501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be open to any possibility on: August 16, 2022, 08:12:39 AM
Imagine me creating a topic in 2017 asking if doge coin can hit 0.70$ some day the answer would have been NO from almost everyone, what I have learnt from crypto projects is no matter how stupid a coin looks and you need to get out because its not doing fine always leave a bit behind, I sold all my doge coin 120k before 2021 bull market and left only 1067 Doge coin in my wallet, learn from my mistake.
This is common huge misconception made by newbies because they think what happen from the past might also happen in future and remember that there are so many shitcoins created that's why much better if you invest then take profit rather than believing such another story which is somehow impossible to happen on new tokens created. But if you can take a huge risk about doing that well its up for you to try if you want to figure out if you became rich or get broke in future.
Well it did really happen again. Take shiba inu for example. It came out after the doge coin's noise and shib did also experience some good pumps. There are then more meme coins came out but none of them follow the success of shib and doge. You still have a point there. Maybe not all times history repeat can itself.

Sometimes all what we need is a luck, to grab a potential coin on time and then sell it on time before it collapsed. For top coins I think they only need a little bit of luck but knowledge and skill is what matters with them the most. Op is still blessed because he still left out with 1k plus doge coins Cheesy. I think its value was still decent even up to now.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 15, 2022, 06:36:20 PM
I think the result against Fulham is not bad. Liverpool made 2 goals even though in the result they had to share the points.
Crystal Palace, I don't think, has a chance. but their chance is when Liverpool has a problem with their squad. and I think Liverpool are very ready for their second game.
Liverpool will be more productive from now on. because the next meeting is United. who started the season very badly.
Yes, Man U are very unlucky this season and there are already a lot of jokes about them... If they lost their first two games to the underdogs, and even 4-0 to Brentford, then what will happen against Liverpool... Man U will probably continue to have problems in the third game... And I think the club might change coaching staff again... Because the management were clearly hoping for the opposite results...
Manchester United is still where they end last season nothing positive happening even having some good significant number of changes Brentford defeat by score of 4 - 0 is telling all story about their future with now they are going to face mighty Liverpool in third match where they have no enough chances for win or draw and these three defeats in first three matches of new season is surely going to be the worst start of the season for them and with this as peoples feeling they are going to chance coaching staff most chances it's not going to happen because management is also understanding all things, and they will give some good time to new coach for having some good results but still their defense is the worst in top class and just because of this they are at bottom of the league table.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 15, 2022, 11:21:39 AM
As long as James Anderson is fit, he will be in the team and i doubt even he is having any plans to retire until he reaches the milestone of 700 wickets. Either way it is an outstanding career and i never expected him to play this long being a fast bowler as majority would retire at 35 years and James Anderson is going forward even at 40 years which is incredible.
Right now James Anderson is super fit and available for test cricket which mean there is nothing special happen for anyone with this all ECB is also not in rush to bring something good for replacing him, but good thing is still going with these two legendary bowlers now they are bringing few others as well which are giving good results like we have in last series against New Zealand and India Mathew Pots and Ollie Robinson these two are also performing good and can go through for some more time with take good experience and then can do better after these legendary bowlers will be retired a good combination and system which is going to help England for long time in test format.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying house with fake tokens on: August 14, 2022, 07:14:03 PM
If this is true the buyer should be the scammed victim because no real documents were passed on to him, he sent tokens to owners and he believed that he is the real owner? Where is the proof that he is the owner? Kinda case that gets solved easily in courts.
It didn't mention that no documents were handed but maybe it is handed because the attempt is successful with millions worth of house area already recorded but let say if what you were saying is true then both of them have no gains then because one handed fake tokens while the other one handed a fake document. That is what you called bad karma. They get it because of their bad deeds but that's only lite.

There is no big consequences with it because both party won't have the courage to take this to the court or to the authority as they are also guilty and afraid that their bad deeds are going to be find out. Cases like these where fake tokens are involved isn't new anymore but it also happened before on lending businesses where a borrower sends fake tokens as collateral.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin price important? on: August 14, 2022, 09:42:01 AM
The price of Bitcoin has increased to $24,000 few hours ago, showed that the price will definitely reach $50,000 before the end of this month for people to use the opportunity to recover from their losses.
it doesn't "show" anything. all it shows is what happened. nothing more. this type of irresponsible statements is what cause newbies to load up on a sure thing. also it's alot harder for bitcoin to double in price than it is for a lower priced coin all other things being equal, due to the amount of money required to move it. so keep that in mind.
It did show an increase but can you tell us if what exactly that thing you are looking for in bitcoin? Is it the bull run? Well don't worry because we will come on that phase soon. Can't really agree with you when you say his comments are irresponsible because anyone is free here to make their own predictions and it's only up to the reader if they will agree on it or not. It's the investors responsibility what happens with their funds, not other people.

Also, it's more easier now for bitcoin to double or triple its price because its value right now is cheap. Its supply is limited and it's more scarce than those coins who have a big and unlimited supply but if it's possible for their price to move upwards then why not bitcoin?
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the Governments Planned to Keep the Limited 21 Millions BTC in Their Custody on: August 13, 2022, 06:09:41 PM
But in reality it is not possible, they cannot buy all the bitcoins because if they need to buy all the bitcoin then they need infinite amount of cash so infinite is unachievable so acquiring 21 million bitcoin is also not possible even by all the governments combined together.
It is impossible not because of limited cash but because some bitcoins are already lost and out of circulation it's either the owner of those coins are dead already or they miss typed their address and send the bitcoins to an unknown address resulting for the coins to get lost forever. I am not only sure tho if burning process occurs here in bitcoin like in other coins but that's another way for some of the supply to lessen.

Btc is volatile and its value can drop very low, if that happens then it will now be easier for them to buy more bitcoins but I still don't think they will do that because they are known to be anti bitcoin and they even built their own version of bitcoin.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can crypto go lower than 95% on: August 13, 2022, 03:20:00 PM
If you look at luna which was at good price gone to zero then become useless so you can say any crypto can not only go 95% down even they can go to zero. Any project lost usecase in this society will never pick up in price. Sometimes project start with good purpose but team members couldn't executed plans.
When you say any, it includes bitcoin but I don't think bitcoin can drop that much and even if there are so many new altcoin and tokens right now, the use case of btc are still there and it was still being considered the most. When you look on online shops or even in the offline ones, btc is the main coin that they are supporting and I rarely see they accept other coins. I think this is because btc is the first so it was also more popular than the rest.

There's actually projects without use cases, take meme coins for example but it's still possible for their values to rise. It's important to follow the coin you are investing so that you will know if the teams are still dedicated to improve it, if not then you can quit early before it collapse.
508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: August 13, 2022, 12:23:43 PM
In gambling, you will wager a certain amount of money hoping to win a game and therefore make a profit out of it through your winnings.while In case of trading if we put our money in the stock market, we might invest in a certain stock with the hopes that it will increase in value in the future and thus make you a profit too. If a person trades only to win, it is likely gambling.
With correct knowledge and strategy, we can earn decent money from the markets and that,s called trading
That if we are talking about the stock market but we are here in crypto so the one that we will be using is cryptos. Investing is more on a passive side but this is not included in this topic anymore as the op only said trading. People do trading because they want to earn a profit and not to have fun. Trading cryptos are very risky because cryptos are highly volatile than the stock but both are still considered to be a gambling because we can't predict accurately if when will the price head to.

The only main difference of gambling is that you can have fun along with earning some profit but many people disregard it as it's hard to win in gambling.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 truths about bitcoin, in my opinion? on: August 13, 2022, 11:29:40 AM
Totally disagree with point no. 1 in present situation. Why I am saying that if you buy at 69K and selling it on 17K then how become you rich. Suppose you enter in a market when BTC was up to 60 or 65K then become a rich person is your dream. And above sample is also for long term. Now if it cross to his next higher then it will be beneficial for you. Your second point is valid as BTC will be used as a currency in near future.
But who buys in 69k anyway? That price is the ath of btc and no one will risk during that times. People are waiting for a moment like this where prices are dropping before they accumulate and then they will wait again for another bull run before they sell but that doesn't mean that they will now be rich. Being rich is not easy.

Btc is already being used a currency. I only don't agree when he says that bitcoin is relatively stable because we know that it is highly volatile. Some on his list are a fact but some are just a myth like on his number 3. Btc can't save the world lol, that's crazy. We shouldn't expect too much only for just a digital currency.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing Potential projects on: August 12, 2022, 03:55:52 PM
That's not easy to identify new projects have a good potential, by do research, team roadmaps white papers, it is also not enough. Lately investors are rarely interested in new projects, if you OP want to invest in new projects my suggest it's better to hold on and monitor first progress of the project you're aiming, or more suggestions from me better invest in old projects that already have potential.
I can attest to that, if you are monitoring a project do it at least for one complete year and if possible through a bear and a bull market. Most companies do well in the start and crash down during a bear market only to never recover back again.

Hence it can a good yardstick to measure their sustainable model.

Most projects will die out in a few months or so, as far as I have seen. A few others run for a couple of years and then dry out.
If you wait that long, there are two possibilities that could happen. First off is you see it as a good project with no fundamental problems and you buy it during bear and you sell it during bull markets. Secondly, you would be too late, and it will go down and not be anything important ever again, no super high increase in the price, and you would be regretting not buying very early on and selling a bit later.

I would say that the second one is a risk, and you would end up with regret for not making profit while looking at it, but you should be glad not to be holding it when it goes down. First one is easier, because you know it will do well eventually.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about altcoin market on: August 12, 2022, 02:59:50 PM
Altcoins are always dynamic, if the majority of top ranking including bitcoin are red then there is a positive Altcoin market because the official number of Altcoins registered in the market is more than 20K, there is always an opportunity for profit so that I think the Altcoins market is always more interesting and profitable.
i don't think that will be a good perspective when there's a such situation in the market, i mean you can say it's positive. because as far as i know most altcoins are affected if those have big market cap is red also. So for me it's quite skeptical to jump in.. Where in much better to make TA so that you can get significant information about the current situation of alts in the market.
If you are sceptical about jumping into alts right now, then you will never be able to maximize your profits. The prices are low right now and that means that you will be able to profit from the current situation, that matters a lot.

But, if you are aiming at something that is a bit riskier, then you are going to end up with a bit of a problem because it would mean that you will buy it when going up, instead of going down like this. If you buy going up, then it means it could drop right afterwards and make you purchase at the top, but if you buy when it’s going down then you could buy at the bottom and it could go back up which would make you a lot more profit that way.
512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Day Trading be profitable in Crypto ? on: August 11, 2022, 09:06:11 PM
To all the plebs like me who read all the trading "advice" in the topic, first ask the person who's giving the advice if he/she has been a profitable consistently, WITH PROOF. If they're not, then don't take their trading advice. Because for many plebs, the best trade is probably just a low time-preference HODL in Bitcoin. If can't perform better than Bitcoin-HODL through day trading, then why day trade?
I'm one of those who try day trading, but I guess it's not for me and so I just decided to just buy and be a HODLer.

I mean, that is less hustle, not much time to spend in front of your hardware to analyse and do the trade. You just need some capital to buy during the dip and then nothing to do.

I have nothing against day trader, if they are earning good money, then good for them. But I guess it will not be for everyone, it's not a one size fits all kind of hat, in my opinion.
That's exactly me as well. I tried trading during 2016-2018 period because it was such a rush and made so much profit, but all my profit came from the ones that I held, bitcoin and ethereum. That was it, all the other places where I didn't hold? And traded? The overall results are a big loss, of course I had a lot of trades that ended with a profit as well, it was just not easy overall because I lost more than I earned from trading.

Thankfully I was holding bitcoin and ethereum, which meant that the profits I made from that ended up helping me out on the long run to not have a loss totals. This is why I believe that it shouldn't be that easy to just go into day trading right off the bat.
513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2017 : 20,000$ - Bitcoin 2022 : 20,000$ on: August 11, 2022, 11:12:42 AM
Although the price of bitcoin has fallen very deep from last year's ATH level, I don't think that bitcoin has lost its bullish momentum. From the first, negative sentiments about bitcoin have often occurred, causing the price of bitcoin to plummet. But the price is always going up even the bitcoin price is currently at $23k a few months ago it fell to the $18k-$17k area. Better to hold bitcoins for now and don't panic. I'm sure we'll see the market recover in the near future and bitcoin will be bullish again.
It did really lost its bullish momentum because bears have entered and currently we are still at it. There is a slight increase but too early to feel bullish as bull traps are still around the corner. It's possible for bitcoin to recover but I think it's wrong to say that it always go up because if it is then we shouldn't be in this low.

We have experienced a long time where the price is stable or stagnant and then it also drops. For those who bought at a much higher price then they should hodl their btc's but for those who bought when btc fell off to under 20k then its fine if they can sell some. Other than selling and hodling, buying should also not be forgotten.
514  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: August 11, 2022, 09:26:10 AM
Office job is boring, you stuck in the office for couple of hours doing the work with the same routine everyday is not a good job in my opinion. I prefer being an entrepreneur doing small business as a start for it has no boss to get along with, no time restrictions and most of all you have all the time in the world. Being an employee will not make us rich, doing business does.
Any job is actually boring if you don't have an interest with it. I think that on each job, there is always people that enjoys it. Someone that like talking phone calls and then using the internet won't be bored in an office job. When you work in an office you also have your co workers. You can chit chat with them while working. I think some boss will allow it as long as you are still working continuously. That is another thing that can cut boredom.

If you are an entrepreneur, usually there is only limited people in your workplace or sometimes you are the only one that displays and sells your products although you can still interact with your customer. Being rich is not important but what important is we enjoy our job and we can earn money that is enough to pay bills and then eat what we love.
515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What your ideas about bitcoin adoption in the future? on: August 11, 2022, 08:34:34 AM
Acceptance of bitcoin will be easy when people understand exactly why they need it and how it can be applied in everyday life. Now, for most of the population, bitcoin is something unknown and too risky. Someone uses it as an investment tool, but does not use it to pay for services and goods. Adoption cannot be carried out artificially, everything must develop in its own way, as we see it is a long and difficult journey.
I believe with time people will understand what bitcon is all about, but it might take time but definitely people will understand that bitcon is more than but buying and holding. Currently some companies are already accepting bitcon as payment method and am sure some people will be making payment with bitcoin, but we don't just expect everybody to be using it all at once but with time the number of companies accepting bitcon and the amount of people spending it will definitely increase.
Yes, that is for sure. Remember when we first heard about btc we are too skeptical about it. There is doubts if we will engage on it or not but eventually we decided to try it and then like it. The same thing can go with others who are still new to it. Once they do their research, they will now be ready to welcome bitcoin on their life.

Most of the companies that you are talking about that supports bitcoin are online because the countries that made btc a legal tender is still too low and most of us can't use our bitcoins yet for buying locally but it is possible to make payments for individual persons. Not all will use btc for some reasons, this is why fiats can stay.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Early Adopters rich? on: August 11, 2022, 06:00:26 AM
To be honest, it's not really our business whether they got rich or not by being an early adopter, but if it makes you sleep in peace OP, I believe that all of them are rich but they don't want you or anyone to know it so they live by their means or they slowly stream in the wealth to gradually live a luxurious life. It's crazy to think that early adopters wouldn't make money because by logic, they should have a lot of crypto since it's the cheapest.
Not all, remember the pizza guy? That is just the most known one, there are a million people like that, including myself, I may have not been here when it was just a few dollars or even cents, but I have been here since it was under 100 dollars and I can tell you that I never got rich, I am still working very hard for my salary every single day.

I am not upset about it neither weirdly enough, because without crypto my life would have been terrible and I feel like it could still yet be terrible any day now and keep being scared about it. So I can easily say that we are not all rich, but we are still happy to meet bitcoin no matter what our current finances look like.
517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading really worth it? on: August 10, 2022, 09:40:58 PM
I know that some people view trading as a risky endeavor, but I believe that as long as you're smart about it and don't let emotions get in the way, it can be a very lucrative way to make money.
Yet, this does not not dispute the fact that trading is not a risky endeavor. It's absolutely risky! Being smart is not a yardstick to guarantee your success in trading thou it contribute a little. Despite being lucrative, I don't see trading as a means of living (daily survival) since you're not the market controller and the system entirely is not reliable due to fluctuation nature.
I do agree that just because you are smart or just because you are a veteran of trading doesn't mean that you will make a good profit. However, it increases the chances of you having a better result than anywhere else and that matters. I personally care about the fact that we shouldn't be doing anything that would risk it all, but if we know what we are doing then we could have 5 losses and 3 profits and the totals would be profiting.

Because, we would know which ones are better guaranteed and which ones are how much risky etc etc and that is why we would risk accordingly. That's what I really mean when veterans could still trade when it's risky because they know the risks.
518  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback 🔥 up to 20% rakeback 🚨 on: August 10, 2022, 05:58:14 PM
Being a gambler you need to manage your risk yourself. There is no way that any gambling site like Livecasino or any other will tell you the risk management in gambling.
If you have a lot of money and can afford to lose any amount, then its ok but if you have limited money and you still want to gamble then first, learn all the pros and cons of gambling before risking your money.
There is a good case to be made about gamblers being the last person to realize how they could do a bankroll management, but I disagree with that. I have been managing mine for over 5 years now and I have never wagered more than I should and that should tell you something. I am not saying that I am the best gambler I know neither, but I know that it could be done.

This is why I believe that there is a good case to be made about the fact that gamblers could arrange a way to learn how to make their money not gone forever, they could do a small amount piece by piece without hurting themselves. Even the people with millions of dollars could learn how to gamble with only 100 bucks per month.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 10, 2022, 07:19:06 AM
My concern about Ireland was that they always lose close matches and fail to perform under pressure. But yesterday they did well and managed to win the match against one of the toughest tier-2 opponents. I thought that they almost lost the match, when Mark Adair conceded 21 runs during the last over of first innings. And for some unknown reason, Paul Stirling was very slow yesterday, scoring around a run per ball. This put a lot of pressure on the other batsmen, especially Andy Balbirnie, Lorcan Tucker and Harry Tector. Congrats to Tucker. This is his second T20I fifty in last three matches.
Yeah, this was a big concern for them, they have done good fights in last few matches against India, New Zealand and South Africa but sadly mostly fail to give good end but in this match they learn from their mistakes and keep cool until end of this match and have good success.

Once I was feeling again they are going to chock and losing this match even they lost only three wickets but in last two overs done good job and achieve their target which is big success for them and this is going to be good for them in future with Afghanistan is also in good shape in presence of few quality spinner and batsmen they are giving good challenge to many big teams but here losing against Ireland is big setback for them hopefully they will fight back in second match.
520  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: August 09, 2022, 08:52:37 PM
First, you have to search for in-demand freelance jobs and choose skills that you think you can handle and enjoy. You must acquire an in demand skills so your effort of studying won't be wasted. You should also make sure that you like what you're doing because if not, you'll only see toxicity and stress. Also, you have to search for high-paying jobs that would fit your skills so you'll be able to earn not just experience but also a better salary.
First is knowing what your interest at because if you have an interest in drawing but the in-demand jobs are different, you won't still apply for it but you are lucky if your interest is also what is on the demand right now. Learning a new skill is possible and it's better to learn different or lots of it because not all times the in-demand jobs can remain but they can also be replace by another job.

Now that you that have different skills already, you are now prepared for these things to happen so won't worry anymore. It's hard to apply for a company which offers a better salary because they are getting so many applicants. For this you also need a luck.
