This one worked Payment hash 65109e8e0a6d9882674787c282bbc797684ce3a8665fb2836086113af8d6c605 I like the concept and the speed of LN transactions but I feel like there is still a lot to improve before we can think of mass adoption. Setting up an incoming channel should be a lot easier and it's not very convenient to need to have the client running all the time if you want to receive something. Also, 6 hours max expiry for a payment request is not enough. In any case, thanks for a great trade!

Maybe Eclair didn't keep running in the background, I'll keep the screen on for a while. Try again?

When you're ready, I'll post a payment request. This expires in 6 hours, so I can't plan a week ahead.

The spaces are annoying on mobile, so I made a QR-code on my PC, then scanned from Eclair. Your request didn't ask for an amount, I sent 0.1 m BTC. Fee paid: 2 sat! Received! I didn't realise I could set an amount, I just saw that setting now. Let me know how I can repay

Hmm that's really weird, I don't see errors in my client. Maybe my phone went offline at some point? It was set to expire in 6 hours, so that shouldn't be the problem. Let's try again with a new payment request? Let's see if this one works lightning:lnbc1pw0cz40pp544wcdru5s9ks88jp6n37schgsl5ptzvy3ws6qu6gzq545cr7kqzsdqqxqr4rqrzj qwryaup9lh50kkranzgcdnn2fgvx390wgj5jd07rwr3vxeje0glc7zxhe5qq8mgqqqqqqqlgqqqqqeq qjq8mu44hgczzukj8rawa4vtmrjzmg2mmeju3s8x9mqv6uzka26ny3p59jexhr8evus7fsrmjl8q8ug 2lteazftkxynm4ue8xd8q94pfwgqjfn4va

You've got to ask yourself why you should use LBC instead of a big exchange like Binance or Kraken... I don't see any reason to choose LBC.
Without cash trades, not many reasons. There is still the possibility of using other means of payment for people who don't have a bank account (as is the case on many 3rd world countries), or if they are in a country or have a bank that bans crypto transactions.

Very interested in trying this out. After some fiddling I think I managed to open an inbound channel for payments. Amount: 0.1 mBTC (0.0001 BTC, or 10,000 satoshi). Duration: one week. Interest: 1% (0.001 mBTC (=0.000001 BTC or 100 satoshi)). lightning:lnbc1pw0n8j6pp5790h8zncfhxjperah0tn8l07czrfuughgrfaw2n9fkywr8muzjlsdqqxqr4rqrzj qwryaup9lh50kkranzgcdnn2fgvx390wgj5jd07rwr3vxeje0glc7zxhe5qq8mgqqqqqqqlgqqqqqeq qjq5wharrjwufrhfphs87rpwf7l36hk4s786hr6fwdgaterye0lzz3pu6vz0pqv9jsalc3yxdw3cxgr rt49y870t7pz7x8dftf0nucmpngpwz2y9t Cheers

If you are not the customer, you are the product. Period.
A company needs to make revenues to survive and if they are not charging you anything for the usage of the platform, it inevitably means that your data will be sold or at least used for their own profit. And 99% of people either don't realize this, don't know what consequences this can have or simply don't care as all they want are "freebies" and being able to share the latest cat video with their 2000 "friends".
However, the monetization of our data is not the worst part. Selective censorship (for political/ideological reasons) and sharing of your activities with the authorities is a way larger threat, and there have already been cases of people prosecuted for inappropriate comments or even for liking someone else's comments.

Of course, they will be anywhere they see they can make decent profits. And more so in such an illiquid market, where anyone with a few hundred million $ can push the price in the desired direction. They are not so much investing or even trading, they are effectively manipulating the markets in their favour, something they can't do (except some of the megawhales) in the stock market or much less in forex.

I will follow this project with interest. It would be good if you could set up a mailing list so people like me who are interested in knowing about updates, airdrops, etc. can be informed without needing to pay attention to Discord or social media.

Now, I am wondering what happened to the $15 million it got in its ICO run and why for the mere failure to source $1.1 million it is now giving up. Something must be wrong here. I pity all of its supporters who threw their money for Blockport which can soon be gone with the wind.
Most likely they failed to liquidate all the crypto they raised when ETH and BTC were at their peak and now the funds are worth a lot less. This same mistake has been made by dozens of companies that raised funds during the bull market.

If you asking the best of course STO is the first. STO is Secure Token Offering that is mean this token is really secure for investor, but to lauch STO is need big money and high level condition to uprove it. That's why STO is hard to lauch but good to invest.
Apart from this the main handicap at the moment for security tokens is the lack of liquidity. There are only a bunch of countries where an STO can be launched, very few regulated exchanges for STOs, even less security-law compliant blockchains and hardly any users familiar with these and registered in the aforementioned exchanges. Of course this will change with time but at the moment this is lagging the market. And in general how good an investment is doesn't depend so much on whether the company is launching an ICO, STO or IEO, but the strength of the idea, the team behind it and the tokenomics (this last part is way too often disregarded and it plays a key role).

I had some MAIDs in there of which I had completely forgotten until now... oh well, shit happens. It's the first time I got coins confiscated by an exchange since I got into crypto back in 2013 so I can't really complain
