1041  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what successfull trading tips have worked with you so far ? on: December 06, 2020, 04:57:56 PM
Do not forget to be calm and remove emotions out of trading. If you see something that looks to be promising and you act right away instantly, there is a 90% chance you are going to lose money from it. You have to spend days before you can invest into anything by just researching why you think it should be making profit.

There are tons of people online, people here who are strangers to you, people in telegram communities you befriended and people who will shill you their coins, there will be new coins promised to make you a lot of money every single day, and you have to just ignore them all and try to research what is best for you for days, sometimes spend weeks without making a single move. Only then you will know that you have found the real true good coin you should invest.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is for you the best Defi Project for 2021? on: December 06, 2020, 01:48:44 PM
With all the DeFi in the market there are only a few that I would say are really good and can be trusted. The first one that really got my interest which I did invest a bit of money in is ChainLink, it’s a really a good project and unlike some DeFi projects where the team are being private, we know the team behind the ChainLink project, so it’s no secret. That one aside, when it comes to growth, it’s also going great, when the crypto market is booming, ChainLink is among the top coins that will boom.

Next project that I have seen that is also good is Polkadot, we know the team behind it are solid, and the project looks promising. Another one is Compound, and my attention was drawn to this one by Coinbase, and after researching it, I would say it’s a good option too, it has been growing.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If crowdfunding started from IEO on: December 06, 2020, 01:08:35 PM
I'm just curious, if IEO was the first crowdfunding that came out with full hype just like ICO in 2017 would there still be better trusts on new projects today? I believe that IEO delivers more trust through top exchanges and that's why they are still very much alive today compare to ICO, what do you say?
ICO’s are still alive, it’s not dead yet, there are still good ones that you can find if you’re still interested in them. IEO’s too are very good and they work because they rely on exchanges and if the exchange that are being used as their Launchpad is a huge exchange that is very popular, then there is more possibility of the project being successful.

But not every IEO is successful, same way that it’s not every ICOs in the market that end up being successful. When IEOs came out at first a lot of people that there wouldn’t be any failed project, but that’s not possible.
1044  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC technicals are against ATH. Liquidate on: December 05, 2020, 04:38:32 PM
What happens to these people when they are wrong? I mean I could come down here, claim that bitcoin will be 30k very soon, can write a whole topic about it, show some charts too, and basically do 30k bidding for all the people who wants it up, but if the price crashes, what happens to me? I get no consequences at all, nobody can do anything about it, at the end of the day if we are actually not responsible for our claims and there is nothing anyone can do about it, why should we care about what we say?

We could lie about what is going to happen all day, in fact we could open up 5000 accounts on twitter, claim with 2500 them that bitcoin will go up, and with rest claim it will go down, next whichever is right divide 1250 and do the same until one of them has MANY times they were right. We need to make sure we do not care about people online who claim they know price movements, it is very dangerous.
1045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Taking Bitcoin profit in the bull run | Please Share your strategy on: December 05, 2020, 03:49:03 PM
I would say that if you want to take a profit right now, just because we are in a bull run, you should probably do it whenever you feel the most comfortable and get out, look at your own finances when you are looking into taking out profit and do it based on personal situation and not a general idea of when to get out.

However I think if you are in crypto, you probably realized the fact that crypto is something awesome and could make you rich and it is not going to slowly deteriorate and become nothing in the future, it is going to be something huge in the future and that is why you should probably not get out at all, you should probably stay. That is why I think it is up most importance that people realize they should hold their crypto as long as they humanly can.
1046  Economy / Speculation / Re: Above $20,500, BTC will give $4k+ move. Here is why on: December 05, 2020, 03:16:26 PM
If we could move beyond 20k and stay there steady, I am pretty sure we are going to be doing much better than just 22-24 range, we are going to actually skyrocket after that. Logic should be the fact that bitcoin basically did awesome so far to reach this place but we are having both a real resistance at 20k which makes it difficult to go beyond that price, but also a psychological place where it is ATH and we haven't been over 20k ever in bitcoin history plus the last time we tried it took us 3 years to get back to this place, so people are afraid and the selling has increased like crazy.

However if we could actually go beyond 20k and stay there and basically we all agree that above 20k is now something real and we are doing it, people will stop focusing on that and focus on more gains.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Data safety on Centralized exchanges on: December 05, 2020, 01:01:52 PM
You still think that your data is save on Centralized exchanges? Think again, today australian crypto exchange accidentally expose users information, over 270,000 customers data is exposed, what kinda mistake is this anyways?

https://ia.acs.org.au/article/2020/australian-crypto-exchange-exposes-emails.html
This is a normal thing, that’s why we as individuals has to be very careful. Centralized institutions will always tell you that they are offering the best of security, but at the end there will likely end up being an issue of identity theft where they will lose their customers' information to hackers. This is not an issue with only cryptocurrency exchanges, it happens everywhere, you sign up with your email and info and due to some hack or bug on their system they will expose your info.

I am always cautious these days with the kind of information I am putting online these days, so that I don’t end giving an information that will affect me later in the future.
1048  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lambo Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: December 05, 2020, 10:01:00 AM
Gambling on your computer can take some time, I am familiar with that myself. The problems start when you actually have to go to sleep, but that you still see a few matches that you can bet on. Then you should also be able to resist the temptation Grin
That's exactly what happened to me last night, it just so happens that I use my mobile to play more often so even when I'm lying down and it's time to go to bed but I can still play.  Maybe it's natural to be tempted, especially since it's new to you and you enjoy playing.  I was too hooked and had an interest in trying to play slots.  I like the animations like I play arcade in a video game.
I have gambled at night most of the time, but I do gamble in front of my PC so I never really got tired enough to fell asleep there. If it was mobile and I gambled in my bed, I see that as a great possibility that I would probably fell asleep and I would have probably lost some money if I gambled with foggy mind. Hence what I can say right now is that I like to keep gambling with my PC because I prefer it that way and I find it easier, but also to prevent playing like that.

If I get too sleepy to continue in front of a PC, which is usually very hard, that is still usually at least 10-15 minutes away from sleeping, instead of gambling right into sleep. Normally when I get sleepy in front of PC, I close it down and I go smoke and I go to toilet and change into my PJ's and go into bed for sleep, all of which means I wasn't really that sleepy in front of my PC.
1049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow a trading process. on: December 04, 2020, 04:47:34 PM
Yup true, anyone that wants to be successful in anything has to follow the process, but one problem that most people do have is with finance. Trading cryptocurrency, especially day trading requires that you have enough money to keep trading and knowing very well that as a noob you’re going to make mistakes that will lead to loss of money, it’s not going to be really easy.

So, as you’re learning you also need to not put too much of your reliance on crypto, focus more on your other job and let this one be a side hustle so you can keep getting income to invest in your side hustle.
1050  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I study to learn how to trade? on: December 04, 2020, 03:19:06 PM
there are online courses and there could be trading courses in the real world but you dont really need to learn or attend them because theres many crypto traders that only learn the basics on this forum or by watching trading vids on youtube and voila they already trade on thier own but if you really wanted to be pro and to good at it you can continue learning more in advance and that is by taking courses .
minimum amount of money will depend on your budget and also to the knowledge you have accquire
Watching videos is a good but not a great way to learn about bitcoins trading because most of the channels focus more on the long term investment opportunity instead of teaching how to read the market and which way the market is going to slide. The truth is actually hardly 1% of the content is on topic and actually worth watching.

They might pump you up about the future but that is not what a trader needs, you need positive energy but trading is about knowing how market is going to move and what is the best time to buy and sell. As an investor there are some good videos on youtube which can help you understand some projects and might be worth investing but for trading there are hardly any out there.
1051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get VIP Signals? on: December 04, 2020, 02:49:59 PM
Nothing is as such that you are asking for. No VIP signal, what exist is signal group. Why I said no VIP signal is that nobody can be sure 100 times accurate on what direction to follow therefore you will be deceived on that. The difference between the signal group and VIP signal group is the high fees you will be charged for signing into it but no certainty of price movement as you think.
Actually there are some good signal groups and yes they cannot be correct 100% of times but they at least give you an idea about how the market is going to move and they give some good advice on which coins one should invest and which ones to avoid. I cannot share the group links because I was added by someone else and there is no direct link.

But yeah most of the groups are scam and if anyone charges you money before even trying them out, they are scammers for sure because someone who has faith in their signals and predictions will always offer a free trial or something like that.
1052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another big step to adoption bitcoin from VISA! on: December 04, 2020, 01:39:23 PM
Fintech company BlockFi became a partner with VISA to provide customers with Bitcoin reward besides cash or airline miles. In my opinoin this innovation will be wide spread among most payment systems.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/visa-and-blockfi-to-launch-bitcoin-rewards-credit-card-as-adoption-grows
It’s not something new for Visa to work with any cryptocurrency company , it’s an old thing, Visa and MasterCard has been working with lots of cryptocurrency companies, they are working with BitPay for cryptocurrency debit cards, and they are working many others as well.

As for this collaboration with BlockFI, I don’t see much there, but it’s still a really cool thing that they have done there as rewarding people for making purchase using cryptocurrency will make a lot of people to want to make use of cryptocurrency so that they will be able to get some cash rewards or whatever other rewards that is being given.
1053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: December 04, 2020, 12:52:05 PM
Bitcoin did some changes to my life, because I invested and also worked to earn some bitcoin.
Most of the times that the market has been bullish I have been able to make some profit from it on long term basis.

I wouldn’t say right now that I am like so rich, but I got to the average level where I am able to take care of my family and also get most of the necessary things I need and my life keeps changing everyday, and with time and hard work I will get to the level I dream of. For us to get to the level we wish for, we have to think smart, work hard, have patience, and believe it will happen.
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the government accept it? on: December 04, 2020, 09:36:34 AM
Hey OP, ask yourself that question: if there should be no banks anymore are you going to be able to stay without them? What’s the best way to store your money safely if not behind that vault? I don’t think you will have lots of money and still want to store it at home , like where you going to be storing, in your bedroom in the wardrobe? Or is it going to be your kitchen, or the parlor?

Bitcoin is good for storing a part of your wealth and not all. Storing all your assets by yourself is some kind of risks, and you shouldn’t be doing that, it’s best to store in the banks, although they do so many wrongs.
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best anonymous coin ? on: December 04, 2020, 08:40:59 AM
Other best altcoins are Zcash and DAI, they have the best privacy and anonymity apart from Monero as they are also among the top 50 best coins.
Indeed transactions on monero are near impossible to be traced because the details about sender's address and receiver's address are hidden I read somewhere although haven't made many transactions myself in monero and the amount transacted is also hidden so is a good choice, not sure how it being compromised now.

I actually think we can use any coin and remain anonymous if only we can take some extra cautious steps like using a new BTC address every time and use a mixer if you want even more security but remember they mix your coins for a fees and if it is worth then go for it, I also have a cheaper method as you can deposit into any exchange like Binance and then withdraw Cheesy the fees is lower as compared to mixers.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops or "Scam-drops"? on: December 04, 2020, 08:06:32 AM
Is definitely nothing else but a scam, any airdrop asking for money from participant to receive their reward with excuse of using it as gas fee is a scam, airdrop should be free.
Yes, if airdrop was done for free then users cannot really complain if they are not listed on exchanges because they got the coins for free although had to complete a few tasks maybe. Things we get for free we can regret working for them but we cannot actually complain, like a popular saying goes like "beggars can't be choosers". Don't get me wrong I am not saying we beg for airdrops coins but we get them for free and no reason to complain.

No one forced us to claim and take part in airdrops so think wisely and take part in airdrops that have some kind of solidity behind their project and are not giving away too many free coins which later opens the flood gates for dumps.
1057  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and gold price inflation adjusting all-time-high on: December 03, 2020, 04:45:22 PM
Your first paragraph I am not getting it, how does the price of Bitcoin and gold being displayed in fiat make us not to know the value of it? You’re not serious, if the value is not calculated in fiat, then what should it be calculated in,  Will you calculate BTC in BTC, or Gold in Gold? Every asset is being weighed with another asset, so it’s going to be BTC/USD and Gold/USD, and not BTC/BTC or the other.

Without it being calculated that way, in fiat, you wouldn’t know the value of it. Lastly , both are on their way up, although I wasn’t aware that Bitcoin reached the $21k price you listed here, the last ATH in 2017 was around $19.7k and the new ATH I know that happened recently on November is $19.8k.
1058  Economy / Economics / Re: We're just getting started," says Grayscale 's Michael Sonnenshein on: December 03, 2020, 03:45:22 PM
I guess they just have plans to buy up every Bitcoin in the market? After they buy up most of the cryptocurrencies in the market what are they going to do next? All these institutions are now in a competition to buy huge share of Bitcoin, the news I saw the other says that PayPal 70% of Bitcoin that were mined by miners, and Greyscale is also buying a huge amount, and there are other institutions too that are dragging for a position in the market.

Would have been more better when there are more of individuals buying and making use of it P2P transactions, more of the coins will be circulating.
1059  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe support and resistance still work in crypto? on: December 02, 2020, 08:26:18 AM
Of course support and resistance still works, what makes you think otherwise? Is it because of how the price keeps moving real quick from one price to another? I think you should understand how these two things really work, they are just being used to know when the price will fall down or when it will go up, they are not actually being used to predict what the price will be.

An expert that uses support and resistance after reading the chart will tell you for example that if the price should reach a certain price then there is the possibility of it going further up, they can say if the price reaches $10,200 then there is possibility of it reaching $10,800 next, but if it drops to $10,100 it can drop to $9,500. This is an example of how it works.
1060  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: December 02, 2020, 05:11:29 AM
~ And they don't seem very excited about this,

-snip-

according to the link you posted, top 10 gets a share of that $1000. Currently there is only one entry if I am not mistaken.
That was my same impression the first time I joined the soccer league but you'll be surprised that there are more than that usually participates.

I see that rules have changed. In the past, players are given 24 hours to post their bet slips after the games are over. I'm not sure if that's still the case.

I feel like the new rules favor the people with bigger bank roll. Those with less have to rely on parlays to increase their chances of higher points. I prefer the old one but, hey, their campaign - their rules.

"Example :

Player A : Bet 5 $ Dollar with 4 games and the bet is a winning one
Point Calculation : 5 $ Total Amount bet + (5 x 150% Bonus Boost ) + Extra point (3) = 5 + 7.5 + 3 = 15,5 points
Player B : Bet 13 $ Dollar with 7 games and the bet is a losing one
Point Calculation : 13 $ Total Amount bet + (13 x 200% Bonus Boost ) = 13 + 13 = 26 points
Player C : Bet 50 $ Dollar with 1 games and the bet is a winning losing one
Point Calculation : 50 $ Total Amount bet = 50 points
"
Honestly there is no need to calculate the points because at the end of the day big whales will take it no matter what. Of course having some points system would be great for some people because at the end of the day we are talking about small differences in lower levels and that should matter, but this is just top 10 and I am sure top 10 is something you have to spend a good deal of amount to reach.

If you believe you can reach those levels, kudos to you because that means you have more money than I could ever wager, I usually wager under 50 dollars per month so to me these type of competitions are useless and I act as if they do not even exist, to me casino can say they have given out millions of dollars for it, and I would still say I don't care because it wasn't anything related to me.
