1286  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [295'000 GH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees, Stratum, MergedMining, Private Servers on: September 12, 2013, 07:35:07 AM
Why is it during the day blocks found go up and during the night they go down?
1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 12, 2013, 04:26:32 AM
And yet ya seriously think that they give 2 shits about the network hash rate. They are producing a product that is being purchased. ROI ROI ROI that is the only thing ya talk about. BitCoin is an investment and not a stable one. It may pay out and it may not. Just the way the ball bounces. So enjoy your carrot when it gets here and quit bitching.  Cool

read this https://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=support&section=howamipaid

from the sound of it it sounds like you make more in the long run but in short term mining pps is better Huh i guess?

It appears that the battery back up was the issue. hashing away at an average of 1.1mh.  not bad i guess for 3 7850s

another one that I can add is that the more powerful the linux controller will be the better will be for miner usability.
e.g. let say you want to add a vpn client (like  this one: http://www.ntop.org/products/n2n/) to monitor remotely your miner, I'd dare to say that you will have a higher probability to  succeed in case KnC have taken the BB black route

Okay however if they have a web/gui it may have the logs in it to help with said causes.

i got my erupters connected to my pi and its running just fine.  Smiley i guess i am confused as to what you are saying.??

You will never get back your roi unless you bought them super cheap

roi roi ROI roi thats all ya talk about... its a hobby not a freaking business.

and besides if you must know i have made roi already about daily to every other day.. paid cash for it. not bitcoin.

(asked also @KnC forum)

the miner will come with a beaglebone (0) or with a beaglebone black (1)?

sorry for being pedantic but I just want to be sure since the two are quite different in terms of spec

(0) http://beagleboard.org/Products/BeagleBone
(1) http://beagleboard.org/Products/BeagleBone%20Black

true but why should it really matter. as long as they work.. and get you a miner when they say they do is what matters!
