1181  Other / Archival / Re: European institutional investors are interested in cryptocurrencies on: October 31, 2020, 05:44:38 AM
Their interest keeps growing. When I checked the survey pictures you posted, the first one made me laugh because I noticed that there were up to 31 percent that said their company invested in Bitcoin in 2018, and that’s at the time after the bull run.

So the bull run that happened in 2017 really broke records and drew the world’s attention to Bitcoin, and that’s why there are many of them that invested in 2018, maybe they thought the boom will continue, but unfortunately for them it didn’t. The percentage goes low for 2019 and 2020, they just stayed back to watch and see how really things are moving. But this year has seen a lot of big institutions come to invest in Bitcoin.
1182  Economy / Economics / Re: The pros and cons of going cashless on: October 31, 2020, 04:58:38 AM
The biggest con I see from having no cash is it becomes so much harder for the least fortunate in society - namely the homeless, to make a living on the streets. There are many desperate people who have very few options and when the one source of money from kind strangers passing by is taken away, it is going to be absolutely devastating for them. I think going cashless is ultimately going to be a good thing for society, but a safety net needs to be set up and these people need to be given the tools to survive without bank notes.
It touches to know that someone can even think like that because not many care for the most needy people of the society. But to be honest having cashless society also means more tips for the daily wages workers like delivery person because most of the companies have an option to add tip for the delivery partner and when spending cash we sometimes don't want to spend more but having added a few extra cents or a dollar during payment does not hurt. I mean you order a pizza worth $5.5 then you can happily pay $0.5 for the delivery partner but if you order by cash it is often not the case.

I feel like there are more benefits and pros than the cons in this case and while we must care for the needy people but they must not be the sole reason behind the progress of the society as a whole.
1183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the crypto market saturated? on: October 30, 2020, 08:00:08 PM
Depending on how everyone views the crypto market, There are those who think that the crypto market is saturated because
many new projects have sprung up without a clear use, will only make people waste time and spend money on project scams.
There are also people who think that emerging new projects can provide alternatives to be profitable. I am one of the neutral
ones, because in my opinion it depends on our analytical skills in selecting projects. If we can choose profitable projects,
therefore the crypto market is not very saturating.
This is what could potentially cut down on the development of things like blockchain technology. Let them do whatever they want, if there are people who are willing to invest money we should not stop it, but when you let the cash flow that means people who could actually build something that is unheard of and other people who would build on top of that will eventually make it much much bigger.

This is exactly why I believe crypto market could never be saturated ever, since I believe all the new things put on top of the old one and build something much better, when you look at a new coin today and new coin yesterday they could look similar, but when you look a coin from a year ago and a coin from today even the bad ones of today looks much better. It is going to be thousands of coins a month every month in order to have a much better coin in the future.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Harvest Finance loses 34 million due to bug/hack on: October 30, 2020, 07:26:38 PM
This is why I like the idea of companies hiring white hat hackers to test their systems, this process will help them to always identify problems or bugs that they are having, but some of them wouldn’t do that, instead they will be taking unnecessary risks that will eventually lead to them being hacked and losing lots of millions of dollars and they will start calling out bounties lol.

Prevention is always better than cure, but they never know this until their systems are hacked, because they think that they are wiser and brilliant, which is very wrong.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Even huawei refused to be left out on: October 30, 2020, 06:38:46 PM
This is really good, dual offline transaction? It’s like one of the best thing I’m seeing today. That means crypto users who owns the Huawei Mate 40 will be able to share cryptocurrency while their offline. I have seen some people ask for a feature like this, and now they will be having it in this phone.

The number one point you made: digital RMB hardware wallet, I guess that will be something like Trezor and Nano DS wallets? Hardware level security and the anonymity control protection are another good option. Although the problem here is that Huawei no longer have access to making use of the Google Android software due to being banned by the US. I don’t know how good their new OS would be, and whether it will be reliable.
1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 30, 2020, 06:07:17 PM
Westbrook and Giannis could be the worst pairing of all time in history of pairing stars. They are both players who are fiercely attacking the drive and try to dunk or pass out, they are not shooters and they would be hurting the teams space, if you combine them both at the same time you are going to end up seeing a ton of clogged paint that will hurt them enough to have a horrible offensive year.

I understand that Bucks failed miserably last year and they want to change something to make it a lot better for Giannis this year, but they just need to keep focusing on getting smaller pieces into bigger instead of changing the whole idea. Sure if you can get Klay Thompson instead of Kris Middleton that is better, but you do not get a Dunker instead of Kris Middleton, that is not how growing better works at all.
1187  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 30, 2020, 09:03:58 AM
I had another bad run at trying to claim the free bonus Cheesy I have to learn by now that whenever I try to claim the free bonus on betting I end up with zero instead of having extra lol Cheesy. But it is just so much more fun, you end up like with 100k satoshi and it gives you like another 100k satoshi so for 200k satoshi all you have to do is wager a bit and if you can wager that much you have all of that money, you do not even have to win all the time, you just don't have to lose more than 50%, the idea is amazing and simply impossible to pass up.

However I ended up with tons more reward points, and tons more lottery tickets and few lambo tickets as well which I can safely say that it was totally worth it, and if I end up winning anything on the weekly lottery? That means I will be in profit too.
1188  Economy / Economics / Re: Better Days ahead for the economy of developing countries in Africa on: October 30, 2020, 06:00:29 AM
That’s good, if this can create opportunities and help Nigeria and other developing countries in Africa, then I’d love to see it. That apart, the case of corrupt officials is a serious issue that I think they have to tackle. They might be getting better opportunities, but having corrupt officials will still hinder their progress. Believe me, whenever there are good things coming into the country, their corrupt leaders, due to their own selfish needs will be blocking those progress from coming into the country.

So, it’s best that they first take down these bad leaders any way they can to pave way for better leaders who will do better things. Having good leaders matters a lot in the progress of any country.
1189  Economy / Economics / Re: Down Jones intrinsic values?? on: October 30, 2020, 04:29:02 AM
Everyone thinks that there is a supply and demand that makes something 2x more in price right? That is not all there is to it, there is a ton of money spend on marketing, on branding, on manhours, effort put into it all of that costs money to apple, they didn't become success overnight, you can build a phone for 450 dollars or more today, make much much better phone and still fail to sell for 999 dollars, those are costs put into the company and not the product but they are still costs.
Yep, many people are fond of neglecting the fact that companies has to invest more money in marketing and advertising. A company can create good products but without adverts it will be heading nowhere, it will just get stuck in their hands. So, that’s why companies never stop advertising and promoting their products and a lot of money goes into that, even the biggest companies ,companies that you think have gotten to the highest top still runs advertisement because of how important it is.

So, all these things goes into calculation in determining the price of the product. That it cost them $450 doesn’t mean they would sell for $600 or so, they will sell higher to cover their cost in other ways.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: October 30, 2020, 03:43:14 AM
It is not about polls or not even about news media, it is all about data that you can collect that is probably true that should allow you to see what you can in the results, obviously the only true situation that you should accept the results would be the official ones, when the results are in we will all know what is going on, before that you should never assume anything, not a month ago, not a year ago and not a week before the elections neither, anything could happen.

Right now all the pointers are showing Biden winning, not just because Biden is a good candidate, which I think he is maybe decent at best, not even good but he doesn't look terrible neither, but mainly because there are A LOT MORE trump haters today than there were 4 years ago, polls are showing millions of people vote "against trump" instead of "for Biden" and many experts say that this could be enough for Biden to win, as long as people hate trump, the only option is Biden and he could become president just because there was no other candidate not named trump.
1191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 29, 2020, 04:34:33 PM
~
Yes you're right. We may see some good correction from here. Many experts said btc may move after touching lower low to higher high.
We might see a correction before the big rally and i can only tell by the way in which the market reacted the last two times after halving, months of struggles breaking the resistance and then having corrections many times and then the market just skyrockets as if there is no resistance at all. This was the experience in the past but i am not expecting similar moves but still a rally is around the corner.
Just hoping that the correction is not too big because at times there is a big drop followed by a correction and that scares me. But then there are so many positive news like Paypal has opened their door for crypto which no matter what one says is a lifetime achievement for bitcoins because one big problem we all faced was to how to buy bitcoins with PP as one can easily dispute transactions which meant it was hard to find a way to buy bitcoins using PP but now that they themselves have allowed this, it's massive!

I just wish and pray that the correction is small and is again taken over by the bull run sooner and right now the movement of bitcoins is giving me positive goosebumps because it is only going up Cool.
1192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the bitcoin price range as we enter the New Year on: October 29, 2020, 04:02:26 PM
I'm starting to think that Bitcoin could creep above the $15,000 marker, especially with the increase in recent weeks. This will tend to create a snowball effect and fear of missing out. People who saw the last spike will want to get in on the action and are sick of low savings rates on offer with mainstream banks. It could be a very interesting time for Bitcoin in the next few months.
Yeah true, the poll results were influenced late by the price surge we saw lately. The 16-18k slab was looking like not many people believed in it but now we see some healthy number of votes on it.

My $12,001 - $14,000 might be looking a bit conservative right now. Sentiment has totally flipped bullish, it could be a fair bit higher (I certainly hope so).
Not your fault because we all thought that range was the best possible option but the late surge has changed the mindset for everyone including me because now it seems like what was looking hopeful earlier is now realistic and within range.

Bitcoin market is so funny and when price drops I saw so many articles talking negative but as the price now rises everyone is pep talking about the price. I loved the poll you created because 100+ votes gave a fair estimation of the market expectations.
1193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Algeria must use bitcoin on: October 29, 2020, 12:02:28 PM
All over African continent? But there are already countries in Africa that are making use of cryptocurrency, your country just chose to ban it. I know of some countries where cryptocurrency, and not just only Bitcoin, is legal and to mention a few we have Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Botswana, Kenya, and Botswana.

So, there are already countries there in Africa that are making use of crypto and Nigeria just launched its first Bitcoin ATM, I think that was earlier this year around May or so, can't remember exactly. So other countries should follow in their footsteps and legalize cryptocurrency in their own country. I hope that what you guys are fighting for there becomes a success.
1194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missed the golden opportunity, now what?? on: October 29, 2020, 10:41:01 AM
You're not the only person, lots of people missed that opportunity, and i also nearly missed it. But, that doesn't mean you should feel discouraged. I discuss about Bitcoin with people and when they study about it and see that the price has increased so far more than what it was at first, they start losing interest because they feel they are not going to achieve anything with it again, they feel it's too late to join, but that's wrong.

Well, if you can't invest now and hold for the next ten years, what makes you think you can invest back then and hold it till now? So it's best to accept things just as they , invest and embrace the technology and use it for how good it is. If you're lucky, in future there might be another opportunity for you to gain more from it.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dash undervalued? on: October 29, 2020, 09:27:53 AM
I am well aware of Dash to be a good cryptocurrency, but there are hardly anyone making use of it. It's a normal thing with a lot of cryptocurrencies, they are good, but they are undervalued. You can take a look at XRP, they have a really good plan and they have succeeded in working out many partnerships, but despite that, the crypto is still not that much valued. There are still more, and you can take Tron as another example.

So, there are good projects and they might still not be at the level you expect. But I believe that with time they are going to grow, and it's going to be when cryptocurrency has gotten much adoption, these projects will be at the forefront.
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DLRS Airdrop. Your opinion. on: October 29, 2020, 08:45:33 AM
The time I came to know about yobit exchange was when they were being accused by a lot of people for being scam. They later made some changes, but despite that I have not had interest in the exchange. If you're making use of their exchange and you're seeing such ads that you believe are too good to be true, then you should question their customer support and know from them if the ad you're seeing is true that you're going to be getting $1,700 after you sign up.

From their reply you will know whether there is something shady about the business or not. And always stay clear from any exchange you don't trust. I can't be making use of an exchange when I don't trust them, can't be in fear all the time.
1197  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 28, 2020, 06:54:08 PM
^That is the thing about the crash game, there is technically speaking to ceiling to it at the top, it could go on obviously for insanely high, sure it will have to end some day, not like we can have a forever number that never stops because it has to stop one day, but "technically" speaking we could have a number that goes up for days without stopping, now that is so rare that you could count it like strike by lightning 100 times in a row back to back type of situation, but it is "technically speaking" possible.

So, all those big wins are definitely in the game itself and you could wait for them, I know a ton of people who have auto cash out at 999x for example, it is rare and barely ever happens but all it takes is more frequently than once in a thousand tries and you are making a bank on it.
1198  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 28, 2020, 03:49:39 PM
There were only 5 corners all game, interesting to see obviously but that one probably made buwaytrees not get the reward he was expecting to get, others with card, salah, all worked out. Plus he had win both halves and the half time was 0-0 as well, so that shouldn't be winning neither. I don't know what else, that was about it.

But good news is that he wanted the team to win and they won, it was a silly team when you compare it to a team like Liverpool so I never had any doubt but Liverpool had such an amazing year last year that they look like they are both fatigued from doing the same thing, becoming boring and also they are figured out a bit as well by many teams and how to counter. They are at that level where 2009 Barcelona was unstoppable but finally football evolved around beating them and they got worse.
1199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DEX : How to survive token price on launching on: October 27, 2020, 08:08:15 PM
A true bounty hunter shouldn't look behind, there is a bounty and there is a reward for that bounty and when you get the reward your ties with the bounty team is over so you are not responsibility for the price at all.

If the team wants to keep the price higher, they should constantly have some bounties, if others sell there should be more marketing to make more people buy, but if you want to give people money for their work and you also want them to think that it would go super high and should hold it, you have to find someone else then people who are willing to do few hours of work for either almost no money, or potentially a job that won't even pay. This is the reason why I keep saying that the token price launch dump is something regular for every single project and will always happen.
1200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: October 26, 2020, 09:50:39 PM
how long will be above 12k this time?
For quite sometime and maybe forever because the worst phase in the market is already been spanned out and Bitcoin held strong during time when everything was falling so this shows signs of the future price as now the market starts getting more stable and the price of bitcoin might reach some all time high values.

the problem was last year and 5 years before we didn't face this pandemu, so of course the situation will change because it concerns global economic issues, and whether the crypto market will not be affected by this, then will history still be the same as in previous years.
The bitcoin market was indeed affected by this pandemic but gladly the price held strong and now moving nicely as the effect of the pandemic diminishes slowly but surely.
