It's an 8 year old technology and you expect the price to be stable? That's like saying when the TV came out everyone should have had 1 within the first 8 years of them existing and the prices should have been lower at that point. It's still new. It's going to be volatile.
Fees are usually much less than they are right now but as of August this should be fixed. UASF will help.
Bitcoins, unlike banks, don't have or need a reputation because there is no trust involved. Banks want you to think that bitcoins have a bad rep, but they are not a person and can't do anything wrong. Banks make mistakes all the time. Bitcoins fundamentally can't. Think of it like, what's email's reputation? Wtf does that mean? It makes no sense? It's a technology how can it have a reputation? The rep is it works 100% no ifs ands or buts.

I stopped reading after you said Ethereum was decentralized. I think a lot of people have been fooled into thinking it is, but the dev has full control. The future will be more technologies and businesses coming in to crypto land to fix centralization issues with other tech A lot of places accept 0 confirmation transactions.
The logic is that in order for you to go through and try to double spend on that coffee you bought, you would have to have over 50% hashing power. Makes no sense to try and do that.
For other things in higher value 1 or 2 or 3 confirmations is more secure and should be used.
From what I have seen from others, 0 confirmations work almost instantly. Just need to get fees a bit lower.
Not true at all. If I send a fee of 29 sats/byte, go home and send the same tx but with 400 sats/byte I just double spent on them and I didn't need to do a 51% attack. There are different types of double spends.

Why would core care what miners think? Full nodes and end users are just as important or more important to keep bitcoins decentralized and stable (in terms of the tech, not the price obviously).

Quickbt is good for small amounts with no id required and quadrigaCX is good for bigger amounts. Id is required but your limits will be within an actual useful range.
Oh these are Canadian so might be useless to you.

The private key of the address you are trying to sign has to be in the wallet. If it is not, it is not possible for you to sign a message using that address. Even if the address is a change address, the private key should be stored in the wallet.
Go to Console and type ismine("1YOURADDRESS") while replacing it with your address. If the response is false, you cannot sign a message with that address with your cold wallet.
I am sure the address is mine in my Electrum cold wallet. It can be displayed in my Electrum watch only wallet by the order listaddresses(). But when i type ismine("MYADDRESS") , the response is false, why? The command checks if the wallet has the corresponding private key of the address. This means that you do not have the private key of the address. Without the private key, you will not be able to sign a message with it. You have likely imported the address as a watch only address. There are a few different ways just not on electrum. Try out https://brainwalletx.github.io/#sign but I would download the website first and disconnect from the internet.

I love that my hobby has earned me a decent amount of money. When my friend is talking about trying to sell clash of clan accounts and bitter pokemongo accounts for $50-$200 it's funny to me that he wasted so much time on something so useless. Oh and then the charge backs happen and it was 100% a waste of time.

Phew thank God I sold on that dead cat bounce from 1200-1600. There's no good news so the hyper inflated price won't be sticking around. Back to double digit Satoshis folks. Maybe next time.

It does look like OP is trolling you. As I have not previously seen this accusation against you and in a combination with this thread, I have left you a negative rating as well. The other option would be to start a new account.
yes starting with a new account will be good than paying some scammers, will look forward to buy some green trusted accounts. oh great. That'll make you seem trustworthy. Maybe you should just... be trustworthy and this won't happen in the first place. This is one of the reasons for which I don't like leaving positive trust often. It's too bad but understandable. Who knows if that person you trusted 6 months ago is even the same person. Haha you should demand that if people want their positive ratings to stay they need to pm you a signed message once a month. Every 3rd Tuesday of the month sounds good to me. All opposed? .. So it's decided.

he's saying that he's not going to sway. Pretty obvious man. Btw, why would you want to go on a date with Taylor freaking Swift? Omg gross lol. Her squints eyes and terrible music are no match for anyone. She'll be Perma-single until she can find a male Helen Keller to love her.

They have valid proofs if you were holding the campaign funds and run away after that. The only solution is pay 1.5 btc back to them and contact those people who left you negative feedback.
The other option would be to start a new account. Using new account isn't a solution. No i didn't ran away with any money from anyone, Importantly i never talked to them nor i had hear of spectrocoin before they involved me in scam accusation. I am not a slut to pimp on some others money. It is better to buy a legendary account because i would had been legendary by this time if the shit had not happened, Or i will get a green trusted account. Why do you need either of those accounts? You said you want to be active. It sounds like you're needing a reputation for some reason. Another heist? Active like a man i was before, and newbie is not an option for me. better buy a account that suits my status and i can continue my hellp to the community. Fact is that , i also did not used to have the signature or any stackoverflow avatar , the hacker put them in my account. Having the title legendary doesn't mean anything just an FYI. If you really are the scammer you'll be sought out soon enough.

Yeah there is pretty much no value in the accounts because you could easily recover them, and they just have no value anyways. Also why would me knowing where you live and what your contact info is help me if you stole $550? Am I going to fly a cross the world to get you?hire an attorney? Nah. It's gone.

Well to start it looks like you owe 1.5BTC to people whether you were in control of your account or not. So paying that back would be trustworthy.
The other option would be to start a new account.

A lot of people are saying it's probably malware but on a more obvious level, did you send any eth or copy this eth address to your clipboard for some other reason?

It's funny how when bitcoin goes up some altcoins crash (showing their true value) while others go up with bitcoin because the exchanges list them in terms of how many satoshis it takes to buy them so some people don't even notice that they actually just went from a 3 cent shitcoin to a 2 and a half cent shitcoin lol.

You could either do an auction on it or you could sell it in the collectibles section. Either way, you'll have lots of interest if you post some pictures with your username on a sticky note beside it I could offer the 0.1 BTC it's worth. Hell, I'll even cover the shipping because I'm such a nice guy

Wasn't this already a thing years ago? What was the name of it again? Oh ya. The silk road 1.0, 2.0 etc. I don't recall what happened to those though. They seem to have vanished for one reason or another.
As a Canadian I'm assuming you can compete with the HIGHLY subsidized drugs here?

With my experience SEPA is way too slow to buy bitcoins with. Depending on your bank it could take 1-5 business days and sometimes that's not even guaranteed. I'd try another payment method if you're in a rush.

He is very pessimistic person. He must say "I am holding 90% of my net worth in digital currencies such as Bitcoin and Ether"
If that is true, I think he is very optismistic. ROFL. Read it again, he said the exact opposite. Holding 90% of your assets in anything is stupid/naive/uneducated. Any investor knows you need to spread out your assets into different markets and different asset mixes. If you go all in you're raising your risk exponentially.
