It is not and the same thing as you wold work for the normal job. You always have to work for earning things and bitcoin is no other thing than that. Anyway it has its own advantages over the fiat and other valuable things, where it grows when we keep it as it is. :-)
Bitcoin currently in the situation where the paling issues continues even after they said that it was resolved in the last big hard fork. The continued hype of the transaction fees and problems arising due to that will kill the bitcoin popularity or at least it may decrease it in the near future. So it is threat to bitcoin being next big thing stuff!

It will stay on the top no matter what because most of the crowd believes in the bitcoin only but again what we can say about the other rivals of it who are already jumping like crazy now a days. :-)

ICO's won't die like that. There will always be someone who is getting into new project and after seeing the investor response to the current ICO project I'm sure big teams are now desperate to launch their own projects soon.

The projects have been halted may be because the bitcoin went all up high this time which caused the project budget to drift a lot. I mean this impacts the marketing a lot when there is ups and downs in the bitcoin prices. So its always great to stay patient and watch for new ICO to pop in.

The bitcoin price seem to me a lot stable now and there will be soon a time which will bring list of the ICO's. Everything will resume a lot once people see the bright side of the bitcoin again. As if now we are struggling with transaction a lot.

From here the price may increase because it looks like they are making the real deal. With tremendous increase in the market capitalisation XRP has touched down the second position in crypto currencies. Don't you think that is the best thing ever happened to ripple. I mean this way it will attract more and more investors into it. People might have started thinking about the Ripple as next bitcoin and due to this people will hold it more. After all the centralisation of this currency has made its way through all the crypto currency and now it has brought it to second position now. Thats the thing which will get the ripple to even further in the prices. It could really hike to 5-10 USD in next few months or it could be next week, and we will never know the suddenness of this.

It could happen that bitcoin may be eaten by its rival. The bitcoin dominance has fallen by all dow to 38% in todays date. The crypto currencies are heading towards new revolution. Other coins are faster in transaction and lower in fees a total advantage over the bitcoin and thus the use of them might just increase a lot. The coins are well thought projects since long time, just the way bitcoin gotten its investors in long term these projects will get it too. Thus the dominance of the bitcoin will go even down and it may vanish one day. This will leave our bitcoin almost naked in very short period of time. So you see with this aftermath I'm definitely sure that many wrong things could happen.

But I'm sure about one thing, we can not predict it so fast. The new year has just started and there are many more thing yet to come and surprise us.

Yeah most probably. The reason is all the hypes that occured up until now. Well the hype? Many of the altcoins went crazy this time, unexpected coins came into picture after very long terms and people who were not in the crypto and did not believe it are now coming into it with full fledge. This is what will change the face of crypto currency in the coming days this year. More people means more investment and it would be better opportunity for new ICO to come into picture. So yeah this is going to be crazy year for the crypto currency. :-)

Im really holding onto bitcoin for long and I will do it unless and until it go above 20K again. The time is to show some patience and there is no point in the selling after seeing bitcoin once reaching the 20K. It will do it again and there is no doubt about. As we all know we had to cash out some portion of it for the Christmas thing and the holidays stuff, this has dropped it down currently. The market capitalism would be huge once the bitcoin takes the leap in the next month. People will be refreshed from the holidays, they will be hungry to earn some profits because they would had spent every dime on the holidays etc. With that kind of evaluation I'm hoping that bitcoin will bang once more and we will start seeing the upwards movement. :-)

Dash is already spiked upto the limits it can reach this year. I think you should go with the DASH to BTC only. Also, ETH has strong points this new year, its spiking is sure shot and many speculators are saying that it will take no time until it gets spiked to double in value which it currently is having.

DASH is currently in the non aggressive mode, what it had, it had achieved already and its time it will go in the dormant stage. You wont be able to recover it and then replenish your ETH needs. So better let it go for your needs and get some fiat exchanged in short time. :-) Plus one to that one.

Now alt coin seems to me best investment opportunity ever. I mean after seeing the bitcoin growth which is very slow during this month and no signs of it getting pumped back. The alts are moving with some choice and I think it is great opportunity to invest into them. Once the bitcoin gets back to work after the hard time then all the alts will have hard time finding their way through big investors. So its always advisable to get into alts during this period. Many good opportunity coming with new coins too, they are unexceptionally doing great and what we need to do is just to focus on their growth and how we can benefit from it.

Not sure what is the exact reason behind it but it is surely not as positive as the negative news are! Lol. In my country the bitcoin being taken as dangerous thing as nuclear reactor. They are not liking the concept bitcoin at all because they think that this will increase the corruption in terms of black money. As the bitcoin is decentralised currency and no government really controls it so people might just move their property into bitcoin form and thus make it difficult for tax department to track everything. I mean thats the initial idea behind it and I think political pressure is what makes news channels to go crazy about it and spread the negative news everywhere. This creates the fear in the peoples mind and thus easier for the government to loose extra work load that may arise in the situation. Its possibility scenario. !

Well, nothing looks like that to me. I mean BTC is still struggling at the 15K after the market correction was done. The news of segwit2x has mad everyone go crazy and they are not thinking about anything but juts saving up the BTC from being destroyed over the blockchain by converting it into fiat or other alt coins. The thing is BTC needs little more time to recover from this situation and I think this will happen in the next 2-3 months but not before that. I mean to reach the rates of 22K again it will need to cover up that 50 B USD market again. For now people are away from the crypto market and waiting for the new year eagerly. So I believe we should wait too :-)
ETH has already achieved the milestone of 700 USD ++ and it has to catch up even further rates so we should be tuned with it as well.

Yes me too! I was too surprised after seeing the market for Ripple hit the 2 USD mark. Dam I mean thats cool for any coin to hit the 10X rates in such short period of time and more than that whats important is, it is being done naturally. There is no artificial pump and neither there is any bad legacy behind it! The 24 hour volume is almost 2-3 billion dollars for the XRP, and it is more or less similar to ETH only. This is really dangerous thing for the ETH coin and amazing thing for the XRP market itself.

Though XRP is getting into hearts of investors but I don't think it will cross the BTC market itself. It is huge and more than enough to keep the #1 place all the time. I agree on the XRP market completely, its best and it can move further than what we are seeing right now but it will take huge efforts for it to reach the BTC prices.

Wow you earned my respect dude. You studied this coin very well and now enjoying the real reward from its spiking. Im liking the investors who really wait for very long and then after a year or so they publish the story of their success. This gives me a lot of satisfaction when I see that and get motivated. The real thing is I have stated making portfolio of mine after seeing the great hikes only otherwise it is always difficult for us to trust any specific coin and then get the job done. Anyway XRP has really shown its potential after long period of time and they are getting at number 2-3 position soon. They are making the real developments and thus making the fat wallets for the shareholders of the same project. This is cool really and hope many of us will earn royalty like this way only. :-)

The list is long but I think of the following coins on priority investment.
1) Ripple : We loosing the time to invest in this coin but I'm thinking that we are still not loosing the profit margins though it has reach almost 2 USD rate today. Thats really crazy and amusing thing about the coin.
2) XEM : Yes, this is next hot deal I'm looking at and well it still below 1 USD and easy to invest in. The development are going on with lighting fast speed and it is said to be next ETH by many speculators.
3) ADA : Cardano is driving the adrenaline of many people and just the way it pumped XEM, XRP coins this coins is going to pump as well for sure. So have look into it as well.

If you keep waiting for that right opportunity then you will never find it really. The uptrend and downtrend will keep happening all the time. What you need to do is just get into it when you are ready to do. Always remember the altcoin market behaves a lot in many ways and you just need to focus on few of the good coins available in the market. If they are in buzz and lots of people are juts talking about it in the forum and elsewhere then that coin must be invested in and held for future returns.

Choosing alt coin always have been very tricky for many investors and new comers. Its not there fault actually because there already too many coins and at the first time they all might just look great investment but thats not the reality. So you can juts grab those which are most talked and according to the market depth they have reached.

Yeah things are getting too much advance now a days and bitcoin is one of the thing which is growing faster these days.

However I'm concerned about its future a bit. Though bitcoin is having many pros over other assets, currencies etc then also it carried many more cons and we just experienced that one in the start of this month. The BTC fees are getting very high now days and it is weird to handle due to high load of transactions. If we are saying on the one side that bitcoin is advancing then it must recover these transaction situation to fulfil actual needs of the daily users. Otherwise it could become very nonsensical to put our money online. :-)

Dam how can anyone go that much crazy. It's not the right way to go for crypto trading. I mean we do loose money in it but we should be responsible about it before we start it. We must limit our trades and inevstment into it.

The addiction is another thing. It could be bad or it could be good one too but depends on how you approach towards it. :-)
One must invest money which is affordable to us so that we don't run into trouble at all.

Good collection of undervalued coins and such coins are good when they have pretty high market cap. The later is important for its development and it also makes sure that coin is going to pop with new prices soon. Dogecoin recently gotten new hikes of 0.01 USD. That's not much but it shows that it is moving in first place. Same follow for other coins too and my stakes are on siacoin and bytcoin for long term investment. With small investment we can buy more coins and once they turn into some dollar value then that's huge return for our small investment. :-)
That's good strategy for very very long term.

I have heard of them and worked for one on the forum itself. But I don’t think I will go and invest that much money in those coins because that would be really risky business. They are kind of not in the list of good engagements and developments. They are not even popular and they will be or might be that’s the case of future. But if I’m really required to choose from these coins then I will go with GATCOON. Rest won’t be my choice looking at the market cap they have acquired. For info, I will really choose to invest that kind of money into ETH and BTC.

Obviously you will get more ripple if you bought the BTC at lower rates of USD. It’s not just about the exchanger rate but also about the quantity that you receive when you speak about the coins here. At lower USD you will be able to get more BTC for the same USD amount which you were going to spend at 16k as well as 18k per BTC. This continues further for the ripple also. So with less price of BTC which you bought you will have more BTC and thus with more BTC you can absolutely get more XRP. That’s the simplest calculation here. If you remember the quantity plus prices relation then you will come to know it’s important at what rates you getting the bitcoin. It will also increase the profits in further stages of ripple investment.

It’s upto you how you gonna mine it and for how long you are going to keep your coins as it is after you mine them. I mean this is easy stuff, if you mine and keep the coins for next five years then your mining would become profitable after you see increased rates of Btc per coin. If you mind today and then same coin becomes worth 50k in next two years then surely you will get all the profits in no time. It’s all about your mentality and working nature. Mining could get DIFFICULT but it will remain profitable forever if you go with proper steps. Holding works for the investors and you can become one after having some coins mined,!!
