61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or ETH, what good to own now?? on: October 22, 2018, 08:26:32 AM
Definitely ethereum. I think the price has fallen way too much and it will have a correction upwards of 300$ soon.
The miners are all around the world since ethereum mining is easier than bitcoin mining, anyone with 6 graphic cards can have a "rig" and mine ethereum which allowed all "everday regular miner" types into mining ethereum and they have been getting out of ethereum for mining other stuff but nothing beats the times ethereum was higher.

The ICO people trying to achieve some funds to make new coins and the old ones are selling their ethereum funds to cover expenses on their new coins but they will run out soon. All things considered ethereum looks like it needs to get up to actually have a force in the field again and there are too many people that would profit from it. LTC going higher would help some people but ETH going up would help way too many people comparatively.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: December is coming no real growth for alts yet... on: October 22, 2018, 06:18:30 AM
People in the world of cryptocurrency are all hoping, expecting, praying and also wishing that come the end of this year -- December 2019 -- there can be a bull run for both Bitcoin and the rest of the cryptocurrency market. Sadly, things are not yet picking up and I am not seeing big signs that we can have it this year.

I am concerned that if there will be bull run (even a mild one will do) this year, we can be starting the year 2019 with a gloomy mood setting up for the rest of the year a bearish situation. Of course, not unless maybe there can be that ETF thing approval from SEC maybe that can be the big difference.
There are two things wrong with your idea. First of all it doesn't matter if its December or not and crypto currencies do not go up every year at the same time, if that happened we would all buy coins at October and sell at January and make a killing, we would all be rich. That can't happen, bitcoin and altcoins do not go up and down at the same time of the year every year that is insane to think that is possible.

However, lets assume you are right and coins go up in December every single year, we are still in October and we still have a long way to go to December. Last year during 21th of October it was again at around $6k levels whereas the price was more than $20k when it reached all time high.

Hence, if you believe the price should be going up we still have time to reach those levels but I think you should prepare yourself that the price probably won't do the same thing every year.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO themselves are destroying the institution of the ICO!? on: October 21, 2018, 03:18:41 PM
ICO themselves are destroying the institution of the ICO!?
I think the greed that prevents changing the world is to blame for everything!
It is both increasing its awareness and hurting its value all at the same time.

I mean if you are investing into an actual good token or ICO than you already made a decent chunk of profit from it, there are some people who made insane returns from ICO investments and they made so much more profit that they reinvested into another ICO thinking they will do that type of profit again and than reinvested again and again until they invested into a scam ICO and all of a sudden "ICO's are all scam nowadays", well no you have invested into so many ICO that eventually you found a scam one. People who find the scam ICO's at first or second try are also quite troublesome because they believe ICO's are not that good from the start.

In reality there are very few good ones but the ones that really blossom thanks to funds have made x100 or more to the investors so far such as IOTA for example. I would suggest not investing on ICO's in a rush because it is not something you should do quickly, it is more like a slow and steady work and you should really research them well in order to make sure it is not a scam coin that would hurt your finances.
64  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to trade altcoins? on: October 21, 2018, 06:52:15 AM
Personally, I would not trade Bitcoin for altcoin but its everyone's choice to make, not mine. And if I was to look into altcoin trading I'd probably go for XRP, or EOS because they seem to be highly ranked altcoins.
Yes, I too do not think it is the right time to invest into altcoins by risking bitcoins.

Right now it doesn't matter if the bitcoin price goes up or goes down because whichever happens the price of altcoins are going down. Hence, there is really no reason to trade altcoins at this moment and there is no winning with them currently, maybe if you find some good coins that has a chance of making some profits but that's really hard to find and honestly very risky as well.

I would suggest sticking to investing into bitcoin right now, the more money you invest into bitcoin the more chance of making profits when the bull hits. Whenever the bull market hits we will have a chance to select on which coin to invest afterwards, you will know when the bull run arrives by checking the altcoin prices, right now when bitcoin goes up the altcoins go down but when the bull arrives when bitcoin goes up the altcoins will go up as well at which point you can start to invest into them as well.
65  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Tradesatoshi Exchange – The NEW home of traders! on: October 21, 2018, 05:18:24 AM
This exchange is friendly interface but they listed coins that not familiar for many trader, many coin tradeable there i never heard so better also to list some mayor coin to attrack new trader.
I actually noticed they have a lot of tradable coins and being a new exchange, I really would not be surprised anyway since a lot of exchanges that are new, do not usually have strict listing rules. I have been skeptical to make use of this for a while now, not like I really want to be making a huge use of it regularly as an exchange for trading but at least, for some tokens I am holding in my ETH wallet, and then taking advantage of their growth. Although I have seen some good reviews and not so good reviews, but I always like the idea of better being safe than sorry.

I been use this exchange, and this good to trade gem coin that has low market cap, will be more interesting if this exchange add feature of stop limit order to minimize the risk from high volatility of gem coin.
Unfortunately, I really do not see a good review on this exchange until now on this forum and I wonder how you were able to get this from this exchange. Although, I have some tokens I invested in during ICOs listed in this exchange, I simply just like the idea of waiting until I see an exchange that I trust and can rely on, which trade satoshi so far is not one of them, but whichever way, I guess I may just have to give it a little try anytime soon, and see if I have been wrong all these while.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DEVELOPING A WINING MINDSET IN TRADING. on: October 21, 2018, 03:24:44 AM
If you blindly trust yourself and think you are a great trader and go for what you believe in the end there will be consequences for your losses.

If you buy more and more from something that looks like it dropped out of nowhere than there are really only two options, either it is a good coin that didn't deserved to be that much down like ethereum right now and eventually it will go up so your "wining mindset" would work in that, or it will be really a scam coin that should have been down and you are following a scam coin like a cult and believe it will make you rich overnight but in reality it will go to 1 satoshi or whatever and you will lose all your investment with it, just like people who followed bitconnect until all of their money was gone.

So your winning mindset is helpful but only if you are really into a coin that is legitimately great, if you follow a scam coin that way you will lose everything, this is dangerous, be careful when you are doing this and make sure you are doing it for the right reasons.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good day for arbitraging on: October 21, 2018, 01:34:30 AM
While the market is in a state of uncertainty, you need to find your chance. Now there will be a lot of situations when the value of coins on different exchanges will be very different. And for the one who likes to engage in arbitration - this is the golden time.
Well, even if you are going to be finding your chance when it comes to the market, you still need to be very careful considering how volatile the market is. However, what happened with Tether recently as far as I am concerned, did not bring about any room for arbitrage since everything we saw was tether losing its value and people getting to want to opt out at all cost.

For what it is worth though, arbitraging is still something a whole lot of people do every day as long as they find a huge spread for certain pairs between exchanges, so it is always a good day for arbitraging as long as you get something to lay your hands on and you know what you are doing.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just invested in one strange but cool project. on: October 20, 2018, 02:01:38 PM
Right now just about all main crypto greeting card businesses tend to be battling to provide genuinely worldwide crypto credit cards answer, we question exactly how this particular brand new task will give you these types of providers once the large businesses tend to be battling?
Very strange and cool indeed. I recently got to find out about this project and I was amazed about their product, their business solution, the team behind the great work and the great prospect this project has and I must say this is a pretty good project worth investing. For a project or product that would be usable worldwide and bring about ease in the system of payment, I would say it is a very good start and for the fact that this would allow new business and merchants to see the need for easily using the space without stress is awesome.

I know the developers of this project. They put together a very good team. Now they are silent. Interestingly, there is news?
I must say the teams are pretty well vast in their field of interest and judging from the way things are going already, I would say it is a very good start of a new beginning for this project. There are some projects you just get to see and based on the team, the MVP and the business idea, in terms of real life usage, you just know t this is the deal and I really believe that Orbis will not let their investors down. I have also invested in this project and I am really looking forward to its long term growth.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CyberMiles better than Ethereum? Will change e-commerce? on: October 20, 2018, 10:12:46 AM
CyberMiles is a blockchain that is focused on the e-commerce market. The idea is to open up the online marketplace by allowing ordinary people to create and execute smart contracts. The question then arises, what makes it any different from Bitcoin or Ethereum?
Change for what? did not you even understand about the real problem of e-commerce that related to the crypto? It's about the volatility, the scalability doesn't matter on this case. Whatever how fast your blockchain if that was having a lot of volatility and then it will be useless. e-commerce is not about creating the blockchain which solved scalability.

Maybe you're right but i have faith in cybermiles, let's wait and see
No one is saying you should not have faith in cybermiles, it is a good project, a solid idea, a nice product with a magnificent team developing it every day which I believe growth is something we will get to see for this one anyway but trying to compare it with Ethereum is the thing here which does not actually make sense.

Asides the fact that CMT is basically for ecommerce smart contracts, there are so many other smart contract platforms that are really trying to gain relevance and it seems the competition for smart contract platform is really getting tough, but all the same, there is a chance always for projects with great ideas, which I believe CMT is one of them.

But the history always known for surprising us. Joke have become a hit and many solid concepts gone by failing to create impacts. Let's see how cybermiles will do.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does a cryptocurrency gain followers? on: October 20, 2018, 08:01:22 AM
In other words, what makes you decide to follow a project?
Mainly through mainstream media for the really new ones and crypto news media and the price changes for the ones that used to be interested and not interested anymore. People who have no idea what bitcoin is usually sees it from reddit and twitter and instagram or whatever type of social media they are using and they see a lot of news about how bitcoin went up in price to $20k and it is going to skyrocket and they are missing out and what not and they get into it (of course many leave after a while realizing they are already too late to get in which they are not but they are usually inpatient) and then there are people who get in once upon a time but left after the market is not that bull for their taste. Those people get back in when they hear once again bitcoin is going up or they get in because they are bored and want to care about something again.

All of this comes down to the fact that the higher bitcoin price goes the more people are interested in it.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OPINION NEEDED - Building a wiki-like free project about world of crypto trading on: October 20, 2018, 06:41:46 AM
Love the idea. Very rich subject. Both wide and deep. And there's alot of talent here. Also have a look at tradingview.com You can join for free. People actively share information there and you might pick up some people interested in participating.
I'm Marcie, a founder at the Panxora group - Panxora.com
Good luck.
It is indeed a very rich one, and even though it is not like we do not have something close like investopedia, at the same time, it is not a bad idea at all, considering that information cannot be too much and judging from the fact that with this being a sort after platform based on the content available freely on it, it would really go a long way for both newbies seeking for knowledge as well as professionals getting to gain more knowledge as time goes on.

What the team should be focused as well about should be some of the risks involved in trading, how to go about it, some need for certain knowledge and so on. I believe the team should be able to come up with something great anyway. At least, the idea of wiki is to have people coming to share knowledge on certain subjects or all subjects as the case may be and I believe it should be rich.
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Begginers in trading ( share you experiences about trading ) on: October 20, 2018, 04:31:12 AM
Well, people have already provided you with a lot of tips and useful information Smiley The only thing I can add is that you will need a reputable and user-frienly exchange. I suggest CEX (https://cex.io/). It has a limited number of currency pairs, but their security is great which is essential for dealing with crypto.
CEX ? If you are really looking for a reputable exchange with a lot of supported cryptocurrencies that you can trade, I would rather go for the likes of Bittrex or Binance. Why CEX ?

I am not saying CEX is a bad exchange, but when you are comparing exchanges with each other, CEX does not even stand the chance of the top 5 in the market.

As a beginner in trading however, what you should even be doing first is to learn and afterwards practice using a demo site like that of bitmex to get your hands dirty, fine tune your strategy and then get better, while now deciding if you want to go into spot trading or leverage trading which in that case I would rather choose binance most especially.
73  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the best time period in a day for Crypto trading??? on: October 20, 2018, 03:00:57 AM
The current market price is unstable in the day as today. It was from $ 6,600 and dropped to $ 6200, so stopping losses in day is still a difficult thing to say. A few days ago I invested XLM at $ 0.3 per coin, but now it's down to $ 0.21 per coin.
There is even no best time at all, the market is 24 hours and accessible, which in this case, you only want to know what you are doing. Market can make a move at any time it pleases. It is a very volatile market, there will always be movements now and then, but if you are really considering trading daily, then you really just want to be sure you have the knowledge to pull it through, which to me is what is mostly important. For what it is worth, as long as you have the perfect strategy to pull it off and you have some pretty good experience, anytime of the day you make a trade, you will still be doing well.

The best time period in a day is that when you free and no other work to do. You can spend that time for bitcoin trading, because when are mentally free you will better focus on trading and will make good and right decisions on the right time.
Well, since the crypto space is all round the clock, including weekends, anytime you really want to trade, you will see a trade to always make. There is really no best time, there is just best strategy which is to have the knowledge to trade daily as well as the experience and then try as much as possible not to over stress yourself so much in doing so as you will always want to be in the right set of mind. Day trading is not an easy task and even though can be profitable; you really want to be sure you are ready for those intraday headaches.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do one Know which Cryptocurrency to Purchase on: October 19, 2018, 06:25:19 PM
I usually follow the team and try to see if there is any improvements and news coming up. When a coin is going up in price it is usually because they have done something new and not all of a sudden (except the pump and dumps). Hence, if I want to make a profit from buying a new coin I need to be around the team and really need to know if the coin is trying to do something new.

For example spectre is working towards building a v3 for themselves, trying to improve into proof-of-stealth which will be new in crypto world and they are working on a mobile app, considering all of these at the same periods, if you purchase it right now and sell after all of these are done the price should be high, sometimes stuff like these doesn't change the price that much but I honestly have seen too many coins increase in price with each step and collectively they increase the price a lot.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What thing you much check before investing in an ICO? on: October 19, 2018, 05:13:10 PM
I also spend a lot of time studying the project in which I am going to invest. This is a slow process if you really want to invest in a good project. I pay attention to the team, how much information is there about them and how fair is it. Also, an important fact is the communication of managers and representatives of the project with the community on the Telegram channel, for example. Website design, well-written by WhitePaper and much more.
Studying is one thing that you must always imbibe as a culture when it comes to ICO investment, if you do not want to end up getting the wrong side of being a part of a scam. ICOs can be very risky and you really want to know how to manage those risks and be able to make quality decisions.

The best way to practically do this most of the time is to check if there is a minimum viable product, if the team looks like a solid one that is capable of bringing about further development, and the market that this product serves and how the possibility of demand can skyrocket in the long run for it. These are the qualities you want to be looking for.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaigns on: October 19, 2018, 12:43:05 PM
It all depends on your own desire to participate in the bounty campaigns, usually 2 to 3 months. The answer is in yourself and certainly according to your plans and expectations when you want to participate.
2 to 3 months ? I have seen several good projects that have gone for as long as 4 months before and even more than that, the only thing is to just understand the prospect for such bounty so you do not end up wasting your time and if you feel it is a project worth it, no matter how long it takes, I really do not see any problem at all in it.

There is no recommended time frame as it depends on the team and the project entirely. Some bounty campaigns can last for few weeks and some could last for as long as months depending on when the ICO will end. So the choice is yours if you want to participate till the end of the bounty or whatever decision you want to make. As far as I am concerned, there is no normal running month, and some bounties will even start before the beginning of pre-sale stage and then till the public ICO ends, while some will just do a quick one.

What is in the whole thing is to just at least find what suits you, know there is a prospect, and know if it is the amount of time you are willing to be a part of it for. At the end of it all, the decision is always yours to make.
77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Trade cryptocurrencies comfortably with profit on: October 19, 2018, 09:22:16 AM
Many have asked 'is it possible to trade cryptocurrency comfortably and still make profit?' The answer could be yes, though it depends on many factors.
Best way to trade has always been trend trading.

If you look at the price of bitcoin whenever it goes up 3%-5% range than it goes up a bit more and whenever it goes down 3%-5% range it goes down a bit more. Except recently when it is just stable and not moving much to any sides.

If you do not count these last 2 months trend trading has been a great method. Check out the altcoins for it because they are more volatile than bitcoin, bitcoin even tho much more volatile than the regular stuff like stocks and golds it is still more stable than altcoins which can change 50% in a day easily.

I have seen a coin pumped to 800% in a day, that was the max I have seen, in a regulated market that would have been a problem but in crypto it is alright. Hence, if you see a coin pumped a lot you can get in early and take advantage of it. Just don't get in too late because than you will be part of the dump.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on?? on: October 18, 2018, 04:06:23 AM
base on my opinion yes there is a great chance it will go up by the end of the year considering the fact theres a lot of institutional investors jumping in the past few weeks, but there is a low possibility of going down, so you really have to do some research on your own and analize the market.
Even if it does not go up immediately or before the end of the year, one way or the other it would go up no matter how long it takes. Market comes in 2 cycles, and right now the bears are in control with the bulls currently trying to fight back and it is how this fight ends that would determine how things eventually turn out or how they end up not turning out as the case may be. Considering though that a lot of institutional investors are popping in, we are seeing some pretty good news in the market, I believe at this point, people should get used to the fact that buying into this market now would not be a bad idea.

I think the price of Bitcoin will still rise, but I can't give you the exact time. I think the bitcoin is waiting for the approval of the ETF!
There is actually nothing to think about that, this is something that would end up happening eventually. No one can give a specific time or possibility of when this might happen, but one way or the other, we just have to be patient. We are seeing a lot of improvements lately, with the institutions wanting to be a part of this ecosystem and coming up with their own ways of doing things, Fidelity helping hedge funds and so on and so forth. These are great developments and if people are not really getting to see that the future id great, I wonder what they are seeing then. One thing I know for sure is that, it is worth waiting for.
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: Potential for future growth of electronic money in 2019 on: October 18, 2018, 02:37:00 AM
The good part we are missing out is that "electronic money" which is basically digital money is favoring us more than fiat. Right now we are all in charge of our money and we can do whatever we want with it. When the banks controlled our money there wasn't that option for us because they controlled the money and what to do with it. Take a look at the investments of the banks, they are basically so big that they own almost 90% of all stock market, just banks, owning 90% of all stocks (meaning the companies with it as well) means banks ruled all business around the world as well.

With taking our money away from banks and into crypto and hopefully one day manage to live with that instead of fiat we are killing banks slowly and they could potential cripple the market but we would not be bothered because even if the fiat devalues (great for crypto) and markets collapse and everything worth more (great for crypto prices) and companies bankrupt for cashlessness (not so great for all of us that works there but great for crypto) we would still be coming out top and taking their powers from them.
80  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: the right time to trade, or wait until the market returns to normal? on: October 18, 2018, 01:33:01 AM
Right now is not the right time to "trade" in short term deals, if you are doing daily trading or if you buy and hold for couple days and sell it is not the right time to do it. However, if you want to do long term trading right now is the most perfect time you can find.

People all around the world keeps saying "I wish I got into bitcoin when it was couple bucks" but they are missing the cheap price of bitcoin and almost everything else as well and they think they will not be upset about this one. If you purchase coins that do not worth what they used to believe me when they break the ath prices you are going to have like 2000% increase in your investment and that means even a small investment into them would mean a major improvement for your life.

I have been collecting many coins that dropped insanely, not putting up huge amounts but putting up like 50-100 dollars on each of them would mean 3-4 thousand dollars when they go back to high levels again.
