One cannot distinguish between saved and lost coins, because it is only possible to prove ownership of a private key, but impossible to prove that a private key is lost. I.e. nobody can tell the difference between whether I just haven't moved my coins for five years or I lost the key. However I just did some quick net search, from redit through stackexchange and ending with random people blogs and pretty accurate picture emerges, about 25% of bitcoins has been lost forever. 4.000.000! if you add Satoshis stash Some talented programmer could write a script which would be looking for wallets "inactive" for 4-5 years, with equal(like 50 BTC or 75) amount of bitcoins (possibly from early mining), that could give us some more precise knowledge.

So the contest is almost coming to an end, curious to see if anyone would still like to join?
I will try with one more idea. Simple and iconic. Somehow similar to untolds work, not intended. Two more days in the competition left, I bet the best logos are yet to be posted Virtually any colour could be applied, only one layer in any resolution with transparent background. I think it will be my last approach for this contest.

I'm having trouble with logging in to betcoin account.IP verification system is not sending me any emails and I hate that. The same happens with password reset method. What should I do besides placing a ticket? (I did file a ticket now but not sure if system recognizes my email) This happens to me second time, before it was just temporary, last month it was all OK, now second day in a row and no massages. Edit: Case closed, handled and resolved by betcoin support.

-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- Today is 21 August 2017. Staking my new address. -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNATURE----- Version: Bitcoin-qt (1.0) Address: 1CNVoTNpbuLXxwgSdLR6Q871nqJEsBxWev

Please quote this one. The previous one didn't quote my 2nd singed message since I just edited the post and add another sign message. No problem, massage verified and quoted.
Obviously verified with coinig... yes its has its flaws but calling people stupid for using it... c'mon as long as it works for certain signatures, it is absolutely OK to use it, cause why not?

the strange thing is, there should have been a password for that wallet and now it launched and showed how many coins there are on the wallet without asking for the password. or will it ask for the password if I try to export private keys?
Hi. Yes this is correct. Cool that everything works for you Multibit classic is not asking for any passwords at start-up. Your passcode will come in handy while doing some operations with the wallet, sending BTC or signing personal massage etc. Safety reasons dictate to import "empty" private keys in to BCH wallet. So make sure you have bitcoins stored in a different wallet while working on retrieving BCH.

You probably heard it from your friend or read it somewhere but you didn't read how messed up the forum is. I try to understand those people who can't convey their thought clearly in English but saying that you can't make any sense from it then that would be an actual problem...
Most of the times I can make some sense of it, but I've been here like a week and I've seen other forum members complaining because they don't understand what someone says. Thanks to The Pharmacist, I've recently remembered that writing quality posts and in good English are supposed to be useful to get accepted into signature campaigns (and not to get higher ranks). But campaign managers don't seem to be very strict regarding this matter. Well that depends, I have had a few situations where campaign manager told me that he would love to have me at his campaign, that for past few days all he gets are submissions from "illiterate" people and if this rate continues he will be out of work. Basically, amount of good posters is limited, new ones are disqualified because of fresh accounts, older members are usually wearing some signature etc. They(managers) sometimes have no choice. At first glance I thought you will be referring to crappy threads Those about shoe size, favourite movie or amount of inches nature gave you are the best/worst. I have been wondering why those are permitted, rules clearly say, no crappy subjects... Anyway, welcome at the forums, have fun and stay safe.

RaiBlocks Team
Just my one cent to the pile: Maybe it is time to drastically change the distribution model? Just like most other altcoin airdrops, go with registration and 1click for everyone to receive fixed amount every 24h or so. No more farming, no more abusing, bots and "illegal" pools. It works for others than why not for Raiblocks? Yes, its super ordinary, in fact one may say its boring but you can see for yourself where competitive model drove all of us... Either way, good luck and try to make Rai interesting and fair one more time pretty please
