The difference between the top three teams in the the English Premier League table isn't different and while so many people are of the opinion that there might be a change of positions after the games that'll be played this weekend, I also think it'll not be wrong to call our attention to the fact that things might still remain the way they're currently after the weekend matches are played and I'll state my reasons below.

This is very normal because a lot of players get injured during the international break even though when they play with their team nothing bad happens even over a long period of time, it's bad luck that no one knows when it will happen and the international break is always a scourge. I have seen a lot of discussion regarding this important match, as we know most people favor Manchester City but beating Arsenal is not easy moreover, currently Arsenal is the most consistent team at least in the last 7 matches. I personally hope both teams play a draw so Liverpool can take advantage like what Arsenal did 2 weeks ago when Liverpool draw against Manchester City.

It is more than taking over the standings as Arsenal is leading the table anyway. But for Manchester City a loss would be a huge setback in the fight for the Premier League title. It would distance Arsenal from Manchester City by 4 points and a far superior goal difference. It would be nine games left. I know what happened last season and Arsenal could still become nervous and miss the opportunity. Sure, they would still have to compete with Liverpool and Manchester City wouldn't be fully out of the race, but it would be a huge step for Arsenal towards the title this year, at least in regards to the competition with Manchester City.

But Liverpool could be the big winner here if they tie the game and Liverpool now has two games in a row at Anfield Road and they could create maximum pressure for both Manchester City and Arsenal. The last games are quite doable for Liverpool and I think a long winning streak could be possible. But I assume it will remain excitingly close until the very end.

They are all still involved in their UEFA tournaments, so there is no advantage for any of the teams regarding exhaustion. Injuries could always become a factor, but that can't be reasonably anticipated.

This is why i don't like international break. It costs the club a lot of resources since many players were injured. Just like when guardiola must have missed kyle walker in so many important games. It was also giving very bad impact to the performance from city when it will be facing many strong clubs.
I think that club shall think wisely about this caused by it will be so bad if they are missing some good players when they are gonna face important matches like against arsenal or real madrid. Having walker is a very important point to keep it strong.

There are not a few disasters that occur due to international matches but it is also inevitable because after all for a player when they are called to defend their country in a competition then indirectly it is like a big achievement for them so they will definitely go all out in doing their job as a player.

Actually, things like this also depend on the players themselves because sometimes in some cases there is a situation where the player forces it even though his body condition is not fine but because he really wants to show that they are one of the players who have great loyalty to their country so they force themselves harder which actually leads to problems at the club.

We can take an example when Messi was at PSG but he actually went and forced himself to defend the Argentine national team even though at that time his condition was still not fully fit which made a lot of fans and even PSG itself a little upset about it or some time ago where Salah wanted to force himself to continue to defend the Egyptian national team even though his condition was in trouble which made things like this even bigger.
