121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin worthy to buy ? right now? on: October 06, 2018, 02:36:24 PM
I believe it is still good to buy since price of btc has not reached the highest price this year. Well, some users has a doubt on bitcoin future but if you are not decided yet to invest might as well do a research. This will guide you through investing in bitcoin.
It is really a good time to buy as far as I am concerned, we really cannot tell how the market would go in direction from here based on breakout from the descending triangle, but at least, we have seen the way the $6k region has been holding up this year and it seems the demand here is pretty strong at least for now.

No one knows tomorrow, but it is a chance worth taking for now, considering that there may actually be a possible midterm rally anyway, before the end of the year but like I said, nothing is actually guaranteed but for anyone going long, this is a good time to buy and even if we get to see more dips, I just say buy more.
122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you ever been hacked on a crypto trading platform? (share your experience) on: October 06, 2018, 10:21:27 AM
I can bet he is not using the additional security features such as 2FA which is why it was very easy for the hacker to get in, otherwise that would not have been possible.

At this day and age, I expect that by now, people should have learned the importance of using a very strong password to their accounts that cannot easily be brute forced, and then making use of the securities applicable to them which will make it very hard for any hacker to get in and hackers usually do not always like hard time with something, as long as it does not look feasible, they move on to the next target.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BER MONTHS, still legit? on: October 05, 2018, 05:14:54 PM
I believe that the last 2-3 months of 2018 year will be really interesting and all of us will see forgotten bull run!)
Well, we are in those months actually now, and we may not see much movement per se until may be the middle of October or towards the end, which I believe the way things are looking technically, as long as nothing ends up going wrong with bitcoin, then the likelihood of seeing some uptrend across board might be possible.

It is still too early to start judging what would be the outcome of these coming months towards the year ending, but at least, we can be hopeful and optimistic, while still keeping in mind, that this is a market and nothing is actually guaranteed fully except to just be patient, monitor the trend and follow it as the case may be.

125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tone Vays says target is 5000$ on: October 04, 2018, 05:19:25 PM
Have you guys watched latest Tone Videos? He's very peculiar about all of it but predicts 5000 and maybe 1300

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gS1JQWtGaiM
I think if you spew enough bullshit in the end you can be right eventually. Even a stopped clock can be right twice a day. I am sorry but if you say that bitcoin will be $5k eventually or it can be $9k eventually, you have a big chance of being right in both cases, it CAN do any of that.

However, I see nothing happening to these guys when they are wrong, they just come up with a new version of their "target" next time and go on living their life. They go like "but I revised it later and said it would go up" and whatever when they realize they are wrong. Don't listen to these guys, never. Do your own research.
126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Insider News : big dump on the 15th october on: October 04, 2018, 02:43:55 PM
I have real inside news about a massive 90% bitcoin price dump on 15th October, followed by a 1000% pump on the day after that.I can't post any links whatsoever, because it's super secret.Don't tell anybody. Grin
By yhe way, that 5000 USD prediction by the middle of October is not so unrealistic.I actually think that it might happen. The OP's post about "insider info" was funny and I couldn't resist to make a joke about it.
I guess we are all starting to have insider news sarcastically now, don't we Grin ?

I only pity people that listen to this and then follow it gullible, and when the market starts rising on that date, they start asking what's up with the insider news they heard about. This is just some dude trying to just have his fun by coming up with a story he has cooked up in his mind.

Even though, like you said, anything can happen after or before that date and $5k is unrealistic as that has actually always been the point I have been looking forward to for reversal anyway, I would still say at the same time, the only thing that give us any news at the moment, is the price action on the chart.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why creating more coins. on: October 04, 2018, 07:16:29 AM
There is many people who has different vision on the cryptocurrency. And if one have an instrument for creating his own coin, he will obviously create it. Why he should deny himself the pleasure of creating a new cryptocurrency?
People will always have vision and an idea and one thing with idea in the past is that when you do not have funding or when you do not have a product and you find it hard to even project it out there or have the funds to push it, the project eventually becomes dead. This is one thing I have known the blockchain technology to have changed and people with ideas are really taking advantage of it which is why we keep seeing more coins being created, on and on.

The only thing here though is that, there are also some greedy ones who are just out there to scam and really do not have any product to want to give than to cart away with investors fund, which is why it is important to always invest in a project with a product and not an empty promise.
128  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency news on: October 03, 2018, 05:18:44 PM
I mean that is good to hear that more and more countries are open to crypto currency and are making it more accessible to the people, but i have to wonder how it will all work? Wil you input a wallet? Or do you guys have a local wallet. I understand buying crypto currency with your ATM, but how will you sell it?
Government coming together to accept the usage of cryptocurrency as well as embracing blockchain technology is something that would end up happening eventually. So far, we have seen different government in some parts of the world trying and daring to make those changes since they know the benefit they stand to gain in the long run.

Yeah, it is always hard to see an embrace of a new technology as some would always want to take their time before even trying to consider. Take a look at internet, email and so on; things would not obviously just happen overnight as it surely will take some gradual process, so I believe it is something that would happen eventually.
129  Economy / Economics / Re: The whole market is going down. Any particular reason for that? on: October 03, 2018, 02:15:52 PM
The market is going down because people are taking their profit converting it into Fiat,
That is the only reason I see why the market keeps on going down.
At this stage, I would say the market has really gone down more than enough, and it is possible we can even start seeing a retrace as the case may be.

We just need to understand that it is a normal thing for a market to experience a downtrend which is called correction after an uptrend, and most especially, when that uptrend for fueled by greed at some point and every newcomer FOMOing.

The weak hands will always get to bail out and repeat the same process again and as long as they keep doing the same thing over and over again, while expecting different results, the whales will keep having a filled day. If a market is going down, then, buy the dips, it is just a chance for everyone to get equal chance, but since a lot of people are just after the getting rich fast thing, the joining of FOMOs is one thing they will always do.
130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do people keep saying bitcoin is disappearing? on: October 03, 2018, 12:44:37 PM
These people are aiming for short-term profits, usually in fiat currency.

Best advice is that you aim for long-term, and stop checking the price every day.
And it is that short term profit mentality and the idea of wanting to get rich quick that has made so many people to miss lifetime opportunities, or probably make the wrong market decisions. People will say anything negative as long as something is not going the way they please and as long as they have no understanding of the general market and the fact that downtrends are normal entirely. This is the reason why they will always panic sell most of the time, and then blame whales for an actions they have stupidly made. Any long term holder surely knows the reason why they are targeting the long term. Something a lot of people find hard to know.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Futures on: October 03, 2018, 10:34:12 AM
Why do you people keep doing these? Do you people really believe that the SEC intervention in Bitcoin is the only way bitcoin will be able to stand in the future ? SEC or not,  Bitcoin future in the long run is really bright. So I don't understand this unnecessary hype between Bitcoin and SEC. If the upcoming meeting did not turn out well,  Bitcoin will keep on moving.
The thing is that bitcoin has always stood the test of time without futures and I wonder why a lot of people pay so much attention to it like it is some kind of a lifesaving event. Futures are even settled in fiat, so what are we really then looking at ?

Like you said, SEC or not, bitcoin has been growing over the years and it keeps growing and growing, and I really do not see how and SEC move or whatsoever would bring that the future of bitcoin on its own will not bring anyway. People have just decided to create their own hype based on how they feel or think, or probably because they are just looking for a reason why the market should just go bullish.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When hard fork arrived, what should I be prepared? on: October 03, 2018, 08:45:29 AM
first of all it is better to keep your belongings in a safe personal wallet. if you keep your coin in exchange you can lost or you can miss getting from fork coin. actually you should be away from keeping your belongings in an exchanges all the time.
That is normally the thing almost everyone should do with forks as we have seen a fork on the Ethereum blockchain in the past that really did not go well for some people who had no control of their funds. Owning your private key to the wallet where you keep your funds is the main thing to always look out for and every other thing can come into play and stay away from transactions as well even few weeks after the fork until there is a clear signal there is no damage and things are going smoothly.

best not to do any transaction during the hard fork period. you can withdrawal your coin in to your wallet before the hard fork start.
Yes, avoiding sending/receiving well in advance like 12 to 15 hours is highly suggested. But, keeping coins in exchange will not hurt anyone but sometimes, you may be forced to follow the same chain which is opted by your exchange. Holding in our personal wallet and keeping the private keys is the best option to choose our preferred chain or to enjoy both of the chains.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Consider these before investing in cryptocurrency on: October 02, 2018, 08:46:54 PM
I think the most important thing is the marketcap, people keep investing into stuff like ripple for example saying its just 60 cents or whatever it is right now and it can go to 2 dollars easily. That is not how the trading world works, you need to increase the marketcap for the price to go up and when marketcap is 24 billion dollars its not easy to increase it.

"Just 2 dollars from 60 cents" is not a good way to invest into something. Ethereum is like 240 dollars each yet same marketcap with ripple that only means the supply for ripple is a lot more. You need to know what eth is (ico king) and what ripple is (blockchain company) and watch what they are doing and not the prices.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: buy Altcoins on this time ??? on: October 02, 2018, 06:54:13 PM
It is definitely a great chance to get some alts now, because the price is also wonderful!
It is a move any smart individual obviously want to be taking looking at the way things have been for a while with the market recently.

Certainly, if given the chance at the moment, we will get to see a lot of the altcoins going bullish and since there is a huge possibility to see bitcoin go sideways for a while inside the descending triangle before seeing a plain direction for the bitcoin market in the short term, we might end up seeing some of the altcoins picking up very fast.

Moreover, unless you are going long and worried less about the market going lower, then I would say you have nothing to worry about, but considering the volatility of the market, it is still very important to be cautious at least.
135  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Solution for your market problems. on: October 02, 2018, 04:24:26 PM
There is no good solution now to control prices or reduce manipulation in the market, it is very difficult for this free market to do anything and the real price moves naturally depending on demand and supply, it has happened in a few years with hype everywhere so many lay investors make a big panic, maybe what will improve the situation is time, the older the more mature in the future with full maturity in everyone, now there is no good solution from various people because the real market moves by itself, without which regulates and cannot be predicted at all every trend that will be faced in the future.
The only good solution when it comes to manipulation is to start seeing some regulation in place for exchanges most especially, but since exchanges will always be situated in different region, it would be very hard to have a full control on how each exchanges run, unless maybe every country comes together to come with a framework on how to go about regulating the crypto sphere to at least subside manipulations as the case may be, and this is the only way we will get to see less volatility.

Asides that, mass adoption based on real life usage can also help, so in that way, we also have to understand that the only thing anyone can do in this case is just to be patient and learn how to deal with every situation at a time and the way it comes.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: October 02, 2018, 08:23:16 AM
It is not good advice to sell the bounty tokens for loos because if you joined in good bounty which has the capability to develop further level then it is good to hold them as long as possible because with the development it will create a lot of trust in the community and the chances of increasing price are huge.
I do not even expect any bounty participant to be picking any how project unless there is a good future for it or else they really do not care about the project performance in the long run and they are just after what they want to get in the short term. For what it is worth, I believe that anyone who is smart should always be able to identify a very good project and they should consider themselves as investors as well. Most people who approach bounty this way are the ones who always tend to wait for the long term as long as the potential is still intact.

I will sell my token despite its price is much cheaper than ICO's price. Because there is no reason to hold it in the bear market.
If you sell with the plan of buying back in open market after the bottom is hit then probably you are going good. You must contribute to an ICO after many analysis then you can avoid selling them in losses. Otherwise, you might need to sell in losses and any recovery could be seen with that particular market for ever.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you long on, and why? on: October 01, 2018, 05:01:52 PM
I think ether and wave token are good for long term ether now are very low and its time to buy and hold it wave token also are good because they have own market like bitcoin that is why both of them are good to hold for a long term.
I am always going to be long on bitcoin forever even though I still go long on altcoins to increase my bitcoin stash in the long run anyway but altcoins are just basically short term, they always come back down to meet me after selling the peaks and until then when i can see they are now being sustainable on their own, I would not give a damn about holding alts for too long anymore.

For the moment though, with altcoins, I am long on most of the top 20 coins with ADA, Waves and NEO being my major target for some good gains, I guess we have to wait and see how things would unfold.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: ETF, Bitcoin and the risk of manipulation with derivates on: October 01, 2018, 03:54:00 PM
I know derivatives are horrible and it looks scary but bitcoin is barely getting into ETF market, if bitcoin gets accepted as an ETF which I think is still quite far away than there is still a long way to derivatives as well.

Let's wait out until bitcoin gets accepted as ETF let alone derivatives before we overreact on the risks of manipulation.
But, if you are worrying about the manipulation think of it this way we already have people (whales) who manipulate the market buying bitcoin or selling it whereas this would be derivative that will not be buying or selling directly and just wager on which direction bitcoin will go without actually buying bitcoin.
139  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading experience on: September 30, 2018, 07:43:36 PM
Trading on a daily basis requires extensive knowledge, the market never allows us to make a profit if based solely on luck, so in my opinion newcomers should start trading for a long time. . Do not invest in surfing. very high risk

Good knowledge combined with good self control will be required to start daily trading because not all the time the price movement will be in our favor. There will be a hard time when the price against us for a long period of time and we have to make fast and best decision.
In most cases, when you already have good knowledge and you have been able to practice pretty well and build some confidence in making market decisions, self-control will always be something that would be easy to come by.

The main reason why a lot of people still get emotional in trading is because they tend to rush things and then forget that as long as they keep doing that, they will just realize that the time it would have taken them to learn and practice pretty well before going into the real world of trading would have been shorter than the time they have spent doing rubbish and losing a lot at the end.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should investors trust ethereum anymore? on: September 30, 2018, 05:44:29 PM
I'm not a specialist but I think investors will still use Ethereum because of ICOs, yes the price of Ethereum is decreasing but it's not means people will stop using Ethereum. I also think the price of Ethereum can go up in the future, just wait until the price of bitcoin increase and when it happen Ethereum price will go up too.
That is something certain and with the news we have been hearing from Vitalik recently when it comes to the development in the Ethereum blockchain, I would say there would still be more to come for its usage. The fact that it has birthed several ICOs and still has the possibilities of birthing more is something that cannot be ruled out. Even though competitions are arising daily, the first movers advantage is still there for Ethereum, which simply shows the support will still be there as long as development does not lag and the team keep doing their best to get things done properly.

The demand of ICOs has dropped in the bear market since the beginning of this year. Most of the ICOs from last year are at >90% loss and they are not recovering anytime soon. Those who did invest in them are having a bad time. This has affected the price of ethereum as well because those who are panicking are not able to hold their ICO tokens and selling them for ETH. Thereby dropping the price of ETH more. Added on top of this was the announcement and rolling out of Ethereum PoS in place of PoW. As usual some people will not accept it and they will just sell away their holdings.
Yes, I would not blame any investor and this is also one of the reasons why we have seen so many projects waiting for the market to stabilize to a good extent before even hitting an exchange with some holding back at the moment. This is a normal thing to see during a bear market, judging that any project that get listed at the end anyway, you can always still be able to get the best when buying the dips, if you have the mindset of getting in when they are already trading far below ICO price which is always going to be a good bargain.
