gold. then people with less money can keep bitcoin for 5 or 10 years

earning bitcoin is more easy and less cost than gold, also the simple bitcoin is more  save to hide it than gold, so for this reason, people will interesting to invest at bitcoin.

304  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: August 24, 2016, 08:39:22 AM
If you want to be rich, then first of all learn how to not only make, but also to spend their money properly. Many people try to spend money they have not earned, to buy things they do not need.

Yeah I agree, in order to get rich you must learn the basic of finance.  Work hard for  it, have self descipline, know how to save money and control yourself on buying unnecessary things.  You must have goal.  Then create  a method on how to achieve your  goal.  Stick to it and stay focus.  Do not waiver when you fail the first time. Continue until you hit your goal.

learning to finance management in first time is good idea, because some people not use finance management then he mixing the interenal money and capital of bussines, after it his bussines failing
305  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-08-24] BItfinex customers offered equity in compensation for bitcoin lost on: August 24, 2016, 07:49:30 AM
Bitfinex customers offered equity in compensation for bitcoin lost in hacking
Customers of bitcoin exchange Bitfinex are being offered equity in the company in compensation for the losses imposed on them following the hacking of the exchange in early August.

Under the deal, customers who were issued BFX tokens following the decision by the company to socialize the losses caused by the hack will be able to use those tokens for equity in iFinex, Inc., the British Virgin Islands-based parent company of Bitfinex.

The management of the equity issue is being handled by bitcoin equity crowdfunding service BnkToTheFuture (Bnk To The Future Ltd.) who will be facilitating the exchange of tokens via a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).

“When clients’ funds are stolen from an exchange that is the size of BitFinex, we need to (where possible) focus on finding good market solutions that can potentially compensate investors faster than traditional proceedings,” BnkToTheFuture Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Simon Dixon said in a statement. “Today we may be able to use new Blockchain assets and financial innovation to produce better and faster solutions for victims.”

306  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-08-23] Fintech will force regulators to update on: August 23, 2016, 09:10:55 AM
THE provision of banking and financial services in SA is a highly regulated activity, but revolutionary financial technology (fintech) poses a significant challenge to the current framework. This was acknowledged by the South African Reserve Bank in a position paper on virtual currencies issued in 2014.

Fintech has the potential to disrupt traditional financial and banking services. Blockchain, a peer-to-peer ledger system in which users record their transactions with each other, cuts out the middleman and the associated cost.

As the traditional provision of financial and banking services becomes increasingly irrelevant and as fintech-based selfservice solutions become more prevalent, can the South African regulatory regime ensure that this happens safely?

308  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: August 23, 2016, 08:58:22 AM
I think that in future bitcoin will be much better than it is now, and because of that, more people will use bitcoins, maybe bitcoin will be even a global currency

agree with you, we can see the history of bitcoin transaction, everyday the bitcoin transaction rising, so we know bitcoin is growing everyday (not in price but in usable of it).
309  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 23, 2016, 08:36:54 AM
if you talking of income outside the domain of bitcoins obvious you need to get a job but if it's on the forum I see loaning out BTC as a way to make you some money

Lending is bit risky as you don't know how genuine is a person you are dealing with, so its better to concentrate on signature campaign and by offering services from where you can expect guaranteed income.

signature campaign is good source to get some income for sidejob, the rate is very acceptable, i can use from signature campaign to paying my electric cost so i get full profit in mining Smiley

but for me campaign can't used as steady income, we must use other way for steady income

Anytime we could lose this income. We better be always ready for that and have looked for more while this job is still existing. We dont want to be idle in some time, that would be sad.

of course we can't use signature campaign as our focus, because we don't know when the campaign will be close, i think having real bussines is better than we focus at 'side job' like signature campaign.
310  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: August 23, 2016, 08:35:43 AM
Whether we like it or not, paper money is still a big part of our lives. That may not be the case 50 or 100 years from now, since technology can really make a lot of changes to our world in that span of time. Though I may not be able to live that long to witness a world without paper money where everything will be paid digitally, I am preparing myself for what's to come. Whether it is bitcoin or something else that sends paper money into historical museums is something that the future generations will find out.

goverment printing money everyday  and no limited supply in paper money, that's why for me paper money must be burning, paper money not have 'real value' , i prefered gold system than paper money. it's more 'real sense' than use paper money.
311  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 23, 2016, 08:28:56 AM
i think it would be good to save money and invest it to real investment or buy bitcoin.
i like real investment like buying new vga for mining altcoin, then i invest my bitcoin at cloud mining system.
in future i want to have 'real mining' so every one can growing his money in 'real system'
312  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: August 23, 2016, 08:27:20 AM
It will always be a good idea to have bitcoin and it will be worth a lot, but it shouldn't take over.
bitcoin is definitely great and it should take over our whole financial system, that would give us really huge money to be honest
bitcoin have public verification, also all people can see where the going bitcoin, i think if goverment adopt bitcoin system, the country will be more safe from corruption etc. of course this is will make financial system more transparant.
313  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2016, 08:22:46 AM
why do you need to know how to motivate women to use bitcoin? do you want to know because you want to impress them or do you think that only the man are into bitcoin? i think you need to teach them first all about bitcoin for them to have interest on it.

How about you? do you want to motivate women to use bitcoin? for what reason?  Smiley But anyway, you are right, it's a good foundation if they really know what is bitcoin and how they can use it... Coz if they only know how to use it, I doubt it if they will continue if their wallets were drained..  Smiley
If a woman is a business minded person it would be easy to motivate to use bitcoin but we cannot see women more often engage into business using the unconventional system, we are in the crypto world and majority of the members in the community are men.

not all woman whio have bussines minded will interesting to bitcoin, some woman who never touch in digital bussines will not interesting to know or using bitcoin.
314  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: August 23, 2016, 07:52:13 AM
if you have very cheap electricity you can build a small farm of few rig and be very profitable and leave your job i think, the earning would be something like 3-4k usd per month, i would be very surprised if anyone is earning that much in real life job now lol
Yes that would be really surprising because apparently, electricity costs a lot every where. There's no place that gives you low-cost electricity which makes your plan a little too far fetched. Your plan would also need a large amount of capital considering the fact that you're targeting a profit of 3-4K USD and it would be extremely boring since there would be not much effort that has to be done once the setup is done.

Well why not try to build up your small farm of mining rig by using solar panel if you are getting expensive bill to your electricity bill then you need to invest also for solar power. But I'm pretty sure you are going to get the return of your investment for few months and you are going to have no problem with your electricity consumption.
Having a solar panel instead of having electricity from an electricity company will cost you a lot. I don't wanna stress this that much but it will really cost you tons of money. Knowing that your "small farm" will be having mining rigs that should be able to generate 3-4K USD a month (in profits, other stuffs aren't counted yet in this price), then that means that you're gonna be needing an electricity that is sufficient to power these rigs every day and every night. With the additional electricity consumption for the ventilation of the mining rigs.

The mining rigs alone will cost you a lot, the land and the materials that will be used in building the room for the farm will cost you a lot, the solar panels will cost you a lot = This is some serious large amount of money.
I agree, we will only come to that thinking if we have generated a good amount of money coming from our savings from work, and I too believe that majority of us here does not have the capacity to start a mining business due to some capitalization problem.

Be realistic and live in the current situation but always consider your dream in the future.

True, even if we like to build  a mining farm but the  capital  make us stops because its  not  a small money we are talking here but  huge amount of capital since from the miners alone  you would need large sum of money because its  expensive , how much more on electricity and  on maintainance for sure this would be  a lot of expense. Well if we have this dream maybe  start to save now  with a goal of huge money saved.
are you know how much money must you pay for building solar pannel ?
for running 1200watt you need arround $5.000, and of course we can't predict the sun will be shine brightly every day

it's not small monye to build biggest mining farm, to earning 3k permonth we need arround $18.000, the biggest problem for miner is unstable electric , in my village every monday the electric will be off for 6-7hours that's make me lost some earning.
316  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2016, 07:45:43 AM
My plan is to earn a lot of bitcoin and don't use it on small things. Invest on safe investment, trade on safe traders, for me to earn big BTC and wait until the price get big because i have a strong feeling that one of these days, months, years, that the BTC is going up and that was the right time that i already earn a lot of btc and convert it.
it's good idea, how about buying new vga for mining altcoin? i think that's a good idea to invest our bitcoin, to growing our money, today m buying 2nd hand Rx 480 with very low price, i calculate i can take ROI in 4month Roll Eyes
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: August 23, 2016, 07:27:24 AM
People who hate bitcoin are crazy people.
That is not the reason why they are hating bitcoin.. and i think they are just luck of knowledge about bitcoin thats why they are hating and ignore the uses of bitcoin.. but if bitcoin will be more popular and more countries and stores are accepting bitcoin they will change their mind.

People don't hate bitcoin, but the gorvernment officials hate bitcoin, especially Chinese officials, they defamed bitcoin is a ponzi scam, how retarded they are.
Not all governments actually hate them. Some governments actually love them since it's a new way for them or something else to put tax on.
Some governments however recognizes bitcoins as currency in itself and some just don't care.

Yep, communism countries hate bitcoins, like Chinese, Vietnamese governments hate bitcoin and ban them. But they are incompetent to ban them.

I think China have the larger percentage of owning bitcoin. In my opinion, they would grow it more and maybe use it for power someday. They are good in thinking for their future and not just waiting for what happen.

chinese release his private own cryptocurrency, not sure about when the coin will be release to pubilic, but im sure in future chinese can use bitcoin as other currency, like normal currency
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: August 23, 2016, 07:25:52 AM
Don't dream about this, there is sports arbitrage, but it is not very often you can get sure bets, you should monitor many bookies and use bots to bet. Not easy for ordinary people, that's for pros.
although you use 1000bots in the end of game , you will lose  your mney. it's the fact about gambling Roll Eyes
so no safe method in gambling
