Yes a lot of people are mining Zclassic especially with Claymores equihash GPU miner, it's exactly the same setup since it uses the same algorithm, just enter different pool details Wink

If you're going to be using Claymore's miner, I recommend you use http://zcash.flypool.org/.
I find switching to & from the dev fee is considerably faster if you're already mining to flypool.

Faster switching == Faster rewards/profits over the long term.

my rx 470 & rx 480 overtake each other.. sometimes the 470 take the lead sometimes it is the 480 in front... like valentino rossi vs marq marquez...

a new version will be tomorrow? I used to download a new version every two days - I believe this is a tradition:))))

Claymore’s Zcash AMD Miner is Really Killing Everything Else Performance Wise?
http://cryptomining-blog.com/8349-claymores-zcash-amd-miner-is-really-killing-everything-else-performance-wise/

Or is it rather the possibilities of architecture (Maxwell, Pascal, GCN)?

Claymore can you include the devfee in the actual hashrate like optiminer does? My sharerate and hashrate drops a lot after betweem devfee.

Yes you can mine zclassic.

I dont think private farms are owning a lot better software, maybe slightly better at this stage. I wonder what happened to sp's solvers/kernels.

i have rig with 6 XFX 460 8GB and when i used claymore v6 hashrate was 150-160 per GPU and slowly after minutes the hashrate down to 120 per gpu. i tried to change intensity with no results. Any reason for this ?
In gpu-z i found that with claymore v6 my gpu core clock is used at 800-900 Hz. With claymore v5 gpu clock was at 1266 Hz .

I have a few curious issue with V6 that didnt exist in earlier versions :
On some of my rigs the miner hangs on startup, its just stuck at the first screen right after it identifies the GPU's. This happens randomly and on reboot everything's fine, but on unattended miners this is a big concern.
On one miner I keep getting a few lines of "GPU #1 returned incorrect data" occassionally.
I am also getting "cannotfindjob" errors on almost all miners but it appears very infrequently so not a real issue
I'set my rigs to restart the miner every hour, and reboot the system every 6 hours. I'd like to know what other people are doing - are you guys restarting every few hours or just letting it run? Do you use a batch file or powershell scripts? Ive even considered getting Smart powerplugs so I can force reboot machines remotely. Any experiences on those?

Yes I can do it, probably I'll add an appropriate option in next update.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

and every two days we get +20% increase in hashrate (also the diff is going up.. so nothing really changes Smiley)))

Or are you really noob or you're the owner of a private or Linux miner. Faster Claymore miner allows us to fight with the private big miners and fast Linux miners .

Sorry maybe you misunderstood me.

In my tiny little mind I think that soon or later every miner sw will have similar hashrate, or everyone will use Claymore's miner. Why would anybody use a slower miner? I use both Linux and WIN OS, I'm not a Linux or Windows fan or idiot. And if somebody is stupid I don't care, anybody has the right to use a slower miner and earn less profit, even the big mining farms or the Linux-fanatics. Smiley

Hello, can anyone recommend me a bios for RX480 nitro 4GB with Hynix memory?
I've already tried mods for 1750 and 2000 straps but I can get more than 137 Sol/s..

I use sapphire nitro+ RX480 4gb hynix memory..
I edit the bios (silence mode) using polaris bios editor like this:

copied 1500 timings to 1750 & 2000, 1425 to 1625, 1375 to 1425 & 1500..
change the memory setting from 1750 to 1900..

then flashed it with atiwinflash.. reboot..

Now running claymore v6.0 with -i 4 setting.. getting about 153-155 h/s... the average gpu draw power showed in GPU-Z 86.3 W... now still trying to lower GPU voltage using sapphire Trixxx to lower the power usage further... still stable so far...

is there any recomended bios edit configuaration for saphire RX 480 nitro OC 8GB?
Temporary i am at stock bios, just downvolt for -100mV.  Power around 800w. i will like to lower it to 600w. with bios V3 for ethereum edit i had less then 600w with V3 and claymore miner v5. and i hash around 575 h/s. Stock it was around 630h/s.

so any suggestion. Thank you for advice and wish you good mining:)

i wrote a time ago about my hashrate with claymore v6 of my rig of 6 xfx 480 8gb.  Now i start claymore v5 and i dont understand why miner reduce gpu core clock without set any gpu clock parameters or powerlimit.  this happen today and dont understand what is going on. claymore reduce core clock to 600-700 Mhz i have about 70H per gpu. I watch gpu-z and core clock is not permanently. This i
I have another rig with two xfx rx 480 1300Mhz and there is not a problem. Core clock is permanent of 1300 Mhz and hashrate is 170H per gpu.
any idea !!
now i will update amd crimson driver. catalyst driver dont support rx 480.
