101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cut losses on: August 25, 2018, 05:20:29 PM
OK so I bought ETH a while back when it was 600 dollars.

Now that ETH is 275 is it a good move to sell my ETH and buy back in? Wouldnt profit be faster when market picks up like that or not?

Please help me understand
If you sell it at a price of $ 275, you lose half of your money, and that I don't think is a good step, you better buy back at $ 275 in large amounts so you can cover your losses with a small increase in coin prices.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin down, altcoin rise. why? on: August 25, 2018, 05:14:18 PM
The price of a coin is determined by market demand, if the demand for altcoin increases then what happens is the increase in altcoin prices and vice versa, and another reason Altcoin can be traded for BTC so that when I sell bitcoin for altcoin, there is more demand for the altcoin that I try to get . making increased demand for altcoins in the crypto market.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does the future hold? on: August 25, 2018, 05:02:37 PM
The crypto currency market is getting bigger, stronger and better with the emergence of new and prospective alt coin but sadly I can say its not going at the pace I predicted because some people are pulling out by selling of coins I guess that's why the prices of coins is not experiencing and increase like what we experienced last year. I need to ask from the experts, what does the future hold? What should/can we do?
Every day Bitcoin is mined by miners, in the future Bitcoin will be increasingly scarce, and if Bitcoin enthusiasts increase while Bitcoin becomes scarce because many people who hold it will certainly result in rising Bitcoin prices, all you have to do is invest long-term in Bitcoin before Bitcoin became rare and expensive.
104  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin and global warming on: August 25, 2018, 04:51:41 PM
Cannot be denied if the entire global economy is based on the source of mining and burning energy that has been stored on Earth for millions of years. and it is also true that large amounts of electricity are used only by running mining / rig hardware. But I think this is totally irrelevant overall, knowing that there are power plants and other items out there that consume one hundred times more electricity than GPUs and ASICs.

106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait? on: August 25, 2018, 04:51:32 AM
The present situation of the market has caused panic into the minds of some crypto enthusiasts. Some have not seen so much dip as this. One thing i know is that, crypto is very volatile. So no matter how much it falls, it will definitely rise back. Just watch out for what will happen in few weeks' time.
I will only urge you to wait and do not sell in panic.
What you wrote is true, that crypto is very easy to change depending on market demand, and your advice is also good so that everyone waits and does not sell in panic. but in reality not everyone can wait and they are forced to sell not because they panic but they sell because they have to meet their daily needs.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to change on: August 23, 2018, 07:39:04 PM
Just enjoy what Bitcoin provides for you, because I think income is the biggest motivation for enthusiasm in doing activities, no need to blame if crypto creates many new millionaires, of course you don't need to be disappointed with people who try to destroy bitcoin because bitcoin has a period A good front so use the opportunity in the crypto world if you have done your best you will definitely get lots of benefits from Crypto.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons behind Bitcoin/Cryptomarket fall??? on: August 23, 2018, 07:14:58 PM
I think there are many reasons why the price of bitcoin has dropped, the main reason is the spread of bad news that affects supply and demand, because many investors are panicking to sell their bitcoin because they are easily fooled by the spread of news, this makes the price of Bitcoin falls and it is difficult to rise again, because big investors are afraid to reinvest. first learn about bitcoin, before you start investing in crypto, it is very important for you to have knowledge about bitcoin, and for you to know what is best to do when prices go down.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Сrypto currency in a charitable environment on: August 22, 2018, 07:12:55 PM
I think blockchain will help charity because of its openness. But there is a problem of conscience, of course that will make us anxious because fear if our good intentions to help are not right on target, it is not clear whether a product will be created and implemented that will allow the work to be full of donations.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: August 22, 2018, 07:03:11 PM
Don't you think price blast not correlate with its real life usage since its inception?

Its hoarded for speculative purpose but how many major cities in the world have even its ATM?

I mean we all the time correlate its value with fiat currency then buy/take then what's its purpose in my day to day life?

Who will accept it in store when confirmation time is so long.
Currently the use of Bitcoin in real life is very low, this is due to the limitations of people in accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment. but this will peak high in a short time because users have started using it directly without changing to traditional fiat.
And I don't think it's a problem if bitcoin confirmation is slow or something. When you send bitcoin, you cannot actually return the payment so the buyer is sure that he will get the money.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it now time to buy altcoins? on: August 22, 2018, 06:35:42 PM
looking at the unstable market, I hesitate to buy altcoins, which I am afraid of, if I buy now, I can lose, in the opinion of all friends, is it now worth buying altcoins?

I can say this is a good time to enter the altcoin, because currently the market is falling and the price of coins is relatively cheap, but even though it's cheap, the risk of losing still exists. You will not make big profits if you are unable to face big risks.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: August 22, 2018, 06:14:02 PM
I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  Huh
What you experience in my opinion is the carelessness of investment. You are too hasty in determining the time to invest. and you don't learn from previous mistakes. if you still want to recover your losses, my advice goes back to Bitcoin, buy as much as you can, this is the best opportunity to invest in Bitcoin because the price is very cheap and has the potential to rise again.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth falls on: August 22, 2018, 05:26:18 PM
what a fallin down by Ethereum, the price are quite cheap at this moment but maybe there is a chance to be more cheaper than this. for me its better to still wait & see how Ethereum take respond before decide to accumulate more.
There is indeed the possibility to go back down, but I am worried if it continues to delay investment time, Ethereum prices will bounce back up and we lose momentum to make money from Ethereum's rise. because I think Ethereum is the best coin that becomes the payment instrument in many legitimate ICO projects. hurry up to buy Ethereum!
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF, what is it really? on: August 22, 2018, 05:15:15 PM
The news of Bitcoin ETF has taken center stage for the past months, but what is it really? And what good will it do to crypto users?

To shed a little bit of light, ETF is an acronym for Exchange-Traded Fund. It is a passive investing instrument that has an underlying asset, and in the case of Bitcoin ETF, bitcoin is the underlying asset.

Why ETF? Primarily, ETF does not require professional trading skills unlike others such as mutual funds. You need not be a professional trader. It has a low operating expenses with no investment minimums. Thus, everyone gets to invest on Bitcoin ETF easily.

Will Bitcoin ETF split the Bitcoin economy into two? Well, as stated earlier, Bitcoin is the underlying asset of Bitcoin ETF, thus, investing and trading on Bitcoin ETF will only strengthen bitcoin itself.

Then why not invest and trade on bitcoin alone? With Bitcoin ETF, one need not bother about technicalities that involves safe keeping of your digital asset. All is taken care of plus the fact that your asset is moving on a busy market along with other popular ETFs.

Lastly, i do believe that Bitcoin ETF is another gear towards cryptocurrency adoption which is really really good for the entire crypto economy.

What are your thoughts?
Thank you for sharing with us. Bitcoin ETF is indeed a good platform to create a sense of security for investors and Bitcoin assets, I think this will attract many new investors who enter the industry because of security. because everyone also knows that attacks hacking are still a frightening specter for some Bitcoin holders.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: August 19, 2018, 06:07:26 PM
ICOs scam is one of the reasons why cryptocurrency has a bad reputation and results in a decrease in the level of trust of some ICO investors, this is very dangerous for the future of cryptocurancy, especially for ICO projects. The fraud ICO is currently growing in number compared to previous years. This is why we all have to be more careful in choosing an ICO. Research first. Try checking the ICO team / developer and rating it on websites like icobench or icorating. I usually join ICOs that are handled by trusted managers. This helps reduce risk.
116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese Investor bought 10,000 bitcoin during the dip! on: August 19, 2018, 05:56:13 PM
https://www.ccn.com/chinese-angel-investor-gathers-10000-bitcoins-during-bear-q1-2018/
There was one Chinese investor who is now trending after he bought 10k bitcoin during the Q1 bear or during the bearish movement at the first quarter of the year. According to the article he was Cai Wensheng the founder of a selfie-app called Meitu which is very popular in China. This man is a good sign that bitcoin really is becoming more attractive to big enterpreneurs across the globe.
This is a smart and brave person, because he buys in large quantities regardless of the negative issues about Bitcoin, the advantages he enters at the right time, when the price is cheap. and now he has made a big profit if he sells it. I am happy to hear this news, because Bitcoin is still in great demand for investors even though the country prohibits Bitcoin from operating in its territory.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Bitcoin total ownership goal? on: August 19, 2018, 05:00:57 PM
My goal is to have 1 bitcoin after 6 months. It's important to set realistic goals and break your main goal into smaller goals that are easier to achieve.I don't know how somebody could gather 20 or 50 bitcoins(unless he is a crypto hacker, online crypto casino owner or some exit scam ICO dev/owner).
[/quote]
No need to think negatively of people who have a lot of Bitcoin, try to learn the history and graph of Bitcoin! You can also have lots of Bitcoin if you enter the crypto world 5 years ago and holding it until now. and there are many opportunities to produce Bitcoin more, one of them is by trading daily crypto and investing in legitimate ICO projects, but it all depends on the ability and capital spent. keep thinking positive friends!
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Introduced in Kenya for the First Time on: August 18, 2018, 05:00:12 AM
The First East African Bitcoin ATM has been installed in Nairobi. This will enable the users to purchase Bitcoins and Litecoins instantly. Read on to know more!

Link to the article : https://coinfrenzy.io/bitcoin-atm-kenya/
This is very good to support the interest of new investors to get Bitcoin and this also I think is an effective way of promotion, because ordinary people will see and read, so they will ask questions, what is Bitcoin and how to get it? I hope that many other countries are mimicking Kenya's steps in adopting a bitcoin ATM machine.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's stop comparing Bitcoin to Ethereum or any other Cryptos on: August 18, 2018, 04:46:40 AM
Ignore people who continue to compare bitcoin and Ethereum or other altcoins, because of the comparison of bitcoin to Ethereum or to the altcoin, that comparison has no place. the price is very far. they sell not because of the comparison being made in the community. This is only a result where everyone panics because of a lack of understanding of crypto and the lack of faith in making long-term investments.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is best coin for long term hold? on: August 18, 2018, 02:23:27 AM
i need suggestion from you.you guy's can give me best info.
i want hold some crypto hold for long time.which can give good profit for long term?
Yes, it's true that the advantage of investing in ICO is very profitable sometimes it can be many times over, but for now investing in ICO is very high risk because there are so many ICO projects that are scam. so my advice is better to invest in registered coins, to be safer in holding for a long time.
