101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dubai digital currency on: October 13, 2018, 07:16:06 PM
Depending on who does this and how it is used it could be seriously important in the crypto world however I do not see how it could get that big because I doubt enough important people would care about it.

Normally anything they do is big and huge including all business deals they do or even the buildings and hotels they have, they literally made a palm tree shaped island, which means if they want to they can make a digital currency and make it the top crypto currency in the world however for that to happen all of the country including really powerful and rich people should care about the project which I don't think will happen.

You are mentioning about digital currency which may not be a blockchain based nor cryptographically encrypted. In that case, this community had nothing to do with that. Moreover, a country specific digital currency will not have any big differences from their local fiats except only-on-internet-usage property.

103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange do you prefer to use in TradingView? on: October 13, 2018, 02:02:03 PM
It actually depends on each individual actually but most of the time, I prefer using a high volume exchange if I have to use trading view.

I understand all the things you are saying though and possibly you cannot have the same thing cut across board, but it is usually pretty close anyway and the only thing is to just find a strategy, find the type of exchange I mentioned as there are so many of them, although I use Bitstamp anyway but it all depends on what you are looking at most of the time.

You always have to consider every option actually when it comes for analyzing the market which is what is important the most rather than finding ways to have big capital for generating g better profits as many smart trades are making decent profits on daily basis just from very small capital itself.
104  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trading Platform foe newbiee♥ on: October 13, 2018, 08:18:41 AM
yes, Bittrex is one of the things I like the most, when I first learned about cryptocurrency trading, I also used Bittrex as a start, easy usage, familiar interface, KYC was not too difficult, withdrawal that was quickly processed was the factor that made this exchange I like it the most
I think Bittrex is too fast for them. maybe it's better they start at liqui, or at idex. Well, both markets are where I learn to trade. and maybe this will be useful, as someone who is not so great at trading, it is better to use minimal funds.
Too fast ? What do you mean ?
There is nothing like being too fast when it comes to an exchange, what is important is to just understand all you need to know when it comes to trading effectively.

I started my trading career on bittrex actually with the previous interface and I was able to use it as a platform to learn a lot over the years until I started making use of APIs of the exchanges I am using on other applications that enables me to easily trade without having to log in to an exchange every single time.

Nevertheless, trading platform should not just be the thing a newbie should be after, but knowledge, and I would advise that for someone who is just starting, rather than going in with real money, using demo funds on platform like bitmex demo should be a start for newbies as far as I am concerned.

106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple XRP be the number one cryptocurrency on: October 11, 2018, 07:11:03 PM
I think this is impossible unless the global economic crisis. But I don't think it can go beyond Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the number one coin.
Global economic crisis or whatsoever, XRP cannot top the list of the currencies and if what you guys are looking at is market cap, it is something that would be very hard for us to see actually. One thing with the XRP market is that it is a highly manipulated market since it is centralized anyway and a lot of investors really do not support it and I personally do not even see much future for it. So, I believe no matter how much the team wants to keep pushing it all the way up; this is one coin that always ends up getting R.I.Ppled badly in the long run.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long does it takes for a Token to rise the price after ICO? on: October 11, 2018, 04:55:36 PM

If this is a good ICO, then prices below ICO will not. If ICO has a strong team and they act and follow the roadmap, then the price of the token will increase. Therefore, when investing in ICO, you need to choose high-quality and strong projects.
The eagerness of people to see the price rising rapidly is actually something we won’t stop seeing, and that is a bad mind to have with investment. Yes, the market is highly speculative, but that does not mean we should always take advantage of patience as investors.

As long as the team is strong, the product is something you know will be used in real life and you certainly believe in the future of the project, then focus on it, because there is absolutely no way real life demand will kick in that the value will not rise hugely and that is certainly the gospel truth and if you are not a trader, I see no reason why you should be bothered about short term movements.
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy $1000-$2000 btc per week? on: October 11, 2018, 01:00:59 PM
Hi, I'm wondering what's the best way to buy $1000-$2000 btc per week?  Currently I'm using localbitcoins.com and was wondering if there's a way I can buy direct without going through another person (and without paying more fees to coinbase, etc).  I live in Toronto area, Canada.
There is no way you can buy from any platform without having to pay some certain fees. Those platforms are rendering services, and they are obviously going to have to make some bucks as far as I am concerned. Also, it depends on where you are exactly, but for the likes of exchange like Luno which is available in most Europe and African nation, I would say not being charged for buying bitcoin can be possible but even at that, if you are doing it directly you will be charged the taker's fee which is around 1% but if you go through the trading channel by placing an order, you are charged no fee, but there is always a fee for withdrawal as you cannot hide from that.

Since you have been succeding buying from the sources you listed and have always received your coins, I advise you still stick to them. Trying to buy direct in order to boycott the little transaction charges may expose you to getting scammed. The Internet is a terrible place to trust people.
He can indicate trying to buy on the forum without having to pay any fee actually but that would warrant making use of an escrow which I am sure no escrow will actually do anything for free unless he is just lucky to want to see some trusted members ready to do transactions. As it is, the best thing he can just do is to stick to what he has been doing already as there is actually nothing bad about having to pay just very little fees to be able to purchase bitcoin. There are some exchanges though like Luno, that you can end up trying to boycott paying of fees when it comes to buying bitcoin, but it is not available to most countries.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Investments Why Risky? on: October 11, 2018, 08:43:33 AM
ICOs very risky because there is no guarantee will landed on exchange and guarantee making a profits. We dont see the project work and good product, but we believe mostly because the developers team. Many ICOs become scam because the developers team are greedy and i think its bad for crypto community
There are always going to be scams every now and then and for an environment that is not even regulated and investors who are not very well learned, tend to make silly mistakes by not doing due diligence, it even gets worst. The thing here is that, there is no way you won't be a victim when you do not take into account the things you should know before investing in an ICO.

The team, the product, the business solutions and some other technical things are not just there for nothing, and even if you have to investigate all these things, you have to do it in details and not rush over them, as far as I am concerned.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: October 10, 2018, 04:14:14 PM
it's so funny. That's why many traders fail to invest. When they do not understand blockchain technology, they certainly will not know what to invest in and what to get better mentally. The market goes down. Disruptions occur a lot because traders lack this knowledge. Grin
Most people actually just come into this space without the knowledge of anything and as long as you are trying to do something without knowledge, the chance of thriving in such a space is always going to be low.

I want to believe where so much people should be focusing on this year is the matter of real adoption based on the knowledge and belief a lot of people have, knowing that they will derive in the long run with the space rather than looking for short term wealth from nowhere. It takes patience and understanding to get good things and as long as you do not have it, the goodies in the long run will always be hard to come by.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ForkDelta be careful!!!!!! on: October 10, 2018, 12:17:11 PM
I am very sorry about your case, so far I have used Forkdelta and have no problems.
I bookmark and some important addres so I am not afraid of fishing threats.
I have also been using Fork Delta for a while now and I have had no issues at all.
My guess would be that the OP was possibly deceived into keying into a phishing website and he was not actually on fork delta. The thing with phishing websites is that if you do not pay attention to the website address in details, the chances of falling for it is always going to be high.

It is always necessary to be careful and for the fact that you may have to be making use of your private key almost every time when it comes to using a decentralized exchange unless you are making use of metamask, the chances of getting scooped of your hard earned cash will always be there if you get careless.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 8 EXTREMELY USEFUL TELEGRAM TIPS FOR YOUR ICO on: October 09, 2018, 03:13:34 PM
Airdrop is crap.Basicly paying for increasing a number. There won't be any new members which will stay and start convos there once the airdrop ended.
The ugly truth is sometimes you are required to have these numbers even everyone knows they are fake to hit exchanges requirements.
Airdrop is not bad, it is just a marketing strategy and a way for some ICOs to build a community of holders, so, if it is your intention to get rich fast, then you should not be bothering yourself when it comes to participating in airdrops in the first place and by that, no one is stopping you from doing other things to earn or possibly just investing directly if you have the funds.

Not to divert too much, what the OP has stated is something that is a whole lot good for a very sound project and a great team. Without the community these days, you are nothing and you need to always give a good first impression and keep that impression going for new investors as the keep coming and that can really help a lot with the promotion of the project.
113  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find good bounty ? I need you . Help me ! on: October 09, 2018, 10:49:06 AM
Based on my experience, in finding a good bounty, you should consider a project that is back-up by a strong team. And also, give a background check about the project. Read their whitepaper and if you see that there is something off, or what they are saying is quite ambitious, then don't join it. In joining social media bounty, there are many participants but you can still get a good amount. It's up to you.
A strong team and a strong product are the two major things that anyone should always look out for when it comes to joining a bounty or investing in a project. Many people are always too lazy to dig up to dig up some of these things and over the years, I have realized that if you take your time to do few bounties that are worth it, you will be better off in the long run than when you are just packing every shitty thing that comes your way. Finding good bounty is generally more like finding good project to invest in, and only those who are smart will always know how to go about it.

You only have enough to help market a product from a project that you follow and of course with a good marketing language to get a lot of rewards besides the amount followers of your social media account must be many because it is very influential with the income you get.
Being a part of a social media campaign is not really the thing, finding a good bounty is something that you will have to do by digging up the team, checking the if there is a product available and considering if there is a future for it. Whatever you now want to join afterwards, be it, Signature, social media, Article, bug etc., is now left for you to decide but at the same time, to actually get the best from a bounty, it is always usually better to concentrate on the ones that would really be worth it in the long run and those that would give the chance to pay you more. Usually, the easier it gets, the lower the pay.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know amazing facts or projects in blockchain space? on: October 08, 2018, 03:42:30 PM
The fact that there are companies that take in billions of dollars in funding for the simple ICO's they do and simple projects they show is still outstanding to me. I think coins that made hundreds of millions dollars to do some simple feature above what everyone else is doing doesn't really worth the investment because other coins lack that feature.

I think the most amazing project I have come across seems to be nano. Those dudes made sure the blockchain of nano can handle all the stress it can and still make sure it is as instant as miliseconds. It is fixing a problem we all faced while sending money in bitcoin during bull run, we paid 20-30 dollars sometimes just to send money. We know nano will never have that problem.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Neluns with 1 billion raised in ICO - Who believes that ? on: October 08, 2018, 02:28:07 PM
I cant imagine any ICO making that much fund raiser in their ICO itself. This is precisely 1 billion 95 thousand dollars which they have raised in their ICO and its finishing after 9 hours from the time of posting this topic.

I never thought there will be any ICO which will as successful as they are and this clearly tells me that NELUNS has got something big going down in their country. Because without that big investors will never make such huge investments into them.

Is this something breath taking for you guys ? Do you guys think that NLS (Neluns) will come straight into Top 10 coins after they get listed this month ?
I do not believe ANY ico when they said they raised 1 billion dollars. Do you have any idea how much 1 billion dollar is ?
It is as insane as it gets and 1 billion dollars is not something you can gather without being headlines in many newspapers and news websites.

One billion dollars is a threshold and whenever that is passed it creates huge sounds, that is called "unicorn" in startup world and you would have been audited a long time before that happens. Unfortunately nelsons has none of that and that just tells me that they are trying to show themselves as a huge successful coin that attracted too much money because how great they are. If you need to lie about the hype, you have no hype.
116  Economy / Economics / Re: Apart from trading where else to use crypto? on: October 08, 2018, 10:26:52 AM
Why do you buy something you can't use and that doesn't have any real value.
All these projects have one goal: to take your money then dissapear.
Asides bitcoin, and probably may be Ethereum for its smart contract, I really do not see any crypto out there that has any real life usage as far as I am concerned and all we keep having and all they keep providing is just some speculative market for them and as long as that remains, it makes them utterly useless. For bitcoin however, I guess this is the real deal and one we could say at least, we still easily use it as a form of payment and globally supported at large and I wonder why anyone would want to drop that for just some flimsy altcoins.

I'm using cryptocurrencies as a store of value and as a backup. If anything goes wrong in my life there's always that small amount of money that nobody will be able to take from me.
Sounds like a plan but you cannot be sure about that no one could take away from you. Cryptos are more vulnerable for theft and hacking like any other store of value. But, cold storage and having multi key wallets may enable you to protect your cryptos more easily.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Evolution of money from barter system to crypto currency on: October 08, 2018, 09:17:31 AM
I dont think that. At present, the price of the altcoins are quite variable. And the fact that we put electronic money in our wallet, it will be more volatile in a day. Your money can be reduced from $ 100k to $ 60k in just one day. First of all, I think the Crypto market needs to be protected and modified before being used around the world.
Protection and modification is not the thing that would make the situation that you have just mentioned die off, it is actually the usage around the world that would make the volatility to become less in the long run. That is what a lot of people are really not getting today.

This right now that we have in our hands is a purely speculative market, we see people getting greedy and wanting to get rich over night without even knowing the real value or the benefit the space brings in the long run, and as long as there is no real life usage, this is something we will end up seeing. Nonetheless, I still so much believe in the future of us getting to that spot.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: October 07, 2018, 03:58:37 PM
The OP seems to imply that somehow gambling increases illegal activities and gives the example of prostitution and the consumption of drugs, but what gambling does at best is to attract those kind of people because they know that the people inside the casino have money to spare, but gambling in itself does not increase those activities, those activities will happen anyway, however there are some crimes that could go up due to the influence of gambling, for example those that are addicted to gambling will probably steal money to try to feed their addiction.
Yeah I agree to this that gambling is responsible for the increasing crimes in the community. Nice and wise people will never gamble because they know the consequences of gambling. In my community a gambler has no respect even in his own home. He is just an idol person of the community. If he has a lot of money and no respect then he should think about his life.
I would rather say people are generally responsible for the crimes they commit and it has nothing to do with gambling at all. I understand just like the OP and so many people have said that it is a normal thing to see a lot of people associating criminal activities like drugs, weapon and ammunition dealings and the likes when it comes to gambling, but really, with or without gambling, that does not stop criminal activities from still taking place in a society.

I think what most people really have about casino is that a responsible person does not gamble and that makes it filled with irresponsible people who are prone to criminal and immoral activities, but that is a lie.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: October 07, 2018, 01:09:31 PM
Gambling games will never promise us to win. Gambling is a thing that is closely related to luck and the danger that gambling is very bad because it has an addiction effect. my opinion that stay away from the game of gambling because away from us we have tried to make our future become much better. Gambling games will only make ugliness because this is one way to go to destruction. Stay away from the gambling game and we will further away from destruction !!
There was never any promise right from the onset when it comes to gambling, it is just some set of people who over the years, all by themselves, developed this idea of trying to want to imagine themselves in a very big win, and then set the promise for themselves which makes a lot of people today find it very hard to get out from gambling even after they are losing so much and still losing.

Setting a high expectation for any form of gambling to me, is generally a bad idea, and for those who have done that, I can bet it has never really ended well for them. Wining in gambling is only something that comes with luck and better to wrap your head around that, knowing that luck will not always be available before starting to gamble.
120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Miners are alive If BTC reach to $3000 ? And Is it possible ? on: October 06, 2018, 04:27:43 PM
In the bear market BTC price not stable and Most of Trading Analysis are predict BTC will reach $3k according to the theory of market cycle. I have more doubt If BTC reaches $3000 Miners are alive Huh
- BTC Reach $3k I guess most of the mining farms will be stopped. Is it possible to maintain mining forms at the market situation (BTC at $3K) ?
- When Miners are reducing in BTC blockchain what will happen for the transaction?
- Can we expect BTC going down to $3k Is it possible according to TA and Do we need to trust TA?

All Discussion are warmly welcome  Smiley
Miners are not alive depending on the price, they know what they are doing when they buy or sell bitcoin with what they are doing from the costs. If a miner mines bitcoin for a cost of $5k than it means he will not sell it anything under the $5k, if the other one mines at a cost of $3k than he doesn't sell it under that price.

It all comes down to this fact, if a miner sells for $8k than it means there are a lot of bitcoins to be sold at $8k however when you go lower than the buyer/seller number falls of and price doesn't fall further, its all about the simple fact of demand/supply, if miners don't sell their coins than there won't be a fall in the price automatically.
