1081  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is getting ready for 20k again on: November 26, 2020, 03:37:37 PM
I believe the reason why we are not breaking over easily is the fact that there are too many people who are scared. Buyers are scared because they fear if they buy more from here the price may crash and burn like last time after breaking over ATH or even before that, and sellers are afraid because if they sell from here the price could break over ATH as well.

However sellers are a it more at ease because if they bought at lower, they are going to miss out from profit but they still profited a bit to say the least. So, it is quite understandable why bitcoin didn't went up just yet but it is on the path, it will go up. There is no situation where bitcoin went to $19.4k levels and didn't break over $20k because we are too close to give up right now.
1082  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For beginners which trading option is best and which platform and why? on: November 25, 2020, 12:55:33 PM

Binance had indeed had some issues over the past two years. It is not that it's only Binance that has suffered because of hacking; many other exchanges have also been hacked. Nonetheless, it is one of the best and biggest cryptocurrency exchange out there and number 1 choice of the most crypto traders. During this time, it has also made much progress and added many new major features for its clients.
That's centralized exchange that exchange is only use for trading crypto currency , there are many hacking incident in exchange before not only in binance. but binance has found a way to return the hacked money to its users and that is also the reason why many are more confident to use it because they know how to take action everytime something like this happens in their exchange.
Yeah, the biggest problem when using a centralized exchange is their trustworthiness and for DEX there are other problems like the transaction fees was insanely high last time I tried uniswap.

Returning users money after the exchange was hacked is actually a great sign because this brings more stability and recognition and I was not among the ones who lost their coins and got refunded but I heard the whole story and it was a nice gesture from Binance.

The best trading option for someone new depends on their capital and appetite for loss and profits and based on that one can chose to trade altcoins, do day trading with bitcoins or even invest for long term.
1083  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Extreme greed on the market on: November 25, 2020, 12:13:05 PM
Hey guys,
By recent Fear&Greed Index bitcoin is in extreme greed area, usually it's a sign of decline in price or even crash. I've been observing this index for quite some time and find it pretty accurate, of course it doesn't give you the exact day or time but it indicates the sentiment on the market. Do you ever use this index in your trading analysis?
The OP was posted on 11th November and if you see the trend since the time of this thread posted, the price has only gone up which again makes me believe like these Fear&Greed and other charts are just not accurate or even give a rough idea. I would have respected these charts had the price stayed same but it has gone up and this clearly tells you that the crypto market at least cannot be determined by these charts and usual analysis.

I am going to buy even more Bitcoins probably once I get my salary and that is because I am expecting some new records to be set in the next year and yeah you may discuss about the crash that is going to happen, but I have my own belief in Bitcoins.
1084  Economy / Economics / Re: More Banks maybe Closed and cryptocurrency exchangers are new way of banking on: November 25, 2020, 11:33:51 AM
Lol some of you ask for too much and when companies tries to adjust to offer that and eventually starts to ask for higher fees for the services you’re still going to be the one complain.

If Binance should start setting up local offices here and there and becoming a bank, what’s the difference then between it and the normal banks we already have? And that will even make regulations more tight for them, there will be new set of rules for them to adhere to and a lot of things are going to change. Also it can only be possible if the government allows that.
1085  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin retirement account on: November 25, 2020, 07:05:53 AM
In my country there are companies that are offering this kind of service, retirement plans for workers where they will be saving up money for their retirement, I have also seen banks that are doing the same thing.

But not everybody is able to do this, especially when you’re living in a country where the economy is very bad, a lot of people don’t earn much and you have to spend that money on very important things and expenses before talking about saving for a retirement plans, that’s why most would retire and have nothing, and as for government workers they are always promised pensions which are never paid most of the times.

This is a good idea, people should always prepare themselves ahead of time and Bitcoin is a good way to do that.
1086  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 25, 2020, 05:08:38 AM
This will be the best gift for everyone of us, fighting this pandemic. although we don't know what will be the other effects of using this vaccine, this will help us to look forward for a new beginning. I hope this vaccine reach all of us, specially poor people.
Poor people have struggled the most and actually even when the vaccine arrives they are still going to struggle more because the cost of vaccine is certainly high and governments are not going to make it free in most countries if the news are to be trusted.

This vaccine is not provin to be effective and highly possible that the patient will experience long term side effects.

Market will still strive but as we see bussines are slowly opening and going back.
I hope you are wrong because the vaccine is coming after such a long and tiring wait so at least it should not have any side effects and long term problems. I heard they tried the vaccine on large number of patients and then they are going to release but yeah future side effects can be there, let's pray that is not the case and have faith in our scientists.

1088  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 24, 2020, 04:08:17 PM
Why isn't Yolodice running promotions like before, like the number hunt one and things like that? Wagered per day is dropping a lot.
Yeah, there are new competitors entering the market and offering better promotions so I also think they should start doing some giveaways and promotions soon otherwise the downtrend will continue and might lose some good players.

anyone who has tried or experienced in invest in yolodice features? I want to try it but I don't know how the detailed system is, by the way, when is the distribution from invest, is it done every day or what?
I have invested in past but can't recall and terms might have changed. Also remember while the house is expected to win but there are times when you might have little loses as well so don't get too worried you will cover those loses in case you have any initially with investment. Here is the direct link for the invest page - https://yolodice.com/#invest
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How can one make effective use of the Excrow? on: November 24, 2020, 02:57:08 PM
Escrow is good but not a must, you can even miss many good projects if you force escrow on new projects because I've heard few reputable bounty managers complaining that even high quality bounty projects don't want to accept Escrow, the moment they talked about Escrow the team will stop replying and find another bounty manager that don't care about Escrow
It is up to the bounty participants to get this problem solved because if everyone decides they will not take part in campaigns that do not have an escrow involved then the project managers will have to hire one and that is the right way of doing it.

Bounty managers can only help participants if they are ready to bring the respect to the manager by not taking part in bounty-campaigns with no escrow.

Coming back to the topic, yes there can be manipulations in the smart contracts but how will the token do well in the market then after scamming so many participants. I mean they will bombard the social media with negativity and expose them making the project dead.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need more bubbalexs and Hhampuzs in this space on: November 24, 2020, 02:04:41 PM
Newbies managing a bounty project are well known to be scammers some times but it's wrong to turn away from a bounty project because of the managers account rank, it's wiser to go through the project and see it's capability, I remember Oikos bounty which was introduced by a newbie account, it's DeFi and it's running on Tron blockchain, I knew it's good enough after few analysis so I promoted the project and it never disappoints.
It depends if the project team's own member is working towards management of the bounty or they hired a newbie from outside. If the person managing bounty is from the project team then he might be worth trusting but a new manager that doesn't belong to their team might mess things up for everyone.

The funds must be escrowed in bounty programs where the manager is new to the community and the participants are not sure if they can trust him for their hard work to be paid. It sounds good to see the mangers getting praise because they do a thankless job and some people might feel like the manager are earning good money but trust me it is not easy to manage so many participants and checking their quality, etc.
1091  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance must have an option to instant sell with 1% of stop loss on: November 24, 2020, 10:14:49 AM
Not sure if Binance is ever going to implement such features but actually for these reasons only Bots are made so you might want to find a bot that works on the specific feature and that be one solution or like @mk4 said you can demand that feature on the link he gave.

By the way 1% is really low and such small variance should not bother you specially because you are in crypto market where things change rapidly and one must not care for 1-2% change too much, but yeah everyone have their own way of trading so maybe it is worth for you.

If you are new to trading, just in case then let me tell you there will be massive price swings all the time and you have to get used to it.
1092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who actually moves the price of bitcoin? on: November 24, 2020, 09:14:57 AM
It’s not really the exchange that is setting the price, it’s more like the market is the one that determines the price of the cryptocurrency. Have you tried to check the price of Bitcoin on different exchanges or websites on a particular day? If you check you’re going to notice that the prices they are setting is usually different.

Exchanges are setting their own price of Bitcoin depending on the activities on their platforms. So, it’s then up to Indexes to gather the prices from all of these exchanges and then they will use what they have gathered to average the price you will see. I think you should look for an article that’s going to break this down properly for you to understand.
1093  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin with no KYC verification on: November 24, 2020, 08:39:05 AM
I think you should look into these peer-to-peer; Paxful might be a good option if it’s available in your country.
There are lots of payment methods that are being accepted on Paxful, more than I ever expected and the PayPal is one of them and even bank transfers when you’re trading with people in your locality.

Although you will have to be signing up with your email address, but that’s only for you to be able to sign into your account any time, and apart from that email there is no other thing that’s going to be requested from you.
Yeah, but OP why not look for local exchangers, like people that are into P2P exchanging, that way you wouldn’t have to worry about KYC, unless your country has a strict cryptocurrency regulation that doesn’t allow such.

In my country you can find P2P exchangers, they have their walk-in offices where you can go to and do business with them, you don’t have to do any KYC no matter the amount you’re buying or selling, all you need to do is send them money and they will send the amount of Bitcoin you need to your wallet. As for Binance, I don’t make use of their exchange but I have heard that you can still buy Bitcoin from Binance without KYC, but there is a limit to that.
1094  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 23, 2020, 07:48:58 PM
I just screenshot the rocket of crash game, I am not sure how many kinds of the rocket. have you pick favorite rocket where you get a big oneprofit? which one?

My Favorite rocket is number 10.
Feels a bit off topic hehe but my favorite has to be 9th one looks really cool.

By the way you might want to try some slots because I am not a regular slots player but the slots at roobet are insanely good and I am winning something finally on slots so I would recommend trying them once.

In case you want some suggestions, you can try Reactoonz or Reactoonz 2 and there some there good ones like Snake Arena and Punk Rocker, I am actually trying to explore new slots daily and see which one is best for me.

The crash game is good but believe me once you start playing slots you will feel some different level of fun.
1095  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: November 23, 2020, 06:57:08 PM
Hopefully, after they fix the things that need to be fixed in sports betting just like the expectations of others that need to be improved, they will then enter the addition of slot games offered by third party providers. What if they already have a plan for it? I also want to experience playing that here at Bitsler. I just noticed that other gamblers are actively playing it and their winnings are grabbing attention, especially in the ongoing contests and promotions.

They probably already have a plan ready to implement.
Now we just have to wait to see who they would like to do business with and then they will let us know on the forum or at least make an announcement somewhere.
Would be a good addition but if I was asked to suggest I would have asked them to first sort sports fully and then move to other parts and new features because they need to solidify what is broken instead of adding new features without making sure problems are sorted.

I think they are not going to add 3rd party slots because the revenue is huge and there are so many players already for original bitsler games so they don't have to stress with 3rd party providers. Sports betting already created some problems for them which commendably enough they have solved and are working on it.
1096  Economy / Economics / Re: The Difference Between Staking and Investing on: November 22, 2020, 06:18:46 PM
I can't sleep well if I'm staking my coins for monthly gains because it's no more in my care, to stake coins you need to move the coins out of your wallet to another stake activated wallet which you have no control over since you aren't holding it's private key, you are on your own lok
That is the primary concern for many but there are trusted and well known exchanges like Binance which offer staking so you can try them. People often say never keep balance on exchanges so if you apply that logic you must never stake your coins but if you ask me, I don't have a single doubt against Binance and would gladly stake my coins there but unfortunately I do not stake because I trade them actively and earn better profits.

As for volatile coins, staking them wouldn’t be a good idea, since they fluctuate from one position to another, the price can go down while it’s still locked and you will lose more than you will get from rewards. It’s best to just buy and keep in your wallet where you have full control.
That's pure luck because the vice versa can happen too, like you could have sold the coins had you got the keys and control but because they were locked you could not sell and the market moved in your favor.
1097  Economy / Economics / Re: Ray Dalio Admits He May Be Wrong About Bitcoin" on: November 22, 2020, 09:17:50 AM
So from the statements he has made I can see that he was afraid of the volatility of Bitcoin. It’s normal with people who are just getting to know about Bitcoin, they will always be afraid of the volatility of the Bitcoin. And that third statement he made about bitcoin not being good as store of value because it can drop at any moment and the money invested will lose value, well he’s right.

But that’s not much of a problem, anyone that’s getting into cryptocurrency should know better, they should know that they have to be careful.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ripple (XRP) will rise to moon. on: November 21, 2020, 05:07:41 PM
Ripple was just destined for an increase and it took a while for it to happen and there is nothing more to it. All other cryptos, specially ETH for example increase a lot during the previous 2 weeks and people didn't really know what to do with it, they were all increasing and we were all hyped, but XRP was stuck at 25 cents like crazy during that period.

While all other coins were going up naturally due to BTC rise, there was no reason for XRP to stay at the same price for a long time, so after a while XRP traders realized that there is a big increase due for XRP as well and we are seeing that with this 30 cents and above price. It was quicker and all at once instead of over a period of a week like the other ones, but at least it has happened around the same levels of other coins as well.
1099  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 21, 2020, 02:00:31 PM
OP what makes you afraid of complying simple rules by providing KYC ? Are you a public entity or has some serious records on your country thats why you are afraid? KYC is mandatory now in most exchanges because of money laundering if you understand this then send KYC and comply with all the rules if not let Hitbtc take your funds forever.
There is a certain grey area where users are asked for KYC just when they try to withdraw their money. I understand that rules state that we should be able to provide documents when asked but honestly this is a strange kind of thing because you do not ask user when he trades and deposits but ask him for ID proofs as he withdraws. I am fine with that but some users might not and same happens with some gambling sites as they see a user wins big, they will ask documents.

That been said though, at the end of the day if providing documents actually solves the problem then I would have no issues.

why they didn't ask for documents when i want to deposit bitcoin. this is hidden trap inside the rules.
I can feel that but since you agreed to their rules, you have to provide them whatever they demand now.
1100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading... on: November 21, 2020, 01:26:51 PM
I don't recommend copy trading, other than it's only good for the short term. Copy trading will not make our trading skills develop,
that is there increasingly makes us become dependent on other people. And don't make excuses for not understanding market analysis,
because even professional traders start from not understanding market analysis. So don't be lazy to learn how to analyze the market.
Yeah agree, but some people do copy trading with their spare funds and while they are learning about trading it doesn't hurt to earn some extra money with the help of copy trading respecting that someone is better than you at trading currently.

I agree though that copy trading should only be done when you are either not interested in trading at all or you are still learning and look at it as an extra source of income. The bigger picture and thought must always be about improving your own trading skills and how to be better than you were before so keep learning and in meantime you may try copy trading it also helps you understand how others take their decisions.
