It's hopeless.
Nothing hopeless if you keep trying.  Cool

I wish I could meet whomever is hashing away at what is now 45,764.12 GH/s... Makes me wonder if its a company testing miners? Because that number jumped over 10,000 GH/s in the last 2 days.

What are you talking about? As long as it don't get too choppy its fine. That's all that's around me and the lake that I usually went to never got that bad. But the biggest issue was keeping water in it. Cry

Ive been actually wondering about that. What is the warrenty(or is there one) on the erupters. And I do remember on who I have gotten them from but I don't remember on what piticular ones i've gotten from who. So how does that work for extange IF there is a warrenty?

There's a limited warranty, and you are supposed to contact the reseller.  Resellers are provided with replacement units in advance from ASICMINER in order to facilitate returns of dead units.  ASICMINER claims 6 months for the warranty, but that will probably expire once they release the next gen chips and stop producing old ones.  BTC Guild is pretty painless for returns.

well ive only gotten 1 from you i guess the others im screwed..  Undecided
You already where when you bought any of them Smiley
not really. i paid cash for them sooo im making back my money. now if with bitcoin then i would be screwed with out lube...

i have tried 2 different internet connections. one with firewall and one with out. its something on your end. BUT now that i know you are mining litecoin that helps alittle.
1269  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Can't get 16 ASICminers to all go online on: September 13, 2013, 08:15:51 AM
make sure that you have http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx installed.
what mining software are you trying to use?

also use BFGMiner for the erupters!
1270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new rig not working! HELP on: September 13, 2013, 08:14:14 AM
that is if you make a bat file correct.

Make sure that your windows firewall is not blocking teamviewer.
1271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new rig not working! HELP on: September 13, 2013, 06:47:11 AM
could that cause the drop in kh/s?

possibility
Now you say you got guiminer working? cgminer would be better and its really easy to use.

http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer
cgminer-3.4.2-windows.zip
open up cgminer.exe then it will ask you for your pools stratum or gatework url. pefered use the stratum url with port number ex: myguild.com:3333
then it will ask you for your username and then pass. ex: myworker.1   password: 1

then you will be all set to go. once you get that up you can see the temps you are getting and other info.

i could possibility set it up for you. You could run Teamviewer and PM me your id number and password it gives you.

i do have 16x pcie slots on the board. i followed a guide and it said to use all 1x to 16x pcie risers is that wrong?

it is an option to add more cards but the best is to use your x16 slots first.

also what guid are you using?

Go back to the rock you came from.  Cool   Go buy some BFL miners!

No thanks.  You want to be rude?  I can be rude!  Go back to jail cell you came from.
How dare you aid in the commission of a fraud!
While you are at it, I have a bridge in Brooklin you can buy for 100BTC and a Nigerian prince that wants, no NEEDS your help!  Yes YOUR help!  He wants to give you 10% of his Royal treasury and his daughter but he needs 12k USD to transfer his money via his agent that is abroad in the UK.

Your funny. Thanks for the laugh tonight!  Grin

I am shocked anyone fell for this SCAM!
If you believe that a company entered into manufacturing out of love, goodwill, and in the interest of preventing monopoly I roll my eyes at you.
It is the business of manufacturing miners for profit or manufacturing lies for profit.
And they are not manufacturing miners for profit.

If all they wanted was to help birds sing, puppys play and the sun shine brighter, or even just to help prevent a monopoly then they would make them and give them away or just keep them to mine themselves to offset the cost of manufacturing while fending off a monopoly.

But with BFL and Avalon there already is no monopoly.

Buying into a problem that does not exist for reasons that are too noble to trust is madness.

Go back to the rock you came from.  Cool   Go buy some BFL miners!

I only count 15 erupters. Wouldn't that be 4.88GH? 15*333mh = 4995 / 1024 = 4.8779296875Gh
