Congratulations to the winners of the Lakers vs Heat game 5.
That was an easy win by the Lakers, no more NBA for now, so I think I'll be lurking with other type of sports, probably our local basketball league.
Yeah, it was so much fun and I made a few bets on bitsler on NBA but most of my bets were made on other sportsbook as bitsler being new to sportsbook still don't have much offers or promotions running at all which makes it a hard choice to bet there and at times the bet are pending for more longer than they should on esports betting.

I hope by the time of the next NBA or some major tournament they will have some cool promotions being added because the fun of sportsbook lies in the promotions and one that offers the best promotions grabs the highest number of players like right now stake offers some best promotions. Looking forward to Bitsler for adding some cool promotions in future.
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Defi scams on: October 13, 2020, 03:34:29 PM
The cause of this problem is the fact that there were a lot of people who actually spent a ton of money on stuff they do not know because it was "defi", there was tons of people who made a lot of money from crypto in the start of the defi period so others saw this and assumed that they would be making a ton of money as well, that is why I assume people invested into a different million types of defi just because it was defi.

This caused scammers and bad people to start new defi projects with no intention of making a good project, only so they could get funded by these gullible investors and steal their money. Same happened with ICO period as well, it went full circle to a level where a joke coin appears telling people if you invest to it they will take your money and spend it for luxury and themselves and people still invest like an idiot.
1243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: October 13, 2020, 11:29:00 AM
Telegram and YouTube channels, ANN topics in crypto forums, blogs and sites that announce upcoming projects, and you must carefully review any project before investing or working with it, because the project may be scam or it may fail, so you should read their whitepaper and make sure of the team’s experience in the success of the project.
It's way hard to read and analyze them all, especially if lf were eyeing in too many projects. I just learn to watch during DeFi projects the explanation via YouTube wherein the developers explains their project well. If the developer able to answer key questions and explain the use and idea of their project I skip on reading the whitepaper and just for us on searching whether there are also people investing in thru their own telegram and will know how active the team is and knowledgeable in their project.
Telegram is usually a great source as well because it has to pass the friend test before it can reach you. We all have a group that we are in that has thousands of people, if you are not involved with something like that check your local telegram groups and you can find one huge group for your own nation, every nation has that which consists of thousands of people.

When you meet with a lot of people there and constantly chat with them, it is reasonable that you build a friend group as well, I have one that is like 20 people and we are all about same minded people who like to see things around the same way with some differences that doesn't matter. So at the end, if one of them finds a new projects and talks about it we all take a look at it and give our verdict, if we all like it we all go into it, if we dislike it we say it so.
1244  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Voted best trading platform on: October 13, 2020, 09:26:51 AM
I do not really understand why people still think there is something wrong with putting all your money into Binance.

You may think that it is dangerous to put all your money into one exchange but that logic comes from back in the day when exchanges closed like a cafe on a high rent street, there was bunch of exchanges that took peoples money and bankrupted with it and leaving many people poor. Of course, during those times people said to each other distribute your coins between many exchanges in order to avoid getting "exit scammed" by these exchanges.

However Binance has been around for over 3 years now and those dudes actually never did anything wrong, they even got hacked and they still managed to pay everyone their money, so there is nothing I see that could happen to close Binance down for good.
1245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade if you're inexperience rather stake your coins. on: October 12, 2020, 08:18:29 PM
There are a lot of newbies that are jumping ahead immediately to those trading without any knowledge it looks like you dive into water without equipment or fight in a war without guns. Having knowledge into an introduction what do they need and what they possibly expect on this trading.
I like the comparison of jumping into water and it is right that people often get excited when they start trading and feel it is very simple to just buy coins at a cheaper price and then wait for the price to increase and sell it, but ask me as I have been trading since a while and when the price drops for altcoins it feels like lights out and just sell because altcoins do not have a good reason to rise up again. With bitcoins I don't panic easily but the kind of drop that happened in March I decided never to trade again because I almost had 3 sleepless nights at times.

I don't like staking coins either because there are various problems like lock-in period and while the time comes when your coins are unlocked and you are able to trade them the price for the token might have become nothing but dust.
1246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This will help day traders and newbie traders. on: October 12, 2020, 07:15:13 PM
Only experienced traders can do any types of trade.
Anyone can do any kinds of trading but the one who succeeds is who plans and has tested their strategies with smaller amounts or even demo accounts.

If you are a newbie, then day-trading is not for you. At first, you try to gain experience by doing small trades. As the day passes and you get hold of it then you can try other things. Another thing you have to keep in mind, don't fear of losing. When you lose you gain some experience out of it.
And even if you are experienced in trading then also day trading might be a big challenge because price changes so fast and so unpredictably that you cannot predict it correctly as a day trader maybe in the long run you can.

At first, you try to gain experience by doing small trades. As the day passes and you get hold of it then you can try other things.
True and the best way to do learn trading is by not reading articles, watching videos or asking people for tips but just trade yourself and learn every day.

Here you are wrong because as a trader having the fear to loose is important because a trader who does not fear losing is basically a gambler. You have to be feared of losing and hence trade with caution and make every trade with proper analysis and don't get driven by emotions.
1247  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 12, 2020, 06:03:14 PM
That's right, we don't win every day.  But seriously, it is also disappointing because of the size of what you lost.  How many hours did you spend your last session?  You know, you weren't lucky in your last betting session, you might be lucky in the lottery draw.
You missed the recent Bonanza, it would have been okay if you waited for another event or promotion where you can collect more GT.  Then while you wait, you get more in the daily interest.

Yeah but that's okay. I always know that when I deposit I eventually will lose it if I don't withdraw. It was me being a bit greedy adding an extra few hours to autoroll and the funny thing for me is that it was such a small starting value and just half an hour left to end the session but it went and hit bust. I usually run 10-hour sessions or so depending on my shift (I use at work). Didn't win anything in the lottery either so I just now wait for Golden Ticket draw. Oh well:)
That is the mindset every gambler has to have, if you are going to gamble in a casino, you will lose your money more often than not, which means if you end up with a loss you would be expecting that at least, but if you just happen to be lucky that day you will be very happy about since you didn't expected it.

I really believe that we are all losing bunch of money but we do get something in return, not just the amazing reward points, the great yearly returns, the lottery tickets the lambo tickets and whatever else, I also believe that we are having a lot of fun while gambling, and that should cost something, all the other things in life that someone else provides you and you use it to have a lot of fun costs money, so why shouldn't a casino as well?

this is how stake appears here and i deosited close to 0.8btc already. man get the site back to normal so i can wthdraw my cash and go to a more reasonable site

Visited Stake twice today some hours ago, and just visited it again before posting. I did not experience the problem like you experienced as shown on the screenshot. There is also no announcement on telegram channel if the site is not working as usual. There was only an announcement of resuming the 3rd party bots. There was no one complaining the same issue in this thread as well, so have no ideas what cause your problem.
He just wants to extort some money by providing such screenshots nothing else I am quite sure. Have a look here this is what he wants - https://i.imgur.com/ToT8Llb.png

By the way guys NBA is finally finished and as expected Lakers win it and I will miss that awesome promo for a long time now. I hope they make some promotions for cricket or tennis as well because now even the French open is done and talking of it what a great performance that was by Nadal who made Djokovic look like an amateur player to be honest. Drop shots was the only points Djokovic was winning.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin sportsbook bonuses on: October 12, 2020, 02:53:24 PM
So far I have used bonuses only a few times at sports betting sites. The problem I see most of the times with the bonuses is that there are lot of conditions you need to fulfill to use the bonuses, usually they are limited in time and on particular bets. I find that casinos have a lot of more requirements for sports bets than for the normal casino or for playing poker. I usually prefer a flat 100% bonus for a casino than some complex free bets for sports. During the last World Cup I used a bonus which forced me to use bets with odds above 2.5 on at least 5 bets in a row.
I hate such bonuses that comes with a string of wagering and then the whole money goes into loss to get the wagering done because there are absurd number of wagers asked like 50x or 100x and the casinos have around 5% house edge (on games providers like slots, etc) so one is expected to lose all the money he gained in the bonus through wager.

I rather like bonus as stake and sprotsbet.io offer which are clean and simple like the NBA bonus being provided by stake which is now over where if the team gains a 14+ lead you win and the money won with the promo does not needs any wagering required either at all. Similarly sportsbet.io offers free bet and have no wagering requirements along with it.
1250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: we need more volatility and faster bear bull bigger losses or bigger profits on: October 12, 2020, 12:56:38 PM
What is going to happen shouldn't scare you if you end up investing for long term. Let's say you bought bitcoin right now at this price, and in the next 2 years it peaks at $20k and it bottoms at $5k and moved in between that range, if you sell at $20k that means you are not going to make more profit later on 5 years later when it peaks at $40k, but if you also sell at $5k you will not be making x4 more profit at 20k neither and actually end up losing money.

So, if you buy right now and consider the next two years only, you are not going to get the most out of your investment compared to even longer waiting. Let alone 2 years, people can't wait 2 months these days, there are tons of people who end up losing money because they see it going down and they just end up selling and running away, that is really not a smart move at all.
1251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: October 11, 2020, 07:00:23 PM
~
~snip.

As a newbie in trading, I really trade by my self, i do it only by observing, studying situations, and not having discussions with anyone.  What I have learned is that trading by your self will provide a greater risk of loss.  Because I feel more losses than profits during trading by my self. Haha idk where's my wrong, but i think because i never discuss with others who have experienced
Not relying with others will definitely improve your individual skill but if you're losing, it will not hurt you to ask someone here in this forum. Always remember that no man is an island.
Yes and trading in isolation does not work for everyone because some people can trade in isolation but usually most traders require information and input from market to understand better and make more percentage trades.

Trade by yourself can be understood wrong, I mean yes trading by ourselves means we should not do things like copy trading but trading our own does not mean that we stop learning from market movements and analysis from experts. I personally listen to everyone and read a lot of articles but only for my knowledge so that when I am at my trading PC I can use all that information and make the best possible trades.

it is more like you listen to everyone but your actions must not be forced by others, learn and move on.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE MOST PAINFUL DAY IN MY BETTING CAREER on: October 11, 2020, 05:31:31 PM
Lol, I have experienced that kind of incident several times in the past too and indeed, regret is always there but in the end it will be very good for a lesson so that we can be even better in the future. Something that hurts is about the parlay and it happens just like you, at least the small odds when in the parlay can be a big mistake and also, that's what makes me no longer have a favorite team because I often get disappointed with events like this bet.
The funny part is that this happens to me as well when I pick like 10 events for a parlay I will only lose by 1 or 2 at worst but then if I bet on singles then I loose like 6 out of those same 10 bets haha that is the kind of luck I have at times. I mean yeah losing a parlay because of 1 market is very unfortunate but if you are good such that your 9 bets win out of 10 then better to make single bets and make more constant profit or maybe you still have bad luck just like I said I always have.

So, the lesson I can get is, when betting on parlays as much as possible for us to only enter matches that we have predicted, there is no need to enter a team based solely on feelings because it can be good as well as bad, so it would be better to avoid it and always control greed.
Yeah, even I add some extra events in the parlay just to increase the odds and make the parlay look even better and higher paying. I am sure that these events I am going to win but these extra events I add for boosting the odds
even further make me regret later.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 11, 2020, 03:44:42 PM
Actually one thing that I hate with betting right now being a sports bettor is the amount of virtual and Simulated reality sports going because it is like betting on dice with a humongous house edge since the game is not happening anywhere and there is no way to know how and why a particular event ended in that manner. I was betting on SRL games a few days ago and some weird things happen like service were getting broken too many times and I felt like I am being cheated.

I understand there are less sports now because of the pandemic but that should not mean that sportsbook add just any SRL matches and if you offer such markets at least improve the house edge, because these games are nothing but more like dice or other instant games.
1254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think will be the top cryptocurrencies in 2021 on: October 10, 2020, 01:19:57 PM
Some of the coins you have mentioned are still new to me, maybe because I have not been active with searching for new coins to invest in. I only know if a few on this list: Bitcoin is the one I have been investing in for a very long time now, since I started and for sure it will be staying at its position as the number one.
Well, that's for sure and actually there is a fact that bitcoins alone has the market cap more than combined all other coins so it is true that bitcoins will remain on top because it is more like the parent of these altcoins.

Ethereum is another good choice and I am also hoping that the 2.0 will bring some good changes and as well cause the market to grow. The idea of Ethereum is really good that investors will always consider it as a choice. I know of ripple, but I have not invested in it before. Same thing with Tezos and ChainLink, but I know ChainLink is good.
I believe that ETH is a really smart choice because there are DeFi projects being built around it and there is always something new happening with ETH so while I am not expecting a big growth but the price should be solid and only moving in the right direction.

Apart from these coins I think XRP might do well in coming year(s) and then there is Tether that remains same in price for obvious reason of being a stable coin but that also means it is one solid way to save your crypto without fear of losing any value.
1255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buyin Crypto with Credit card on: October 10, 2020, 12:47:08 PM
Does anybody know a place where i can buy bitcoin with credit card. I have tried so many websites but it always declines. Who knows a good place where i can buy. NB: I have tried Binance also

Poloniex is one such exchange that I can recommend for buying crypto using credit card. And just like with many such places which will need to partnership with payment processors there might be a fee and perhaps a minimum also. Best to search which ones give you the best of these before buying. Good luck.
Not sure about Poloniex because I haven't used that exchange for almost an year or even more since I joined Binance recently and I never felt the need to switch the exchange ever again.

I can recommend a service too which is MoonPay because they are being listed on stake.com and for those who don't know stake is the biggest casino and sportsbook in crypto so if they are suggesting a particular website for purchase of bitcoins with credit card the you should trust them. I have never used it myself though so I am not sure but surely as they are listed on stake I trust them, just that I never felt the need to buy bitcoins with card because I often use Paypal and have some fixed people who sell.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I sell ERC20 coins? on: October 09, 2020, 08:31:20 PM
Just like what the tittle say Where can I sell ERC20 coins? like etherdelta back on the days. It's been years since I last sell some coins so I forgot the sites where I sold them. Just want to ask if there are still good sites to sell ERC20 coins like etherdelta. TIA
There are many exchanges you can sell your ERC-20 based token. You already know the ERC-20 token you have, so you can check the well trusted centralized exchanges and know if it’s available to be traded in their platform and if the answer to that is a yes, then go ahead and make use of a CEX to trade the token, but if it’s a no, then you will have to make use of a Decentralized exchange which is where things can get a bit confusing if you’re still new and don’t know how it works.

You will have to be very careful if what you’re going to be using to trade the token is a DEX.
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: October 09, 2020, 04:01:28 PM
There are still probability that we will never see bull run like this again...
There are possibilities of all kind and I agree that after the blatant drop a few months ago people are scared and think that bitcoins might drop anytime but the truth is how bitcoins held during these covid times is actually quite great in itself.

What happened in 2017 was once in a blue moon event. I don't think that it will repeat ever gain. Bitcoin went from $900 per coin to $20,000. Many of the altcoins went up by 100x and even 1000x. This created a lot many billionaires and millionaires out of thin air. The media coverage was mostly positive and as a result a lot of people invested in cryptocurrencies. Unfortunately, some of them made their investment in shitcoins and lost all of their capital.
Yes the growth in terms of % might never be reached again because growing from 900 to 20k is just a different level of growth and after so much popularity now a lot of bitcoin holders are there so the price would never grow at the same rate again but then I am quite sure the overall price in terms of USD will soon and surely cross the 20k mark which people often call as ATH price.
1258  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of CRYPTO GAMBLING & BETTING SITES with bonus & promo codes! Site And App on: October 09, 2020, 01:20:42 PM
Good site, i will try latter.
Thank you for your valuable comment. If there are places you find missing, we are ready to correct them. or if you have suggestions
I liked your website and actually has some good data but the way the website looks does not impress me, I am sorry to say it on your face but that is how I feel about it. There are just too many thing on the front page and while the data is good but there needs to be a better sorted and better looking way of doing it.

You have 1xbit on your website listed which has a terrible reputation here on the forum so you might want to look here once https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3906360.0 and maybe remove them because they do not give confidence and a new gambler might lose his money if they visit your website and deposit on such casinos. As a listing website you cannot just list everything please do research.
1259  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the cause of economy rise and fall. on: October 09, 2020, 11:49:36 AM
1) Bad environment
But who is responsible for that bad environment? I agree that people are responsible like you said but the government has to make policies such that the environment cannot be deteriorated further and what damage has been done must be regained slowly.

The best point you made is actually bad leaders because a bad leader is like the root of the tree having a parasite and now no matter how much water is given to the tree the roots are always going to be weak. Similarly the worst leader people pick for themselves the more harm he will do to the economy.

I heard one wise statement from someone: A un-educated leader will only cost short term losses but an educated leader who has the wrong motive might burn the whole country so the government and the leader should have the right mindset at the very least.
1260  Economy / Economics / Re: How freelancing websites killed design and developement bussinesses ... on: October 09, 2020, 09:45:15 AM
Freelancing hasn't killed any business, they've enriched the people's life. Just think of a person working for an tech industry, he might get a pay of $1000/month, but what the company charges from his client will be much high for the work done by that specific employee.

This js the reality with every corporate network. In such case there should be fair pay, when that isn't happening people look to have direct dealing with the client making it profitable for the client and the developer eliminating the thridman who eats the entire profit.
Yes,  I have worked with a few Asian countries guys who work on cheaper rates because their wages are low and I am really happy with their work too so the work that was being done for a lot money is now being done by the Asian guys for cheaper and they also get more work so it is better for them as well and the guys here who used to charge much higher are now adjusting their charges to a reasonable amount. Until there is competition in the market the market will never improve and some people will take advantage and charge high.

At the other hand clients from Asian countries got foreign employers who pay better and also do not find mistakes in their work as the locals might do. I agree that freelancing platforms have only improved the overall business and the quality of the work for both employer and employee.
