1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gamblers do retired betting gambles on: January 26, 2024, 11:46:23 AM

As a gambler what do you think that should be the right time we suppose to leave gambling weather we are making profits or we are not making profits with gambling, because I know quite well that gambling whenever you are making profits you will wish to continue gambling unless that you run out of cash.

In my opinion there is absolutely no age limit on gambling, meaning that regardless of your age you are free to gamble as long as you have the money to bet, and the other thing is that as long as you really don't get into a lot of trouble as a result of your gambling activities then obviously it's up to you if you really want to continue gambling until death separates you from gambling. After all, gambling is just a place to have fun when you have boring free time, there are some people who choose to fill their time with gambling and some choose to fill their free time for other things, but if this gambling activity has a bad impact on you, or means that after you get to know gambling you more often experience a lot of financial problems then obviously it's time for you to stay away from gambling because in my opinion it is no longer about fun but rather leads to a lot of pressure, especially if you are already dependent on gambling in the sense that you absolutely cannot spend the slightest time not gambling.
Its true, right? Have fun at any age, and if gambling is your thing, great! I support personal freedom, especially in leisure time.

Its important to recognise the fine line between enjoyment and danger. I've seen hobbies become obsessions as a human behaviourist. Walking a tightrope is thrilling yet dangerous. You're right regarding finances. Gambling becomes unfun when it becomes a habit. The load is typically hidden until its too late.

This requires self-awareness and control. Recognising when a pastime harms you is admirable. As in any other area of life, gaming habits must be monitored. After all, retirement should be about fun and not stress and dependence.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another question? Tell me your average amount per bet and your monthly income? on: January 26, 2024, 11:30:10 AM
indeed we should not have to spend or deposit a lot of money on gambling because it is a dangerous thing for ourselves, I myself deposit my money with the budget amount and with the amount of bets that are set and I do it consistently, I gamble using 10% from the income I get monthly. because I think that amount is enough, as long as it is done consistently and with self-control, I try to meet the budget set for a month.

Enjoying gambling is indeed one of the keys, because of course I don't feel any emotions that trigger me to deposit more money than the budget I have set. and because if my monthly income is $500 then I think 10% is more than enough. That's why I don't put money back into gambling, and I know that gambling excessively will only ruin my life in the long run.
How about you?
You are right and I agree with what you say. Using 10% of the income we get is enough for gambling, and we can probably use that percentage for a month, and we don't need to deposit more money into the gambling account. The important thing is that we can stay within our limits and not try to increase the amount of money because that could disrupt our family's finances. With that percentage, I think if we don't gamble too often, there might still be some left over, so we won't use a lot of money to gamble.

I still try to limit my gambling activities and use limits on the amount of money I can afford. Like you, I also try not to deposit more money than that budget because I know it will only trigger me to gamble longer in each session so there is a possibility that I will experience more losses. Playing gambling excessively will indeed destroy our lives in the long term, especially with the risk of losing even more money and that is what we must avoid so that we can still enjoy gambling as entertainment.

but it also depends on the amount of income generated, but what I noticed from many people is that they don't set a budget for gambling, so they gamble by not looking at the budget even though I think setting a budget for gambling is important.  but indeed this also requires good self-control, because it requires good discipline because it could be that things that shouldn't happen actually happen because of the loss of self-control even if only for a short time that's right after all, if you do gambling too much  it's not good either.

That's true after all if you gamble too much, it's not good either In my opinion, gambling itself is not wrong but many people experience bad things and losses because they themselves view gambling wrongly  so what is bad is the gambling even though if they could gamble appropriately then everything would be fine,  including their image.  gambling that will not get many bad views We should be able to limit all things related to gambling, so that we will not experience big losses or even bad things.
Budgeting is crucial to right gambling. Balancing fun and financial responsibility is an art. Many gamble with a "go with the flow" attitude, which might have unforeseen results.

I think self-control is vital, which is hard to learn. Swaying too much on either side can cause a fall on a tightrope. Discipline is crucial here. Setting and respecting boundaries is key. Even a brief slip in control might have enduring effects.

Supporting fun Gambling encourages responsible play. Moderate and disciplined gambling can be fun. Redefining the narrative - gambling isnt evil; its the approach that matters. We can enjoy gaming without remorse by promoting budgeting and self-control.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: January 26, 2024, 11:13:39 AM
If he is a student and has no money other than depending on his parents then in my opinion the young man's actions are still wrong, what if one day he has no money and his pocket money runs out? And eventually asking his parents and using the money for gambling. Actually gambling is not wrong it's just that a student shouldn't do this activity before he is truly an adult and has his own finances and doesn't depend on his parents, so that as a child he doesn't add to the burden on his family as a result actions that ultimately hinder his future.

No thief admits they have stolen, but do you know if he has lied?? if parents realize that their money is decreasing every day, they should be suspicious of the loss of the money or it is better to keep the money in a safer safe or keep it in the bank so that their children cannot act recklessly or steal money just to gamble, because usually children during puberty can sometimes reckless to do whatever they want to do.
I agree that responsible gaming adds excitement to life. I think we can agree that a student dependent on his parents may not be ready to manage the intricate world of gambling. Age alone doesnt determine financial independence and emotional maturity.

Lying is a hard issue. As someone who's studied human behaviour, I think open communication is better than jumping to assumptions. Perhaps the boy needs budgeting and gambling advice? The value of money and risk against reward must be taught.

A supportive environment is crucial. Its vital to advise without judgement. Allow him to pursue his hobbies, but with responsibility. Remember, gambling may be fun with the correct attitude and circumstances.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do i handle my first gambling experience on: January 25, 2024, 06:07:17 PM
I am writing out of experience. My first time gambling, I lost during the first round. I injected more and more money into my bet to ensure that I recover what I lost. I didn't recover anything, I gambled until I had no money on me left. My first mistake was not sticking to my initial budget, it didn't occur to me that gambling is base on luck and that I could lose everything I have if I keep chasing losses. Do not make the mistake I made, walk into the casino with an open mind.
This is what the first gambling experience for most people, good for you able to wake up and not become a gambling addict. As long as the gambler didn't use an emergency money for monthly needs, it won't cause a problem to their life.
It's true, it is often the case that newbie gamblers take a considerable amount of time to realize that chasing losses only serves to exacerbate their addiction. Such behavior can lead them to make rash decisions, such as dipping into their savings, selling off assets, and in the worst-case scenario, incurring significant debts.
As long as they still make rational decisions, the chances of them being an addict will be low. I agree that newbies aren't prone on being addicted on gambling, they will be a casual gambler as they go until they experience a massive loss that they are desperate to reclaim it or having a massive win that they want to experience again. That I think will be the trigger for their slow process of addiction. The gambling addiction can cause them into making bad decisions that most of the addicted gamblers do and can possibly cause their life to sink.

Well, that's right, as long as gamblers can think rationally then it is clear that indirectly they will be able to maintain the right understanding along with the awareness that exists within them, seeing things rationally or from a point of view based on logic will be able to make a gambler know what is going on. what they should do and what they should not do when they are in certain situations, such as choosing to stop when they experience one loss to prevent a larger amount of loss and also choosing to stop when they succeed in getting a win and prefer to cash out, however this is a choice The best thing is recommended so that you can stay awake in gambling involvement and as you said indirectly this will make us a little further away from the risk of possible addiction.

On the other hand, in my opinion, it is beginners who are usually more vulnerable to entering the addiction phase because it appears that they do not have much experience and they are still very ambitious in their gambling activities, so this is what makes them vulnerable to addiction because they don't really know about the dangers of gambling. , and in my opinion lately more beginners are too focused on the chance of winning which indirectly makes them seem to ignore the possibility of risk and this is the reason why I say that beginners are more susceptible to ending up addicted, but on the other hand I'm just saying this for those (beginners) who have absolutely no true understanding of the concept of gambling.
Gambling is rational. Like being a ship captain, knowing when to sail and dock is vital. Beginners are more prone to addiction, as you say. They leap in without understanding how to swim. Typical eagerness exceeding experience.

Mentorship is important to me as a veteran. Imagine if experienced gamblers taught newcomers about game mechanics and psychology. This could improve gambling knowledge and responsibility. Sharing knowledge - not just to play the game, but to understand it - is key.

I think we need to create a culture where pausing is a strategy, not a loss. Like chess, sometimes the wisest move is to retreat and plan for the next game. Such a method may promote healthy gambling. Remember, gambling should be fun, and playing another day is part of that. All about balance, right?
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 25, 2024, 05:42:49 PM
There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

I asked him how?

He said when you keep trying luck every day you stand the chance not to miss your luck of winning, he also made reference to few people around our locality who won outrageous Money within 31 Dec to 1 January 2024, asking if I knew how often those people keep trying for them to have the winning they got.

I said No! He then say the more you space the more I missed my chances of winning but what I came to understand is that, the more anyone keeps trying the slimmer such persons turns into gambling addiction becus such person will always want to gamble regularly stirring up some forms of pressure to himself. When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

If you can control you addiction then gambling everyday is not bad but it depends on the individual involved and the amount he is using to gamble, just as you have mentioned already, gamblers don't believe in giving a break more especially chronic gamblers, there mindset us that when you don't gambler for a day, you might have lose an opportunity to win, but IMO I think gambling everyday can gradually turn you into gambling addict unknowingly to you, anything that you constantly do without a stop or control has automatically become part of you, to stop this act take discipline and God intervention.
Gambling can be pleasurable and harmless when done for fun rather than profit. You correctly identified self-control and awareness as the key. Knowing and respecting your limits is key.

The psychological idea that missing a gambling day means missing an opportunity is intriguing. The "sunk cost fallacy" occurs when our past investments (time, money, emotions) too strongly impact our future actions. Maintaining a good gambling relationship starts with recognizing this myth. Gambling is joy, not obligation.

Discipline and "God's involvement" Create a balanced lifestyle with gambling as one of several activities. Setting financial limitations, taking breaks, and finding delight elsewhere are essential. Gambling should be pleasurable not forced. Its a self-awareness and control path where joy and responsibility coexist wonderfully.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 25, 2024, 05:18:38 PM
I would say if they can afford him, giving him a chance wouldn't be all that bad, it would really give them a good chance to win something. They are doing better now, out of relegation zone and back in, they are still capable of just getting a few more wins and stay. if they had one more win this season instead of a loss, they would have been 12th place, so it is quite possible to stay.

The problem is whether Benzema wants to play for Lyon or not. Benzema already has a very high salary for playing for Ittihad. And Lyon is a club that is currently slumping in the League. Bringing in a player like Benzema is a very profitable scenario for Lyon. But we know there are several factors that make it difficult for that to happen. So I think what Lyon should do is recruit another striker who can improve their quality a little on the front line. At least a little better than now.
The Benzema-Lyon scenario sounds more like a fantasy than reality. Joining Lyon in its current state may be problematic for Benzema, who is still highly regarded despite his current form. Why would a top player join a poor team? It goes beyond money. Reputation and career prospects matter, and Lyon's current status is dire.

Lyon needs change focus. The little probability of obtaining Benzema seems pointless. They must be practical and find a striker who can boost their front line within their budget. They can find talent within their budget and status. Dreaming about Benzema is nice, but Lyon must confront reality.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: January 25, 2024, 05:02:39 PM
It is very easy to say this, but it is still quite difficult to be able to practice it and apply it to the gambling activities that we often do. and what is clear is that this is quite important and crucial, because this can help us manage risk in gambling.

I really agree with what you said, having limits and setting a budget when gambling is an important step so that our financial balance is maintained and also in preventing the risk of excessive losses that could occur in gambling. Apart from having to have limits and setting a budget, it seems we also need to set winning limits, namely by determining a fairly realistic profit target and after achieving it, consider taking a break from gambling activities and enjoying the winnings. Furthermore, don't forget to limit the time we spend gambling, because this can help us avoid addiction and ensure that the gambling activities we do do not interfere with other activities that are much more important than just gambling.

And even though we have previously set a limit on the budget we spend on gambling, when we don't have enough budget for gambling, it would be better for us to take a break from this activity until our finances return to normal, rather than having to take out a loan or use other important financial sources for gambling. Never act stupidly by spending all the money we have to be able to gamble.
Learning and applying it is very difficult and requires a strong effort to get used to doing what is necessary for gambling. But we still have to do that if we don't want to go too far in gambling and can still enjoy gambling games as entertainment. By practising this, we can manage the risks of gambling and not go too far in gambling.

By knowing what it takes to not go too far in gambling, we can prepare ourselves to prevent defeat after defeat and can also use gambling as entertainment that provides pleasure. Setting limits and a budget when gambling is a must so that we don't gamble beyond the limits to avoid losing a lot. We can also prevent the risk of losses, which could become greater with these limits because we will stop gambling if we have experienced several losses or won several times. But it is difficult if we set a winning limit because winning will not be easy and requires luck or good analysis to win. The important thing is that by having limits when playing gambling, we already know when we have to stop gambling and can leave the casino easily without any desire to chase wins or recover losses.

We also won't force ourselves to continue gambling, especially when we don't have enough budget and would prefer to rest and do other activities. We know that gambling is entertainment that doesn't need to be done too often, so we don't depend on gambling to get entertainment. We will do other things that can pleasure so that we can divert our minds from gambling for a while.

I like your gambling approach - its refreshing and important today. Budgets and constraints are strong. My quest to understand gambling self-control is similar. You seem to share my view that its a pleasurable hobby, not a means to an end.

Yes, setting a winning limit is difficult. Its like attempting to forecast the unpredictable, isnt it? Finding the discipline to stop after a few wins or defeats is crucial. Take charge of the experience rather than letting it dominate you. I keep reminding myself that gambling is about the experience, not the result.

Your opinion on gambling as amusement rather than the only source is smart. Diversifying our sources of joy and contentment is key. Like you, I balance gambling with other pursuits. It keeps gambling fun. Keep adopting this balanced approach to keep gambling entertaining and enjoyable.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another question? Tell me your average amount per bet and your monthly income? on: January 25, 2024, 04:24:51 PM
My monthly income is a personal matter that I would prefer not to share. When it comes to gambling, I tend to indulge once or twice a week, which is around eight times a month. My budget for each gambling is at least $10 to $20, depending on my available funds. This amount is enough to satisfy my gambling needs.

Yes I understand and indeed income is one of the things that is quite sensitive which of course not everyone can give the amount but maybe there are also those who say the amount but not exactly and maybe they only give an amount that is not too close to the exact number, for this problem it is up to each individual because we also understand that this is a personal matter that is more confidential, but it doesn't matter because maybe I can deduce how much you earn in a month from the amount of allocation you put on gambling. The point is I just hope we all have a good approach to gambling and become responsible gamblers by only putting the amount we can afford to lose, or in the sense of 3% - 5% of the total amount of our monthly income, because with this then we will be able to be calmer in gambling and can prioritize fun or entertainment rather than earning, and also on the other hand with small amounts then I think we are less likely to end up with impulsive gamblers. The bottom line is always be responsible and don't be too pushy if you don't have the budget for gambling activities, because after all there is no compulsion.
Income discussion is touchy, right? We tread cautiously, respecting everyone's privacy. Know that some issues, like money, are private. However, your gambling technique is unique and smart. Limiting our gambling budget to a tiny fraction of our income makes gambling fun rather than a financial strategy.

Deducting money from gambling habits is intriguing, no? The habit, not the number, is crucial. Responsible gambling requires discipline and keeping to your limitations. This strategy promotes a fun, healthy gambling relationship.

Balance matters. Gambling should add excitement, not ruin our finances. Your 3%–5% rule promotes a profit-over-pleasure mindset, which is excellent. Gambling is like seasoning - just enough can enhance the experience, but too much can ruin it.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout or wait till the end? on: January 25, 2024, 03:01:14 PM
I say cash that out.

Not gambling for profit or anything but money like that hardly comes by every time, so when you the opportunity comes for you to claim such amounts I say go for it and don't let it slip away from your fingers. I've seen someone in this gambling board and I really forgot his name but he's a cool guy who would bet on ludicrous amounts, win them, still think that he could do more, and lose everything. I say don't be like him cause unlike that person you're not gonna get enough money to support that kind of gambling lifestyle and money like what you're showing us right now is more than enough for a gambler to take off for a while without touching his account.

So yeah, opportunity comes once in a lifetime, capture it. Wins like these are good enough and if in the off chance that you could've won more it's still relatively better than if you have lost it all cause you're arrogant and you think you could win more by pushing your limits.

In my opinion, when you win at gambling, the best choice is to pour it in, because the gambler's big goal is a profitable win, but even so, it all depends on your own principles. If you really want to continue gambling with the aim of seeking the sensational pleasure you want, then there's no harm in continuing. the struggle even though he had already won. but the other side that must be taken into account is that the risk of losing everything that is owned and obtained must be accepted, because there are people who continue gambling when they have won but they cannot accept the reality of the defeat that occurred which lost everything that was owned and obtained. . that's a common problem.

but if we are gambling with the aim of winning then it's best to just cash out, because that is the best choice when we win, and as you said, opportunities don't come twice, so if you have won and it's really profitable then it's the best choice. is to cash it in, then after that take a break because I believe that gambling done by getting quite profitable wins triggers our own adrenaline, immediately cash out, go and enjoy the win.
Gambling wins and reinvesting them is a fascinating and personal decision. If gambling brings delight and the dangers are known, I've always thought its fine to keep going.

The possibility of loss cant be overlooked. My experience with both sides of this coin reminds me of gambling's delicate balance. The game and our restrictions must be respected. I think of it as a dance with chance - sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow, but you must always follow the rhythm.

I agree with cashing out after a win. Profiting at the right time is often better. Its about celebrating our win, enjoying our gamble, and then relaxing. I celebrate these times because they show our plan and serendipity. Taking a break lets us return to the game refreshed and possibly more enthusiastic. Its about playing responsibly and enjoying every moment.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be a hope restorer if we go about it wisely! on: January 25, 2024, 02:38:35 PM
Those stories do happen and it is true there are many people gambling because they are chasing those kind of wins to turn their life around, but this is also a rare occurrence, as the majority of those that are chasing those kind of wins will never get them, and instead they will lose whatever money they had left and make their situation even worse, and it is because of this that we often recommend that people should only gambling what they can afford to lose, because gambling more money than that usually leads to disaster.
There are many people playing a gambling not because of what you said but it's because they want a different kind of entertainment. Although don't worry because I know that a portion of these gamblers are doing it the other way around.

I think those gamblers already know that winning big can occur rarely but they are like an idiot to continue burning money in the casino. Didn't they know that there are still other ways to turn their life around? Maybe they know but they think it was hard, in a way that you need to exert a physical and mental effort. With this kind of thinking, they are also showing that they are lazy and only want an easy money.
Yes, we arent sharing up on the same idea or thing in mind on which it would really be just that  right that there would really be those people who are really hoping for those financial recovery when they hit some good wins in gambling but in overall or simply just being that sensible or realistic then it cant really be just that something easy to hit or gain through gambling. Basing up on the situation which it is really just that it turns out that
someone did been able to make themselves be able to hit up the right spot but what if not? You would really be keeping on playing just because you are hoping that you could really be able to hit up and able to recover
on whatever you have lost you do have in businesses.

For those people who do able to do so then luck is a huge or main factor on which we know that this isnt something that would be applicable to all or would really be happening into you.
This is why it would really be important that oyu should really be that realistic at least on what are the decisions that you are taking and on the things that you are dealing.
You cant really just make it happen just because your mind telling you to do so.
I understand; gambling as a fast remedy for money problems is frequent. We hear stories of the jackpot winner, giving us hope. We shouldnt kid ourselves - these stories are rare. Many have chased this goal and fallen further into misery.

Gambling should be fun, not profitable. Its important to have fun rather than solve money difficulties. There's always a slight chance of a large victory, but fortune is unpredictable. Luck is fickle - its here one minute and gone the next.

Remember to play slots and tables for fun with money you may lose. Enjoy the thrill, highs, and lows, but stay grounded. Find joy in the moment, not hope for a win that may never arrive. No matter the outcome, the finest gamble is one that leaves you smiling.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it looks responsible as woman telling husband you gamble? on: January 25, 2024, 01:55:06 PM
~snip~
I think that in every couple there should always be communication, there should not be any coverts or anything like that, things should always be that way , personally I am a person who also has his wife, has children , a nice family , but when she likes something that I don't, then I try to see something that doesn't negatively affect her life or mine or my children's , and if I see that they don't have any type of impact then I support her, I don't porbelma, things can be like that, now, if the rbelma is from a casino, and his way of playing, the first thing you do or what I would do would be to ask him the main thing, how much are you spending? because I see that if you are Spending a lot and without control, it will give you a couple of warnings , and that with money you have to be Careful , because it is very easy for you to fall into addiction if you do not have the Required control , it is something that Sometimes people cannot control , but they must.

In this case things must always be shown in the correct way, inventions cannot be made with money, expenses in a casino must always be minimized so that the chances of winning can be increased, if we do not have the total understanding of how You should behave in a casino, it is better not to do it, it is better to lose help, as I have always said, if there is no money willing to lose in a casino, it is very easy to lose control, waste all the money you have at a time, and look for more to be spent again, and that is in accordance with the emotions, the impulses and with everything that has to do with good play, so every time we play or our partner plays, it would be good to tell him to play in our presence and see how he behaves with money, and if he puts money willing to lose or not, and how he reacts to basic decisions, based on this, it is the easiest way to determine his style and where the mistakes.
Yes, there must be communication between husband and wife so that they do not misunderstand. Most problems in the family arise because of misunderstandings and a lack of honesty about what has happened, which makes them feel suspicious of their partner. This must be resolved immediately so that it doesn't become a problem that could cause them to experience even more complicated problems. By discussing the problem well, husband and wife will clear the air so that misunderstandings will disappear and they can live their lives well. When a problem is hidden, one partner can feel it so that he will ask his partner about it. If his partner is not honest with him, he will know, which usually triggers the problem. And if the problem can hurt their family, the husband and wife can immediately find a solution so the problem doesn't get bigger.

If one of them gambles, it would be better for his partner to know about his gambling activities so that he can control the use of his money, especially if he sets aside a small portion of his income to allocate funds for gambling. After all, gambling requires money, and if they are husband and wife, there is a possibility that they will use the money for their family, so if they don't really monitor their use, it could be more than they imagined. His partner can always remind him to stay within his limits and not exceed what he can afford so that there is no unnecessary use of money just for gambling. However, if their partner has started crossing his limits and still thinks he is fine, the husband or wife must act immediately to save him from crossing his limits. After that incident, he and his partner can discuss how to proceed with their gambling activities, and if they feel that gambling will only hurt both of them, maybe they need to stop their gambling activities and leave gambling forever.

It is very true that things should always be focused on good communication, there is no other way, things are always like that, for us to be okay with everything we have to do things well, and every time we are in a possible argument with our partner try not to raise your voice or anything, because things should be settled in the best way without getting upset, rather a debate, because one's partner is who one is always with and that is the only thing that matters, so if one If both of you are in danger with the game, what the other should do is help you, if necessary you should go with your partner to the casinos and see how you play, how you can play, win, lose, all this, then because These things must be done well, therefore it is something that will always be generated, the best thing of all is that they can help each other, there is no other way.

Now, for this, your partner must understand, that sometimes things are like that in casinos, which should help prevent them from falling into an addiction where both are affected, because if in the couple one of the two is wrong Well, the other must be there to give you their support, that's the most common, and the most normal thing, so in that way you can help, as we here have a little more knowledge about this casino, because it's easier to give advice about the game, the first thing I would tell you is that you have money, only use the money that you are willing to lose, there is no other option, because you can't do anything if things go to another level, we as good players and people with experience we must do everything possible so that things go well and thus protect our partner, because there is nothing stronger than falling into an addiction, that is the worst, I could say that things like this are more difficult easy to treat, which is why Support is something that Should be given immediately and without much thought.

Its important to stay calm in emotional circumstances like gambling. I think a supporting partner is crucial in a casino. The important thing is supporting each other, regardless of the outcome.

I recommend making a budget before entering the casino because I value financial advice and emotional support. One basic yet successful method is to only gamble what you can lose. This strategy protects your finances and promotes a healthy gaming relationship. Take pleasure in the game without allowing it dictate your relationship.

Finally, helping a gambling partner is admirable. Equally crucial is recognizing addiction symptoms. Taking preventative measures can avoid many problems. Be transparent about gambling and ready to get help if things go wrong. Gambling should be fun while being responsible.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a social or casual good guesser make better gambling prediction carrier? on: January 25, 2024, 01:36:55 PM
Don't stress yourself, there is nothing anyone can say that will make me change my mind about luck in gambling, I still stand strong with my fact that gambling is straight out luck, there is nothing that can change this, mind you why not try it out first before discussing it?

If guessing really works or can work in gambling you should try it out and drop your experience on this forum, people will probably believe you more, guessing about people is different to gambling, you can see those people, and its a fact that people are readable, some people are very good at reading people and be able to figure out what they are planning.

It's not the same with gambling, you are completely on your own and what happens next doesn't depends on you, casinos and gambling have been operating since the beginning of time, if there is really a way to beat casinos it would have been found already, the reason why it's not found is because there is no way to beat luck, so therefore it can't be found, because it was never lost.

getting lucky is a one in a million chances, this is why casinos wins more than gamblers, they are not at big risks like the gamblers, gamblers are the ones trying to beat the impossible not the casinos.
Gambling is unpredictable, thus luck is crucial. However, some games require skill. Poker and blackjack require strategy, right?

Of course, I've played these games for pleasure. I found it fascinating because decisions can influence the game even if you cant control the cards. The goal is to maximize odds, not beat the casino. A delicate tango between chance and decision.

Your point about casinos always winning is correct! Thats their design. What if gambling was entertainment rather than a business? Like going to the movies, you pay for the thrill and experience, not a guaranteed return. Enjoy the voyage and hope for a lucky break!

Without Salah, Liverpool still advanced straight to the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea. The Kop have reached the final match of the Carabao Cup for the 14th time, at least four times more than any other team in the entire history of the tournament. They are also the most successful club in the Carabao Cup, with 9 cup wins. They are facing the opportunity to increase their achievement to 10 when they are only 1 match away from the title. The opportunity to win four, including the FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League, and Premier League, continues to be open to coach Jurgen Klopp and his team. Will this season, a more pragmatic and practical Klopp's Liverpool achieve the achievement of winning many crowns?
Its not really good result for Liverpool without Mohamad Salah, first match in Premier League Liverpool won bigger score without Salah over 4-0 but second matches in EFL Cup semifinal they have got draw. But advantage for Liverpool won on first leg match and qualify to final match against Chelsea after winning aggregate 2-1.
Seems Mohamad Salah will absent for several weeks later after latest confirmation from Jurgen Klopp Salah got serious injury with his national teams, Liverpool has many crucial match next month not only in premier league but also have to play in Europe League and without Salah will make them loss bigger opportunity for winning all matches left.
Liverpool's performance without Salah worries me. As a vital player, his absence is felt. However, this team has caught my attention. They're tenacious and a winner. Remember beating Arsenal without Salah? They were strong as a team, not just one star player.

Not having him in the forthcoming matches is concerning. Liverpool's Premier League and Europa League schedule is challenging. Their test is coming. Klopp and the team have my trust. They consistently meet challenges. Although they lack Salah, they have depth and quality. How they'll handle these critical matches intrigues me. The team's morale will also benefit when Salah returns.

Girona, the strongest team in Laliga at the moment, has to bear the shame because in the Copa del Rey when playing against Mallorca, Girona suffered defeat, it seems that in this match Girona must bear the shame. Sometimes I also don't understand Girona's strength, why they had to lose against a team whose ranking is currently much different from Girona's in Laliga. but yes, the name of the match is of course something that is difficult to predict and sometimes the strength of the players always fluctuates.

I think Michel should be able to make Girona's players even better, but as a result of losing to Mallorca, Girona has now failed to get to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey. However, Mallorca's match against Girona Gironawas still superior in terms of ball control. So in Girona's match against Mallorca in the Copa del Rey this time Mallorca got lucky and Mallorca will definitely be proud of being able to beat the strongest team in Laliga and now Mallorca has advanced to the semi-finals in the Copa del Rey. I think we deserve to congratulate Mallorca on their success against Girona.

Yes Girona has been playing very well in La Liga and has always held the top position of the points table, beating Real Madrid. Their performance seems to be much weaker than Real Madrid Barcelona. But when it came to the Copa del Rey, they lost to Mallorca in the quarter-finals. Girona finally scored a goal in the 90+6th minute otherwise they would have won the match by 2 goals. But the latest goal has saved them some respect. Some decisions were wrong in their game. Due to which they hit the ball but could not give a successful goal finish. Mallorca played very well and achieved great things by winning their quarter-final match
Girona seems to have started to lose concentration and in my opinion, sooner or later Girona will definitely experience a setback and not be able to win the La Liga title which is dominated by Real Madrid and Barcelona so that Girona may only be able to occupy the runner up position or at least in 3rd place, but even so it looks like they can still secure UCL tickets so that Girona fans won't experience significant disappointment because their team failed to win the title, but because Girona still has a chance to win the title, I hope they don't give up halfway and can return to their impressive performance in beating La Liga teams. .
Girona has been impressive this season, as I've followed them. However, Girona's chances of winning La Liga are slim given Real Madrid and Barcelona's strength and history. They shouldnt be written off yet. They've shown play that might land them a top ranking or the title.

Recent loss may feel like a blow, but I consider it as a short setback. They've shown perseverance, and their present standing makes them a strong Champions League contender. Maintaining such attitude and consistency in their remaining games is key. Girona fans should be optimistic - their team has done them proud and could go further.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 25, 2024, 12:44:22 PM
Inter Milan performance this season in Serie A is so impressive that they were able to win 16 matches and only suffered one defeat. Inter Milan also managed to secure a trophy in the last two days after they were able to beat Napoli in the Italian Super Cup final. So their quite impressive performance will automatically make them more confident in the Champions League this season. Inter Milan is highly regarded in the Champions League this season because they were the runner up team in the previous season. Inter under the coaching of Simone Inzaghi was successfully polished to become the strongest team in the Champions League this season.

Even though teams representing Serie A are often underestimated, I think other teams should see the progress made by teams representing Serie A in the Champions League. Martinez succeeded in bringing Inter Milan to win the Italian Super Cup trophy and he is determined to bring Inter Milan back to qualify for the Champions League final this season. Inter Milan front line has been very aggressive in scoring goals this season, they have quality attackers and are also supported by their strong defensive line.
Inter Milan has appeared impressive and consistent so far in Serie A because they have won 16 matches, 3 draws and 1 loss in 20 matches so Inter Milan is still the favorite to compete for the title. In Serie A, Inter Milan only has 1 big competitor, namely Juventus, but in terms of productivity, Inter Milan is superior to Juventus, even though currently Juventus is in first place, it does not rule out the possibility that Inter Milan can take over that position in the 21st match week.

With their impressive performance, of course, it will increase Inter Milan's self-confidence and they will prove to people that representatives of clubs from Serie A cannot be underestimated because we can see last season where Inter Milan competed with Manchester City in the race for the Champions League title even though Inter Milan failed to get it but Inter Milan was able to successfully reach the final in the most difficult competition and become runner up.

I don't think the Serie A is a good indicator of Inter Milan strength although it shows something.I think the fact that Inter conceded 3 goals in a single half when playing against Benfica showed quite some big vulnerabilities in their defense which they need to fix or at least greatly improved or it will be very difficult for them.I think they will qualify for the next round but from there on I am not sure if they will be capable of moving forward like they did last year when they reached the final.
Despite Serie A, Im apprehensive about Inter Milan's UCL chances. Their domestic record is solid, but that Benfica game showed their weaknesses. Three goals in one half are a major issue for their defense. A red flag indicates that this isnt just a terrible day. Unlike Serie A, the UCL has a different level of competition, and better teams will exploit your flaws.

Still, Im optimistic. The season's performance gives me optimism for Inter. They've demonstrated they can perform well, and if they make defensive improvements, who knows? They could beat last season's results. Big if. They must focus on such weaknesses to advance in the UCL.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: January 25, 2024, 12:28:20 PM
Given your situation, I'd be curious but cautious. Introduce someone to sports betting, especially if they like sports, seems interesting and fascinating. His activity would be more exciting with it. Giving a painter new brushes adds dimension without affecting their interest.

Betting, whether on sports or slots, carries its own set of challenges, particularly financial ones. I would explain that sports betting involves strategy, luck, and game knowledge. Responsible gaming should be seen as entertainment rather than a source of money.

To gauge his passion and knowledge, I'd probably start a casual football conversation. Sports betting might replace slots if he's interested. I'd emphasize setting limitations and not expecting constant wins. Not to replace gambling, but to make the game more fun. Your advice may be a nice nudge toward a more joyful gambling experience since you see him often.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: January 25, 2024, 11:59:15 AM
~snip~
Not really, because there are people who try to make gambling their job, and they think that gambling is something they should prioritize. They will gamble more often and will use more money even though that doesn't guarantee they can win. Yes, they can become addicted because they often gamble, and it will be risky for them, so they should rethink making gambling their job. There are still many other things that can be used as their work and they can still look for jobs that can make money. It will be better for them because they can get a good career in their job so they can earn more money. Those who want to make a career in gambling can think about becoming an employee at a casino so that it can provide income for them.
But all of this is quite fatal mistake, they are not getting monetary profits but losses which could be even worse, leading to destruction and unfortunately there has been no awareness until now before they are truly at their lowest point, namely destruction.
Making money from gambling is very possible, but in context like this, not being gambler, but rather business person or building gambling site, this will cost lot of money, but if it is successful, the profits cannot be calculated.
Just look at the more and more gamblers are experiencing ruin and the casino business people are getting bigger and bigger in making profits, the mindset of gambling in making money and priorities should be removed from the minds of gamblers.
This is not just about money but also about survival and psychological health problems that can easily become disturbed, they will be like people who have lost their way in life if all these problems have occurred.

We here have often given the same ideas and discussions and it will always be better to be businessman or professional worker so that can get consistent results, then gambling is just place to find entertainment and make feel happy.
I've always thought gamblers should be informed, not desperate for luck.

Like playing a computer game, you invest for enjoyment and thrills, not profit. People gamble responsibly when they realize this. Gambling business is lucrative, but it comes with risks and responsibilities. A website isnt enough - you need to create a safe, fun atmosphere for responsible gaming.

Responsible gaming with enjoyment and amusement is my preference. This strategy promotes mental wellness and life balance. Knowing your limits, playing within them, and enjoying the game as enjoyment is key. Life's too short not to have fun, right?
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: January 25, 2024, 11:42:21 AM
Yes, we should be prepared to lose the money we bet on gambling, because that will determine the future. because in my opinion, many people who gamble unprepared will lose the money they bet, causing them to lose self-control which leads to gambling more than they can afford. I would be very happy if my income was that big, but I don't get the amount you mentioned per month, so I just gamble as much as I can, don't think about continuing to gamble in order to win, because that will only kill me.

I agree with you, because it seems like there are people who have thoughts like that, they gamble to double their finances, actually that's not wrong, but what you have to pay attention to is that the chance of losing in gambling is more dominant than the chance of winning, so it's completely wrong. will make a profit even with those who bet big, because the gambling company will not care about our situation, even if our goal is to double our money to cover financial problems, the gambling company will not look at that. and as you said, thoughts like that shouldn't be better just get rid of them, in order to avoid small problems that can become big.
If we decide to gamble, we should think about the risk of defeat and the risk of losing our money, and we must be ready to accept whatever outcome will happen to our gambling, whether it is winning or losing. If you win, don't ever be greedy to continue your game and exceed your spending limit, such as more than 1%, because what is there is not that you will profit more, but you can lose your winnings because you are too greedy, but if you experience defeat, you must also be ready to accept it and not trying to catch up on the loss.

We live in an era where all basic necessities are expensive, in contrast to the past when everything was still cheap, so people are flocking to get more income from their fixed jobs, namely by gambling, hoping that gambling can generate profits to supplement their living needs, even though they shouldn't think so. gambling as a job because it is very risks, they will only increase the burden on their lives because their living needs are reduced and they will also lose money quickly due to making gambling as a side job.

I agree with you, if we do gamble then we should be prepared for the risk of losing the money we bet on gambling and whatever the amount is a percentage of our income, if we have made a deposit then it means we have to be prepared for the risks involved. I myself have implemented this, because in my opinion, if we gamble but are still afraid of losing the money at stake then it is likely that we will chase losses that have already occurred, and in fact this is not recommended, if you have already lost then stop and come back another day to try your luck again Also in my opinion, if we bet with 1% and lose that amount, I don't think it's a big problem,  but a big problem occurs when we are greedy with the gambling we do.

it makes sense, also with the lifestyle that demands some young people today, they have a high sense of pride and are looking for alternatives to earning money through gambling, and they shouldn't do this, because gambling will only make them miserable  even though there are opportunities to win but that doesn't mean it will always be obtained. It's true, gambling like making it your main job is very risky  because the income you get is not clear,  it's different from physical work with that we will get a salary that is clear in terms of amount and time. they have to distinguish between what is true work and what is for entertainment.
Moderation and knowing limitations are key. I gamble with a little amount of my money to balance excitement with prudence. Both money and expectations must be managed.

Chase loses is a profound topic. Sometimes I've learned the hard way that the best response to a loss is to contemplate and return the next day with a new perspective. Its discipline and shows how important emotional control is in gaming.

I understand the younger generation's drive for rapid wealth, but gambling is not the answer. In this topic, we should promote gambling as a hobby, not a career. Its important to distinguish between work and recreation. Gambling is fun when seen as entertainment, not a lifeline. With this perspective, we can enjoy gambling as an enjoyable, occasional pastime.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: January 25, 2024, 11:24:51 AM
We have been introduced to a lot of things but still, we only choose to do the things we like, which means we also enjoy being in that situation.

Being an adult means being accountable for our actions. By this, no one can be blamed for our actions as we have grown to decipher what suits us or not. This is also related to gambling. People gamble because they want to gamble and not because they are lured to gamble.

Before I started gambling, I had a friend who was deeply into gambling and he has always tried to talk me into gambling because I am a sports lover. Most times when we discuss he throws up gambling discussions and even ask me about my opinion on certain games just to get my analysis and follow my prediction. Sometimes he wins and other times he loses. All his efforts to make me gamble were futile.

I gained an interest in gambling on my own when I felt that I could be making extra cash from it. In summary, nobody should blame another for losing in gambling because he wasn't forced to play under duress. Thus, every gambler should be accountable for his actions.
We follow our views, goals, and assessments, not external influences.

I've seen friends gamble too. Some jump in headfirst, drawn by the thrill and possible benefits, while others, like you, think strategically. Gambling reveals our values and decision-making processes, which is fascinating. Our individuality and self-discovery tale continues with each win or setback.

Your conclusion is correct: blaming others for gambling results denies our agency. Gamble for fun, profit, or the thrill of it - our choice. This awareness enhances our experience and promotes personal responsibility. We learn, adapt, and most importantly own our journey.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 24, 2024, 03:51:38 PM
Girona is one of the new forces in La Liga, their impressive performance is of course not something that happened by chance, but they have made quite good preparations from various angles. I think Girona will become a new force in the long term because this team is a team that is part of the City Football Group where they have a majority stake.
They have a beauty season and are making a lot of impression in La Liga but it is too soon and not enough to say Girona already or will become a new powerful source in La Liga.

I don't know what ranking will be an ending one for Girona but to become a new powerful force in La Liga, they will need to have some good seasons. Girona will have a difficult summer next months and I don't believe they will be able to keep their best players after the summer transfer. If they lose best players, we can easily imagine how Girona will play in a next season.
I agree with you that Girona will lose some of its best players because Leicester City lost their best players after they won the Premier League trophy. Girona is one of the best clubs in La Liga this season, and if they continue being consistent, they will qualify for the next season's UEFA Champions League, which will be a great achievement for them.

When a team performs well, then definitely different clubs comes to hunt for their players so with the kind of impressions that Girona have created in the la Liga, if they are fortunate to win the league title then they might actually lose some of their players to other clubs that finds quality and professionalism in their players. Girona's performance in the la Liga this season is wonderful therefore if they maintain their consistency and possibly win the la Liga, it's gonna be a huge achievement for the club in it's history.

Girona took everyone by surprise this season as no one saw them going this far in the la Liga considering the fact that they were just promoted from the Spanish la Liga 2 to the major la Liga just about 3 years ago and they've actually came back to revenge their relegation when they were initially promoted to the la Liga in 2017 but were relegated after just two seasons, so this time they seem to have been more stronger to the extent of becoming this season's la Liga title contenders.
Most La Liga clubs have played their 21 matches in the league this season, and Girona is topping Madrid, which is in second place in the La Liga table, but if Real Madrid wins their outstanding match, they will top Girona with a 2-point difference. Even though Giron doesn't win the La Liga trophy, other clubs will still come for their good players because Girona has been performing well this season, and they only lost to Real Madrid this season.
Girona at the top - isnt it exciting? This season, they've done well, especially against Real Madrid. Madrid does have a game in hand and can overtake Girona if they win, but Girona has had a remarkable ride. They proved themselves on the field even if they dont win La Liga.

Overall, Girona's success is about more than their current position. Their tenacity against Real Madrid is impressive. Its about reputation as well as league title. They could qualify for the Champions League next season if they keep this form. Their accomplishment is well-deserved.
