1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacker stole my funds from blockchain on: January 18, 2019, 06:44:49 PM
I've warned people for years not to use blockchain.info but they still do. What can you do. Sorry for your loss. Learn from this mistake like I did years ago.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: December 30, 2018, 07:13:22 PM
I've been extremely interested in Mimblewimble since it was first presented a couple of years ago, though I only recently heard that grin is finally launching its mainnet soon.

Me too, I have been waiting for this for a very long time.
I have talked about it with a few very crypto code-smart people quite a while ago and they also seem to have high hopes for it.

I'm so glad to see that a mimblewimble implementation will finally be up and running in the new year! I'm hoping to mine early on but it may not be possible due to the RAM requirements.
3  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTB Bitcoin at an 85% exchange rate for an amazon giftcard on: November 06, 2018, 04:28:16 PM
Lol. What a confusing title. You're looking to sell an Amazon gift card. It doesn't matter if you go first if this was purchased with a stolen credit card  Grin
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mind uploading and/or chip implants in the body as alternative to wallets on: September 26, 2018, 06:29:02 PM
Nope it won't be for criminals you are just a walking pile of money waiting to be kidnap and be chopped into pieces by them.

Exactly this. If I don't carry around rolled up $100 bills up my ass why would I want my private keys on me 24/7? If I'm not willing to hand it over they'll rip my appendages off.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where's the bitcoin hype gone? on: July 09, 2018, 04:37:54 AM
Yeah we haven't had a bear market in so long that people forgot what they're like. The morons that think we're glad to zero will be sadly mistaken, yet again. Bitcoins are always being adopted by more people and lower prices always attract new people that see "Oh 6k and at one point it was 20k? I'm okay to throw in some money and see if it triples."
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: ICOs are the cause of recent bitcoin fall. on: June 16, 2018, 09:51:53 PM
Maybe partially but I doubt this would have created a bear market in any way. It's more about all of the FUD that comes out at the same time from traditional media and all of the sheep follow the other sheep down the hill.
7  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling my 50 btc wallet dat. file with lost password on: May 31, 2018, 11:16:25 PM
This is one of the oldest scams in crypto. Don't fall for it. It's his money and the passphrase is probably just another private key, or two private keys. You'll never get it. Move along.
8  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [HAVE] $16 Paypal [WANT] BTC (1:1 green trusted user) on: May 12, 2018, 07:54:31 PM
I need another trade.

I have $95 Paypal and I need $95 BTC

Care to explain why you never signed that message that was requested a few times? Any old bitcoin address will do. Maybe we should contact the original owner of your account...?
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen when 1 satoshi is $ 1? on: May 12, 2018, 07:51:16 PM
If 1 satoshi equals $ 1 then it is certain that there is no bitcoin banned country, I'm sure the state will make bitcoin as foreign exchange reserve because bitcoin has become an inernational currency.

You didn't answer the question you illiterate signature spamming glob of dog shit.

This situation will not happen. It will not be allowed for many reasons. If suddenly happens, it will be an uncontrolled flow of money.

What? Care to explain in your mother tongue wtf you're trying to say?

If a satoshi is $1 it's because the dollar has collapsed. Who gives a shit at that point. It's very easy to divide to 16 or 24 decimal places if needed. Read the whitepaper ffs illiterate asswipes.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pump and Dump groups that are Good? Cryptopia on: March 17, 2018, 12:54:29 AM
These always have been, and always will be illegal. The difference now is the SEC will be hunting you down and fining you/placing you in jail. I'd recommend not joining these, because they're shady as hell, illegal and you'll be left holding the bag.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Forks [updated 3/11/2018] on: March 17, 2018, 12:51:42 AM
Wow, found this while looking how to claim a few forks. I literally thought I was looking into 3 or 4, not dozens. Ffs this is just insanity. No way I would/could ever claim all of these or have the time to research which are scams and which aren't. If I don't get $100 out of claiming them then I won't bother I guess.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO Could Surpass Bitcoin By The Year 2019 on: March 11, 2018, 10:06:55 PM
NEO is just another shitcoin that will be around for a few years but definitely won't overtake bitcoins. NEO isn't even a currency lol. It can't "overtake" anything. If it's somehow got a higher marketcap it's still not "overtaking" anything. My bitcoins from 2015 are about 30 different alts now. Are you also taking that into consideration? Of course not. Rofl. Fail.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin and Dinosaurs: are rules changing? on: March 11, 2018, 10:01:26 PM
Rofl. Dinosaurs didn't get like eaten by ants or whatever dumb shit you're saying hahaha.

Bitcoin fees where out of whack and now they aren't. So. Yeah. I guess your argument for why they're so bad is now defunct. You'd better hang onto some so you can survive in the future when all of your alts go to 0 and fiat dies.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchanges will survive? on: March 11, 2018, 09:58:05 PM
Big centralized exchanges that only offer crypto to crypto will eventually die. There just isn't a need to trust anyone in crypto and people will come to realize that very soon with all the DEXs coming out. One of them will do it right, advertise enough to get people in, generate hype and good to go.

We'll need the fiat to crypto exchanges because it's a way for new people to get in and is highly regulated, and we'll need DEXs. Polo, binance, bittrex, they'll either need to become decentralized, which I think binance said 3y where going to, or they'll just get rekt.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new way to earn cryptocurrency without investing? on: March 11, 2018, 09:44:27 PM
Rofl. Your big idea is ... crowd funding. Genius. No one ever thought of that. Maybe you could crowd fund for an idea you have and people would get like uhhhhhh... tokens and those tokens would represent a portion of the profit that you earn from your idea. Man you've got a great plan. Nothing could go wrong here. Good luck.
16  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WARNING] Avoid auto-buy links, especially by newbies, locked or self-moderated on: March 11, 2018, 09:24:53 PM
Looks like this finally got stickied.

At least this should greatly reduce the revenue of these scum coming from newbies.

Hopefully but highly unlikely ...... there is a sucker born every minute.

And about 100 of those join Bitcointalk every day. People just don't understand that you can't trust anyone and don't understand that sending them crypto first is trusting them. Like omg newbs this isn't PayPal and you're not buying a pair of socks off of eBay. Wtf are you thinking?

If you've been here long enough to read a few posts you should know that if someone has negative trust, an autobuy link and the thread is locked, it's an obvious scam. Even if there's no negative trust (yet) it's a very very obvious scam.

Are these the same people that would go an meet up with someone to buy a $50 iPhone on Craig's List? Lol. That will end well.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "ETHereum crashed " don't worry and wait on: March 11, 2018, 09:20:06 PM
This needs to go in the shitcoin section. I'll go ahead and let the mods know.

ETH is a pumped up shitcoin that won't last as soon as a better competitor comes along. They change algos on a whim, hard fork on a whim, and it's run by one guy. That's... Wow. Why not just invest in fucking Ripple? Same exact thing. Centralized shitcoin.

It costs $800-$1100, but it's worth 50 cents. I never would have bought at $8 because it was already a rip off at $1. No amount of fiat gains are worth selling your soul for.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market corrections are good on: March 11, 2018, 09:11:28 PM
To top it off i don't have to read "when moon! when lambo!" every time i open discord or telegram. I think those are huge benefits.

But... When moon?

Lol yeah I'm so glad I don't have to see that shit anymore. It was always Slack before but yes of course now it's Discord. I don't have telegram because they require a phone number. Man I'm surprised so many people in crypto use it and are willing to give out their phone number. Maybe I'm just missing out because they know of an app that can generate a number or something. I heard Google Voice works but I think that's only available in America.

This bear market was needed for sure. Now I actually have time to research projects that I was interested in but they 2xed then 2xed then 2xed in like a week so I said F that, I'm not investing now. I can look deeper into them now and invest some! Woohoo! I only invest in projects that I think we succeed and I'm genuinely interested in. No NEO or ETH here. I've never owned any and never will. They are over-hyped IMO and aren't worth 100th of what they cost.
19  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 03-10-2018 A Bitcoin Twitter War Is Raging And No Account Is Safe on: March 11, 2018, 09:02:16 PM
I don't use Twitter and this is why. I did read the Bitcoin Cash shilling, and it was a fucking nightmare. They keep saying to read the whitepaper. Lol that's the shittiest argument. The whitepaper doesn't say anything about encrypted private keys, so Bitcoin Cash shouldn't have those either. It didn't talk about HD wallets so I certainly hope they don't use those either. My God it's a joke.

And of course the scams, the bots... Twitter is a nightmare. Can someone PLEASE create a decentralized Twitter already?? Like a good one and not one of these half-baked ideas?
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm wondering. What is the perfect BTC Dominance in your opinion? on: March 11, 2018, 08:15:41 PM
Doesn't matter. 90% of the shitcoins that exist right now will be dead in a few years. They have big ideas or in some cases half baked ideas and most of th will never even come to fruition. It's naive to think that they will.

Bitcoin is the first, has the most devs working on it and is still by far doing the best out of anything else. Saying the "dominance" should be "less than 10%” is like throwing a dart with your eyes closed and pretending that you meant for it to land wherever it lands.

What shitcoin are you shilling here? Or should we buy gold? Silver? It's hard to see why you're blindly pulling things out of your ass until we see your true motives.

Edit: Jetcoin. See? Now why didn't you just go and shill your shitcoin? It's just that easy. No need to sling shit at the one true winner.
