801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pros and cons of Wallet.dat and Priv Keys on: August 28, 2017, 12:40:06 PM
What is everyone's preferred  method of backing up your wallet and why?

I'm very cautious person about storing my private keys. I will generate at least five to six copies of my public ID and private keys. Then I will store them securely with my email address, I will take a printout and I will also send it to my all devices in the locked notes etc, this is very critical job and loosing private keys is like loosing all your assets. That's very important.
802  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dare to dream BIG ! What's your DREAMS ? on: August 28, 2017, 12:20:06 PM
Felt good reading your post dude. It's amazing how bitcoin is changing the lives of people and their lifestyle too. Things which were expensive in our lives before we met bitcoin are now finger tip away and easy to buy. This is very good dream and very big one too. You need big investments to be done and keep patience for your funds to grow periodically. I'm sure you will achieve everything that you have posted here. I'm not hoping to have big home like yours but all I want us to start a business which should be mid sized factory in my country. I will keep bitcoin as option in it to pay and get paid if my business fits the criteria.
803  Economy / Economics / Re: A wise strategy for your bitcoin on: August 28, 2017, 11:59:08 AM
Very nice strategy and I liked the idea of compounding. It seems to be time consuming though, as we have to for very long until the bitcoin takes big jumps in market. Now we can't hope for hard forks each time and positive effect of it on the bitcoin value, lols, but patience is the key anyway. Each time i have read how people do the trading then there were words like patience, long terms, cold storage which indicates your strategy is i priced one along with compounding stuff. Will try to follow.
804  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: August 28, 2017, 11:50:37 AM
It is the nature of bitcoin to loose the value many times. For your most recent experience you can see the hard fork days when bitcoin was splitting away. Theo rice dropped all the way down to 1700 something which was due to Panick selling of the situation. People converged everything to fiat currency and altcoins to save the money and in the want that they don't wanna loose the money due to split. However nothing like that happened but in the nutshell price dropped and cam up again.  Cheesy
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: August 28, 2017, 11:10:45 AM
security and freedom of payment what attract me to use bitcoin .

Yes that is very genuine which I followed too for the sake of bitcoin. It is not just crypto currency that I use for storing but I earn it and convert to fiat currency on daily basis because I use it to buy all the things for my house. I don't mind loosing some over my conversion fees because it is still way lot for me. Financial freedom takes years to achieve, I might start a job today but would end up having stability after ten to twenty years by what time I will be old and will have more responsibilities on my shoulder. Bitcoin is the real deal which can compete with this one and I like it.
806  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining minimal TH/s needed to be profitable on: August 27, 2017, 05:55:48 AM

I was looking into some cloudmining and couldn't really find a clear answer on

how much TH/s you need to invest to make profit?

Anyone care to explain.

Was looking in hashflare cloudmining.

There is no such thing as minimal hash power required to overcome ROI. Know that the more you invest money, the equal is the time required to get back ROI. The difficulty is real bitch in the world of mining plus they will also charge you electricity cost while paying you out. This gets difficult one to calculate everything and each time you will see the ROI is difficult to achieve. More investment is more hash rate but it is also more time and energy required. Finally there is one more thing which already mentioned above, cloud mining is scam. ;-)
807  Economy / Economics / Re: Will early adoring countries get large economic benefits from BTC? on: August 27, 2017, 05:32:17 AM

Will countries that are early to adopt and allow Bitcoin be able to turn this into an economic advantage to them where they're better off than before?

First comers will always have the benefit of power status and volume. Don't forget we have limited supply to 21 million which means that not everyone is going to get the equal share due to decentralised nature, and thus whoever jumps in first will get most of the volume driven in their own country and will rule the price of bitcoin too. Just imagine more users, more demand and thus more value by that nation itself. When we will have to get the coins from them we will have to pay more than expected to them to have it. This is just speculation but a realistic one if countries really start adopting bitcoin in first place.

808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why compare BTC to USD? on: August 27, 2017, 04:53:07 AM
It's not official statement but it's just the way representing price one the terms of USD. In the world if you look for other assets also then they will be traded or stated in terms of price unit, that's USD. It is used in general to represent every other currency also. GBP, EUR are also having top values in the world but we still calculate them in USD for our understanding. The conversions are also always made in USD currency. May it's just has the easy acceptance globally and everyone understand the USD term that's why it is used.
809  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: August 27, 2017, 03:05:37 AM
I see no reason for crypto currencies to take over the fiat currency. How could that happen when the price is volatile for bitcoin which is major currency. Moreover I will you tackle the fact that bitcoin is limited coins and not more emission is possible as set by Satoshi sir.

Banks and governments will never fear of it, they never go in loss because they can print as much money as they want if its crisis or something else like bitcoin is taking over. They can but it in no time. So for sure that's not gonna happen.
810  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Police raids of miner homes? Should I expect one soon? on: August 27, 2017, 02:55:06 AM
I really liked your story. I thought I was in a movie for the instance.

Anyway, I don't think there is problem with your set up if the bitcoin thing is legal in your country. Just check with rules whether you can mine in the residential zone or not. These guys might be curious because of energy that you are using is not the normal one that powers the house. This is just their duty to confirm that you are not using the power for any illegal use.

No need to clean up as long as you are paying the electricity bills. Lols.
811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Feeling regret after (Not trading, not gambling, etc...) on: August 22, 2017, 05:27:39 AM

You have only one option for now that is to invest into different coins over the exchangers which may pump real soon. You can check most traded coins in the threads asking for the list of trustable coins. However, if were you then I would go for monero, social coin, omisego and ripple for the future investment. I wold have invested equal portions of my $100 USD to each coins that I have mentioned here. Once they start pumping you will see what your $ 100 USD can do to you.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Securities based ICO and Non Securities Based ICO on: August 22, 2017, 05:10:05 AM

Hi All,

Greetings from Singapore.

Do you all discover that Securities based ICOs (i.e. ICO that would be regulated by SEC / MAS in Singapore) generally all have bad returns.

Compared to non Securities based ICOs (like Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc) they perform better.

I don't really understand what you trying to say here but you want to compare the ICO basics or the platforms on which they are based. According to you they will decide the ultimate fate of ICO whether it is going to be successful or not. First of all what is SEC/MAS, I don't follow really. But yes bitcoin and Ethereum based investment are always safe that I know completely but not true always. ICO getting successful is really different story in long term agenda. The success doesn't depend on securities or something like that but it depends on the minimum goal which is set up by the ICO during the launch. If they have achieved their milestone of launching the project successfully then they are good to go. Rest looks too fetched.

813  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin is a rat poison? on: August 22, 2017, 04:50:38 AM
Looks like useless topic to me. Why would anyone call bitcoin as rat poison and what does it implies to really? Does it mean that bitcoin is bad ass and we are the rats? If that so then this is ridiculous stamens for sure. As far as I know bitcoin, it is the charm of crypto currency world and I would love to respect it for everything that it has given to me up until now. About the Warren buffet, he is rich guy and he will never talk something rubbish like this. Hope this epic gets locked soon. There is no point.

814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO on: August 22, 2017, 04:28:40 AM

The list is really confusing as there are both scams and legit projects are going on in the market. Its about us which one to pick really and which one to let go. People are investing because they are literate about the particular ICO, the white paper is best way to learn about the team involved behind the project. Out of many few are the people who’s name is enough to make the ICO successful and then people get to know which one is successful and which one is not.

815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: buying btc with xrp... on: August 21, 2017, 05:30:52 AM

That is very easy to do. You can checkout the information regarding xmr/btc pair on any exchanger, I guess livecoin has most trading volume for this pair so you may wanna try it out there. There is one more option while choosing platform which you can choose form the list given on coinmarektcap. Under this website go to the section where it says sort by exchanger. You will get all A to Z exchangers list including the XMR/BTC pair avaible for the trading. The conversion would be easy over livecoin, you can put on sell order immediately. :-)
816  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: starting a bitcoin service. Need your advice on: August 21, 2017, 05:09:38 AM

Very tough dude. This kind of crowd sale trading won’t be working well as people won’t be investing money in your services due to the fact that you are just claiming that you will trade for us and will payback once you get the profit. What about your own profit? How are you going to take the share of your profits. We will need to know the terms also, a security may be? What if anything goes other way around, will you pay back us the money which we invested? Thanks, let us know.

817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So I have BCC and BTC or what? on: August 21, 2017, 04:27:09 AM
Dont Bothe much about it as this is normal to happen. You don’t have two same coins but they are different and one of them is virtually alt coin which was created at the time hard fork that happened on August 1st this month. The decision was taken to split the blockckahin into two different size the result of which we have two coins now. This is brother of bitcoin only and you must’ve got credited with same amount of BCC after the hard fork as reward may be. Anyway if that is actually good thing that you have got them because its free and you can exchange with the BTC to earn more. You can do the exchange on any exchanger you preferred.

818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Playing game generate bitcoin ??? on: August 21, 2017, 04:10:56 AM

Some people produce bitcoin in game play ..... I want to learn about virtual world let alone produce bitcoin in game. If allowed to tell me how to get bitcoin inside the game? Because I love playing games. Thank you friend

None of this matters there are none worth paying you. If you are serious earner then the game type earning is not for you, but you just want to play game and doesn't care about earning then you may wanna try games listed in the gambling section. These are nothing but basic faucets who will pay you in timely fashion (like reaching different levels or with different time gaps) a specific amount of satoshi. These earnings are not much and at the end of day you will have few cents in your wallet. Which is aint worth.

819  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining with Nicehash, is it good? on: August 20, 2017, 01:15:21 PM

Not that much into GPU mining or Cloud mining but does it really matter? I have read many times that these type of mining are now out dated and they does not generate as much profit as of your investment. However, GPU could be profitable little enough but won’t be good in next year or so. If nice hash can cop up with the hashing rate and provides perfect algorithm then why no, anyone can prefer it. But my mind say, what its GPU, will it be worth it?

820  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are ways to make money from bitcoin/alt? on: August 20, 2017, 12:55:22 PM

For example,

Lending

Selling online

Mining

List them here I am open to all and curious what creative ways you guys make money from this.

Lending won't help you get any good money but fraud cases piling up on your head. Better choose this option only If you have security of the lending the money. Or you may just wanna do that with your friends circle for more trust.

Selling online is good option now a days. People are getting more and more into crypto currency and they are having demands for crypto related goods and services. They have money and if you make a place to spend the bitcoin/alts then you have pretty high chances of earning big money within no time. Just try to be sensible while creating a marketplace so that you don't end up with unpopular selling stuff. Digital would be good.

Mining can be done only if you have that much initial investment. Better not to go if you don't have patience and time to invest in the mining. It will take time to generate the revenue so better stay away if you have no money.

Rest you always have this forum to get some bucks and reinvest the hard earned money somewhere else.
