341  Economy / Economics / Re: You can't meet all your needs/desires at once, even if you spend all your salary on: September 25, 2023, 08:35:15 AM
A lot of people despite wanting to make investments or save money can't do it, not because they want to spend everything they earn but because they need to mainly because of their families. You might make yourself understand that you can't fulfill all the needs at once or certain things can be postponed but your spouse or children might not understand that and if you tell them you don't have money when you actually have, that can become an even bigger problem.

So, you have to give up and do whatever they want instead of buying Bitcoin or making investments which you actually wish to do. I'm not saying all that hypothetically but I'm experiencing it and I know that is becomes extremely difficult to save some money that I can use for buying Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.
342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: September 23, 2023, 06:23:15 PM
That is what I thought as well but for now, Celta Viga is giving their best and the result reflects that. Seriously, if anyone is following what is happening in this game, Celta Vigo is the superior team if you ask me. Normally the team controlling the ball most of the time also should be able to create more chances and more of anything during the game, but not here. Barcelona is harmless, it is as if they aren't able to create chances. All things equal it isn't unlikely that Celta Vigo has the chance to score a counter goal as well when Barcelona is pressing them. This will be interesting until the end.
Barcelona is not really at their best form in this game which is shown in the results so far, and we must admit that Celta Vigo has done a great job by holding up Barca on a 1:0 lead up till this minute but needs to find more goals to seal up the game, because leading a team like Barca a goal to nothing isn't a guaranteed one as they may come back to equalize the goal before the end of the game.
Situation was not good as Barcelona concede two goals, and we have few minutes left in this game, but now Robert Lewandowski scored fourth goal of this season and his team is still trailing by 1 - 2 at home which is surely disappointed for them and their fans, but we can expect another twist within minutes. Celta Vigo is looking for second win of this season, and they are doing their best, but it's never been easy for any team to have full three points against Barcelona so can Xavi men can do something special in last few minutes of this game or Celta Vigo will be able to have full three points from this game interesting stage of this match right now.

Edit: Robert Lewandowski scored second goal of the match and fifth of the season which bring Barcelona on level with the score of 2 - 2 amazing fight back.

Edit2: Cancelo score third goal and secure win for Barcelona what a comeback 8 minutes three goals amazing stuff from the Xavi men.

The international break is underway from September 4 to September 12 and players will be returning home to defend their respective countries.
I'm just worried that when the players defend their respective countries on FIFA Matchday they'll have some problems after, yes we know that injuries are something that keeps looming over the players, but I hope they'll return to their respective teams ready.
Injury is indeed one of the things that is very feared, because injury is something that comes uninvited and it can happen at any time, not only during the match but even during training, injuries will be very possible, ranging from minor injuries to injuries that must take a long time to recover.
That's going to come down to what type of team you are. If you are a smaller team then you do not have to worry about it because you may not have too many people in the national teams, but if you are a major team then you are going to end up with a lot of the positions going away for the national break.

This means that if there is an injury, bigger clubs are getting a lot more danger. This results with favorites in a game having way too many injured players could cause an upset towards a smaller club. Which is the way we would be making a bank, betting on the smaller club to win. Look at City, they are missing KDB anyway, and if they miss some more, I think they may start to show some cracks in the painting for sure.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 25, 2023, 03:20:50 PM
The reason for PSG to usually fails in the Champions League is mostly because of their unbalanced team and the players they bought just because the players are famous, I think they need to have a better management team and we know other reasons for them to only win French League is because if not having a good competitor in France to make them ready for the harder matches in the champions league.
I agree with you partially because just spending money and having trophies not working they need to be understood ground realities as well which are also important like we have in Manchester City and few other clubs they are using their funds wisely and having better results but here at PSG they are doing all things just with the big names which are surely not guaranteed for the success they also need to work on strategy and better depth between players which bring better rhythm which is also important for the success right now they have good coach now just need to understand few things and allow him for the important changes and also allow him for long term strategy because with this most chances they can fill their dream of having Champions Trophy into their pocket but if they fail with this coach then surely things could be more than worst for them in coming years.
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: August 23, 2023, 08:08:52 PM
I feel like the culture is the reason why there are so many differences. In Germany the culture is that you work hard, and I mean like really really hard, and then when the work is over you can do whatever, whereas in Brazil you work by having fun, the work should become something fun because you spend is much time at work, so it's wiser to make it fun.

I can't say which one works, we have seen Germany beat Brazil 7-1 of course, but we have seen Brazil win the world cup and have a lot of famous players all around Europe as well. I think whatever works for you will work for you and may not work for someone else. What I mean is Germans may not like work becoming "entertainment" because they may feel that is not the purpose, or Brazilians may hate it become dull because they do want to have fun too.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: People don't understand the problem with monetary system. on: August 13, 2023, 06:48:15 PM
nearly all the people that have adopted bitcoin, using it as alternative of fiat money are people who have an understanding of  monetary system  wholly and how bedeviling it (fiat) has been to citizens financial freedom and privacy due to intricacies of government regulatory policies surrounding it.
The other camp don't have an understanding of the problems they are facing under fiat which bitcoin is here to solve.

I agree with you on this statement. Those who truly know the potential of Bitcoin are the ones who are using it on a daily basis. Maybe saying daily basis is a bit too much, but you got the point right. But not everyone that is involved with Bitcoin is here for the same purpose. Most of them are here for the money. This sounds a bit odd but this is the truth. Those who are also here for the things that Bitcoin gives are running for the profits too. I mean why not. If you can make money from something then why not take that opportunity? The majority are not here for the main reason behind the creation of Bitcoin. But even if they are here for the money, they are doing a great job in order to spread Bitcoin to the people.

If they use it once and feel the power that comes with Bitcoin, I think they will get interested in Bitcoin in no time. You never know until you try it. So the main thing would be to get people to use it first. After that, they will understand the problem and get interested in Bitcoin to solve the problem with the monetary system.
Bitcoin would never gain this much popularity or get adopted so widely in such a short time if it wasn't for its volatile nature, people got interested in Bitcoin and started buying when they saw it growing up and not stopping at all. At first, most people didn't believe in it, they said it's useless, it's a criminal currency, it's a bubble that will burst very soon, but as the price started going up further, those who said such things also started buying Bitcoin because they saw they can get profit as well.

So the main reason behind Bitcoin's adoption reaching this level is basically the price it has. Imagine Bitcoin having a not-so-volatile price and staying somewhere below $1,000, it would never have this many people running behind it ever, it could get popular based on its usefulness but that would take so much time.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: risk of centralization of bitcoin. on: August 10, 2023, 06:25:52 AM
Mining pools are businesses relying in bitcoin mining rewards. Attacking the network means suicide for the business and they will do harm than good, i mean they will gain more loss than profit — we are talking of millions of dollars here, so no one on their right mind will do that.
Greed ruins businesses and we have seen that happening on a lot of occasions in the cryptocurrency world. Remember Do Kwon? He owned an amazing project, which was becoming one of the most popular cryptocurrencies in the market, but he became greedy and wanted to earn more money and create more coins and tokens, and that made him lose everything, and the project collapsed badly. We also have Sam Bankman of FTX as an example as well, and many more.

So even if a mining pool has been built investing millions of dollars and they are earning pretty well, they can always think of getting more if they see an opportunity for it. If that happens, it's just the individual miners that can actually back off and save the network from being misused by the pool.

I have been doing fine with F1 as well but the bets are not really that enticing to be fair lol, because I like betting on Max to win whenever I can, if it's there, if the option is available for me to bet on Max to win, then I am right there, every single time. Sure there could be some car trouble and a reliability issue or at the first turn someone may hit him etc etc, like unexpected things may end up happening, plus he is a bit of a maniac that tries risky stuff so he could end up hitting the car as well.

However, aside from any of those things, if the race goes without him having a trouble, then he is going to win. There is no scenario where he finishes the race without any damage and not be the winner, hence it feels easy money.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 26, 2023, 06:42:19 PM
I think Inter Milan have taken a good step after successfully hooking Marcus Thuram, he is projected to replace Dzeko who left for Fenerbahce. I'm pretty sure Thuram will make a positive impact up front alongside Martinez. Apart from that, Inter also looked very aggressive in the summer transfer market, besides Thuram Inter were also able to bring in Azpilicueta for free, even though he is relatively old, his presence will certainly get a good injection of morale for other players. But I hope that Inzaghi will keep Onana under the rule and will not be swayed by tempting offers from other teams. I'm sure if Onana leaves it will be very regrettable in the future.
Still a speculation. I can't deny thuram's stats was pretty good last season but i kinda feel if it may be different when he will be playing in serie a. I don't even know whether this is a good buy or not caused by i will prefer to see inter makes lukaku as permanent transfer rather than try to buy thuram from gladbach. It's caused by lukaku has been fully adapting with serie a while thuram must try to adapt with the environment and competitions in serie a.
This will be far tougher than playing in the farming league like bundesliga.. This makes me think if lukaku will become a better choice rather than buy thuram from gladbach.
I can only hope if it's the right decision from intermilan but lukaku has been able playing perfectly with inter. That means intermilan must also adapt with the new striker.
After having good last season now things looking not positive because two main strikers are going out, and they are going to have another exciting player even his stats are good but still all is too early about this performance with they need to keep Lukaku, but finances are not allowing to have him and Chelsea is also not want to allow for another season on loan which mean they have to decide what to do in the future for this problem.

Inzaghi is currently in some difficult situation but with this all most chances he needs to be calm with selling or swapping Onana is going to be terrible for them and with this situation could be gone from bad to worse for them, but first they also need to have something positive about Lukaku as Chelsea is also in hurry for offloading him and Inter Milan having good season with him even final was not good, but we can forget about one match with having good in all season.

Regrettably, I fell for their seemingly genuine apologies and decided to give them another chance. From Jan 2023 until the current date, I have made substantial deposits totaling $10,000, without receiving any bonuses as promised & a total bonus of $50,000k.
From January 2023 to now is almost 5 months.

May I know why you have been waiting even after your first bonus was getting delayed on your first attempt of availing it?

If I were you, I will start with $50 or $100 and if I am not getting what I was promised then I will leave that places rather than keep trying with same place until my total spending accumulating to $10k.

Well, what are you going to do on a season Liverpool is so bad Cheesy. You just put your effort here instead lol. All kidding aside you are one of the most known people in all of this forum and I keep seeing you in almost every thread and now I know how that's possible, definitely an amazing feat.

Do not look at anyone who says this means nothing, it means a lot, you have spent a good chunk of your time writing and talking to people here, you are one of the reasons why this website stands 10+ years after its creation, without people like you, it would have been gone. And imagine how many people make money from this forum as well, so you are one of the main reasons for dozens and dozens of people affording food for their family. I can't think of anything more to be proud of, you are doing a noble work without a doubt. Congratulations from the bottom of my heart.
352  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 22, 2023, 09:11:59 AM
I never understood why so many campaigns choose the same campaign manager, instead of hiring someone who's dedicated to just their campaign.
Obviously business owners would prefer the experienced and established manager to promote them. So, I guess there would be no wonder on seeing the highly recognized managers with so many campaigns.

It's basically like someone who only shows up for work half the time, and his boss doesn't notice it for weeks until an other employee tells on him.
One of the probable reason could be:
This might be an all-new-kind of scam attempt which falls beyond managers' measurements in terms of scam control and prevention.

The outcome lesson of this scam might be, it is time for managers to run a bot for checking changes in signature codes for all 7 days and 24 hours.

It is amazing that sportsbet.io is going around the world with bitcointalk members and watching games and drinking beers, all around having fun. It is quite important to be this much inside the community so that they could keep having this much attention from gamblers. I am not rich enough to join any of them unless it is in my own nation, but when we are talking about getting more global instead of just England like right now, I feel like there is a potential I may one day join it as well.

This is not a thought only I have, I bet that there are a lot of people who think the same way and that means we are going to end up with a lot of people who will be promoting this place more than they do it to other places as well. This is the success story behind sportsbet.io and steve.

There is absolutely no reason for people to fall against each other here, that doesn't really make any sense at all. I understand that you may not agree with each other, but this is a topic regarding gambler vs casino, no need to turn that into gambler vs gambler.

If a person is having a problem that I never had, my job is not to go around and attacking that person, plus if a gambler is having a problem, it is not right to share it here neither, there are 2 ways, either contact stake themselves which we all know as the first thing to do, and also a scam accusation topic if you have any proof. Both sides should not be here because it is not the right place to get attention, it is just not going to change anything on the long run at all.
355  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: May 19, 2023, 09:31:04 PM
They couldn't save Seria A title and they are struggling to finish in top 3 positions, with 11 defeats in league this season.
I dont think they can save anything, and Inzaghi Simone will have to put bunker to defend against Man City, but they have my respect for reaching Champions League final.

Who is up for some early bets?

https://sportsbet.io/sports/soccer/international-clubs/uefa-champions-league/matches
The early odds shows that chance for Inter Milan in the final match is considered as very small, very smaller than what Manchester City have. I agree that Manchester City deserve to get that respect and the odds simply reflects it. After beating a very tough opponent like Real Madrid in semi final second leg, Manchester City are on fire and they will have their second final match in the last three seasons.

It shows their good improvement in Champions League after the last 10 years with many money spent for their team. With good confidence from a win against Real Madrid, they will have no reason to feel fearful when playing with Inter Milan in the final match.

With a very careful coach like Pep, Manchester City will have good preparation for their final match that is a big opportunity for them to change their club history and carve their name in Champions League history.
Not really shocking though, is it? I mean we all know that City is the very very heavy favorites, doesn't mean they will win, it is just a single game and anything could happen in a single game, and there is no reversal here, you could lose a game in group stages and still go out, you could lose a game after that and win the next game and still go further, you could lose games in the league and still win the title, however this is the finals of UCL so there is no chance to recover if you lose.

So Inter could get lucky, ball bounces right, goalkeeper gets sun on his eyes, defender sprains his ankle right at misfortunate time, we never know what could happen. Let alone all that, we could have City playing worse than they usually do, and Inter playing their best, why not? So, it is still risky without a doubt.
356  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 19, 2023, 12:14:50 PM
I did not understand why you have not returned the money. If you were a legit user then you could return the fund of both campaign managers then you could say sorry hear. And also message both campaign managers. But before doing anything you should return the fund.
Shan85 used different addresses on both of these campaigns and I checked on duelbit campaign sheet where I Shan85's addy got zero balance right now. So, he has to cover with some other balances and I am sorry to say (but as per typical scammers' behaviors) that may happen unlikely. I mean when scammers talk, they are ready to give all the promises and then easily do forget.

And also message both campaign managers. But before doing anything you should return the fund.
I guess, there will not be any problem for these managers to post BTC addresses here to get refunds from Shan85 (as Shan85 is active here). Also, managers may follow what icopress practices:

I would recommend that either of them employ the method of icopress by giving the week's pay to the scam buster.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just how bad is the bear demand right now on: May 09, 2023, 06:46:01 PM
A bear market is when stock prices go down a lot for a while, and this can affect the whole economy. How bad it is can depend on different things like how the economy is react, the political decisions and how people feel about investing. If you're worried about what's going on in the market, you should do your own research to make smart choices. Remember, all investing has risks, so it's good to have a mix of different investments that fit your goals and how much risk you're okay with.
I don't really think that the prices of stocks or global economies have a negative impact on cryptocurrencies or the market in general, it should rather have a positive impact since people turn their faces towards other investment options when one is facing a downfall, so when stocks start dropping, investors probably start looking for alternatives.

We have always seen that whenever there are economic issues, the cryptocurrency market gets more investments since people use it as an edge against inflation and other issues they might face with their money if they keep it as fiat.
358  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your money wisely - another lesson, Techie tries to suicide. on: April 29, 2023, 10:41:40 PM
Though I feel sorry for the guy since he lost a lot of money, it makes me feel annoyed when the source or the token is not mentioned that he invested in. He lost so much money and the news is circulating but there is no mention of what he invested in except the world cryptocurrency, it is obvious that he was a novice and didn't know much at all.

He had either invested in a HYIP or in an altcoin that might have pumped very hard, made him FOMO and he invested all that he could get so that he can also get some profit from the pump, and then it probably dumped badly. Whatever happened, the mainstream media that is against Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general will surely use this news to make a negative image of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Definitely it is going to grow bigger this way. Steve needs our help though, we need to get together and find him a new liver if it goes like this lol. It is obvious that he has been drinking with the fellows for a while now and that is not going to be easy for him if he keeps this up, his future might be a little bleak if he keeps doing this. I hope that he realizes that he can't keep doing this until too old age.

Well, as brits you guys love to do it as much as possible, your life is spent on pubs depending on personality but some people do, but lets help Steve a bit to calm down time to time and not do it back to back too much lol. This is getting to a point where I feel like sportsbet.io is owned by a friend, or at least a friend works there. This is the utmost compliment I can ever make about any sportsbook in my life.
360  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always hide your forum email address after registration. on: April 18, 2023, 03:36:30 AM
I'm not sure why this forum is specifically mentioned for hiding an email address when it's a thing everywhere on the internet. Just don't leave your email address public anywhere, it will almost certainly be misused in some way. The Bitcointalk forum is no special exception.
There are also bounty campaigns that collect email addresses, I believe that many of them have submitted their primary email address.

Even if you take care of all such things, "hacking" of the user base of a large service happens very often, so you can easily be overwhelmed by spam.
Well, services that collect email addresses can always use them for their benefits, they may even sell them to email marketers for money without your consent, or maybe with your consent since you might at some point agreed to their terms of service without even realizing what kind of rights you are giving them about your personal data.

That isn't only for bounty campaigns, but it's for every service that we use on the internet where we provide real and authentic personal information a lot of times. We don't realize what we are doing when we click on the "I agree" button given at the end of every registration page.
