821  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can buy some altcoin?? on: January 18, 2018, 10:02:32 PM
Hi I am new user in bitcointalk.org and I want to buy some altcoin. I have no experience about trading. Please share your experience.
Go easy with these cryptos Barman!
Buying your coins is one thing and learning to trade is another, lets take this step by step... buy your coins using a peer2 peer exchange like localbitcoins, where you could find someone from your country for a face to face trade which has slim chances of getting you scammed, once you passed this now invest some time to learn how to trade, good luck.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is $BCC still a top 100 coin? on: January 18, 2018, 04:24:37 PM
BCC sits at around 40$ right now and is on place 83 on coinmarketcap. How come there is still demand for the coin? Isn't it literally useless now?
Its being pumped hard just look at the charts...
Am thinking people have mistaken it for bitcoin cash which sounds more closer to the ticker symbol of BCC or investors are simply unaware of whats happening with the BCC project, lets waiting what happens in the next few days

823  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Bloodbath.. on: January 18, 2018, 08:46:56 AM
The crypto market are currently all in red. It seems that there is a bloodbath. How long do you think will it take and what do you think is the reason behind it? Is it just a massive price correction or is it the end for the crypto world? Just want to know your opinion about it.
The crypto market is now 90% in the green which is a good sign that crypto users have regained their confidence after a scare of a possible crash which was driven by regulation fears in the Asian market but i dont think it has recovered fully hoping we can go over 15000 before the end of the month
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: January 18, 2018, 07:56:33 AM
Without the internet bitcoin use is rendered useless as there will be no way to communicate with other computers but be rest assured that your bitcoins will intact and undamaged.

And other crypto services will all come to a standstill until the internet is back.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now in the CRASH?! on: January 17, 2018, 10:25:05 PM
if you are still cashing out(panic selling) take time to look at the price charts because cryptos are moving from the red zone and back to the greens! Hope people did not buy this as a crash because am thinking this was an artificial dip which has benefited the whales, lets have faith in this tech its here to stay.
826  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin versus other offline currencies on: January 17, 2018, 07:51:54 PM
As a NEWBIE, how would you explain bitcoin as against other offline currencies?
-Bitcoin is decentralised while offline currencies have regulations on how to use them thanks to the centralized system.
-Bitcoin is convenient digital currency that you do not always need the store to be actually open as everything can be done online or instore unlike offline currencies which are limited by working hours.

Which one has more market value and why do you think so ?
Ofcourse its bitcoin does not need any proof the whole world knows this..
827  Economy / Speculation / Re: opinions on downward trend on: January 17, 2018, 02:49:12 PM
Buy in is my opinion and suggestion to other users, this is what i did few hours ago, now i am seeing some of altcoin and bitcoin was already increasing its value and i am happy with the result of my decision.

This moment is not late to invest, buy bitcoin now until the value are not yet reaching 12000 dollars.

If you had waited a little longer you would be able to buy bitcoin at 7-8K. The downtrend is not yet finished we can see that bitcoin is still going down in the market.
its not the first time neither will it be the last, we just have to brace our selves in this bad time of cryptos that is showing all are in a blood bath.
time will come for recovery no need to panic

828  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happened to bitcoins after one died? on: January 17, 2018, 02:25:21 PM
If there is a list of people that own the most bitcoins, in the future the is a possibility one might find themselves here as bitcoins would be shared among people around the world
Who owns the bitcoin after someone died?  How to state this in the will? Please share your thoughts.

Most important is the key of the bitcoin wallet. You can write the key of the wallet in the will.
correctly said if no will was left expect coins to remain intact if they are stored in a private wallet but if it happens to be a third party wallet with gives you no access to the private key, you have a chance of getting the bitcoins maybe via a court order or something but using a pvt key is the easiest way around this.
829  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC scam! on: January 17, 2018, 07:34:23 AM
Okay so here is my case. I had a recent Ether withdrawal from HitBTC. We all know the excellent swiftness of the ETHER network that any transaction with a good amount of gas will be confirmed within a minute at max. Even every exchange process eth withdrawals quite quickly. But here is Hitbtc. It has much more withdrawal fees than normal exchanges. A fees of 0.01 ETH while its just 0.002 on exchanges like Mercatox. But the main problem is that I processed a withdrawal yesterday and it took more than 24 hours for that withdrawal to get on the ethereum blockchain it was because they didn't even sent the transaction to network for more than 24 hours kept it to themselves.
Not trying to defend them but I know for a fact that both ethereum and bitcoin networks have been clogged for some time and just yesterday even the swift network of eth i had to wait for over an hour to get my eth transaction through which had a decent fee attached to it.

HitBTC needs to own up and convince us that they have the experience to deliver better services to the crypto users and some of their fees are ridiculously expensive i wonder how they compute these numbers they need to readjust them to be more fair and competitive on the market
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blood bath! Bubble burst? on: January 16, 2018, 10:42:45 PM
Everything is red, is it bubble burst? What should we do?. Sell or hodl?
its bound to recover , you can ask any experienced trader who will tell you that while others are panic selling the experienced users who are long sighted will buy because they not only looking at the current situation but the great opportunity tomorrow holds...buy while cheap we know the cause of the dip...we just need a stable market to reemerge
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A ban on trade in China on: January 16, 2018, 09:37:19 PM
Am starting to think the world is fine with cryptos but the issue here is how easy it is to use crypto services under a pseudonymous name which is what has sparked the regulation battles.

While china and other countries are trying to drag cryptos to their death, Japan’s Largest Bank is set to Launch a Cryptocurrency Exchange, source https://news.bitcoin.com/japans-largest-bank-to-launch-cryptocurrency-exchange/.
832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: January 16, 2018, 09:20:01 PM
No crypto will be dying but We just have to come to terms with the authorities in charge of these regulations because its the only way to use cryptocurrencies freely without being in dispute with the law and already we have seen some exchanges, banks and card issuers are all been affected by these regulations which is also limiting the adoption process.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC down, Market dump. Is this time to buy? on: January 16, 2018, 12:35:45 PM
From the news i read there are talks that a trading ban in South Korea and China might be underway and possibly a crackdown on trading and mining too, just hope this can be resolved for markets to recover

834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer My Entire Savings to Cryptocurrencies? on: January 15, 2018, 08:55:00 PM
others have gone to the extreme of selling their houses and everything in it so this isnt really new but you need to get your timing right to avoid holding your coins for too long to recover your invested funds but transferring your entire savings am not in support of this, try go with 70% of your savings or invest in different crypto projects, not one.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and ETH are Shitcoins on: January 15, 2018, 06:02:21 PM
Am finding this impossible to believe because how did the two cryptocurrencies find themselves at the top of all other coins you see not to be shitcoins Roll Eyes and the community might not agree with this just as the value speaks for its self...

I dont know why you said this about eth and btc...maby you locking for a perfect coin without any negative think but this is impossible
a perfect coin won't exist without some weakness because it is these same weaknesses that make anything to be almost perfect
836  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin price so high? on: January 15, 2018, 09:38:07 AM
Bitcoin price has stratospherically risen leaving minor players with massive gains and bigger players millionaires. Is this a bubble? Are the gains real?
To be honest bitcoin having the biggest and most active crypto community and most investors supporting it i think we have not yet seen its full potential, and AFAIK price is not yet high enough looking at how much demand for bitcoin that exists and ofcourse the gains are very much real.
837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance CEO Claims a Quarter of a Million New Users in One Hour on: January 14, 2018, 06:56:27 AM
Binance is a top quality exchange which very understandable for this large number of people all wanting to use their services. Hope other competing exchanges start to provide premium services to compete with their services
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will prices go up again? on: January 13, 2018, 11:33:12 PM
Prices of most cryptocurrencies have not yet recovered after the festive season but hopefully when people are ready to reinvest their fiat which they get from their day to day jobs the their should be be some positive movement in terms of the price
839  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see Bitcoin fall in 2018? on: January 13, 2018, 10:59:33 PM
When you talk of falling prices we probably talking of a corrections which is very normal with cryptocurrencies and this is not something new in the crypto world and 2018 isn’t any different
840  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-13] US Government Fears Bitcoin Will Be the Next “Swiss Bank Account” on: January 13, 2018, 10:41:48 PM
Maybe the US government is right on this one and bitcoin could actually even be better than these swiss accounts as there is no central power that’s in control of these accounts that could close these accounts by some court order.... probably the reason why bitcoin is so popular today.
