This huge success is a result of great work, it can only be achieved by working hard, making numerous research and posting meaningful things related to Bitcoin, I am motivated by your achievement and my zeal to learn and do better has increased. You must have been consistent and brave to get to this height now, bravo.
I always like to have statistical comparison that helps us to evaluate the situation in more detailed way.Like we all see this thread about his growth but see how much he has grown on the forum within short span of time and still growing and that's only with his dedication and zeal to share his bitcoin and other crypto related knowledge with us.

On 15th April he attained 9000 merits and as of now he is at 9619 merits which means he has gained 619 merits in only 54 days which is surprising because you can be Hero member from scratch and will only be lagging activity for the same so he is good at this and well deserved to him.

But i have said previously also we need to focus on how this is possible? Go through his post history and you will find out long threads explaining about bitcoin and other economical aspects related to it helping members on the forum which is why he has merits on his profile.I would say it's possible not easy as you have to be dedicated and spend your time enhancing your knowledge over these topics and then make your contributions to it.

Although we all have different ways and you could have slow growth in comparison to him but you should not loose hope and continue your way but it must be productive and effective for the forum as well as you that will help you to grow on the forum with merits on your profile. So keep your work high and hopes less and results would come eventually to you.

^  It would be cool if there was like an RLB store where you can buy Rollbit merch, convert it to non withdrawable cash bets for the site or even giving it the ability to bid for NFT's that were minted in house at Rollbit...  Pokerstars had a cool points system and frequent player points store back in the day that made those FPP's good as cash as you can convert them to tournament tickets, cool items in the store like travel tickets from Expedia and even a Porsche.  I have yet to see another gambling site have something as good be it fiat or crypto.
Actually you can create your own NFT lootboxes in which you can have your own minted NFT that you want to sell and if other players win that Rollbit will buy it from you to transfer it to winners portfolio. They have more utility like you can open these boxes with filters and low amount also which state percentage of winning also like you can win $RLB tokens out of some or these big NFT's like BAYC or any listed on opensea and if not the equivalent cash amount will be transferred to you. This is amazing as gambler and if lucky we could also be the one.

If it doesn't have any SSL/TLS or only HTTP, not HTTPS, which is more known. Then anyone who monitors the network can see whatever data is being sent, including ISP, governments, NSA, Hacker, or any adversaries you can name.
As far as I know, highly sensitive data may only be transmitted between different parties via extra-secured data channels, and in addition to HTTPS - which is of course mandatory - separate encryption and certificates are also used or, in extreme cases, must even be transmitted offline. I don't know exactly what this looks like at Roobet, but it would of course be very interesting.
Maybe end to end encryption channels are used but if the government are interested in having those data they will impose many restrictions in order to have that data but i think Roobet has previously also stated that your data is safe with them and not shared with anyone.Security protocol must be followed but we should be careful at our end also.

Badges have been applied! Yes, badges. Plural! Talked with theymos and decided to share the bling between the first three places, that's five people in total.

As mentioned before, the badges are temporary, with the first place being less temporary.

Here's the shiny new badge:

With the BTC prize and badges awarded, this concludes this year's Bitcoin Pizza Day contest!

Thanks to theymos for sponsoring the event, alanst for designing the custom badge, Solosanz for providing stats and everybody that helped and participated with this event!
See you next year! In the meantime Bitcointalk Partyyy!
The badges look cool and i wonder those who are unaware about it are going to be puzzled little bit that what's that shiny pizza badge on these some unique profiles  Grin but this summons up this year's pizza contest and successfully for third year on a row.So i would also congratulate you @Cyrus for organizing this whole thing and bringing up these events for our community.

For sure the next year preparation are on by this year's pizza King @fillippone and many others also. Will join you all next year for sure. Wink

When Bitcoin will go up enough, I will use those 5mBTC to pay a pizza for the whole Italian Board.

This is a life achievement I definitely put in my bucket list.
How much price upward trend you will wait for the Italian community to have that pizza  Grin Hope they get their party soon from you and we all enjoy the bitcoin bulls back on the streets.
1666  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 24/03/2022 on: June 08, 2022, 08:31:24 AM
There are some more records above in the same category and it's surprising to see more members having these same numbers these days. But this is sign of progressive growth for them and forum having some potential members is good.
Very good growth to continue to record here, I see many people continue to achieve with good merit this is proof that they have made a good contribution in the forum.
As you said I just want this thread to keep growing to keep logging it.  Cheesy

Currently there are four records that I catch with round numbers for merit.
This is a rare sight.  Shocked
Yeah sometimes you get attached to a particular task and saving some merit records in this thread is becoming one of my favourite things from few time so just whenever i see a record save it here.

But I think you are tracking members minutely with whole lof of bots and computer setup(just kidding) to screenshot these records as fast as you can and doing really a great job in this case.

Just in the morning i saw @Charles-Tim with 2700 merits and thought of saving it here but see you have already beaten me to it and surprisingly there are additional three more records that you have saved here.
1667  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Reasons I Trust Binance for my Crypto Storage on: June 07, 2022, 12:37:15 PM
It would have made some small sense to make such a topic in 2011, even though it were still just as wrong back then too. But it makes no sense to still say the same thing and use "centralized exchange" and "security" in the same sentence when we have had lots and lots of cases where the CEX scams its users whether at a large scale (like shutting down completely and never giving users money back) or selectively at a smaller scale (like Bittrex that scammed about 20% of its users and stole their money).
People don't tend to understand these terms and for them Binance is safe because it has security protocols like 2FA and their well built system but still they are diluting the whole purpose of decentralisation with involvement of these CEX for their funds.

Not your keys not your coins is well known phrase for all of us in this crypto space but still there are lot of users who stores their funds in these exchange without even realising the fact how risky is it as the exchange has your keys and they store funds  on your behalf and what if they change their mind and try to scam you ? Your funds are gone and you can't do anything after that.

The hacks are well organised on these exchanges and the other part is their KYC factor as you are revealing your identity to them and that also with restrictions. They act like central banking over your funds asking for lot of things under AML policy but they all are government puppets wanted to have full track of their users. If not submitted your account is freezed and you are locked out of funds as practically the funds are in their custody with keys to it.

Binance might have said they will repay customer funds in case of bankruptcy contrary to what Coinbase has said but still avoiding them is best option as funds are not safe at all in any manner over these CEX.
1668  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Game Of The Week 🎰 Lots of FREE SPINS 😉 on: June 07, 2022, 10:56:43 AM
I’m never gonna decline free spins Cheesy

Drill That Gold is a really addictive slot so happy days that it’s Game Of The Week. I don’t need any extra encouragement Grin

Good luck guys.
Yeah same reaction for all the gamblers that don't want to miss any free spins knowing the fact that how much they can gain from each if they are lucky and yes Twitter reactions also say people are addictive to this particular slot and are ready for the game of week to try their luck and have some free spins while Bitcasino brings in such exciting game rewards for the community.
1669  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 07, 2022, 10:46:00 AM
^  Yeah...  And you mostly win back the money you pay for those loot boxes in RLB tho.  Which is pretty good since you can stake them in the 'lottery' which is another good way of putting it.  And smart tbh.

And this is just me, but I think with how good the site is, RLB could be one undervalued token.  It could be a good idea to start acquiring some during the bear market.  The chart doesn't really look good atm but give it a few months or so...  Don't fade.
They will be adding more utility for the token and then prices will go up not with insane pumps as token usage is limited to the players at this time but they will be planning about it's expansion with project scope so yes you could be right in accumulating some at cheap to gain some more benefits in the long run.
1670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wrong foot on bitcointalk on: June 07, 2022, 10:35:16 AM
<…>
The thing is we all joined the forum at different times and we all were introduced to it in many context as per our requirements and most of us were bounty hunters if speak for myself also in the past but with time everything changed depending on how you want to see it.You have realised your mistake early and want to move towards learning on the forum and it's best decision you have made.

This forum is like a big library where abundant knowledge resources are available but you just need to look for them rising from these bounty campaign on the forum which will help you gain nothing.See i am saying from personal experience as well as from members here that most of these bounty are scams or will pay you some tokens that will get dump as soon as they get listed because owners and whales have dumped them so you have worthless tokens on your address which will be dead in few time.So it's better to leave them.

You are on the best learning forum about bitcoin and crypto market as whole and can learn lot if you are dedicated about it as there are many newbies who had made it possible are now high rank members on the forum in short span of time guiding others here and IRL also.So best is Mastering Bitcoin by Andreas and his YouTube channel

From here you will have plenty of idea about bitcoin working technically and forum is always there at your help like these threads by @fillippone

So best wishes you and will see how you progress on the forum.

I played around with Telegram bounties and airdrops for some weeks, and came to finding it tremendously boring, on the verge of being demeaning. It was right at the beginning, when I experimented here and there with ICOs, some airdrops, and a few bounties as mentioned. All pretty much a waste of time, and it didn’t take long for me to move away from all that. Part of the learning curve when landing on a new terrain …

The fast you realise this fact that bounties are just waste of time it's better for you and me personally can't handle submitting tonnes of reports for my weekly work on social media which will at end have no value. The airdrops were at one point of having your personal information and using them on dark web giving away you some fake tokens which are listed at zero value. So we all have also tried to investigate it though participation but realised it's waste and shit work to do.So instead do some productive work enhancing your knowledge on the forum and taking part in knowledgeable discussion is lot better for personal growth.

Saving my first perfect four figure merit record here (1111) before someone ruins it, lol Smiley
Good to see the four one's on your record but sorry for ruining it now as we all need to progress on the forum so now move on to save the next big record for you.

There is one more record which I am saving here depicting the rare scenes of same merit and activity of one more member and here it is :

There are some more records above in the same category and it's surprising to see more members having these same numbers these days. But this is sign of progressive growth for them and forum having some potential members is good.

Bitcoin Pizza Day is becoming even more popular, with a record 50 pizzas in this year's contest.
Everyone that participated and had the pleasure to eat pizza to celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day is a winner!
Actually this year there were lot of submission on the forum and new members saw it as an opportunity to take part in it presenting their pizza creativity through this competition which is good to see.Half century for pizza submission is good sign of growth for these contest and next year we will have even more.

Congratulations Fillippone for winning this year's Bitcoin Pizza Day bake off contest!
So finally it's our Italian perfectionist who have bagged this year best pizza award with his authentic traditional style and it's well deserved. So congratulations to him foe the same.

Thank you, everyone for participating and for the people just tuning in, this is the third edition of this contest and while the rules were mostly unchanged, I'm thinking of spicing things up next year!
That would be great to see some new additions to the next year pizza contest and how members take it.

I tip my hat to my fellow contender for the beautiful creations.

Bitcasino.io support with round numbers 1300 merit
The last merit they need to reach this target was given by me and thought of saving it here but forgot about it and see you beat me to it Grin

aysg76 You also need to note the number 1717 is really good to save. Cheesy
Only 1 left for it to save it here but don't know if it's ruined by someone giving me more than 1 needed ATM Grin so still going my way with more motivation each day to be better asset for the forum.

Thank you for keeping this record of mine.  I've been absent more so I would have a hard time keeping it.
Congratulations to you man on achieving this one time record on the forum where you get to see these four numbers in order so keep up the effective work and more records will be saved here even if you are absent as members like @Raflesia are quite active these days in doing the work even if it's unnoticed ny us.
1674  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MS Word vulnerability could lead to stealing your bitcoins on: June 05, 2022, 01:31:15 PM
Like many others, I have to admit that I am guilty of that myself. Windows is all I have ever used since I was a child and I have gotten used to it so much. The thing is, if I had negative experiences, hacks, and stuff like that, I wouldn't hesitate to try something else. But I haven't. I am generally quite cautious and I use different devices for different things. Even stuff like USB devices don't get shared among my laptops. I treat almost all emails as spam and fraudulent and have no need to experiment with unknown software or even mobile apps.

Maybe when things calm down on a personal level I can take the time to start researching Linux and setting it up on one of my computers. I don't consider it a priority at the moment.
Using Windows is not risky if you are taking all the precautionary steps like in your case but most of the people around globe use Windows only and if you check out the reports you will find most hacks and scams are done to window users only as it's not as good as Linux when it comes to security perspective. In your case the thing is different like you are not sharing any of the device plug ins and not having cryptos on your computer but for many they are storing funds on Metamask and download malicious files and click on links that made these hacks possible because they were ignorant enough to get their funds compromised.

So you can keep using the same if you are having this  much knowledge about the security and always keep your funds away from your system which is best possible option.
1675  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 05, 2022, 01:20:46 PM

That's it..  I will def be using Rollbit more and more for sports betting then use winnings, if any that is, and try to win one of those apes.  And no more doing dumb side bets with people in the forum.  Use those coins for loot boxes.  Grin  It's prolly -EV but whatever.  And are there any chances to win any free bets in the site?  Seems like a good added incentive to play in the site.

And thanks for the heads up.

Yeah they are giving this chance to win these NFT's worth millions from these loot boxes and if we want to bet then we can try it once although the amount would be higher for these bets but there is nice addition that you can drop your favourite NFT to the lootbox and then try to open it and if you are lucky you could also have one of these so must try it once.
1676  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 05, 2022, 01:06:44 PM
Anyway, always remember, not your keys not your coins and KYC is dangerous, on any platform.
Thats right. This is the reason why we need to be careful on where to entrust our details because there's always a risk associated for complying on kyc. What if worse case scenario happened and our personal details gets compromise? Its a big problem.

In Roobet, level 1 verification became a mandatory if you want to continue to play. I comply on this requirement because this site is one of the casino that I prefer playing. Its a choice but it doesnt mean everyone should do the same because it still depends on what you prefer and your trust for the particular casino.
Moreover you are not giving out your privacy completely with the level 1 KYC and being small gambler i will never need to go beyond it but we should always be careful with these privacy problems as your personal data might be misused if you are using some non-legit site or some exchange that are prone yo hacks. So be careful in these matters.
1677  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN] Is DdmrDdmr even human? on: June 05, 2022, 11:19:05 AM
This is not a bad idea.
Instead of meriting random posts he tenerti users he eventually marked as “valuable”.
When you get the first merit from @ddmrddmr you know that is only a “mark” and you’ll eventually get a balance of merits later.
He could simple award more merits per post, like many other MS do (myself included), but this is own distinctive fingerprint in meriting habits.
Not at all bad idea and i would say he hardly misses any quality post to merit and when he remerits these posts they all are well deserved and it's his unique style of merit policy.Like usually he would give 1-2 merits at first to quality posts across different sections and then again rain them with some extra one's which is indeed good.

But his speed is somewhat what other's can't match easily and appreciate you for the efforts also in updating the spreadsheet with his merit sprees to the users with timframe letting us know he is super human in merit world.
1678  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 04, 2022, 12:48:16 PM
Yes the forum campaign has helped them to build reputation and also manager is well reputed on forum.
Talking about signature campaign will help to build the reputation is wrong because there's a scam casino launch their own campaign but they're still scam their gamblers. Also it can be used for new casino to taking an advantage how to gain a respect in this forum, then after many people deposit to their site, they will run away. It's just for promotion, nothing more... the reputation is based on their casino itself.
There is difference between legit and scam campaigns as you can find out it directly. There are lot of complaints and issues for scam campaign and you will see the negative tags also from the forum members like in one of the scam casino campaign we have on forum.Your marketing will let you expand your business and your legitimacy will build your reputation. If people know about your work then only you will gain attention and the reputation with your work so what you are saying is not correct.

Never heard of him before, but it's good to see Bitcasino partnering with more and more popular celebrities like Stake etc in order to stay competitive in the evolving crypto gambling market which is why it's a good marketing move indeed.
I have known him in the past also and when i saw Bitcasino partnership with him then I got amazed as he is popular artist in Africa and also have these some good endorsemens on his end.Yes for competitive market you need to do lot of things and to bind players on the site.
1680  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN] Is DdmrDdmr even human? on: June 04, 2022, 12:24:10 PM
Since @fillippone seems to have been missing this one, I'll do the honors:
~298 merit sent to ~289 posts in less than 5 minutes.

Is DdmrDdmr even human? Well, the thing doing the meriting is definitely not... Wink
Although he sends his merit missiles to the pre-determined targets most of time which means he remerits the users with some extra one's but still it's inhuman job to do this at such fast pace.

Yesterday was just checking my profile when i saw some additional merits and 70-80% my gut feeling was undoubtedly our merit machine @DdmrDdmr

Whenever there is new constructive post on the forum he's active to push that merit button and you would find it across most of the boards even local one's so he is exceptional in these merit bombardments to users profile.

@DdmrDdmr sending merits at this pace
