SYSCOIN has the potential to skyrocket... like a jet arrow, hard D right past our solar system.
(..or it could crash and burn like thousands of other projects but probably not) (not financial advice)

I work every day... And I have people bitching to me about things knocking at my door and talking to me through it. That's not a conversation asshole that's harrasment. Like bitch let me relax for a sec. I put on loud music because I don't like people listening in to my comings and goings and If I'm taking a shit or a shower.
Why do some people have such a lack of understanding of others? I don't fucking get it. We're all just trying to live our lives over here. I swear to fuck I'm gonna move to a fucking cabin in the woods. Some people need to get a life and get off my case.

Thank you mate , I will take that advise completely because I kept thinking of not finding new one so not having a guts leaving my recent job,but yes maybe that is the reason why I am not moving forward so will talk to my wife about this tonight for finding good decisioning .
I didn't quit my previous job yet. I limited the time to my off days and eventually will give notice. I'll do both for a few months. I was inspired by watching Caleb Hammer on YouTube he sits down and does a financial audit on random people from the US. My biggest problem was low income and I couldn't advance at my job fast enough. Seeing guest after guest discuss their finances made me realize there was a lot I wasn't doing right. From not putting out enough applications, to my spending habits. Even just not working enough. Seeing other people's excuses was eye opening and it helped me see my own blind spots. You can find his videos here https://www.youtube.com/@CalebHammerOther than that my advice would be to keep looking for better things it can be a long process. I don't know where you live, I assume it's outside of the us because of the way you phrased "for finding good decisioning" which isn't how someone fluent in english would phrase it. I may have phrased it this way. "...talk to my wife tonight to find a good decision." Having the guts to go to interviews for better things even if you don't feel fully qualified, or to try to advance at your current job is what I meant. Not walking away from a source of income before you find a replacement for it. I wish you the best of luck

Let me be the first to congratulate you mate for this wonderful news, I thought that you did not get the position because it took you some time before updating the thread . and indeed that you are very lucky finding a Job that i believe you will be loving for long time , hope that Like you I will find one in the future as I am really pissed in this job and wanted to find a better one.
Thank You! I hope you find something good too. What helped me was going out of my comfort zone and aiming higher. And I don't have a degree so I feel really good about getting in. The reason I didn't update for so long is because the process is really long to get in!

Update:
I got the job and It's a lot better than my last one! I'm going to have to learn a lot but my coworkers are great and they're very willing to show me the ropes.
Finding a good job took a long time, and I had to be willing to drive far but I got really lucky with this one. After a few months I'll have a regular schedule with 5 consecutive 8 hour days, overtime if I sign up for it but generally no need to stay past quitting time or come in early.
Coming from a very long time in a job with random scheduling and my days off not being consecutive this is huge for me. And the pay is decent too!

We will only get the money tomorrow, why should we think about the taxes now, tomorrow we will just think about how the money will be used and most importantly we wait for tomorrow to come. But since you're talking about taxes, is there a way to avoid them? 35% is big guys, let's talk about the odds ... Well, if the person that gave you the 50,000 didn't put it in your bank account and gave you cash, or crypto in an address that isn't somehow linked to you you could try to avoid taxes. If it's crypto and it made sense you could go to a country that crypto gains aren't taxed and renounce any citizenship that requires you to pay taxes on crypto if that makes sense for you and end up paying 0 tax legally.

Enough were I'm not forced to work against my will.
Between 2-5 million USD would be enough if invested for financial security in perpetuity.
Past that it's pretty meaningless.

Set aside money for taxes, no-one mentioned that yet.
After I set aside 35% for taxes, I would first max out my roth IRA
Taxes 17500 Roth IRA 6000 Fix my fucked up car 5000 Home repairs 10000
Keep the remainder as an emergency fund.
Continue life as normal
How did no one else mention setting aside money for taxes?

Central air AC, run it 24/7 as much as the thermostat says it has to run. Thermostat compensates uses temperature and humidity, I keep it around 72 Fahrenheit to save on electricity. Total electric bill 100-150 USD. Average size apartment kind of thing, old standard wood frame construction, could have better insulation.
My central AC is pretty efficient, my insulation is pretty bad though.
Didn't have the money for a newer AC but had to get it anyway when the old one broke because the old refrigerant became illegal and the same thing will happen in a few years again and then the old refrigerant will run out. The new more efficient unit's air handler (indoor part) is ridiculously big.

4 hours left in which to sleep.
You will not be able to sleep if you are anxious and you keep looking at the clock. Your body can compensate with a loss of one night's sleep. In my IT career I did a lot of emergency 24+ hour jobs. Here is what you can do: One hour before the interview, drink a cup of coffee, maybe 90 mins if you put sugar in the coffee. Although you may be tempted to give yourself a boost right before the interview, the sugar and caffeine will make you jittery and nervous. Trust me - once the interview starts, the slight bit of nervous adrenaline will follow you through. Joke with them that you were nervous and didn't sleep. Good luck! Thanks for the advice but I ended up skipping breakfast and didn't have time for coffee. I ended up wearing a tie for the first time in my life, it was the last thing I had time for before heading out. Coffee would really have helped.

12 hours has passed and what happened with the interview? If you're able to get it, congratulations but if not, that's fine.
As you've said, you can still try again in the future and what matters now is that you'll be able to get one soon and don't forget to get some enough rest and sleep.
Whether with job interview or none, we should be getting enough sleep as this is the best me time that we can ever have.
Just came back from my job. I passed the interview, now I have to wait a couple of weeks to see if I got the job. It's a government job maintaining machinery, fixing stuff

Thanks!
I doubt I'll get enough sleep, getting this job would be life changing as I'd be making enough money, for the first time in my life. All from a single source of income.
I was planning on getting a full 7 hours of sleep but that flew out the window. Even if I don't get this I can get it in the future, and there's other jobs. If not for sleep I'll at least get rest.
I had an interview a few weeks back and I ended up only sleeping about 2 hours the night before. The interview went well but I didn't get the job. Might have been a blessing in disguise because the drive was extra super long.
If I don't get this job, I might be able to get one that pays less but still enough. I really want a job that's more stable and that allows me to save enough for retirement.
4 hours left in which to sleep.

They could use bitcoin to secure a provable election but right now the fees would be too high, they could use the underlying technology through Syscoin which is secured by bitcoin's hashrate and has low fees.
Elections have bigger problems that need to be solved first. But provably fair elections would be great.

Why would you need to leave btc for altcoins?
You can do more than one thing at a time. Just know that there is a much higher chance that an altcoin goes to 0, while that's not likely to happen with Bitcoin, especially now that it is getting intertwined with the traditional system of finance and investments.

It was only a matter of time. This is a good decision both morally and strategically. Unfortunately this is no longer the place to host mixers.
It's really the only path forward for the forum. I'm always in awe of how well run this place is and how much work has been put in it, it'd be a shame to throw it all away.

Depression can come from a chemical imbalance in the brain, while that is an oversimplification and someone could be suffering from shit life syndrome, which would be self-explanatory, life isn't as simple as you have these conditions the person is not depressed.
The terrifying truth of it is, your brain sometimes turns against you making a difficult situation ever more difficult. Why do people get depressed is not at all an easy question.
It would also be a very difficult thing to study. For example you could find a correlation between drinking heavily and depression, but how would you ever know if depressed people are more likely to pick up the bottle, or if alcoholism leads to depression?
As for the person that slumped and died in the street, without any more context who knows? He could be a generally happy person that died all of a sudden.

I would definitely invest a big chunk into Syscoin, it fits perfectly with Bitcoin and even supports it through merge mining.
All the security of Bitcoin, All the capabilities of Ethereum, Very scalable!
