On Yobit there is a new game with fantasy ponys. It's a race fueled by the entropy of several external random events that are "provably fair" checkable. The figures of these events are concatened to compute a md5 hash and then the figures of this hash are added together to get the "speed" of the pony. Smart isn'it?

Quote
YOPONY
Play and win at the Yobit Pony races! Make bets - take prizes! Win 2-100x from your initial bet!
Calculations of pony speeds depend on EN chat messages, bets, sum of all bets, microtime, pony number, md5 hash of previous pony.
https://yobit.io/en/yopony/

Definitely looks like an interesting game.

However, reports that people don't even know which Pony is theirs is concerning since that essentially neutralizes the provable fairness of the game.

What's the house edge on this?

Bethash's increasing reward mechanism has so far shared more than $ 300,000 dividend awards!

Now come to Bethash and multiply your money easily with the most profitable casino!

Incredible, BetHash given away more in dividends in less than a year of operation, than many casinos have given away in several years!

I've currently got around 50k HPOINT staked that I won from playing Dice a while back, bringing in great dividends.

Well done to the BetHash team!
383  Other / Meta / Re: Weekly earned merits (median) of top 100 merited users on: September 29, 2019, 04:43:08 PM
I would love to see what proportion of this merit was given out for discussing merit or participating in threads regarding other people's merit.

So far it seems like a good chunk of the merit is distributed to people providing analytics about merit, which doesn't sit right with me for some reason.

No doubt in that! The addiction gambling provides is incomparable. But there is a difference between thrill and fun.
Casino Gambling provides the feeling of thrill rather than fun. You can't say I am feeling bored, let's roll the dice or play slots. There is more of monetary motives involved in gambling than leisure motives. Well, these are my personal thoughts about standard games like dice, slots, roulette. If any casino have some exciting games, I would love to try them too.

I guess I am the exception then, I really don't play these games looking to make money. I know that the odds are against me, after all there's the house edge, but I do get a sense of enjoyment from the anticipation... I guess I just enjoy the 'thrill of the chase', so to speak.

When I actually want to make money I'll bet on sports, since it's possible to beat the odds and essentially nullify the house edge with those.

That - in my humble opinion - is (at least) quite offensive against 2 of the most reputed members of this forum and the answer you gave above has nothing to do with it.

Not everybody is well-versed on the whose who of Bitcointalk. If you don't frequent this forum regularly, then you would probably have no idea who those two are. You can't expect the casino owner to have any clue how trusted people are on a forum he never uses.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Spence Jr vs Porter on: September 28, 2019, 03:57:28 PM

As usual i will go for the underdog Porter in this fight, who knows upset may happen  Smiley.

Betting on underdogs is commonplace for you? Upsets are quite rare in the sport of boxing, you must have lost a lot of money. Well, unless you bet on Ruiz to beat AJ recently  Grin
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Online Casino has the Most Fun Games? Recommendations? on: September 28, 2019, 03:52:49 PM

You summed that perfectly. Gambling is matter a of chance not skill. But to make something enjoyable, it has to include skill part. You can't just stake money on dice or play card game for fun alone. There is actually no fun element when seeing oneself losing against the house.
Sports Betting is more appropriate option in this circumstances. It involves set of skills and not completely wagering event. I would say it is 40-60 for skill-chance. There are sites out there where one can create his/her own team and compete against other real human win real money the same time. Much more fun, isn't it!

Even games with no skill element can be fun, people enjoy the anticipation.

Though I invested to Bethash competitor, I'm also interested to that Banker's Bull, it only asks 10K TRX to be part of it. I have tried several times their Blackjack 21 but it find it not fair unlike their dice. There isn't a lot of games in Bethash. How much have we earn in banker's bull with 10k TRX?

I haven't invested in Banker's Bull yet, I am still saving up to reach the minimum investment threshold. For now, I just enjoy the game.

Bethash's dividend awards continue to grow.

By stashing your HASH tokens, you get passive income even while you are asleep.

92% of the circulating HASH tokens are already staked, so join and don't miss this deal!

Website: https://bethash.io/?link=btt
Telegram: https://t.me/BetHash

I've got most of my HASH staked, earning a pretty nice dividend on the 100k HASH I have staked.

Wonder what the remaining 8% of circulating HASH is doing, I guess they don't realize they're missing out on their divs!
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Believe That It's A Fix on: September 27, 2019, 03:57:47 PM
I would be highly doubtful that this random person in the audience actually knows that the match is a fix, and if he had such damning information, why would he tell me?

Fixing in sports is highly illegal, people don't just go spouting off this information willy nilly. That's a good way to end up in jail.

First time doubting this game platform, it doesn't make sense that this game is more interesting, compared to war games
but my assumption is wrong by looking at the performance and development of this project.

Too prejudiced with a new game that is not very entertaining or that isn't very interesting to many people, you should research it more closely because they have an opportunity to progress.

Yep, some people don't understand that other people have different opinions on what they consider to be a fun game.

Personally, I prefer games that are a bit more involved than Dice, that's why I play Banker Bull... The bankroll function makes it double fun.

391  Economy / Gambling / Re: FortuneJack has a problem in Dice game on: September 26, 2019, 02:54:37 PM
Edit 5: Final update

The issue was recognized by the Fortunejack yesterday. Today around 11:45 UTC a new update was pushed
Hence the off-by-one error resolved.
Screenshot of the confirmation: https://imgur.com/a/mgH5Pzo
I checked the roll numbers and everything looks perfect.

Some high volume players could have been seriously adversely affected by this.

Has Fortunejack mentioned how they plan to reimburse anybody that has had their money stolen in this way?
392  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best esport betting siteS? on: September 26, 2019, 02:50:28 PM
We listed every trusted sportsbook at https://blockz.network

Feel free to use our list wich is updated daily

Surprisingly great looking website. I was expected it to look like trash and then flame you for it.

Is there any reason why BetHash hasn't been added to the list? Or any other EOS-based casino for that matter?
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Online Casino has the Most Fun Games? Recommendations? on: September 26, 2019, 02:44:50 PM
I am sorry to at that nothing can be more fun in gambling than the money involved, I believe as a matter of fact that a lot of us are gambling for this reason. If it's just for fun alone, there are a lot of happy places around me I would go get fun without even paying as entrance fee so when we choose gambling it's definitely for the money.

I might have a contrary opinion to the Op and many others on the forum but if I would like to advice everyone that in looking for a site with fun, you should consider the profit ration, how reputable and provably fair it is and I believe this should be the basis for a good entertaining site lol. I can recommend Nicest anyway. I think they are fair in a way.
Exactly this. I am really not bothered whether I win or lose. I only wager with relatively small amounts, e.g. $1-$10. So regardless whether I win or lose I am not going to suffer based on the result.

I like playing games that are genuinely FUN, which is surprisingly uncommon in the world of crypto gambling. Simple, lightweight games that can provide hours of fun? Count me in. Sure I might lose a few bucks here and there, but that's no different from playing a pay to win game, or even buying a new game for the PC etc.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Online Casino has the Most Fun Games? Recommendations? on: September 25, 2019, 03:27:04 PM
Every online casino offers a game which is distinct and determining which of them depends on what kind of game you wanted to play. Or course as a gambler, it's kinda boring to play one game or one gambling site over and over again; you should explore some game somtimes so that you'll be explore which game really suits to you and which one is the most enjoyable to play with.

Well, I've played certain MMORPG's and even more simpler games for more hours than I would like to admit, so it's definitely more than possible to spend a while playing casino games without getting bored.

However, I need something much more complex and involved than just dice for something like that.

What I said was they were preparing for it,some unique game which is never available on any casino yet.Everyone interested to see what the game would be.

Which games are they preparing it for?

Would you mind linking to the page with further information, hopefully they're not disappointing.
395  Other / Meta / Re: Board for Satoshi identity threads? on: September 25, 2019, 03:21:15 PM
We already have a board that would fit these threads just perfectly! It's called Archival.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=59.0

These threads should be in the trash where they belong. Extensive time and effort has been dedicated by intelligence agencies, forensics and big data groups, independent reporters etc, and nobody has gotten past naming the few usual suspects, e.g. Dorian Nakamoto, Craig Wright etc.

Only spammers pay these threads any attention.

You can try mintdice game where I found rocket.io is something new and I am still practicing it to understand how it works.

And also admin mentioned that they are developing unique games which are never available at any casinos so stay with the site for get updates regarding that.
Mintdice is one of the legit site right now, Im really exciting about the new games that I did not see in any gambling sites because mostly the games is same or common so better to have a new games or unique which is really for sure theplayers like to see and to play with their new to their eyes.
What on earth are we talking about here?
A unique game that isn't available in any casinos?
Sounds interesting but i doubt what kind of game is this that would be more interesting than the other usual casino. Cheesy
Do you guys just like to talk about Mintdice despite of these all other reputable casinos?

Mintdice has the same games that are found pretty much everywhere, even rocket is now becoming quite commonplace.

I want to see some real originality, something genuinely addictive, not just for the gambling element, buy from a fun perspective.
397  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betmatch.io on: September 24, 2019, 11:16:51 PM
The design is suspiciously similar to sportsbet.io

Maybe they are owned by the same team, or one simply closed the others template

Or perhaps they both used off the shelf templates to build their platform.

not just the design but if you will read thier site name they also have that ".io" as thier end domain name  but im not saying that its suspecious because of that  . theres actually lots of gambling sites that have a " .io" domain  as well as simillar designs .

some are owned by the same owner and some are only using a simillar software  or template  but they arent related to each other   ,  its not new but this does not also mean that they are shady  . still need to do your own research and gamble only what you can afford  .

Well if they did indeed steal the template of Sportsbet.io, then I wouldn't risk any money playing on this platform.

Hopefully somebody takes the time to do some thorough research to see just how these two sites are linked.

What do you mean compared to war games? I hope you're not comparing a casino to something like Call of Duty  Grin

BetHash is fun because the games are so quick and simple to play that they can be enjoyed anywhere.

I tend to play Banker Bull on my phone in my spare time, perfect for those of us who are always busy!
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] KSI vs Logan Paul 2 on: September 24, 2019, 04:39:14 PM
Well Logan gassed within like 2 rounds last time, then almost got blown out in the final round—he was literally hanging by a thread.

If neither of them had headgear on in the first fight, then Logan would have gotten blitzed.
Logan still swinging a lot of punches in the 5th round mate, but yeah, he was dusted in the final round. However, if I were one of the judges, I'd give more points to Logan:
- He had a more physical presence, landing more heavy punches than KSI
- KSI received more warnings from the referee (for illegal low-ducking)

The difference in reach should be placed in the equation as well; for example, Campbell still able to give Lomachenko a little bit problem, even though heavily outclassed.

Anyway, they are both a buffoon, so this fight shouldn't be taken too seriously.

Well the first fight wasn't that bad. Logan Paul has experience as a fighter and knows how to train, stay dedicated etc. KSI, however, played FIFA on Youtube for years, and pretty much only started working out to prepare for the Joe Weller fight back in 2016?

In their first fight, Logan Paul simply lacked stamina. Technically he was far superior. So with only a single thing to improve (stamina) he should definitely be able to beat KSI next time. To catch up to Logan Paul, KSI would need to improve his technique, which definitely isn't as simple.

No headgear = TKO at the very least.
