21  Economy / Speculation / Bullish segment in Swedish News program "Rapport" on: November 23, 2013, 05:19:32 PM
Super bullish segment in Swedish news program "Rapport" just aired. It's the 6 PM news program by the Public Service tv "SVT" and it's watched by a lot of people (remember that Public Service in Sweden is top quality").

No link to clip yet, but I assume it will be out in later this evening.

The segment focused on KNC (Swedish Asic company) and Safello (Swedish exchange). It was a business oriented segment about how Bitcoin is creating new jobs. Also, they mentioned that the value has increased 10-fold every year, with charts and lines and everything. Smiley

No drugs, no "dark web", no hacks. No FUD!

The sentiment is changing. That's bullish.
22  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: RAM-Reduction & Backup Center Testing (version 0.89.99.14) on: November 22, 2013, 10:59:52 AM
...
I am actually in the process right now of upgrading my release process to include 10.04 and 12.04 installers by default.
...
Will have a 10.04 offline bundle for you tomorrow morning Smiley
In my search process I just noticed there is only 10.04 support until 2013/05.
Are you sure you want to keep support on 10.04?

It does not really matter if the computer is never connected to the internet. However, 12.04 would have support for more devices. The main drawback with 10.04 is that it's not hosted on a very fast server anymore, and finding the ISO is not as straightforward as finding the 12.04.

China: Calm down! You are scaring us!
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big crash on: November 17, 2013, 01:13:01 PM
Truth is, no one knows. It's a new game with markets across several continents and exchanges instead of gox only. My guess is as good as yours. The one thing I am sure of is that in the long-term, holding is the key.
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big crash on: November 17, 2013, 01:08:43 PM
Yes. I suspect there will be a big correction down the line. Most likely bottoming out at mid-500's before stabilizing at 700-800s.
Down to what? 250, 300?

Down to mid-500s, as I said. But that would most likely only be a short flash. The price would stabilize at around 700-800s, or perhaps 800-900s.

Very positive article. No FUD.

Just trolling. Nothing to see here.

What's the 420-joke that everyone else seems to understand?  Huh
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: please tell me i've done good? on: November 12, 2013, 11:39:26 PM
In the long run it may very well have been a good investment. I would recommend any (adult) friend to consider buying right now.

Since you are a minor, lectures are not optional:

You should have convinced your parents instead of doing it behind their backs. Would I have been your dad, I would have been mad and proud at the same time. These kinds of decisions are for adults. Period.

Just wanted to post a 'thank you' for all donations. The meter just bumped up to 2,86801 BTC. Wonderful!

Is the media really going to turn this uptrend into: "Launch of Silk Road 2.0 boasts bitcoin price"? Tbh, who cares about that? And wasn't the uptrend already well in motion before the launch of the new SR?

no one really cares about the SR clone that popped up again

I agree, but it's tiresome that the media won't stop talking about it. Didn't they learn anything from the closure of the first one?
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: What part of the First Selloff are we at right now? on: November 11, 2013, 07:46:29 AM
The chart in the OP is not relevant. Bitcoin is a technology. Did you see the use of e-mail go into the "denial phase"?

Oh, there are a lot of funny people here. Have you kids never seen a weekend-dip before?

Hint: Log charts.
