well i don't know how you got that number, accroding to my experience, when you load a card, the rate is displayed , and it's 1.5% lower than kraken's rate, i use mainly EUR currency

i mean it depend to where your btc's comes from, unless there is some hidden fees that i didn't notice, it was my 1st load, will double check next time

The rate to convert BTC to EUR at cryptopay now is 1,122.908 EUR and kraken price is 1,150.990 EUR so the margin is 2.5% + 1% loading fee = 3.5%, be careful with them

XAPO, spectrocoin or uquid they all have low fees and vary which one has the lowest, just spectrocoin and uquid have a bit better support than XAPO (reacts quicker usually).

As much as I hate the current exchange rates at Wirex I need to say they're doing awesome work with their mobile app. But since I would like to actually use (withdraw with good rates) my BTCs I did some research for Wirex alternatives.

I took some exchanges with low fees from @eduBTCs list and here's my result:

SpectroCoin & AdvCash are looking promising at least I didn't find anything suspicious.

P.S.: I'm ready to leave @Wirex, your app isn't that good that I would pay like 5-9 % exchange rate difference fee per withdraw...Fix it as soon as possible, otherwise you'll lose customers...You're doing many things right, I would love to stay.

I have currently been in contact with wirex support over the past 3 weeks trying to resolve a issue with my USD card. Before now, I thought wirex was only on reddit publicly. I have been in contact with them on reddit here for atleast 2 weeks about the issue. Here is whats going on :

Wirex is a scam. They have been trying to hold my money for a month now. Telling me that after I loaded the card with funds, now I have to verify the card. This is however a lie because I followed the stipulations of a unverified usd card. Instead, wirex claims that there is a 1,000 USD card load limit for the life of the card on reddit. On their website, it shows that there is a 2500 dollar limit to load onto the usd card. When inquiring why my 1141 dollars transaction does not go thru on Amazon.com wirex replyed :

"I understand your point. However, you are getting the situation all wrong, getmeright. Verification is not something you "decided to do" or not. This is part of the terms and conditions of the service and actually, is established by the card issuing bank. It's as simple as this: If you surpass the lifetime limit for card expense of $1000 for unverified users, you have to verify your account in order to continue using the services. Why are you lying to me? Why are you trying to steal my money and say I need to verify my card. This isnt true at all. Your system actually stop me from loading more usd onto card when the limit is reached. What you are telling me and the website information is very different. I need my money off this card rigght now. Stop trying to steal my money. Everyone. Look at this public response. Oh, this again. We already explained countless of times this is not true. However, We do have a technical issue regarding our Bitcoin rate right now, and we have the development team working on it.

Also, bitcoins don't "vanish" on Wirex. If you get a problem with your balance, you just have to write to the support team and they can help you. Actually, It's kind of suspicious at least 8 accounts with less than 5 posts are repeatedly spraying the same misinformation about Wirex. However, We do understand there are issues, like with any service growing fast and offering new features all the time, but none of the issues of any user is left unresolved. Please, next time look at facts, not emotions ok?

What do you mean the website information is wrong? How am I supposed to know the limits then? I looked on your webpage to see the rles and regulations, so I could follow them, so I would not be screwed out of my money. The name I used to pen this card is 100% fake. I can not supply documents for this. Not only that, you decieve me by leading me and everyone else who uses this app believe that we can upload 2500 dollars onto the crd, when in fact that is a lie. The facts on this company create negative emotions. The link you sent me about the wirex limits indicated 2,000$ load liit. You said previously there was a 1k load limit. The card in question, for me, has 1152 dollars on it. That is under 2,000. I spent under 2k on this card. Now what is the issue? Why do I need to verify again? Come up with more lies bro. I uploaded the screenshots so everyone can calculate how much money i transferred into fiat. I want my money off this damn card.

Why i left WirexApp after 6 months:

1. Exchange rate BTC 2 USD are 8-12% (Yes, I pay 12% exchange rate!)
2. Sending money to anther BTC wallet take more than 12H. Why? because the set fee on 90.2 sat/B, so it can take also 48H
3. When making exchange UDS2BTC (from card) you pay 6% exchange rate and funds isn't in my account. Got email confirm and of that but no funds in account
4. I use new USD VCC, pay 900$, try to pay 200$ and card refuse. Why? When i register my account it was 2'500$ without KYC, now they change it to 1,000$ without notice.
5. Because of 4, i send them all my doc to verify my account, it will take 10 days when i need to use VCC now....

All this was in last week. I am beginning to think that is a scam.

I move to AdvCash. Verify my account take 5H. Exchange rate BTC2USD is 5%. And very high limits for card.

Still can't get my 900USD in  WirexApp account, 450USD was lost in transaction to anther wallet, 450USD disappear after exchange from VCC to BTC.

Wirex isn't a scam (well, it wasn't before -> i was all happy before on the e-coin platform), but they have a lot of problems lately..
Exchange rate is really too high, should be less for about 3-4%.
I sent over some BTC last night and it shows the transaction went ok , but the BTC never arrived on my account.

Im sure they will fix this issue of vanishing BTC, because on the block explorer i can see that the amount is there.
But for the exchange rate... I believe nothing will change
