I'm just gonna leave this here...

1402  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHub.io - Alternative to epay, faucetbox, paytoshi. Coming this month! on: November 16, 2016, 08:16:00 PM
Lol, sorry, didn't mean to hype up epay or anything. Just wanted to encourage you by telling you (as a long-time faucet user) that they won't be of any competition to you.

And the faucet list can be implemented after you launch; not a huge deal, but make sure you hit me up when you start coding/designing that page/feature; I got you Wink
1403  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHub.io - 💰Micropayment system💰. FaucetBox/Paytoshi alternative. on: November 16, 2016, 08:05:57 PM
Update Announcement

Hello everyone,

Effective immediately we no longer get fee from faucet owners and faucet users.

also, access control, budget control, and Proxy detection are added to faucet owners panel.

I honestly don't think that's going to be a problem for you, mex... How are they going to pay for their servers by offering a no-fee service to faucet admins. Roll Eyes

Regarding the faucet list, if the votes were only tallied by users who are logged in, verified by a separate BTC address for each account as to discourage spammers/botters, and had a minimum age for their account (1 week minimum) to be eligible to vote, this would be a great feature. Additionally, there could be a small link or button next to a faucet that indicates that it is no longer an operating faucet or has been dry for more than 7 days (or whatever) that would trigger a notification to moderators/admin to be able to remove the faucet from the directory. If a user false-flags a faucet for the sole purpose of manipulation, that user's account could be stripped of its ability to vote for any faucets in the future.

I imagine mexicantarget would hire a team of moderators that can monitor the reports/votes and deal with them while he focuses on the site's operations.

Another great idea is to have premium placement of faucets on this page, but keep it at a limited placement availability as not to inundate the page with a bunch of ad-type faucets. Maybe an auction that is held for that spot on a weekly/monthly basis? Kind of the way that the phone book or Google operates: faucet owners can list their faucets for free, but if they want premium placement, they can pay an additional cost to be listed higher in a "sponsored" section or something.

There are so many ideas on how to create a directory or listing for faucets, and i'm curious to see how this is handled, as well.
1404  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: November 16, 2016, 07:56:03 PM
Thanks Freebitcoin for another Roll Bonus win.

You must be claiming every hour! You've won so many times now lol. Congratulations, and I hope I'll be posting up some good winning screenshots again soon Wink
1405  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHub.io - 💰Micropayment system💰. FaucetBox/Paytoshi alternative. on: November 16, 2016, 07:36:30 PM
Also can you please make a nice system on faucet list?
Yes, I can and it's already made, but wont post any screenshots until it's launched Tongue

How do you want to set the order of the list?
I hope that you don't want create a voting system ..?  Roll Eyes
If I may suggest something, probably the easiest and for me the best solution ( at least at the beginning) is simply alphabetical list.
I'll stop giving away hints, since a competitor service has started copying most of the stuff I've mentioned in this thread.

You better wait and see when it's done

I'm sure you know this already, but this is a blessing in disguise. It just means that you're doing something right. And based on your previous history and experience, I have no doubt in my mind that your service is going to be more secure and easy to use than any "competition" that arises from this whole ordeal lol.

I'm getting excited about this new service, and feel like it's going to be like all of the best micropayment services bundled into one site. FUCK YEAH lol
1406  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Paytoshi: Micropayments & Faucets on: November 16, 2016, 07:27:42 PM
FaucetBox -  Ends their days in Janauary 2017
Paytoshi - Ends their days in December 2016

However, I kinda liked the overview at Paytoshi, and sad to see they also go. I can't understand it's not profitable.

Now when that said; Faucet owners and faucet users should go over to Xapo. I don't think they would mind be the only one on the market for faucets.

FaucetHub.io is launching soon: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1672870.0;topicseen

Additionally, Xapo is great, but does not appeal to the masses, as there are a TON of restrictions for a lot of regions. They ask for too much information and verification when you sign up for their service.

FacuetHub will be the next big FaucetBox. Go with them Smiley
1407  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHub.io - 💰Micropayment system💰. FaucetBox/Paytoshi alternative. on: November 13, 2016, 06:54:54 PM
Anyone any idea what will happen to any satoshi in faucetbox where minimum cashout has not been reached? Will faucetbox keep them or will even amounts below minimum threshold be released?

I would imagine that they will remain in the faucetbox ecosystem. Anything less than their minimum transaction amount (0.00013BTC iirc), would just be a dusty transaction; it most definitely won't be worth it for FB to send out these transactions due to the fee structure alone.

Check out faucetgame.com and level up and make withdrawals from there so you can meet your minimum threshold Smiley

But you may want to ask in their thread, not here Tongue
1408  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: XAPO biticoin faucet freebtc.kz up to 2016 Satoshi every 1 Hour on: November 13, 2016, 05:39:41 AM
Did you raise the difficulty on your captcha? It's impossible for me to claim now, and I've barely claimed anything in the past 24 hours from any faucet, nor have I filled out any captchas.
1409  Economy / Exchanges / Re: C-CEX.com Trusted, Secure & Friendly Exchange Since 2013. 100+ Alts,USD,Low Fees on: November 13, 2016, 05:36:20 AM
Do not trust C-CEX, it do not give me back my BTC, and I waited for the ticket for two months and no reply at all.

That seems to be the way they do things. Very shadily. You'll get a response here, more than likely, but sad to see they don't give a shit about you in their support box on their site. Sorry dude.

I've had a horrible experience regarding a coin that was delisted. I know that c-cex sends out coins that are to be delisted, but I went through a tragic autumn here where my office building and block experienced a fire, which completely destroyed my devices, followed by a hurricane that tore through the country I live in that rendered the rest of my electronics useless. Although I still had access to my phone and internet, I did not specifically log in to c-cex to check on some coins that I had. I never received an email notification about the coins being delisted, and when I was finally able to get back on my feet and check my account, they had been delisted; thus my loss of the coins.

I've sent a ticket to the support team, explaining my situation, and they simply responded with the following:

Quote

I then answered back explaining that I was not able to be online at this time, and if I had received an email regarding the very coin that I had in my account that was to be delisted, that I never would have lost them. If you read the tweet from the response above, it shows nothing about the specifics of which coin was to be delisted. I never received an email, to which the support simply replied:

Quote
2016-10-20 10:52:30 C-CEX support
We did sent e-mail notification to all users who subscribed to our newsletters.

I understand that you guys may be busy, but come on. Is there any way to show some sympathy and simply send me the coins that I had lost, due to unforeseen devastating circumstances? Wouldn't it have been courteous to have sent an email to the accounts of your customers holding a coin that is to be delisted, rather than just tweeting a generic tweet, and then requiring users to be subscribed to a newsletter to get de-listing news? The amount of the delisted coin may not be much to some, but it could literally help me on my way to buying and replacing electronics that I've lost in the fire and hurricane.

It's not because of my negligence that I was not able to move the coins from my account. If it was, I would tuck my tail between my legs and move on. But this is just an unfortunate circumstance that I'm hoping you can make right by looking into for me. It's just that I'm so damn salty with the way the responses are so short from your support team.

Can you please help me look into this and see if there is anything you can do to help me recover the coin? If so, please PM me or reply here so I can tell you which coin it is. Your help would be extremely appreciated!

fire, which completely destroyed my devices, followed by a hurricane

We announce coin removal everywhere. Here, on trading page, in twitter. We also do e-mail notifications with coin list and removal date. We give 2 weeks for withdrawals and after that we give even more days or weeks additionally. When we remove coin from exchange that means we modify exchange settings, clear server from coin blockchain. In order to do what you request we need to make exchange settings back again for this coin, setup wallet, sync it, connect to exchange and only after that you will be able to withdraw again. It's a lot of job and we do not obligated to do it as we remove coins with fair procedure.

I'm done with you, and I'll make it very clear to anyone who asks me not to use C-Cex anymore. Even Poloniex made a special circumstance for me that required more than what you would have had to do. Are you telling me that when you delist coins, the balance of remaining coins on the site just gets deleted? You couldn't simply give me the value of whatever coins you exchanged at the time for what they were worth at the time? The coin is now on the rise, so you'll still come out ahead if you're still holding the coins, or whatever the fuck you did with them.

Bullshit.

Enjoy my coins. And thanks for nothing. The only reason you extended your response is because I took this public here in the forums. In fact, your response to me in my ticket on your website is posted over SIX HOURS after your response here. Which means you only care about the perception of others, while giving a rats ass about your users.

Oh, and look, it's a copy and paste Roll Eyes

FUCK YOU, C-CEX.

Like I said earlier; if it was due to my own negligence that I wasn't able to move my coins before you delisted them, I wouldn't be writing this here. And the way you go about delisting coins... is utter bullshit. You expect users to be active on your website, your twitter, or physically subscribe to some fucking newsletter. You seem to think that this is a fair way to inform users? Nah, dude. This is a horrible practice. The best practice would be to send an insite notification, which will obviously trigger an email notification, as your support ticket emails did, to let the users that are holding any coins to be delisted know that they are going to be delisted.

At the current method of doing things, you must be making a fortune off of people who leave their coins to get delisted. You purposefully make it appear like you're doing everything you can to let your customers know that they need to move their coins. But in fact, from personal experience, you don't give a fuck because you obviously profit from it.

FUCK YOU, C-CEX.
I may be taking this more personally because I'm at my biggest time of need ever in my life, but the way you handled this was utter bullshit. And I will make it known and go out of my way to recommend other exchanges before yours. Poloniex did a wonderful job responding to me and handling things in a civil matter. Even YoBit has better customer service than you.

Utter bullshit, and you could have handled this situation much better. It's apparent, especially with your short replies before this became public, that you don't give one shit about your customers.

Important feature. Protect your ass.

Holy crap, excellent feature. I've never been a faucet admin before, but did FaucetBox offer this security feature before?

A small tip that should go a long way,

If your wallet is on the current correct block create a zipped folder of your block files. This way if it forks you can just delete your current block files and use a copy that is good.

Something I should have done but regretfully haven't.

My god. Never realized to do this before. Thanks man, you just saved me a bunch of hours and bandwidth lol
1412  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHub.io - Micropayment system. FaucetBox alternative. on: November 07, 2016, 05:12:52 PM
I'm all for this! As a faucet owner, I think mexicantarget will have a great understanding of what is desired from a micropayment cache from both perspectives: the owner and the user.

Kudos to you, mex! Can't wait to check out faucethub.io when it's done!

And here's another win. It's not a GREAT one, but it's still a couple thousand satoshi.

Thanks, wetsuit!

becures its out of synce one more time :/ the old verison are soe bad. and i have all to new wallet-address becures i can't move my wallet.dat file to the new client version, and still fight with it.

As long as you have your wallet.dat file in tact, you should be okay. Just make sure to back it up, delete the rest of the files (don't delete your wallet.dat file!) in the application support directory, and open up the newest version of the client on your computer again. Once all the blocks are synced up again, your wallet will resolve itself and your balance will be shown there.
1417  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [EDU] Faucet risks on: October 29, 2016, 05:29:22 PM
Faucets are a very good way to earn money online and Bitcoin precisely, but for that to be achieved you need to use invest money, your time and your knowledge.

Not necessarily true... In my prime of referring and promoting paying faucets, I was bringing in close to 0.5BTC per month from referrals. It's not easy work, and does take a lot of time and dedication, but it's definitely possible to earn Bitcoin without having to invest real money. Time and knowledge, yes, but it's not easy for everyone to do what I've done with the referrals.
1418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoExistCoin - COXST - Blockchain technology to help better humanity on: October 29, 2016, 04:36:37 PM

The reason for price dump is simple.
More dumping than buying brings the price down.

The key here is WHY and WHO is dumping.
Here comes the sad part .. its done by miners not even knowing they mine COXST.

This is the "magic" of multipools and sellbots paying miners in btc.

Since COXST isnt worth mining directly, no on is.
So most if this mining and dumping is done automaticly by pools like Z-pool.

Some of the point behind PoW is to spread the coins to many users.
At this point mining is not beeing done by those collecting COXST... hence no more spread.

The plus side here is that the automatic daily dumping will HALF ... or completely stop (if Phil decides to go full POS)

Full POS would mean minimal inflation. Also the daily minting cant even be compared to the daily PoW mining.
Full POS would pretty guarantee the price to start rising.

This simply beacuse the value of daily dumping will be so low that even small investments will push the price up.
Also its natural for a buyer to sell higher than he bought in... hence starting the climb.

Bots from pools dont care. Ever.

Edit:
At this point i think full POS and no POW will help the coin immensly.
As covered, pow will not spread it any more.
To get more attention and spread, we need volume and price.
POS will help with this.

POS without PoW gives buyers a reason to hold without the guarantee of daily pow dumps.
In this case they will earn on both the minting of new coin with POS, and the natural rise of value.

Wow, this has a lot of information put into layman's terms that makes it easy to understand, so thank you for this.

For now, I think it's a great opportunity to pick up more of these coins, which is what I've been doing with every 5% drop in price thus far. I'm looking at COXST as an investment, because I've seen the amount of dedication and thought that was put into the coin by Phil and the supporting team.

Things are pretty bad for him at the moment, and as much as I hate to sound insensitive, as far as COXST goes, I'm okay with it because it's a great opportunity to pick up some more at great prices!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I really hope Phil's family issues are going to be okay, and let me know what I can do to help, if anything.
1419  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: October 29, 2016, 04:22:47 PM
How much can someone earn from this faucet? Because am interested.

You can earn up to $200 for each roll every hour. The prices that you can collect are based on the BTC value of $200 for the top prize.

So you can earn the following:

|Roll|USD Amount|
|0-9885|$0.0002|
|9886-9985|$0.02|
|9986-9993|$0.20|
|9994-9997|$2.00|
|9998-9999|$20.00|
|10000|$200.00|

Over the last couple years I've been claiming from this faucet, I've personally won the $20 prize once, the $2.00 prize once, and the $0.20 prize on several occasions.

But you're not going to earn too much from simply collecting from the faucet; the real money starts rolling in when you start referring people to this faucet. The best way to get referrals is to share your ref link on social media sites, such as Twitter, Bitcoin group on facebook, etc.

Be careful when dealing with C-Cex guys, and try not to plan your emergency devastating incidents around their timelines for delisting coins. Or you'll end up with insensitive one-liner answers from some obviously greedy operators who show no sympathy for people who have gone through such devastating times.

I'll start trading with C-cex soon. By the way maybe make the delisting notice 30 days? 2 weeks seems too short imo. Cheers!

I completely agree with you. I still would have lost my coins if this was the policy, but I probably wouldn't be here smearing the shit out of this website if there were 30 days of notice.

At the end of the day, I'm more pissed about the way they handled it than anything else. Don't let this thread fool you. It's a public facade and horrible indication of how their support really is.
