I'm pretty confused. If I had bitcoin in a bitcoin core wallet prior to the fork, does that mean I can send those bitcoins now and still claim the bcc later? what happens if I receive new bitcoin in my core wallet now - does that change anything?
Yes, you can claim them any time, today, tomorrow or next year (if it survives that long). New transactions will be ignored by BCH network. As of now most wallets for BCH are still seeing "after fork" transactions, Im sure it will change soon. When a correct network is set in the wallet configs, those incompatible TX's are gone. Make sure to follow the procedure as stated by theymos in the upper "news bar". |

Tip: note how the companion pets interact with each other. If you are about to acquire one, make sure to use the other ASAP, otherwise one will cancel the other and chances for additional points will get lost. I check on blockchair.com/bitcoin-cash/blocks , to find the Tx ID, so now, I have these info : On 1st August I moved my BTC to a new Armory wallet 2, about this transaction, Armory tells me the Lock-Time is Block 478557 and that the Tx is included in Block 478558. I exported the private key (one, for this wallet). The Tx is listed in BTC chain explorer AND in BCH chain explorer.
Later on 1st August, I moved my BTC from wallet 2 to a new Armory wallet 3, about this transaction, Armory tells me the Lock-Time is Block 478589 and that the Tx is included in Block 478591. I exported the private keys (two, for this wallet). The Tx is listed in BTC chain explorer but NOT in BCH chain explorer. If I understand well, BCH blockchain after fork did not see my BTC moving from wallet 2 into wallet 3, and still believe my BTC are in this wallet ? So, I suppose I must use the private key of wallet 2 to discover my BCH in a BCH wallet, right ? So, if I understand well, I must import the private key from wallet 2 into Electron ? I did it, but no BCC in balance. I also tried to Sweep the privates key in Electron, still nothing. Electron is configured to NOT Select server automatically, Proxy tab is set to Use SSL and NONE, and Server tab set to use server electroncash.cascharia.com at port 50002, it says : Connected to 10 nodes

Is just me or captcha system is disabled?
I could still see the captcha system on my desktop, It is a requirement to solve the google captcha in order to claim the free roll every hour on freebitco.in, I guess that is a preventive measure to prevents bots doing auto-claims, it is kind of strange if you can't even see the captcha box to click on your side, maybe sending a support ticket to ask what happen would be the best option for you. I guess there is no need for filing a ticket because of such trivial issue. There was an announcement from wetsuit few weeks ago, regarding removing captcha for specific users. We where never told what the criteria was to have captcha-less faucet but I think it is mostly deposits. The moment I have deposited some satoshis to the "bank" my captcha was gone. Yesterday I have withdrawn some and captcha is back Might be that simple really. |

But you're missing something - selling the tokens isn't.
Why would people buy your token?
Ok but if I have a good idea and some basic c++ coding skills then I can create something worth potentially billions?Im sorry but it still seems disproportionately easy to me. Bolden word is kinda key here as well. Potentially even Elvis's poop was worth millions at some point in time... heck its would probably be to this point. Luckily, he never gathered it  as far as we know. Look at the current alts market, it is saturated with various tokens, coins and assets of unknown origin. Only few are relatively successful compared to bitcoin, you will need to work hard on multiple levels (PR, marketing, tech support, design, development) to make a good and interesting project and there is one more factor here, it is luck, good fortune, positive karma, what ever you wanna call it. |
