61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stress test is underway - Watch your fees. on: September 11, 2015, 06:45:35 AM
And what are the mighty Core developers doing against it? Sitting in their ivory tower drinking Frappuccino? (oh wait, the Frappuccino part, was the other guy)

It's all nice saying, that they have proven their point with the previous test, but was it really received? I am not aware, that there are solutions developed to this problem(at least not in a timely manner).
62  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Devianttwo is a Pedophile AKA Robert Christopher on: September 04, 2015, 09:11:01 AM
Totally. Because I've been known to lie so often. (rolls eyes).  Seriously grow up and go bother someone who cares about your opinion.

I don't give a fuck what you think Robert Christopher, I know exactly what type of lying manipulative scumbag you are because you lot are everywhere. You are not everybody, but you are everywhere.

Unless of course it's a hot female teacher who has sex with her 16yo male student. Then it's all "victim, my ass!" or "Where were teachers like that when *I* was in school???"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teogyQ7_r4s

+1 internets to you, sir. Abusing a position of power is still abuse and many adult survivors of child sexual-abuse have to cope with the fact that their bodies sometimes responded to the sexual activity and it fills them with guilt and disgust. Buy, hey, it is *totally* ok for 'Hot Adult Woman'(tm) to abuse her position of power to manipulate a boy into sex, right? Because, something something something.

The only lying scumbag on this thread is Brad Harrison, who promised to make an own thread about me.
So, and now I am going to unwatch this stupid thread, since I really can't take you retards anymore.

When did this become a Christian forum?
When did it became an anti-homosexual forum?

This thread just shows, what kind of people are on this forum.

When did this become the politically sensitive forum?
Leave your sensitivities at the door. (Or be prepared to defend them that is what discussion is for)
https://sites.google.com/site/politicallycpoison/
I just thought, it is funny that this thread about pedophilia and you made a rant against homosexuals. That really tells a lot about you.
And no, I don't want to discuss the topic, since I already see, that it is not leading anywhere.
Just one more sentence:
Tolerance doesn't mean, that we have to tolerate your intolerance.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin XT has code which downloads your IP address to facilitate blacklisting on: September 04, 2015, 07:20:47 AM
Honestly, I wasn't around during the discussions so I'm not completely familiar with why they were voted down.

Regarding trust, a lot of bitcoiners seem to be very black and white about their risk modeling. I agree that we don't want to erode decentralization or rely upon centralized 3rd parties, but actually thinking about the tradeoffs is better than gut rejections.

Let's ask the question:
What happens if the Tor Project gets compromised and the IP list is flooded with known node IP addresses?

- If your node is behind a proxy, nothing - anti-ddos is auto disabled
- If your node is manually turned off, nothing - anti-ddos is disabled
- If your node is not under attack, nothing - anti-ddos doesn't activate until incoming connections are full

- If your node has all inbound connections full (presumably under attack), then you will start dropping connections based upon the "Tor Project's compromised lists". You'll still have your outbound connections which won't be affected but some known nodes won't be able to connect to your node.

Seems like a pretty mild issue to me.

Let's take a look at this from another angle.

Does a node need a trusted list to tell it when an IP address is maliciously attacking it? No. It can deprioritize access from that IP address.

So what's the point of the list? Before we get to trusted vs. trustless -- why does this feature even exist? It serves no purpose.
What does "maliciously attacking" mean in that concrete context?
And if it is so easy to determine that, why has nobody done it yet?

66  Other / Meta / Re: You have reported 5 posts with 75% accuracy on: September 03, 2015, 02:22:24 PM
That's probably 3 good reports, 1 bad report, 1 unhandled report.
Oh, I see.
But I made my last report at least 2 weeks ago(before the one report today).
You would think, somebody would have handled it, yet  Wink
67  Other / Meta / You have reported 5 posts with 75% accuracy on: September 03, 2015, 02:01:35 PM
So, 3.75 of my reports are accurate?

I knew, the forum software is bad, but you would think, it gets at least basic math right Wink
68  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Devianttwo is a Pedophile AKA Robert Christopher on: September 03, 2015, 01:48:25 PM
There is a big difference between abusing children and looking at pictures of (abused?) children.

No. No there isn't. You don't get off on images of child abuse without sharing the guilt of the gross betrayal pictured within.

You might not be to blame for the dysfunctional sexual urge you have as a pedophile, I do get that it isn't a choice to feel like that, but you are responsible for ANYTHING you do to indulge that urge external to your own brain. That *is* the choice pedophiles make, to act on their urges, which are toxic and harmful to wider society as well as the child.

So, no, there is no playing it down or trying to minimise it. You can think whatever thoughts you like, what you can't do is externalise them in any way whatsoever. You don't have that right as a pedophile because your sexual predilections are damaging to others.
So, looking at a picture of someone robbing a bank is the same as robbing the bank your self?

You guys are retarded and have no actual sense of justice. I am out of this thread, but I am still looking forward to the thread Brad Harrison is making about me, since in his logic I have to be a pedophile, if I don't have the moral compass of someone living in the Wild West.
69  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Devianttwo is a Pedophile AKA Robert Christopher on: September 03, 2015, 01:21:07 PM
I screwed up and made a very VERY bad judgement call.

Screwed up? Judgement call? "Hmmmm, should I download those child abuse images?" Is not a 'judgement call' type of question for anybody who isn't a twisted fucked-up excuse for a human being.

You're only sorry you got caught, shitbag.

I screwed up and made a very VERY bad judgement call. I am a God loving man and I always have been.  I know my Lord will protect me through this hard time. Goodbye my friends and my God Bless each and every one of you.

Fuck you and your 'God'. I'm sure you'll quickly find the rest of the child-abusing scumbags huddled in the prison yard in their 'prayer circle', roundly declaring themselves 'healed' of the 'sin' and no longer under the control of 'satan', because you lot don't exactly do intellectual honesty, which is why you love yourself so much Gawd. You get to play-pretend *real* fucking hard and convince yourselves that Gawd has forgiven you and how you're not going to make the same 'mistake' in future, again. Each time.

Aha, I see 'Swordsoffreedom' is flying that bullshit 'Getting off on abusing children is just the same as being Gay' twisted 'justification'. Please explain how two grown adults having consensual sex, irrespective of their gender, is *anything* like an adult abusing his position of power to betray children for his selfish sexual gratification.

I'm eager to hear your sound explanation for why your buddy, the pedophile, is just being unfairly treated, you know, what with how teh gheys trample on your right to hate that they demand to be treated as equal human beings.
There is a big difference between abusing children and looking at pictures of (abused?) children.
And yes, I know the ramification of "without demand there wouldn't be supply" etc., but it is still not the same. So, if you want to argue, argue about the crime he actually committed.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If CoinWallet.eu is stressing BTC... Do you support stressing CoinWallet.eu? on: September 03, 2015, 12:23:29 PM
Stress testing a product is part of every sound engineering process that wants to improve a product and make it more robust. While very inconvenient when this happens it can only get out stronger. The problem here is that testnet can't simulate every real cases.

No.

You and I both know sound engineering isn't the reasoning behind these attacks.  They are attacking the network trying to force a sketchy ass fix.

Perhaps Coinwallet.eu could use some stress testing on their product to assure their engineering is sound... you know... to help make it more robust.  Roll Eyes

It's illegal to do a DOS attack on Coinwallet.eu from the UK.

A law was passed last week that makes it an offence to launch a denial of service attack in the UK, punishable by up to ten years in prison.

Why isn't it illegal for them to do a stress test on Bitcoin, because it's a very close to a DOS attack on a website? I don't understand why a legit UK company can get away with this behavior. If it's not illegal in the UK then some new laws against it need passing.

Who is going to sue them? The CEO of Bitcoin? lol
Besides, they are not a legit UK company. I also don't think, they care, if you DDOS them.

How has Vienna been since you moved there 2 years ago
Seriously? That is all you got so far? Come on. At least try to make an effort.

I will let your GF know about your pedophile ways
If you find out, who my GF is, I buy you a beer. She is not really using the internet much. That might actually be a hard one.

Cowards and nobodies, but at least in this thread they can cheer them self.
Brad Harrison? Never heard about that guy.

Are you a pedophile also? should I dig up your information as well?
It's not hard to dig up my information. Feel free. Who cares?

So you are also a pedophile, you sick mental bastard! you belong in hell
I will have a topic for you on here today, just wait
I am looking forward to it Wink

That is disgusting. There is no room in this world for those people.

Maybe I'm going a bit off topic here but...
People don't choose what they're attracted to. Gay people don't choose to be gay and paedophiles don't choose to be paedophiles.
I understand the hate, but we shouldn't bash him too much.

When a topic is pure bullying I welcome off-topic posts.  I see intolerant people attacking without trying to understand.  I see cowardly people attacking just for the praise of other bullies.  Truly shameful conduct.

Cowards and nobodies, but at least in this thread they can cheer them self.

76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block with 9 MB currently?!? on: September 03, 2015, 09:38:12 AM
It depends on the miner.
They often mine 0 transaction blocks, because it is faster in certain situation.
They often reject some transactions(everybody with a full node can configure, what transactions get in their mempools)

Do they find blocks faster because they were lucky and found the right nonce very fast?
From the way I understand it, it works something like that:

Another pool find a block and sends the hash(without transaction)
Your pool gets the hash, put doesn't know which transactions are in that block, so they can't fill their own new block, since they could theoretically put a transaction in there, that is already in the previous block. So, you tell your miners to work on the empty block.
If the block is found in a short period you just propagate that empty block, if you verified which transactions are in the previous block and which one you can put in your new block, you tell your miners to work on that block.

78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block with 9 MB currently?!? on: September 03, 2015, 09:12:28 AM
Im not saying that a 9 MB has been minted. Im just seeing on tradeblock.com that there are currently more than 8k transactions with a size of more than 9 MB since the last block. I dont know if I see anything wrong?!?
Ah that is something else entirely. You're talking about unconfirmed transactions, right? There is ~6500 on blockchain.info and the size is around 5800kb. This is actually quite good as this number tends to be much higher.

Does this not have to do with that stress test they are doing again now in September?
I do not see any signs of a stress test just yet. Have they stated a day on which they will start this "stress test"?

I dont understand how it is possible that we have roundabout 6k unconfirmed transactions and already minted 2 blocks. I thought, miners are packing all transactions together. But I guess the answer is more complicated
Blocks are limited in space, so they can't just put all transaction in one block. MIners have to prioritize which transactions go in the next block, and which have to wait.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block with 9 MB currently?!? on: September 03, 2015, 08:54:38 AM
I think, there is just another Stress test going on.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Don't Want Democracy, We Want Consensus! on: September 03, 2015, 08:41:19 AM
I haven't read the whole thread yet, but I have to point some things out.

I live in a country, where politics follows a consensus path, I even have some Power Point slides from some University Courses about Politics in Austria, where the word consensus is all over the place. So, I know, what consensus means in reality. It does not mean, that everybody wins. It often means nothing is happening at all(there are some reforms, which are talked about for at least 10 years even when the matter is urgent).
It also often means, that a bad compromise is made, nobody is really happy about.

I am not promoting any other kind of decision making, but the whole cheering about, how great a consensus based model is, is just purely naive, I live with the downsides of it since I am born.
