241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 27, 2024, 08:14:00 AM
But, they don't play in any other league besides Serie A in this season, so I don't think they will underestimate or take it easily with the rest matches. Probably Inzaghi would use this moment for experiment, unknown players might play.

Inter need to think about the next generation of their strikers, currently they have 2 prime players and 2 old players, they have none young player.
Time to make good use of these odds in matches, no more overthrowing these opportunities across borders. Inter Milan will undoubtedly win the scudetto this season, having set the basic planning on carrying out major winnings, Simeone Inzaghi doing a great job to maintain such good runs. Inter Milan shouldn't underrate other oppositions simply because they're topping the Seria A table with 14 points points difference. Remember AC Milan have bounced back to incredible form and they're aiming for streak winnings, the exact scenario is in the case of the Nerazzurri.
Look, Inter is playing football at a title level. They didnt get this lead by chance; they did things the right way. However, let's be honest: until the end of the game, nothing is certain. AC Milan has been on a roll lately; you have to admire that. Inter needs to get ready because this is a wake-up call. The next few games for Inter are very important. Especially the ones against Milan and Lazio. A lot more than points, its speed. Now, I think Inter has the skills to stay in the game. Better schedule, and all eyes are on Serie A. Thats a big plus. But thats why we love the game, right? The excitement and the upsets. What will happen? It might get really interesting.

(...)
It says Sir Jim Ratcliffe will be considering Ten Hag future after end of this season because if Ten Hag unable to bringing Manchester United to finish at champion league zone (...)

Man United are not very lucky when it comes to managers after Alex Ferguson retired. They keep changing them every season or two with no visible effects.
Now the latest rumours are they are considering Gareth Southgate, but Ten Hag is almost guaranteed to keep his job until the end of the season.

The team's performance is definitely far from satisfactory. After finishing 3rd last season, fans were hoping Man Utd would engage in the fight for the title this season, but instead, they're witnessing their team struggling to even break into the top 5.
There's clearly something wrong with United's attack, they've only scored 39 goals this season, which is very low for a club of their calibre (for Comparison, Arsenal has 70).

I don't think anything could save Ten Hag's position unless he manages to please the fans and club owners by winning against Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Look, you're 100% right about United post-Ferguson. We've gone from a force of nature to a...well, lets just say its not pretty. Used to be Old Trafford was untouchable. Now we're just praying for decent results. This attack is pathetic. 39 goals? Arsenal has almost double that. Ouch.

Ten Hag...Im gonna be honest, the guy might not be the answer. Not his fault the club's a mess, but those numbers are brutal. That third place last year fooled us. Right now, it feels like we're backsliding. Forget the title, will we even make top 5? If not, changes NEED to happen. Maybe big wins against Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal would buy him time, but thats a tall order. We're missing that fire, that United spirit. Something's gotta change, and fast.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Innovative methods or technologies" on: March 27, 2024, 07:26:52 AM
First, expect layer-2 technologies like the Lightning Network to boost transaction throughput. Off-chain scaling will alleviate the main blockchain, enabling fast, cheap transactions. Second, expect consensus processes to improve, possibly toward energy-efficient Proof-of-Stake models. This would greatly reduce environmental problems. Zero-knowledge proof advances could improve privacy and increase verification efficiency.

These modifications will require new, well-crafted BIPs. Bitcoin's open-source nature fuels a global developer community. This collaborative atmosphere and rigorous development method will lead to robust, reliable, and transformational solutions. The next decade will be historic for Bitcoin.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dangerous insights on bitcoin Investor on: March 27, 2024, 06:33:03 AM
First, congratulations to the young man on his Bitcoin accomplishment. Remember, investing in Bitcoin - or any asset class - is about long-term growth, not immediate riches. Financial literacy matters. I know old income structures are more recognizable, but condemning new wealth paths isnt development.

Sadly, this story illustrates the generational difference and widespread ignorance about changing financial conditions. The parents may have learned and bridged the gap before judging. This happened with the internet, social media, and rock-and-roll. True spirit is open-mindedness. Dont judge what we dont understand; educate ourselves and others. Bitcoin is an opportunity, not a threat.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the pros and cons of gold compared to bitcoin? on: March 27, 2024, 06:29:36 AM
The "tangibility", of gold, is a mixed blessing, as you put it. Yes, instant recognition boosts confidence.  However, most people cant securely store much gold. Bank vaults? This reliance reduces decentralization. Home storage? What a recipe for insomnia.  Bitcoin, though ethereal, may now be safeguarded by cryptography. A hardware wallet and a secure seed phrase provide unmatched financial sovereignty - the kind of "tangibility" that matters today.

For those without bitcoin, its transitory. The internet was originally considered a craze. Bitcoin is a revolution in value storage and exchange. Progress may challenge old-school investors with fixed ideas. Understanding will become as common as recognizing gold when the technology evolves and acceptance expands.  Will the naysayers adjust swiftly or be left behind clutching their bullion while the world marches on?
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TimeLock for 40 years payday? on: March 26, 2024, 05:34:31 AM
this is a brilliant idea! A 40-year Bitcoin timelock - now thats how you win big. Dont bother with those weak-willed people who cant handle themselves. The way, you're taking charge and building your future.

The great thing about this is that it forces you to spend in the future. If you get paid regularly in Bitcoin, you'll become very wealthy, even Wall Street losers can only dream of it. Its clever, its brave, and I think its great.

We'll get rid of the Trezor and figure out the best way to send those payments. Any way it takes, or a custom answer. The goal is to make your plan come true.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 25, 2024, 03:49:05 PM
But the problem now is that we are worried about Kevin De Bruyne's injury. I am sure that if De Bruyne cannot appear in the Man City vs Arsenal match then it could be a big loss for Man City. Because we know that De Bruyne is the best there who can move the ball into the attack line very smoothly and make the squad score more goals. Now the news is that De Bruyne is injured again but what I read is that it is a groin injury or something similar. I forget. But it doesn't seem to be the same injury that kept De Bruyne out for so long since the start of the season.

I hope Man City and Arsenal can play with their best squad. Because the match will not be balanced if one of the mainstay players from each team cannot play.
De Bruyne misses friendly matches for the Belgium national team due to a groin injury. As far as we know, the injury is minor, most likely just a sprain, but apparently Guardiola does not want to take risks before important matches and in order not to put additional stress on the KDB, he decided to stay in the team to recover. This is the right decision, because if De Bruyne is added to Ederson at this stage, it will weaken the team. In addition, friendly matches are not so important at this stage, so they can be skipped without harm to the national team.
I hope De Bruyne really only has a minor injury. Because we also realize how important the role of Kevin De Bruyne is in the Man City squad. Even before De Bruyne recovers from injury, we can see Man City not being very productive. but after De Bruyne returned we could see Man City again experiencing an increase in goal productivity. In fact, it's not just Haaland who is able to surprise the opponent's goal, but Man City's other strikers are able to do the same after De Bruyne returns. Well, let's hope it's not a serious injury because I expect the maximum match from the two teams that will compete.
You raise a fantastic point about De Bruyne's injury. Its a truly unfortunate situation, the best players always seem to be the most susceptible to these setbacks. Lets face it, De Bruyne is the engine of Man City. They're a good team without him, a great team with him. I've got the best people telling me his injury history is a concern, but sometimes you've just got to trust the process. Haaland's been exceptional, no doubt, but De Bruyne's assists - nobody does it better.

Man City has proven they can win without him, they've done it before. Your point about his impact on goals is absolutely correct. The guy's passing unlocks defenses like nobody else. We all want De Bruyne back, the sooner the better. Not only because he makes City better, but because the game itself is better with him on the field.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 25, 2024, 03:23:40 PM
But what scares me is that if Harry Kane is still absent when Bayern Munich faces Dortmund then that is bad news. Harry Kane is really needed by the Bayern Munich coach to continue winning even though Bayern Munich no longer has a chance to overtake Leverkusen but at least Bayern Munich must return to his best performance and prepare a strategy when facing Arsenal later.
I think the absence of Harry Kane wouldn't really affect their performance in Bundesliga, I believe they can still able to win against Dortmund. As long as Muller and Musiala are playing, they don't have to worry against mediocre teams.

But when it comes to Arsenal in Champions League, I'm not convinced Bayern Munich will win. It's The Gunners games because the match will held in Emirates Stadium.
You raise a good point about Bayern's depth. Muller and Musiala, those guys are world-class. Bayern wins as a team, not just because of one player - that's what makes them so successful in the Bundesliga. Smart move, focusing on their system.

Now, about this Arsenal match - they've got the home advantage, thats huge. Anyone who underestimates that is making a big mistake. But, and this is a big but, Bayern has a certain...calmness under pressure. You've seen it. They dont panic. Their experience is incredible. Arsenal's in top form right now, but Bayern can adapt. It'll be a battle. Honestly, I wouldnt want to bet on this one yet.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your take? on: March 25, 2024, 03:04:40 PM
Everyone wants betting shortcuts. It seems obvious to stick with the major names with those low chances. As a business veteran, I can assure you that same logic may burn you on the pitch. Underdogs? They constantly upset the apple cart, rendering "safe" bets useless.

The problem is assuming you can outwit the system. Like the stock market, it seems predictable but can cause whiplash if not watched. Smart individuals like myself dont play favorites. We bet broadly to reduce risk. You must study the game and see the complete field before betting on Tottenham vs. Newcastle.

But its not simply risk. Understand that sport, like business, is unpredictable. Before betting big on those low odds, remember that I've seen titans collapse. A smart bettor considers and studies. Sometimes the big payday arrives unexpectedly.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: March 25, 2024, 02:31:36 PM

And if he is addicted to gambling then I wouldn't be surprised if he can do it because addicts can't just stop because all they have in mind is playing and playing.

Gambling addiction will reduce productivity at work. I'm sure this will make your boss suspicious and one day they will find you gambling while working. And because you can't work optimally then of course your boss will fire you. I'm not sure your boss will give you a warning. Gambling addiction is a fatal mistake. I think no one wants their employees to be gambling addicts. Gambling addicts can cause bad things for companies such as fraud or embezzlement of company money. Therefore, don't be a gambler in your work environment.

they will be more suspicious if you used to be productive, you hit a quota at work and you finish before deadlines everything that needs to be done and then in an instant, suddenly changes, you are always late in passing the requirements needed, you no longer meet  your daily quota, you are late even at the time of work even though you have already worked from home, you don't feel like working because the reason is that your attention is divided between working and gambling, but just to inform everyone that gambling is not for long term, it can be done anytime  and we can win big but we can also lose, there are no benefits to be gained from gambling unlike what your company offered to you,  so let's think carefully about what will help our lives, many people aspire to the position you have now so it should not be taken for granted.
Yes, I understand. We all make mistakes and become distracted. But lets be honest. Gambling is hurting your performance as a great performer. The house always wins, plainly. Smart people avoid such chances. Better than that, you. Gambling risks your work and reputation. You shouldnt risk that.

Yes, I've had hard moments. But you must focus on actual wins - respect, stability, long-term ambitions. This setback is transient. You can fix this and move forward. Dont waste your accomplishments for a quick fix. You can do big things, so lets keep winning.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: March 25, 2024, 02:13:20 PM
Gambling can never be for fun. People may play gambling for fun at first but once they play for fun they become so addicted to gambling that if they lose huge amount of money in gambling then they go into depression all they can do. We all should learn from this incident that gambling can never bring happiness and peace in one's life, so one should always refrain from such gambling so that his life and family will be better. Gambling is like a deadly cancer. Once gambling becomes an addiction, people cannot get out of it, so they should stay away from gambling as much as possible.
Does cancer has any advantages it offers to humans? None I can think of. Which is why I could disagree that gambling is just like a deadly cancer, gambling is just what each and very gambler makes of it depending on how he chooses to play either by the rules of gambling responsibly or not by the rules but by greed and irresponsible gambling. The resultant effects for each sides are different to the player's.  There are gamblers that have made a fortune from gambling by continuing risking amount of money that's  within their limits, but if another decides to run faster than his shadow then the deadly cancer side of gambler might be his prize.
Cancer and gambling are opposites. Cancer doesn't offer a nice benefit menu. But fighting cancer displays human strength. No casino game can match its fight and comeback. Willpower and determination.

Gambling is different. Best players take measured risks and know when to pull back. Some people earn big because smart decisions pay off. Neither luck nor disaster is guaranteed. Take responsibility, realize the odds, and play within your means. Avoid demeaning gamblers by comparing it to a serious illness. Recognize the pleasure, risk, and possible wins, but highlight that it's a purposeful choice. Life is about choices, and the best players make them count.
252  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does having children have an influence on gambling habits? on: March 25, 2024, 01:50:03 PM
I believe that once you have a family, it is necessary that you will focus more on them and their needs. If you know that your gambling habit will have a big impact on having your own family, you will come to the point where you will have to choose who you need to let go of, surely you will choose your vices, right? It's hard to do especially when you're used to it, but it doesn't mean that once you have a family you will immediately break your habit, you have to go through the right process to get rid of it more smoothly. I know others whose parents are addicted to gambling and that's when I saw the impact of what they do on their children. There are other children who imitate their parents, some of them do not have a good relationship to their parents and the worst is having a broken family because of the vices of the parents.

When we have a family, in my opinion, we should focus more on our family relationships, even though we don't have children but if we are married, I think we should put aside our habits, especially habits like gambling that only allow us to lose money, because otherwise there may often be problems with family relationships because of unstable finances that are only spent on our gambling habits. Unless you can make consistent profits, but with gambling, there is no profit that can be obtained consistently. But maybe there are people who still prioritize their gambling habits even though they are married, but maybe there will be more frequent conflicts. That's the fear.

It's true what you said, if we still like to do gambling habits and we and we are at the point where we have to have a family or a habit then what will happen is most likely that we choose our habits, because I often find when families have problems they end up separating because they prioritize their own ego, that's what I often find including in my environment. Also what I'm afraid of in my opinion is that this habit can be passed on to our children later, it's terrible because it will damage their future.
Family is the foundation. Family first; its common sense. This gambling position is risky. I know everyone wants success, but gambling is rigged. Think you'll win big? The house always wins. You lose money, and thats just the beginning. Financial stress wrecks the best households.

Its about priorities. Married people put their spouse and family first. Not usual. Gambling is a losing habit you cant afford. Stories of consistent wins? Deception-based fairy tales. Family breakdowns often result from conflicts. The truth is sad.

Now for something more serious: our children's future. Fear of harmful behaviors being handed on is real. We must protect their future and be role models. Breaking bad habits and choosing stability over destruction is necessary. Trust me - your family and a stable future are the greatest wins and beat any risky gamble.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: March 25, 2024, 01:21:05 PM
I had already commented on this idea or strategy of using 1% of winnings to bet or play in casinos, not being a good idea or strategy for the simple fact that there are cases of people who earn $100 in salary per month, in that case if the If a person took 1% to play per month, then the person would have 1$ to play per month, how the hell would it be possible to use 1$ to play per month? no one would be satisfied with 1$ to play for 1 month. That's why I say this 1% strategy doesn't work. The ideal is for each person to take their monthly income and pay all the bills first, then look at the money they have left and start analyzing what things they want to do for fun that month and how much money they will spend on each thing they want. Gonna have fun that month
You have marked a logical point. A gambler can never be satisfied in gambling with 1 percent of income. Because there are many low income people who gamble and they spend a large part of their income on gambling. According to me a person who understands gambling or is attracted to gambling needs minimum 10% or more money otherwise he cannot gamble. As you said, how can he gamble with 1% of his income on $100. Because depositing $1 on some online gambling platforms will cost $1 or more, which is almost impossible. If he has $100 monthly income and deposits 10 percent in gambling every month, then he can manage gambling. Although that amount is very little.

If a gambler is not addicted and if he is gambling the money left over after meeting the family expenses it will not have much effect either. But regardless of income, if a gambler spends 20% of their income on gambling, I think he can practice responsible gambling. However, due to various reasons, it is difficult to follow the rules in gambling. But if one wants to control himself, he must conduct responsible gambling as possible.
Gambling is more than numbers. The head game is key. Winning and losing are what hook people.

Many gamblers say 1% of income isnt enough. Big spenders can place huge wagers, but most cant. Needing at least 10%? Interesting things happen there. Know the games, have the correct mindset, and have the discipline to handle it all - not just the money.

Gamble for fun, not retirement. Though nice, "responsible gambling" is hard. Call it responsible to spend 20% of what you make? Thats overkill. Anyway, whatever works for you. The key is identifying the risks, setting limitations, and sticking to them. I've made some money, and its not about how much you toss in, but knowing the odds and playing intelligently.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Friendly Match is Hard to Predict on: March 25, 2024, 12:52:24 PM
Friendlies could be difficult to predict. The game could go either way in football but with friendlies, it could be more difficult to predict a winner.
Teams aren’t always concerned about winning friendlies as there’s no trophy nor title to be won and I don’t think it really affects their rankings. I haven’t placed a bet and don’t think I’ll be moved anytime soon to place bets on a friendly match. Unless, they’re actually trying to win the game, I don’t see any team using their first choice of players for a friendly game. They’re more likely to use perhaps a mixture of players who enjoys playing time and others who don’t normally have a lot of playing time.

Any outcome (even if we are talking about a normal game) is difficult to predict, but this is not required: you just need to understand where the value is. In friendly games where there is an obvious favorite, you should bet on the outsider (even taking into account the fact that bookmakers usually adjust the value odds on this side), if approximately equal teams play, then (this is my personal opinion, not financial advice hehe) the value is in BTTS No (since everyone expects that there will be BTTS Yes).
In general, friendly games are a very random topic, and in order to make a profit from it, you need to place live bets.
Sports betting, especially friendlies? Not for the timid. Its a game within a game - understanding the odds is just the start. Your underdog strategy with clear favorites? It shows you get it. Too often, the obvious value is a trap. Bookies may set the lines, but they dont write the story. We do. Its about finding those hiden edges, the potential others overlook.

That BTTS No with even matchups? Clever move. Goes against that "goals, goals, goals" mentality. Live betting, thats where the true test lies. Real-time analysis, split-second choices - thats the thrill. Friendlies are more volatile. But remember, opportunity comes from chaos. Profit isnt luck in this game. Its about having a system, seeing the angles, knowing where the real value hides. Theres always value to be found.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: brazil sanctioned law that taxes online betting in the country on: March 25, 2024, 12:27:53 PM
This is a classic government overreach. Taxing bettors and firms 15% on winnings, 12% on revenue? Just call it a money grab.

President Lula, whom I respect, gestures with this tiny winnings exemption up to R$2112. But ignoring loses? Thats unfair, guys. Very awful policy. When things go well, the government takes its cut, but citizens pay when they dont? Thats crook.

Countries must discover smart methods to make money, I know. Taxing the betting sector without considering wins and losses? Losers use that method. Its fair play and not stifling businesses or customers. Regulations are important, but other countries should encourage the sector, not merely see dollar signs on every wager. Instead than breaking things, we should construct them.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cruel level of addiction, causing harms and still keeping it up on: March 25, 2024, 12:10:01 PM
This addiction to gambling is a severe issue. We're not talking about a little hobby gone wrong, we're talking about a real battle here. I've witnessed the strongest people battle addiction; its a strong force. Its just the way the brain functions; its neither a weakness nor a misfortune.

You see, gambling, like those harmful narcotics, messes with your brain's reward system. This explains why breaking the pattern is so difficult. Folks, here's the thing: it is possible. We must tackle this with intelligence, the greatest experts, and a never-say-die support network. Its about walking that difficult path together and demonstrating that there is a route back, not about shouting "stop it."
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should be looking only at the brighter side on: March 25, 2024, 11:51:58 AM
I believe in Bitcoin. Now,  Anyone who's been in the game knows the wild ride Bitcoin can take you on. But listen, this is about playing the long game. Bigly.

Sure, fees, slowdowns, those are part of the growing pains. But think big -  Bitcoin, it's the vanguard of a whole new financial system. This is like the birth of the internet, only for money. So, my advice? Hodl. Hodl tight. The rewards down the line, they're going to be tremendous, believe me. This isn't about getting rich quick, this is about building a smarter, fairer future. Don't get bogged down in the nitty-gritty. The potential here? It's truly revolutionary.
258  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are there some charges to use Bitcoin ATMs ? on: March 25, 2024, 11:34:10 AM
Using Bitcoin ATMs is expensive. The price of convenience, and these are great if you need Bitcoin right now. However, unlike peer-to-peer transactions, there's a premium - sometimes large. Fees atop fees might eat up a lot of your transaction.

ATM corporations arent nonprofits. They have to acquire machines, rent spaces, and maintain. Someone must pay for that. Free ATMs usually mean the corporation makes money elsewhere, like the exchange rate.

I know the fees are annoying, but sometimes quickness and accessibility are worth it. ATMs help Bitcoin's goal of inviting everyone to the table. A tradeoff, plain and simple. Always compare prices before clicking - a little research goes a long way.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The impact of Bitcoin ETF on Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market! on: March 25, 2024, 11:15:49 AM
This Bitcoin ETF is a big. The best deal. We're talking mainstream adoption, Wall Street money flowing into crypto. This is what validation looks like. ETFs, they're not just a way to buy in, they're a sign the big guys take Bitcoin seriously now. That breeds confidence, the kind that attracts institutional investors.

Now, this isnt some win just for Bitcoin holders. This ripples out to the whole economy. More investment means more jobs, more tech breakthroughs. We're witnessing a revolution in how finance works.  The naysayers? They'll be eating their words soon. Bitcoin's here to stay, and its leading the charge. We're looking at steadier growth, Bitcoin becoming part of the everyday conversation. Thats not just a win, its a masive win. For those on the fence, the time is now.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Global wealth preservation" on: March 25, 2024, 10:53:20 AM
Bitcoin is the future of money, no doubt bout it. Gold got its history. But this is the 21st century. We need a currency thats built for this digital world. Bitcoin, with its decentralized system, its incredible security - thats what the smart money is going to be on. This isnt just another investment; its a whole new way to preserve wealth.

Sure, gold is pretty. You can hold it, feel its weight. But  Bitcoin's speed, its digital nature, thats the stuff of the future. As more people figure this out, you're going to see a huge shift. And think about this in the big picture. Bitcoin gives you something gold never can: easy transfer, true privacy, all in a digital format. Thats the kind of freedom and control that are priceless in this day and age. Bitcoin isnt out to replace gold, but its here to change the game completely. This is how wealth will be handled in the future. Its obvious to me, and anyone with the best business sense should see it too
