1101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bullrun and correction period on: November 21, 2020, 12:00:32 PM
Just because there has been corrections along the way in almost all increases doesn't mean that it happened in all of them. There has been some that never really had a correction and straight up just went higher, we could be in one of them right now. Definitely there were tiny ones along the way but they were speed bumps and that is about it, they never really cost bitcoin anything and investors anything, they were there to make bitcoin increase a bit slower and that's it.

I feel like we are going to break over 20k very soon, we are close to 19k anyway so reaching 20k shouldn't really be a problem. What will happen afterwards will be the real surprise, breaking over ATH is not something simple and when that happens we will see the real bull or bear run start.
1102  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold mine at 14100 dammitttt on: November 21, 2020, 06:38:29 AM
36k Price range is a pretty reasonable number, but I think we'll look at some market cycles first before continuing the next bull run. Maybe in 2021 bitcoin will be struggling in the price range of 25k-30k
It very well might struggle once the year is over because usually end of the year is the time when the price goes up and as we enter 2021 we might see a small correction then followed by sustaining that amount for months. Hopefully it keeps rising though because everyone profits when bull run continues.

When you see the current movement of bitcoin is on up trend you may consider of hold. Well, you are not the only one who experience selling early. But, if you are in profit already you should feels no regret at all, rather make another plan to buy some and hold long term.
Yeah but he could have easily sold at 28k, which I am expecting before Q2 2021, instead of 14k had he waited a few months so it always hurt.

I am not going to lie, I said there is nothing to worry about for seling at 14k if you made a profit, but I have to readjust that and say ... OUCH. If you didn't get involved again after a while, you have missed out on some major profits, we are talking about 4k per bitcoin or even a lot more if you do margin or future trading.
I hope he did not had many coins because having 1 Bitcoin itself means a lot and 4k loss per BTC hurts but the thing is not many guys have 1 full BTC either. The user did not replied here after 8th November so I wish he is safe and he last posted in his local Turkish section.
1103  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lambo Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 20, 2020, 03:52:52 PM
First of all about the curacao license thing; I trust stake more than I trust curacao, I mean stake is a place I know for years now, way before stake was a thing, I knew them from primedice era so I trust them a lot, plus curacao is a place that gives license to everyone and anyone, I could literally come up with a very bad looking casino with some provably fair and get a casino and everything would cost me under 1000 dollars and I would look legit? I wouldn't look legit at all but I would have that license anyway.

So, stake could lose all of their licenses and can operate without a license at all and I would still trust them. However the second thing is, they have already said (Stunna did) that it was about the raffle and as long as we are patient enough this will be fixed too.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 20, 2020, 01:55:53 PM
I am a long term supporter  of Ethereum and  know that it is the most trusted network to create smart contracts but the kind of Huge fees for withdrawal and swapping of tokens, we have to nowadays due to slow network or congestion , is going to make it unpopular coin in coming months and other networks like, Binance, EOS, Polka Dot may take its place . The issue with Ethereum is that its developers are trying to scale running Blockchain which is like repairing a car while driving.
I think this is a problem that every cryptocurrency is having, and even if other ones you have mentioned now should get to the level that Ethereum currently sits at, they are also going to become the same thing that Ethereum is now and they will be experiencing delays and high fees as the network gets congested.

Ethereum has lots of projects being launched on its network, both the good ones and the bad ones, and they are filling up space, the network is carrying a lot, so sometimes we are going to be experiencing the same thing. It’s just Bitcoin, when the network gets congested it starts experiencing delays and fees increases too.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020... Altseason? on: November 20, 2020, 01:10:03 PM
I definitely agree that the altseason may come a bit later. First we need to reach to a point where bitcoin no longer can support going any higher, right now it is still going higher and even if it gives breaks a bit, it is still going higher after the break. Which is why I think it is highly important that we realize first we need bitcoin to stop going up.

After bitcoin stops going up people will try to keep it high for a while and that moment is the transition period to altcoins, with altcoins not breaking its own ATH but bitcoin breaking over ATH, it will suddenly look like altcoins are the way to make more money now that bitcoin is not going up. All of which could take as much as 6 months but could happen in a day or in a year as well depending on when bitcoin stops.
1106  Economy / Economics / Re: Still confused why bitcoin is so bullish? on: November 20, 2020, 10:10:08 AM
One way or another, the pandemic forced humanity to reconsider many aspects of its life, including the attitude to their savings and the value of all common assets. In addition, completely new demands from people are arising from the government, and in this regard, the leaders of the countries will have to make appropriate decisions. Based on this, alternative assets, which are cryptocurrencies, are more valuable than national currencies. It is thanks to the pandemic and the economic crisis that Bitcoin is gaining attention again and thanks to this its value increases.
That’s right, everything that happened this year changed our mind and the way we do things, and it certainly brought people’s attention to digital money (cryptocurrency). Plus, the fact that Bitcoin was still fast to recover after the pandemic hits the stock market.

With its high level of growth, companies started to jump on it, and were buying Bitcoin as of their reserve assets and that helped in creating a boost for the price that was already heading all the way up. We have seen so many news, Grayscale invested in Bitcoin twice, and PayPal also introduced it to their customers.
1107  Economy / Economics / Re: new central banks currenicies vs fiat currency? on: November 20, 2020, 04:44:37 AM
This is why I am in crypto world, I prefer to stay in crypto world because I feel like this is where I am taking the control over my own finances and I will continue to do that as long as I can afford to. I am planning on getting a crypto card soon as well, that way I will be capable of spending as much crypto as I want anywhere I go without the need to cash out to fiat.
Make sure to buy the card from a provider who does not charge much on each deposit because I remembering purchasing a virtual card with Bitcoins which could be loaded with Bitcoins but they charged too high of fees and the card was working on some merchants but not all.

I don't think that's how it is but rather government from every local country is trying to understand the way crypto currency is behaving. They surely amazed why a thing like this in a decentralized space captivate the attention of the world.
The government might be considering their own token because of the interest and investment coming into the Bitcoins but they need to understand that Bitcoins is so popular because it cannot be traced and while not meant to be for illegal activities but a lot of illegal betting and sales happen via help of Bitcoins.
1108  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Treasuries on: November 19, 2020, 03:36:30 PM
You stand correct: the infamous 500,000 BTC Grayscale “owns” are merely custody of their client’s money. That is, the profit of Grayscale is not from the profit of the AUM going up or down, but only for the 2% management fee they collect every year (of course this 2% is greater, for various reasons, when Bitcoin rallies, but this is another reasoning).
If they are taking 2% management fee from their clients, with current rate of bitcoin, the 2% of the client’s 500,000 BTC that are currently in their possession will fetch them around $180 million! So, that’s really a big amount. That aside, whether they are the owners of the 500k BTC or it belongs to clients, it’s still doesn’t change the fact that the money was invested in Bitcoin.

So, it’s still going to boost the market in some ways, and I can’t wait to see that happen soon. The op was talking about how the money that’s being invested can help the BTC market to keep rising.
1109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof - The long Hodl on: November 19, 2020, 03:02:10 PM
Most of the people (investors) are scared of how long it would take before the price goes up, and that’s because they want quick profit but it doesn’t work that way, this requires the level of patience which most of them don’t have at all. As for some of them the case is that they don’t have the money to invest, so they have no other choice than to stay clear from it.

And for this new bull market, I have already invested. With the experience I had with the last bull market, I am able to do the right thing now, and I am sure I am not going to miss. I didn’t miss the last time and I am not going to do this time around too lol Grin.
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What made yoi think of investing in bitcoin at the current market? on: November 19, 2020, 01:33:13 PM
When the market is increasing there is usually FOMO and it’s making people to rush and invest. That’s the answer to your question, FOMO is the cause of the rush as price goes up. It’s just like the same thing that happens when the price is falling, when the price of the market is falling there will be fear and people will be selling.

Fear and Greed are the two things that are controlling the market, and it’s always best to utilize these two in making decisions for yourself; buy when people are afraid and sell when they are being greedy, when they are afraid is when the market price will be cheap, so that’s the best time to buy.
1111  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: November 19, 2020, 12:53:44 PM
Isn't it easier to just connect to the Sportsbet site trough your mobile phone using mobile data network? That is what I am doing in situations when I have to periodically check something. I suspect you have other reasons to go to the bar restaurant and use above as an excuse for yourself  Wink
Yeah it is much easier to browse the site from the mobile app at first I was struggling so much to use the app since you're automatically logged out after exiting the app then I found out that you can quickly bypass the 2fa and quickly log in with the fingerprint.
I haven't used the app much although installed yet but seems like everyone is loving the app maybe it is time for me to switch to the app as well. I hope cashout and other features remain in the app as well as they are in the web version.

The addition of clubhouse has actually been a great addition I would say because I always get 100-200 TRX from each level as I progress as I bet mainly with TRX and it is really amazing because at times I am bust and I just leave my bonuses unclaimed in the clubhouse intentionally for these bust times so I can claim and get going with those amounts.
1112  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com |Instant BTC & ETH withdraws | Live Games & Slots! |Rakeback | VIP| on: November 19, 2020, 12:19:38 PM
It seems that duelbits is my luckiest casino this year, I have made good profit so far. Both from the events and from normal playing Smiley I wish my luck continues as long as possible here, good thing is that I love how fast duelbits process withdrawal.
Nice to see others having good luck on doghouse megaways because this casinos has always been nice to me too and actually you may want to try money train 2 because it is really good and you can get huge multipliers once you hit the free spin rounds.

If you need link, here it is - https://duelbits.com/slots/relax:MoneyTrain2

I was not into slots much earlier but since I started playing a few, I feel like slots are the best option for me because dice was getting boring and sports betting was never profitable for me.
1113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be hitting to $35000 soon - Buy it today!! on: November 19, 2020, 11:40:39 AM
It has been a long time since many recommended buying bitcoin because it is a promising investment, but they ignore it because of its low value. But when there is a strong buy signal until the increase occurs consistently every day, they just realize and buy at the price is being pumped. Regardless of the high price that will be reached later, the most important thing is to prepare for it and I think buying now is still the right time, because if the price is even higher I think it is very risky because a decline can occur at any time and be careful.
Completely agreed on that. People often wait for the price to drop a little before they buy some and this strategy is not worth it right now because the bull run is continued for a long time now and even if you are buying at current price then you will end up praising that decision because it will continue to rise until the end of the month.

I am quite sure $35k is not impossible although not realistic this year at least. I believe we might see $50k talks soon once we enter 2021 and the price takes another leap towards moon.
1114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I study to learn how to trade? on: November 19, 2020, 10:09:28 AM
Can someone point me to where I should begin?
And one more question: What is the minimum amount of money needed to start?

I will begin with the answer to the question about the minimal amount. You can spend less than 100 dollars and start trading already. However, before, you will need to learn everything about cryptocurrencies. It will take you months, but it is worth spending time.
You know what, I will rather suggest to invest the $100 into a new altcoin project maybe and try to earn at least $500-1000 before you get into crypto trading because $100 is too small and a trader might lose all the money in fees and other stuffs.

Yes you can start with $100 but spare a thought how would you feel trading all day and earning like $20 per month because 20% ROI is hard and you cannot expect more than that with a new trader.

I think a lot of traders lose their interest because they do not get sufficient profits and hence I would strongly suggest to at start with $500 if you are serious and consider it as a long term option.
1115  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2017 - 2020. Better price not yet to come. Be careful on: November 18, 2020, 04:25:14 PM
There is a problem with a lot of crypto people and the market itself that makes going higher a very difficult challenge. The idea of a good trade would be buying at 4k levels during march when the price dropped, and selling it now or a bit later when the price goes up.

However with that logic if everyone bought at 4k that would make the price go up instantly, which means only a handful of people bought there, and it also means if people sell now that the price is high, or later when price is higher, that would make the price crash. So, that means there needs to be a lot of people who buys at high prices to keep it going, for example in order for us to be $20k, there needs to be hundreds of millions of dollars bitcoins bought at 16k price as well, so we are telling people to do exactly opposite of what they should do in order for market to continue going up.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I could consider staking if .... on: November 18, 2020, 10:00:33 AM
Guys is there any way to stake coins in your very own wallet without sending to another wallet? Is there any project or blockchain that allows staking in door only? Please share because I can't sleep at night sending my coins to other wallet for staking returns
All the staking wallets or exchanges I know wouldn’t let you stake in a private wallet, you will have to stake in a wallet that’s provided on their platform, apart from that there is no other way that you can do it.

But, I just checked a comment here that recommended a DeFi project that does what you’re asking for, but I am not really getting the calculations they were making there lol. Maybe you should look into it, it seemed legit. But you can still buy anything like Ethereum, Bitcoin, or other good cryptocurrencies and store them in your wallet and make profit as the price grows.
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lebanon to launch digital currency in face of economic and financial turmoil on: November 18, 2020, 09:04:47 AM
Lebanon’s central bank plans to launch a new digital currency in 2021 as part of a broader effort to combat a parallel economic and financial crisis that has engulfed the country.  READ THE COMPLETE DETAILS HERE: https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2020/11/14/lebanon-to-launch-digital-currency-in-face-of-economic-and-financial-turmoil/
Y’know, I don’t really get all these ideas of government creating digital currency or cryptocurrencies, what exactly are these digital currencies, what is the purpose they are meant to serve? Is it an asset that the government will be selling to citizens and they will be buying it in form of an investment or is just another copy of the fiat money? I don’t see the use for this.

The conventional currencies we have can already be used electronically when you have a bank account. Banks these days has their mobile apps that you can use to send money to anyone, and there are POS terminals that allows people to pay with their cards in shops, etc. So, I’m still yet to understand why.
1118  Other / Archival / Re: 6 Most Popular Criticisms Of Bitcoin on: November 18, 2020, 08:33:02 AM
Starting with the number one criticism which is volatility, I have never had any problem with that, and I think everyone should understand by now that the volatility is part of what makes it interesting, and we know that with time it’s going to reduce.

People only complain about volatility when they are losing, but if they are in a position where they are making lots of profit they are never going to complain about the volatility lol, I have seen such people. Then as for the second point, I totally disagree with that one, Bitcoin didn’t fail as a method of payment, it still remains one of the best methods of transaction.
1119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Reaches 85% of Binance.US Volume on: November 18, 2020, 08:01:52 AM
So from what I have heard the PayPal doesn’t let people move their bitcoins to another wallet, and that it’s not an actual Bitcoin we will be buying from it, it’s just going to be like some token or something and they will be lying to the people that it’s real Bitcoin while they won’t be able to send their bitcoins to another person or a different wallet that they own.

The only thing people will be doing is just HODL it on the PayPal platform and nothing more, you can’t do anything with it. With that I would say that it all doesn’t make any sense, because it would have been best if they allowed people to do more with it, that would have also helped in the adoption.

Majority of the world has already acknowledged Biden and Harris as the POTUS and VP. Even the official results are matching the projections currently. This isn't similar to Gore vs Bush.
And I heard that even Trump finally accepted that Biden won but still wasn't ready to concede defeat. I believe it was excellent decision to pay Biden bets because it is obvious he won and Trump is not going to turn tables at all most likely so stake made a fair call but they should or could have settled Trump bets as lost because he lost on count anyways and if election fraud is found that is a different story altogether.

Majority of the world has already acknowledged Biden and Harris as the POTUS and VP. Even the official results are matching the projections currently. This isn't similar to Gore vs Bush.
I respect both but the sportsbet settled my bet on Gerogia state results as lost despite the fact that counting was still going on and when i contacted support they said that's the official result.
