Anyone receive some good prizes from the anniversary wheel? So far I have spun 6 tickets and the highest prize that I got was 1 busd lol

From 17 tickets the highest prize is 1 USDT! I had a bunch of 0.1 XRP and 0.SoManyZeros3 ETH... and a few 1 TRX! Funny thing is that after 1 TRX is a car... that stupid wheel couldn't last a millisecond more!

Well, 4 days more to go... sometimes the luck is just around the corner, we just need to endure a bit longer! Smiley
Well, hopefully, the luck will show up but if it doesn't to be disappointed. It is how the game works, and so best you enjoy the experience any profit is just a nice bonus  Wink with this mindset even if you lose it won't be the end of the world, and this is something more gamblers need to be mindful about

Good luck anyway! And if the luck doesn't find you this time or in this game there's always a next time
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people still using DeFi on Eth? on: September 13, 2021, 09:09:58 PM
What do you think about DeFi on ethereum at the end of 2021? It doesn't seem to you that this is an absolutely bottomless pit living your money on transactions (unless you are a millionaire, of course)
Heard about DeFi on Solana or Near? When will such blockchains completely replace the losing Ethereum Network?
Ethereum network is not a losing network, it has its great benefit of being much more developed and known than any others. Of course, this doesn't mean it is not faulty because of course it is and v2.0 is supposed to help address that.

Unfortunately, though, where demand is high other networks start building faster and smarter like Solana or Polygon and dare I say it BSC so this DeFi craze i already trickling into these networks. It is a slow but sharp call that ETH devs need to speed up otherwise there might be the risk of losing most of their efforts.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs for physical assets - the future of NFTs?? on: September 13, 2021, 07:28:43 PM
Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve been on here. I’ve been lurking on Twitter and honestly I can’t get with the whole NFT thing. What about guys? This feels like the ICO phase back in 2017-2018.

Yeah, it does feel like the ICO phase back then only this time there will be more tangible and closer to real world assets. SO many projects now, everywhere you look are doing NFTs for everything. To be fair, it has its value but I'm not 100% convinced that everything needs to go through the NFT route.

Definitely, a bubble that is going to full expansion and these are but early days.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a Game . on: September 13, 2021, 05:35:39 PM
Trading is not a game some are overconfident regarding trading and some newbies think it's an easy but it's not like that you think it is not easy. Trading needs more knowledge , experience, patience.
In some ways, trading can be regarded as a game! A game where without skills and training you will inevitably lose.

The stakes can be high so it makes sense for those serious to buckle down and learn trading skills where at least they'll have the chance to improve upon if they wish so. Nothing is super easy, and trading is not exception - takes time, dedication, practice, learning and also skill.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: News! VISA considers accepting crypto payments in Brazil on: September 13, 2021, 03:45:42 PM
The market fell in response to the news today that South Korea banned altcoins. The news of OP brought confidence to the panicked people.
Not that big of a news though albeit a positive one, Brazil isn't the biggest crypto spots in the world, that's why I think it's not a good news.

On the contrary, it is  good news because hopefully it acts as the seed for other countries to consider thinking along the same lines.

Quote
It's a welcoming one though, and I don't want to rain on the parade plus this news could spark more countries to start considering crypto in their own countries too.

For sure a welcoming one, and hopefully it gives people the confidence in crypto that it is a store of asset line that is not going to disappear like many people are fearing but an actively expanding one.

After the Walmart news, let's hope that confident people will persevere.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / News! VISA considers accepting crypto payments in Brazil on: September 13, 2021, 12:29:47 PM
In light of the market turmoil, there's some positive news.

Eduardo Abreu, the vice president of Visa’s new business is considering expanding VISA in Brazil to accept crypto, and in particular BTC (among others) payments.

At this stage, this is still an idea and it would take some time to see it implement but at least there are talks in the right direction.

Would this and similar news be enough to trigger an upward/less volatile market? Seems like we all need it, considering how the Alonzo hard fork on Cardano ecosystem had no impact on price upward movement (or maybe not yet)

347  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: September 12, 2021, 08:06:27 PM
I thought this thread is bumped by OP but I was wrong. Where is betnomi? His last online and last post was more than 2 months ago. Is he giving up to promote the casino in this forum due to the tough competition among crypto casinos? I visited the site, it is still working but seems that there is not updated since the predictor contest is still there while it was stopped few months ago. Is there anyone still play in betnomi lately?
Predictor events are something that is quite interesting for players visiting Betnomi including me, yes they are stopping the event, maybe they will restart again with new concept since top league has started and so many interesting matches played.
I don't think that they have given up but may have chosen to promote in other ways, because when I visited Betnomi I saw that they still had tournaments going on.
I agree that crypto casino competition is very tough so it needs a precise marketing strategy.

They need to do something to bring more players to the site. Back in the days with the free predictor contest, there was much more traffic in this topic because of the freeebet that you could (easily) win. I still visit Betnomi from time to time but I am not so active over there also.
You not being active over here like you once used to be is example of how many more people feel, and it is only because they do not incentivise people to visit them anymore.

You can't run a business without taking care of your customers. Perhaps, this is a gone casino which is why no much effort is going into it  Undecided
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wrong to be a long term holder on: September 12, 2021, 05:11:30 PM
It depends on your objectives and are the coins you are holding really good coins?.First, based on your own research to choose the best coins.
Long-term holder is really the best way to be able to make a profit.
No, being a long-term holder is not wrong as long as your objectives are clear and you are in good markets. Take BTC for example, had you bought in a few years back having held to it today would have greatly paid off.

This is of course one example but hopefully you get the idea. Usually long-term holding goes with strong tokens, so find those and you'll be rewarded for HODLing the tokens.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter and Bitcoin on: September 12, 2021, 03:08:57 PM
If this is to be implemented for real, seems like they gonna use a Lightning network and Strike wallet. This is only positive thing for the Lightning network project. Jack is a legend and Elon just pumps shitcoins...
I guess it's all good still because that way, LN would get more exposure. Also, it's good that they're going to integrate Twitter with crypto, they will be able to make a significant bump to the prices.
It is all for publicity and nothing more. If it does anything to the price it will be at the effect of the second objective for BTC becoming more and more popular, getting more news attention which in itself is beneficial for the whole community.

If this is going in effect it should be positive news and hopefully one that can trickle down. Either way, this type of method  sooner or later will be employed by others and so right now it is a matter of time.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's wrong with uniswap? on: September 10, 2021, 08:32:22 PM
It's not only about Uniswap. In general, ETH network is congested, and the new fee algorithm (EIP-1559) is shit.
Agreed. Even with the London upgrade the fees remain disgusting, many projects on Uniswap are not getting the number of people as they used to because BSC network is so so much cheaper by comparison.

Until ETH cracks down decongestion issues which subsequently causes the fees to increase ETH doesn't stand a chance at progressing much further than where it is now. I love ETH but at times using the network is simply impractical.
351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading needs consistent attention and full concentration on: September 10, 2021, 06:26:49 PM
I do agree with OP that you need necessary knowledge, skills and tools to do trading in profit. Those who jump with zero knowledge always end up in loss.
It is through knowledge and skills that anyone can contribute to society in any shape and form. The same principle also applies to trading. While trading might not be for everyone it is at least crucial to learn from early on. This learning curve should cover basics trading skills, planning for entry/exit and how to time it such that it works out for you.

Too often, people jump in not really understanding what to expect and just following the crowd which sometimes works but most of the times doesn't. So stick to your basics, trade, learn some more and find out if trading in the end is for you or not.

Obviously you can't do something without giving it the time and attention it deserves, and trading does take up on both.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Bitcoin hardware wallet to use as a vault for a company? on: September 10, 2021, 04:48:13 PM
I recently invested a large amount of money in Bitcoin, and added Bitcoin as a payment method for my business. I read that online wallets are not the safest, but that hardware wallets are the safest since they are not connected to the internet.

My question is, what is the best hardware wallet for security and for holding large amounts of Bitcoin? I plan on using it as a vault for my company, I would send the BTC from sales every week and hold for as long as possible.
First of all, congrats on getting yourself a nice bag of BTC

Secondly, glad you're thinking about security, and lastly, do look into Ledger they have several nice products that you could use for cold storing your BTC (and other alts if you so wish). I've only used Ledger and didn't let me down. Good luck.
353  Economy / Gambling / Re: Moonbet - Become the Owner of a Crypto Sportsbook & Casino on: September 09, 2021, 09:36:48 PM
Is it listed on exchange now?
it was listed on bitforex exchange earlier and the price quickly rosed at 0.0009 usd but later on it stabilizes at 0.0001xx   .

Thats a good opportunity for you to buy while the price is at the bottom .  you can join the telegram group of moonbet ( https://t.me/moonbetofficial  ) and feel free to ask questions in there because admins are replying faster than here .
The question is why buy moonbet to have it sit in your wallet when you can have other low market cap alts that will give you higher return??? Might as well spread the risk and go for a coin you know is likely to go up (unless of course you truly feel that moonbet is the one you. must get). This is just an opinion.

Though, I must say that the casino does have a unique experience feel to it- quite enjoy that.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of bull run so we sell everything? on: September 09, 2021, 09:04:34 PM
This has been something I have found difficult to decide on . When this bill run ends in a couple of months time should I sell all my VET and XRP then buy back in when the market turns bearish until the next bullrun?
VET and XRP is not what I'd advise to have in your portfolio. No matter what market season we're in. Get yourself some BTC and some other alts but not XRP - that's my opinion anyway.

Also, we're not in a bear season yet. How can we be in one when BTC is 64K+ and alts are popping off everywhere???

355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: September 09, 2021, 05:09:31 PM
It is not clear that when to sell. But it is necessary to buy coin when the price is low and if the price become pump then you should sell that coin even the pumping is low.  The best time of selling is when the price become elevated.
True it may not be clear when to sell but this can be helped when one has a plan.

Sometimes you have to go with your guts but sometimes it works out even better to work out the plan and execute after. It gives you time to work out the numbers and prevents you from acting rash. And sometimes putting unrealistic targets may not help, always waiting for those numbers only they never get reached - it is also stressful.

356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Ukraine to legalize cryptocurrencies > Bill passed 2nd reading on: September 09, 2021, 09:35:08 AM
Yesterday, September 8, 2021, the Ukrainian Parliament voted for the Virtual Assets Bill. What it means is that, holders of such assets will legally exchange and declare them, and enables companies to register as blockchain business.

Here are the main points of change brought by the bill:

 • cryptocurrencies will be legal;
 • market players will be entitled to judicial and other ways of protecting virtual assets rights;
 • entities in Ukraine will be entitled to operate international exchanges where virtual assets are traded. However, for this, they (like other providers of services related to cryptocurrencies) will have to pass state registration in Ukraine and submit reports on their activities to the competent authorities;
 • the Ministry of Digital Transformation will be the regulator of the virtual assets market; in some cases, the National Bank of Ukraine and the National Securities and Stock Market Commission will also have the authority;
 • according to the bill, there will be a new regulator – the National Virtual Assets Regulatory Service (NVARS), which will issue licenses to crypto companies in Ukraine;
 • financial monitoring of the virtual assets market will be going under the recommendations of FATF (Financial Action Task Force).

https://cryptopotato.com/ukraine-passes-decree-to-legalize-cryptocurrencies/

So, it looks like Ukraine is stepping in similar footsteps as El Salvador. Hopefully, the bill gets approved for good, and after that it will be interesting to see which other countries will take a similar pro-crypto legalisation approach.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that NFT is the best investment in the future? on: September 08, 2021, 10:00:35 PM
NFT is a very promising investment in the future, if you see the interest of artists and popular figures starting to think about investment patterns here, it is very likely that NFT in the future is a promising investment, plus athletes are starting to target investment here .
It takes special preparation to be part of NFT's investment, considering the positive potential that will happen is something we are waiting for, with NFT's outreach services for fans of Artists, Athletes and Big Figures, it is very possible for NFT to be part of the investments. NFT.

What do you think???
Of course, NFT is the future of copyright and a huge field for the imagination of new artists.
Yes, NFTs are huge and will continue to get bigger because 1) the ownership and uniqueness capability combined with blockchain technology is key to solving so many issues, especially KYC related issues, and 2) they protect invention and innovation.

In a way, NFTs are the 2nd version of the blockchain but much smaller, and manageable on the personal level.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 7-09-2021 flash sell-off who is responsible? on: September 08, 2021, 06:38:53 PM
Could be the IMF in cahoots with large institutions to short to punish El Salvador.
Was having similar thoughts. Like, we'll show you how making BTC legal tender is not good for you. FUD only.
Could be the El Salvadorians selling when they got their free $30 in bitcoin. Could be whales using the day to fool people & take advantage to dump the market.
As far as the flash sale has been, there's a low chance that the people of El Salvador selling their $30 worth of BTC caused it. It seemed really orchestrated and it leads me to believe that this was one/several whales doing it. As for why they decided to do it (probably to do with El Salvador) other than that your guess is as gd as mine.
359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investors their mind on: September 08, 2021, 03:25:35 PM
It's joyous to make gains in trading. The problem is how does one control his mind when there is a huge lose

Best is to avoid being in that situation, but if you find you're losing it after losses remember this:

1) Don't be greedy - if you are and get rekt next time remember it
2) Have a plan - if you haven't it's on you
3) Don't FOMO
4) Try not to panic react

And, most importantly, always remember the risks, and also the overall performance, don't isolate specific trade look at the bigger picture. If none of the above help, you must revise your methods.

Certainly a very premium experience and I think that you can truly appeal to those higher end players. Maybe as a suggestion, try to add a more clarity when it comes to what is involved with the VIP account manager? E.g. 24/7 personalized support, etc.
Yh, being clear about what everything involves and transparent is super important to get the trust of the community, and everyone appreciates that.

A bullet point summary would be perfect because you can't miss it among the text.
