Misleading title. Nice clickbait.
I don't understand why banks think this any different than fiat. It's just fiat 2.0 and it has the exact same problems as fiat.

Who cares if ethereum passes bitcoins? It's all FOMO on a buggy shitcoin. Omg guys I have 600billion ripple! They're worth $14USD now! Lolol. Oh damn, they just made 400quadrillion more. Damn. Mine are worthless now.

1. Does it have any real use? 2. Is it innovative (not just yet another clone of bitcoins) 3. How popular is it already?
The top 25 altcoins aren't necessarily the best picks for big gains, but the lower you go on coinmarketcap.com the more risk you're taking of investing in a shitcoin. How do you predict where the price will go? It's all luck. Coins get pumped and dumped everyday. Choose a few you like and hold on for the wild ride.

Sssssssort of. Ish. Kinda sorta maybe lol.
On the one hand, yeah in certain countries it will help you get a job anywhere in the world, but on the other hand it may reduce jobs in your local area if you can find someone that can do it remotely for much cheaper.

Buy high sell low
I appreciate when people do . Don't invest more than you're willing to or able to lose. Don't invest all in one coin. Don't invest in obvious terrible coins like ripple or NEM. Don't sell at a low point. You'll almost always regret it.

Honestly I don't care about the mainstream any more, I am using Bitcoin from 2011 or maybe 2010 and I am fully using it for my survival in the Internet I think that was the biggest step for me. I don't need any proof to get on this system I just know how it works and I believe in the system. I am proud that I use bitcoin and we are so good that we are here as a community. this community has lot of geniuses.
I know right? I always feel like I'm the dumbest one talking here haha. I know I'm not, but if we go to the technical support threads I'm usually pretty clueless compared to the few geniuses around there.

Is this the "crash"? Meh, come on we can do better than that. My gut says $1800.
Your gut is bullshitting you bro, I'm looking at the price right now and all I can see is an increasing price unlike any crash I've ever seen, now my gut is telling me whenever you see a price lower than $2100 jump right on it as hard as possible, because we all can see how the market pumped to the moons around $2700, I'd take a risk and will go for at least $300 profit per coin. lol, you may be right. Don't worry though, I do not trade on "feelings". I trade only on mathematics. But a crash? Man that was barely a fender bender. $1300 to $100. Now that's a crash. $2700 to $1900? Wtf who cares? It's big but it's not a 90% dip so who gives a flipping crap!?

If you're looking to trade altcoins you're just trying to get something that rises faster than bitcoins so the amount you purchase bitcoins for is irrelevant.

i really love Japan, not only for the mass adoption of bitcoin, that is too obvious. but i love it because they are moving forward with their adoption so smoothly and so silently without any drama!
so far in any other place we keep seeing a lot of drama, a lot of government meddling and roadblocks!
this is going to be a new full bitcoin exchange platform with zero fees by the way.
In the west we deal with a lot of old timer idiots in government who don't want anything to change. At some point someone new will ce in when that moron retires and we'll only be 10 or 20 years behind every Asian country.

Chinese will regain confidence in bitcoin so a lot of people would deposit knowing they can withdraw again later, that will pump the price.
Chinese never lost their confidence in bitcoin, and they never lost their confidence in trading it either! they only lost their access to easy way of trading bitcoin on an exchange in their own country working easily with their fiat. you can confirmed this if you check the volume of other exchanges they have migrated to as soon as their own exchanges were suspended by PBOC. Yep. So it's just going to make things easier and get the wheels moving. It's not going to make it so everyone there dumps but instead they will be much more confident in bitcoins and buy more to trade with.

and altcoin, get ready for a new wave
Altcoins are purchased by morons. Morons that are trying to get more bitcoins. If bitcoins drop, so do altcoins because these morons are really bad at math and everything is based on bitcoin prices. If you look at how many bitcoins it takes to purchase a monero let's say, you'll notice the change is within a normal range. This is because they are all too derpy to understand that they should actually be worth more because bitcoins dropped. But they aren't. Why? Because this isn't there true value, it's just FOMO. Sell your alts, get back into btc and stay put.

So basically a REAL decentralized version of Ethereum. We'll that makes sense. I'm all for it. Guess I'll just keep HODLing on for dear life. Time for everyone to dump their crappy eth.

lolz you guys are so wrong!
Btc will continue to crash, all the way downto $500.
I told you blood will flow in the street, metaphorically. Many of you should be standing inthe ledge ready to jump.
lolz
If that's true I'll buy all of your sig spam money for $500/BTC. Send me a PM. Happy to do it asap. Oh noes! The crash! Sell to me at $500/ea quick!
It's the same with sticks too. The selling is so quick because people panic and want to hang onto profits. Bitcoins aren't going down or into a bear market anytime soon so this is just a temp situation. There hasn't been much movement in the past two hours so I'm expecting we pump right back up to $2200 or so today and continue on the track to $3000 soon after. These giant pumps and dumps mean nothing when you invest so long ago that your money is triple, or 5x it's original value.

This is exactly what tether and other cryptocurrencies promised to do but as you can see tether is all over the place lately. 90% a month ago, 106% today. It's still a relatively stable currency but it won't be a dollar for dollar match anymore. Maybe someone else has a better algorithm than them.

Op was right about his prediction may be Op is a huge investor too, but i dont sell anything because i still get 310% of profit. i will sell only if bitcoin down at $500.
That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. You'll sell at a LOW point? Are you durping too hard right now or what? I'll buy your bitcoins right now @$500 a piece so you don't have to worry about selling them if they drop that low. Deal?
|
|
|
Oh look at that -25% and the day isn't even over yet. Oh all the i-told-you-so's....
A broken clock is right twice a day. If you expect a crash every day and once a year there is a drop of course you'll be right. Let's see if we're in a bear market or if this is not a trend but just a correction.

how ar epeople payign in altcoin if no altcoin are accepted anywhere? they are lying obviously, altcoin are only used to have more bitcoin this is a fact
but it's also true thta the high fee of bitcoin is currently reducing the amount of transaction that are made, i mean if the fee was far lower we would have far more TX per day guaranteed
I only buy altcoins to later sell them for a profit in terms of bitcoin value. So this is true for me. Also, I hold off on transactions a long time and don't spend as often so my fees are only used when I actually need to pay them. What I mean by that is I send some funds to another one of my wallets but what I do is sometimes wait until every other time I get funds to send them so it's half as many inputs into the next address.

We're already heading back up. Neigh sayers are going to be pissed when bitcoins hit $3000/ea next week. You think the Japanese are done loading up on bitcoins already!? Ya right.

It means after rising $1200 USD there is a correction. Are you fucking daft? Hahaha. My God people here are so unrealistic it's ridiculous.

...because it is 100% that is a ponzi scheme.
A ponzi is one person or business that takes funds, shows people fake results and then pays out the interest to people using new people's money. Bitcoins you can cash out at any point. If you're stupid enough to think it's a ponzi then why are you even registered at bitcointalk? Maybe try a google search first. I didn't read past this point. Your arguments are null and void. Not an opinion (like your wild guess) but fact.
