Hi goldeneye,
Sources are coming, i am polishing the android light client Smiley. Note that this is a DAPP light client, not a LISK light client. Hence the security issue.
1. Yes, for security, so far the passphrase is stored inside the client and then each time a transaction is made, it is sent to the API. This is a known limitation of LISK so far and we are already working to come up with a solution with the LISK team. This is not trivial.
2. Yes, but as a start this is enough.

I'm curious  Smiley

Good job guys Tongue

Good job?

thats passphrasse:

merit lyrics truly catalog material city guilt maximum fun pair bird original
stage glue dolphin symptom enjoy little assume such goat head teach embark
decide exhaust wrap window short duck album road organ creek useless embrace

I like the one with the glue dolphin. lol

i think i like it, i could memorise it fast.

This forum is blowing up.  Cheesy Cheesy

From the comments and questions, it's obvious people are not reading the Lisk website and the information provided. I support Lisk. However, I do not compare it to ETH. Let's keep our heads screwed on tight and take a look at statistics from the past on other coins who did an ICO. It's easy to get emotionally attached to your own investments. The numbers below are translated into BTC and the first number is the amount raised during ICO and the second number is the current Market Cap in BTC. Lastly, you'll see the amount they've increased/decreased. Use history to be your best judge.

Ripple: 72,289 BTC - 676,227 BTC Market Cap- 835% increase
Ethereum: 31,531 BTC - 2,462,284 BTC Market Cap - 7709% increase
Maidsafe: 12,200 BTC - 104,696 BTC Market Cap - 758% increase
Stellar: 7,228 BTC - 27,803 BTC Market Cap - 284% increase
Bitshares: 6829 BTC - 38,981 BTC Market Cap - 470% increase
Factom: 2287 BTC - 43,194 BTC Market Cap - 1788% increase

well, but they pay probably 10k$ for a new logo design.

not sure, if yours is better *duckandhide*

Just saying a half decent logo isn't rocket science, or $10,000.

lol they should give you the $10k

These days all your local kids and girls know how to photoshop.

Paying 10k for a logo would be the most ridicolous thing.

Hold a contest for a logo and pay 20 Dollars in LISK and youll get a hundred designs easily.

let the community then choose a winner and you're settled.

It's funny how everybody think they're designers Smiley Lisk already has a logo, forget about it. What it needs is development and marketing.

Totally agree.  I really like your logo.  However, the only reason it works is that the viewer already has a mental image of the "old" logo.   If Lisk were to switch over to this, viewers who had never seen it before would have no idea what it is.

Lisk is a shortening on "obelisk" and I think that is the starting point for a graphic redesign of the logo, not a crystal Flint Age arrowhead sitting on a rock.

You have great talent.  I would love to see you generate other ideas along what I said above.  Maybe a blockchain coming out of an obelisk?  In this spirit:

https://www.google.com/search?q=statue+man+carving+himself&num=100&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiMofyMzcfLAhXI6CYKHT0GCK4Q_AUIBygB&biw=1920&bih=1122

I have always liked the "man sculpting himself" motif.  And obelisks were originally about displaying information in prehistoric times.  Progressing from obelisks to blockchains for information transfer to people is a very profound idea.

develop the product, ship the product. market something (logo et.c.) when it's out there.
