Claymore Sir!

Some suggestions for your consideration:

1. Having a directory called "Remote Manager" isn't as smart as "Remote_Manager" or "RemoteManager" from a file-path-in-DOS point of view
2. Could we have some sort of debug option for identifying GPUs? I know the indexing can be iffy, if one GPU is under-performing or outright not working, it may be handy to identify the physical GPU. (at the moment I simply set the fan speed of that GPU to high - perhaps you could follow this lead? or have a better idea?)

thanks for the great miner.

Hello, can anyone recommend me a bios for RX480 nitro 4GB with Hynix memory?
I've already tried mods for 1750 and 2000 straps but I can get more than 137 Sol/s..

I use sapphire nitro+ RX480 4gb hynix memory..
I edit the bios (silence mode) using polaris bios editor like this:

copied 1500 timings to 1750 & 2000, 1425 to 1625, 1375 to 1425 & 1500..
change the memory setting from 1750 to 1900..

then flashed it with atiwinflash.. reboot..

Now running claymore v6.0 with -i 4 setting.. getting about 153-155 h/s... the average gpu draw power showed in GPU-Z 86.3 W... now still trying to lower GPU voltage using sapphire Trixxx to lower the power usage further... still stable so far...

is there any recomended bios edit configuaration for saphire RX 480 nitro OC 8GB?
Temporary i am at stock bios, just downvolt for -100mV.  Power around 800w. i will like to lower it to 600w. with bios V3 for ethereum edit i had less then 600w with V3 and claymore miner v5. and i hash around 575 h/s. Stock it was around 630h/s.

so any suggestion. Thank you for advice and wish you good mining:)

I don't have the 480 8gb.. only the 480 4gb & 470 8gb...

I lowered the gpu voltage down to -60 mv using sapphire Trixxx with the above bios setting.. I managed to down gpu draw power to 73.5 watt average without affecting the hashrate:

5 x RX480:

ZEC - Total Speed: 818.401 H/s, Total Shares: 517, Rejected: 2, Time: 00:10
ZEC: GPU0 164.360 H/s, GPU1 164.098 H/s, GPU2 161.291 H/s, GPU3 164.007 H/s, GPU4 164.646 H/s

So each RX480 is doing ~163.6 rock stable.

1. Do you start EthMan from command line? Well, just rename the folder if you don't like its name.
2. "-di detect" option is to detect GPU order. "-tt -100,-1" will set fan 100% for first card. "-tt -1,-100,-1" does the same for second card, etc. You can press "0" key in runtime to disable mining on first GPU to find it (it will be cool after some time). I don't have any better ideas, let me know if you do.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Wow.. that's cool man!
are they the 8gb version or 4gb version?
If you don't mind can you share your gpu setting (cclock/memclock, strap bios etc) a little bit?

In some of my rigs with identical cards I've seen the motherboard affect the hashrate...its not always the cards.

1. Sure do! and I do rename it, just cant see the advantage of having a space int eh source .zip.
2. Yeah this is pretty much my workflow, was wondering if you had anything else, perhaps pulsing the target GPU fan on a keypress?

So according to ethman i see 12000 h/s on my rigs but on coinmine.pl zclassic pool i only see 10k never even seen the hashrate get close to what my rigs actually say

i did not have that issue on pool.mn , could it be a latency issue or is coinmine stealing hashes ?

I have the same problem with coinmine,pl. Always shows less hashrate than my real one. it`s always 20-30% down.
I put my rigs on flypool now and hashrates matches. I`ll see how are the payments.

Shares is what really counts, it could also be due to vardiff settings, other than that coinmine.pl is working good for me with ZCL

Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ OC 8GB

I can upload the BIOS somewhere if you want to play with it. (I don't recommend people use it for all their cards)

That's great idea man.. I never flash my card directly with any downloaded bios.rom... I usually just open the downloaded bios.rom file & open my copy bios.rom, compare the value then if everything look right i try to copy the value from downloaded bios to the copy of my bios.rom and flash my card with that copy of my own bios that has been modified .. I understand the rule in any  forums.. the risk of taking advice from any forum is completely my own risk.. :-)

I got this error on two rigs in 24 hours

Code:
WATCHDOG: GPU 6 hangs in OpenCL call, exit
WATCHDOG: GPU 6 hangs in OpenCL call, exit
WATCHDOG: GPU 7 hangs in OpenCL call, exit
WATCHDOG: GPU 7 hangs in OpenCL call, exit

But it doesn't have 6 and 7 GPU.
