61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An interesting story and experience of a gambler on: April 17, 2024, 03:39:11 AM
It was better that he did some purchases and give his mom some money and debt paid. Because if it he didn't do and bought all of those stuff then for sure that the money will just be going back to the casino again.

So, aside from being addicted gambler, he's also a reckless spendthrift that have bought stuff that he is not using.

What will come to his mind next is he'd sell all of those stuff that are in the boxes, will deposit the money to the casino and boom some another good story that had made him xxxxx money and multiplier.

EPL season 17 is happening now for Dota 2 while everyone is bored and waiting for the ESL One. This is in Europe so checking out some teams that have the potential since most of them are strong.

Our good boy Dendi is participating on this tournament and it's got 2 days before the playoffs happens and sadly, I've just seen that they're about to get eliminated.

Still no luck for Dendi even with these kinds of tournaments, he and his team struggles.
63  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Comparing Inheritance Services on: April 16, 2024, 12:27:47 AM
While I thought that this service might not be needed for those who are hands-on like us, this could be needed by those who don't have time to teach their relatives who will inherit their holdings.

That's an interesting list, but I don't think that I would ever rely on a third party service to deal with the problem of crypto inheritance.
Same thoughts as mine, there's no need to rely on third party services that you'll need to hand over your crypto just for the sake of the loved ones that shall deserve your inheritance.

Some may find an attorney that will write things for them but that's all about the paper and will but not including the safekeeping services so, I haven't taken a look at these services but it's an interesting one that there are offers like this for real.
64  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Easy method to stay safe for new bitcoin buyer crypto beginner on: April 15, 2024, 11:39:48 AM
IMHO, in relation to this matter for most of the newbies it's because they've been attracted to airdrops and it's not just Bitcoin being hacked to them but related to ignorance that they possess.

4) Do not login to your wallet with mobile if you are new to crypto.
How they can access their wallets on their mobile if they won't login? This is making it scary to login to wallet apps. I think rephrasing it into not logging in and connecting it to unknown websites is enough.

And this also applies to the web wallets or anything that you have with your wallets. Just avoid unnecessary websites that you don't know and avoid connecting wallets where you funds at.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of eSports Betting on: April 15, 2024, 09:38:15 AM
Speaking of data, it's also why esports betting has become interesting. At the start of the tournaments, the odds provider doesn't always provide the best odds, and you could find a few good opportunities to ride these teams before they become one of the favorites.

Regardless of the TOs multi-streaming to other platforms, the betting experience in terms of live betting isn't always the best due to the live matches being several minutes ahead while the broadcast is behind. In sports, you rarely see the streams behind by much, and most of the time it's usually less than a minute.
I agree, live betting isn't really that much and popular in esports because of what the bookies set so it's more of before the matches happen. And about the odds, it's also true that the providers don't give the best of it.

But, that's actually a good thing because if you've been a fan and player of these esports where you can also bet and you know and have the idea of the players and teams, it's an advantage for you as a bettor.

That's how I see it with my perspective if it's about the odds because you'll never know what will happen in a match because they're full of twists and clutches.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold vs bitcoin in a WWIII scenario on: April 15, 2024, 07:39:29 AM
[..]It is not a hedge against hyperinflation, but it is a more honest substitute for the current monetary system.

While bitcoin is not a hedge against inflation, gold is. The goldprice has a long history of soaring when the monetary system fails.
[..]
Why not just say that both of them are a good hedge against inflation? You're looking at the long history of gold but why not recognize the short history of Bitcoin from how much it has started up to the present?

what is your investment strategy for crypto?
Bitcoin and a few alts.

In times of heavy monetary inflation/ war threats I expected the BTC price to soar, just like gold soars. In reality what we have seen is that BTC crashes hard and precious metals soar.
Well, I'll make it simple, you cannot carry that heavy load of precious metals when war starts. But with Bitcoin, you can have it with your paper wallet or seed phrase to run wherever you go when every building collapses.

I think I should sell my assets prior to a major war, and buy in after the crash
That might do so that you've got liquid cash.
67  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptoreaper.io----We have created a gambling website on: April 14, 2024, 11:42:49 PM
I'd feel that there's no need for any register to this type of game but I get it for everyone's unique system recognition. But if you can just remove it and let every visitor have their own unique seeds per visit, that's easier.

The way you're asking everyone to sign in needs to go through with Discord and not everyone is a fan of that messaging platform.

That's just my take about it and your flip game is totally simple. Do the open games below mean the history of the bets of players? I see nothing so probably no one has tried it yet.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It takes the balls... on: April 14, 2024, 08:39:08 PM
It seems that the Iran Israel conflict is affecting the price of Bitcoin but also do not forget that every bullrun has ever has a 30% plus drops on the way up, its obvious if you are good at reading charts.
Nah, I don't see it that's the effect of the conflict of Iran and Israel. If there is, then it's because some army there or their government withdrew money to buy arms? or whales from the affected countries have withdrawn because of the conflict? no.

The BUT here is how people get so weak after the dips finally happen and they do nothing, Wake the hell up, now it's happening right in front of your eye, do not sleep on it.

Instead of doing nothing, consider DCA.

I agree, DCA while you can and take every dip as an opportunity to buy because you'll not see it again once we enter the bull run.

But we might see it after it but it's going to be during the bear market and you'd consider these prices that are still quite expensive before you buy so, DCA.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arcblock - anyone else get in early? on: April 14, 2024, 06:48:09 PM
So, in just 2 months from the $70M market capitalization that you've mentioned it's now $258M so that's almost 4x of gain already.

I'd assume that you OP have already gained with 4x and that's already a nice profit for you in just a few months. If you're going to decide to sell, you are in profit and this is a good time to sell.

But if you think that there will be more, then it's solely your decision whether to wait for more or not.

I got in last year my average is 10 cents so up over 25x currently.

I have taken out my investment so far and will take out profit when it next pumps and it reaches $3.40
Good luck if that's going to happen soon because it may have reached its ATH already but you didn't take out some profits from it.

You've got a nice share already and that's what you shouldn't missed out or else you're waiting for it to dip instead of it to pump. Why not DCA in some profits?

With that, you're not going to miss out any potential high that it is having right now.

71  Economy / Economics / Re: Better Money: Gold, Fiat, Or Bitcoin? on: April 13, 2024, 06:33:58 AM
We need fiat and there's no doubt about that but the world is changing and innovating so, with the acceptance of many countries with Bitcoin. There's a possibility that digital apps provided by banks might have a portion on their wallets by depositing Bitcoin on it.

And then, you can spend directly it with everything just like with the common credit card payments and QR code payments through Venmo, Zelle, etc.

It's just about the application and adoption if it's about money. Gold? it's far from being money but it's one of the safest assets that one can have as an investment.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Illegal Books on: April 13, 2024, 12:34:38 AM
There are a plethora of illegal books, many run by college students, young adults and even teens. How secure are these websites??
Simple, if they're run by unknown people then why you're going to use them? you know that they're illegal so why patronize them?

What I am really asking is how easy (possible) would it be to hack the site and change a users balance without being detected??
Every website can be hacked by anybody and having the weak security that they have makes them easy to get hacked. That is why legitimate casinos that have reputations over time invest a lot in the security of their systems.

They don't get penetrated easily by the hackers but they're not 100% secure because of some updates that they've might missed or the upgrade and fault finding by the hackers through potential loopholes.
73  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: April 12, 2024, 11:12:18 AM
So, I am brining this dicussion to the gambling community here, and I have just three questions to ask, and they are..

1. Amongst the three casino tokens I mentioned above, if you were to invest in one, which would it be?
I think RLB is going to be my choice. While FUN also has a good volume and market cap and its chart doesn't show that much, if I'll accumulate I might include it as well.

And for BFG, I don't think I'll get into it. I've got concerns with its liquidity unlike the two.

2. Are there any new casino tokens you think will do well in this coming bull run? Please tell the community and briefly introduce the project to us..
I don't have but the thought of every possible altcoin might pump this bull run.

3. Overall, how are you expecting casino tokens to perform generally, in this coming bull run.?
Well, I am not distinguishing them as different with the others so in general, they might pump this bull run.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin been inflitrated by global elite? on: April 11, 2024, 01:21:56 PM
There's even one opinion that I've read before about what if Bitcoin was actually made by the FED.  Grin
Too many theories about bitcoin, I have also heard some opinions that bitcoin was created by the FBI and now there is a more attractive hypothesis that bitcoin was created by the FED, LOL.

I don't believe in any theory because I believe that those centralized organizations always seek to control us
Don't worry they're theories but one thing is for sure satoshi created Bitcoin. And another fact is that we will never know who satoshi actually is or are.

so why would they create something for everyone that even they cannot control? If you wanted to control and manipulate people, would you create something that even you couldn't control? No one is stupid enough to shoot themselves in the foot like that.
I don't know, only them can answer that but are they the creators of it? they're just rumors and opinions as I've said so nothing to get serious with that.

Bitcoin is bitcoin, it's decentralized and who created it, who is Satoshi, everything doesn't matter anymore.
And props to the contributors that helped satoshi perfect it including Hal.

Is Bitcoin really freedom money?
Actually, it is.

You hold your own Bitcoin which is your money and you're free to spend them anytime without having the worry that someone might lose it but only you.

Considering how banks are keeping our money and they take advantage of it as their service. Us, we hold it for the actual safe keeping that no third party is involved.
76  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Future of online poker - PokerFi on: April 11, 2024, 08:54:05 AM
I find it something new but many of these "Fis" projects don't get traction anymore. While you can still be known and get popular this time, it doesn't go along anymore with the community. It's just best if you'd focus dominating with the entire online crypto poker industry but without using these FIs matters.

Does your website automatically go with the BR domain? because if so, much better if you put that into the English domain as default. I think that you're focusing on the Brazilian users if that is so.

But if not, then it's best for you to have it defaulted for global users in English.

77  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Gamefi really dead? on: April 10, 2024, 11:26:23 PM
I think games have become a part of our lives.
Most of us have been gaming since we're a kid and when we've grown up, we can finally buy all of those consoles that we've missed so yeah, a big part of our lives.

The market and revenue performance of traditional games prove that chain games, as a part of games, have huge potential, but why is everyone’s attitude so negative?
It's because the motivation of these games when they've got their own native token isn't on the game. But on the reward that you'll get after you play the game.

I think that's good and a dream of everyone that you get to earn and enjoy but it's not that sustainable at all unless big gaming companies and producers do one for all of us. So, knocking on Sony, if they release one with real world market and exchanging of in game money to real world money, that's gotta be big and lot of funding needed.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: April 10, 2024, 10:05:42 PM
Despite the good games that OG has got. They're still in danger if they're not going to win the last day match that they have tomorrow.

Two series for them, with Heroic which was already eliminated but can give them headache and the same goes with Azure Ray. And as we speak about OG, they've got a direct replacement by ESL due to the visa issues of 1win.

What a way OG, after this, they're going to ESL Birmingham.
The 4-0 win from PSG.Quest and the 2-0 win AR earned from yesterday's matches reduced their chances. Now they'll need at least 3/4 map wins to secure a tiebreaker and lock one of the lower bracket slots, or 4/4 win for the second upper bracket slot.
Despite all of their efforts, they're part of the 8 teams that will be eliminated on this round robin stage. Now, there are three teams that are part of the tie breaker, AR, PSG.Quest and G2.IG.

That sudden replacement for the ESL Birmingham was a blessing for OG, and I don't mind if we can see them again pull another miracle win against the currently hottest team.  Wink
Yup, I agree.

They deserve it and it's truly a blessing for them and with the ESL Birmingham, there will be EPT points and they will for sure not going to miss this chance.

Poor 1win, it should be one of their ways to get easy access to TI by ending some good placer and with higher points.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is alt season likely to be? on: April 10, 2024, 08:52:17 PM
I am currently 100% in altcoins and wondering when we can expect the next big alt season?
Then most of the alts will pump but when it's about "most", it means that some of them or just think that many of them won't be going up as well.

I plan to hold all my altcoins till this alt season when alt coins are performing better than Bitcoin and then start putting profits into Bitcoin.
Isn't it that we've been already in the altcoin season when meme coins and a lot of majority coins have pumped already? I know that the cycle is like every after Bitcoin's ATH, the altcoin season comes.

But who knows if this time, it's gonna be the alts first before Bitcoin goes up.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: April 09, 2024, 11:37:11 PM
And the first team to get eliminated on this round-robin stage is team Heroic. They've only won 1 time against Falcons and it isn't followed by any.

They still have one match against OG but that will not make any more sense whether they win or lose. They can just give OG a loss for the points system to make sure that OG will also get out.
They also 2-0'd Team Spirit, but it's not enough as they dropped too many 0-2s to their opponents.

Even with not much on the line, i'd assume they'll take that final match seriously because it's still an opportunity to deny another team from qualifying for the playoffs.

Then again, OG did the impossible by giving Team Falcons their first 0-2 loss so they'd probably have a good chance of making it out unless they fail to get a map from Azure Ray.
