1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At what cost do you think bitcoin will maximize? on: July 24, 2018, 10:22:02 AM
Bitcoins price potential is unlimited but in the short term I think 10000 dollars is a good price wall considering its been buried deep for a long time and the slow recovery going on will have to dip a little before it settles, but if it can get back up to $10k then we might speculate about seeing $20k before the end of the year.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a good investment? on: July 24, 2018, 08:31:08 AM
Is Ethereum a good investment?

If you are a low risk taker Ethereum can be categorised as a good investment and its proven this over time but if you looking for optimum profits the ico market should be a good start but due diligence is advised!
3  Economy / Economics / Re: So many cryptocurrencies ! on: July 24, 2018, 08:17:59 AM
There are 1624 currently active cryptocurrencies and more than 100 cryptocurrencies exchanges working right now in 2018.
With so many cryptocurrencies in the market Without regulations I feel there should be some body to legalize only a few , since its not like the more the merrier!
It just increases risks of any Fraud.
1000+ cryptos is way to much and imo its starting to look like some trail and error venture for enthusiastic developers out there and all this is as a result of a free market(decentralisation) but a crypto body to overlook these projects wouldn't be a bad idea as it will reduce ICO scams, reduce the number of shitcoins and bring sanity to this ecosystem, the idea is welcome😀

Small companies often are at a risk of shutting down with so tough competition.
In the beginning small companies had it easy but like you said too many cryptos are popping up everyday and if companies with the finances join this ecosystem these small startups are shut down almost instantly as the current competition is swinging towards influencial companies.

4  Economy / Economics / Re: Politicians fear cryptocurrency because it will stop corruption. on: July 23, 2018, 02:24:53 PM
Its a good observation but I think not all politicians are afraid of this technology, maybe the corrupt ones are most affected by cryptocurrencies as they are very transaparent and is a characteristic which most of these corrupt leaders lack!
But unfortunately this technology is growing day by day making it unstoppable.

6  Economy / Economics / Re: Is America a failed nation? on: July 23, 2018, 09:13:09 AM

USA largest debtor nation in history of human species
Obamacare ruined everything
Federeal reserve
0% rates
Eventual economic collapse or hyperinflation

Largest military ever not going down without a fight
NSA is spying on everyone

What do you guys think?

This is for the citizens of America to answer but IMO I don't think it s a failed nation with all the above speculations and seeing you have brought this without proof to backup whats written this sounds bias to be honest.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Does money make you rich? on: July 21, 2018, 08:31:52 AM
Yes money makes you rich only if you know how to manage it by saving or investing it and not spending it on consumption say going clothes shopping, vacation and all the things that don't help grow your bank account. In a nutshell money does make you rich but you need to have the brains to manage it well!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest into Bitcoin or bank on: July 20, 2018, 01:39:23 PM
I have worked to get $2000 worth of money and I am planning of investing in bitcoin but my uncle is pressuring me to save the money at bank. I have done everything to convince him but he is not comprehending to my point. Please what do i tell him again to convince him?
Sounds like you living with your uncle and making this investment requires your uncles involvement as he is the only one able to bail you out of a loss should you lose your money, if that's the only money on you at the moment invest half then keep the rest at the bank atleast this way you don't to lose everything and your uncle won't be mad at you.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: US Congressman gets paid to trash Bitcoin on: July 20, 2018, 10:22:35 AM
Am pretty much sure there other companies affected by cryptocurrencies that are giving out handouts to him like Allied did and seeing this company does have a bad patch to its name the Congressman can return the donations received to save his ego and maybe save his political image, otherwise crypto is not stopping for anyone.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too late to invest in bitcoin? Is it a bubble? on: July 19, 2018, 06:56:54 PM
The old trick of crypto investments has always been buy when price is low and sell some when the price is high...and it has always worked and this way you don't get to make losses because of dumpers that follow this strategy and are profiting from this. But In reality we wait for the pendulum to swing our then get to react.... sorry I have news for you this will leave you in the red  Tongue
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has really come back? on: July 19, 2018, 01:06:30 PM
Bitcoin prices have rebounded to over $ 7400 today with large volume trading. Normally, bitcoin prices will increase sharply at the end of the year and this year will be no exception, a lot of good news has been released and the movement of the market is very positive. If nothing changes I believe the bitcoin price at the end of this year will continue to peak as many people expect.
Afaik what will contribute positively towards the price is demand and with more ICOs and fintech projects getting on board everyday, bitcoin gets free advertisement from all this which progresively gets people looking up this crypto innovation and in no time there is certainly going to be good results from all this.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ? on: July 18, 2018, 11:49:17 PM
WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ?
Come on it does happen like that, and with bitcoin having over 40% in market share its practically imposed unless a centralized coin joins the race and we all choose to back it up, eth might over take btc in this circumstance as investors seem to be more comfortable with a centralized system.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: July 18, 2018, 10:55:07 PM
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

I like to think of bitcoin as the best currency for large sums of money as the fees incurred here are way below what fiat service providers would charge, but the problem with most of us is we choose to use bitcoin for micropayments which we require almost instantly as we want it to compete with the likes of mastercard or Visa but right now its not yet there but with LN it might stand a chance and be used as a currency by everyone once more.
14  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I WAS TRY TO FIND ONLY ONE CRYPTOCOIN EXCHANGER NOT SCAM!!! on: July 18, 2018, 10:30:35 PM
Bob has pretty much given you a list of good exchanges you could use without worrying of being scammed👆and if you need other choices in case you need a fast trade you can use shapeshift or changelly as they fall under this category, just be cautious of trades that involve fiat as these attract a lot of scammers especially on p2p platforms.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite way to cash out? on: July 18, 2018, 09:34:18 PM
Usually when am cashing out small amounts I prefer a local trader and for larger amounts which can not be processed through my local connections I use a bank account.

And with signs of bitcoin debit been alive once again I plan on getting myself one for easy cashouts.
16  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Would you do KYC for a bounty hunt? on: July 18, 2018, 09:10:48 PM
With things like identity theft, data leaks and all the unimaginable things that can happen to your data, I don't think this know your Custormer has to be extended to bounting hunting as they simply fall out of the category of being a companies custormers, they can simply be described as an extention of your marketing team which should be reason not to do KYC unless they are ready to take full responsibility should a data breach happen, I can do kyc on this one condition Tongue
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin? ✅ on: July 18, 2018, 08:12:43 PM

This piece of information is well written...enjoyed reading it, and from this its evident that our bitcoins are safe depending on how well we protect ourselves from hackers and the most common mistake we usually make is using same passwords to access or register for a service and by doing so this makes it easy for a phishing site to get access to our coins if we hold them on an exchange or something similar
18  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: - Scam. Illegally holding of 100 BCH (11 bitcoins). on: July 18, 2018, 07:31:56 PM
As potatoe chips said already, using their site your accepted their terms and conditions and for a huge amount of coins like that they certainly have to go through a manual transfer which attracts other checks as KYC....tbh not even a big exchange like binance will process this without KYC or verification but your best shot at getting back your coins is passing kyc otherwise if you can find where they are located take legal action.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite source of information about cryptocurrency news ? on: July 18, 2018, 06:13:34 PM
Cryptocurrencies now have the world recognition badge so you will always find crypto news everywhere but my favourite source is through yandex-zen which always brings me all latest crypto news on my browser home screen which is convinent for me.
Other sources are through cointelegraph telegram handle which is good too.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins? on: July 18, 2018, 04:34:58 PM
Looking at the decentralized nature of crypto-currencies,Wonder if govt bans Bitcoins in future??Is it possible let's say by blocking all sites which relate to Bitcoin wallets/payments etc over the internet.
Its possible to do this on a national level but bitcoin having grown some roots I think its too late for this even the managed to blacklist some bitcoin sites people will always find ways to bypass the site blocking as this isn't all about games and fun, its a lifestyle to many!

In that case what would happen to our existing coins held in those wallets??[/b]
Funds will remain there safe and sound unless someone other than you has access to the private keys you will not find your crypto coins.
